Abstract
- The article focuses on male rape laws in countries such as Afghanistan, Great Britain and the U.S and the application of concepts of taboo in rape laws. Topics discussed include the history of male rape laws in these countries, the societal perception of rape in these countries along with its effect on the law, and the challenges faced by male rape victims in relation to their protection. It mentions the Prison Rape Elimination Act that dealt with sexual assault of prisoners.
