Abstract: In this article, the author examines various issues relating to art copyright. Particular focus is given to how this relates to orphan artworks, artworks where copyright owners are unknown and impossible to locate. Additional topics discussed include orphan copyright awards in Great Britain, the UK (United Kingdom) Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO), and the online sale of art.
