Abstract
- The article describes the case of a 28-year-old female who was diagnosed to be suffering from acral acanthosis nigricans (AN) for three years, based on clinical and histopathological findings. Topics discussed include which part of the body AN affects, its eight types, and its clinical significance. Also mentioned are the reported successful treatments of AN in individual cases including etretinate, metformin and urea.
