This study highlights the value of grey literature in climate change research in the Philippines, emphasizing its essential role in understanding the issue within the country's unique socioeconomic and natural environment. A bibliometric analysis of publications in local journals reveals that various types and formats of grey literature are not merely supplementary but essential for communicating climate change, its effects, and adaptation strategies. Despite the prevalence of major publishers, a substantial amount of research in the country continues to be disseminated through local journals. However, these journals face significant challenges, including limited coverage in major databases and concerns about quality, which hinder their global recognition and impact. The findings recommend that the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) enhance the capacity of higher education institutions (HEIs) to improve the quality and credibility of local journals. This improvement would increase their visibility and reach, ensuring that the comprehensive body of Filipino research is preserved, recognized, and utilized in the global discourse on climate change. This scoping review examines the characteristics and reported outcomes of faculty incentive programs used to promote the adoption, adaptation, or creation of Open Educational Resources (OER) by academic libraries at higher education institutions. The study uses the PRISMA protocol for scoping reviews. The authors reviewed 1901 records: 1499 were from database searches and 402 from the grey literature. Twenty-three records met the inclusion criteria for this study. Objectives: This systematic review aimed to search the literature for the answer to the following questions. In human studies: Does the osseodensification technique increase the resonance frequency analysis given in implant stability quotient value and the insertion torque value compared to the conventional technique? In animal studies: Does the osseodensification technique increase implant stability quotient, bone-to-implant contact, and bone area fraction occupancy values over the conventional technique? Data sources: A search forstudies was carried out in eight databases until August 2021. Out of the 447 publications found, 11 were included. Results: In human studies, osseodensification technique showed better results for implant stability quotient values with a summarized median difference of 8.57. As for secondary stability, there was no significant difference, with summarized median difference of 4.49 in favor of the osseodensification technique. In animal studies, all results were favorable to the osseo-densification technique. Regarding insertion torque, bone-to-implant contact, and bone area fraction occupancy between counterclockwise osseodensification technique vs conventional, the mean difference was 46.79 for insertion torque, 2.17 for bone-to-implant contact, and 2.11 for bone area fraction occupancy. High heterogeneity was observed between the studies. The risk of bias in humans was moderate in three studies and low in one; and in animal studies, four presented moderate risk, two low risk, and one high risk. The certainty of evidence ranged from low to moderate. Conclusion: The osseodensification technique showed improvement concerning the resonance frequency and the insertion torque value of implants in human studies. In addition, it increased the values of bone-to-implant contact, bone area fraction occupancy, and implantstability quotient in animal studies, when compared to the conventional technique. Biosecurity research focuses on invasive species. The dissemination of biosecurity research is hampered by three major issues. First, biosecurity research is not always published and can be difficult to access. Second, biosecurity participants ask questions in different ways, with terminology varying between participants and the research literature. Third, it is difficult to identify overlaps and gaps in the research literature, partly due to access and translation issues. The Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis (CEBRA) is addressing these problems by developing The Biosecurity Risk Research Portal (Portal). In this paper, we discuss a system that extracts and transforms open-access grey literature research to meet domain-specific information needs. We discuss new controlled vocabularies that support metadata extraction. We show how controlled vocabularies and repository services may be co-developed, ensuring practitioner information needs are met responsively. The Portal connects metadata sources including government, industry and research institutions where open access to full text is available. We describe functional modules, including metadata extraction, metadata harmonisation, tagging and transformation of metadata into graph-shaped data ready for analytic applications. We introduce controlled vocabularies, including the Biosecurity Thesaurus. We discuss the inputs to new vocabularies such as corpus analysis, survey data and biosecurity frameworks. Context: Interaction design has been consolidated as a practice with potential to support interactive systems projects. Most interaction design solutions (methods, techniques, and tools) have been created to be used in environments with co-located participants. However, the number of software projects that are developed in environments with geographically distributed stakeholders has increased. Despite some research efforts, little is known about how the scientific literature has addressed interaction design in distributed software development (DSD). Objective: To provide an overview of studies that have been conducted on interaction design in DSD. Method: A systematic mapping study was conducted to identify, synthesise and analyse papers related to interaction design in DSD, and 32 papers were included and classified in relation to the research type and research topic. Results: Through the analysis of the included papers, this paper provides an overview of existing interaction design studies in the context of DSD. This paper presents an analysis of the main characteristics of interaction design in DSD, such as the level of dispersion of stakeholders, the solutions adopted (approaches, methods, techniques, tools), the involvement of end users, and the performance of designers and HCI specialists. We have identified gaps and a taxonomy of six research topics. The findings of this study also allowed us to propose an agenda for future research on distributed interaction design. Conclusion: This paper contributes to the body of knowledge of interaction design at the frontier of research between HCI and DSD by (i) providing an overview of research efforts on interaction design in DSD, (ii) presenting an overview of how interaction design has been conducted in DSD projects, and (iii) identifying research gaps and discuss future research directions emerged from the study. • Women with FMS have a major reduction in sexual function compared to healthy women. • Desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm and pain are the domains most affected by FMS. • Women with FMS have less sexual satisfaction than healthy women. Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a chronic condition that associates pain, sleep disturbances, and cognitive changes. Recent evidence shows that sexual dysfunction is also associated with fibromyalgia, further affecting patients' quality of life. Our aim was to explore the association between FMS and sexual dysfunction (SD) in women. A comprehensive search strategy was carried out, using the keywords "fibromyalgia" and "sexual dysfunction" and their synonyms. The databases used were MEDLINE, EMBASE, Scopus, Biomed Central, Web of Science, CINAHL, IBECS, LILACS, Congress Abstracts, and gray literature sources like Google Scholar. Studies published from January 1990 to August 2023 were considered, without imposing any language restrictions. The inclusion criteria involved studies that investigated individuals diagnosed with FMS and who suffered from sexual dysfunction, while studies that did not meet these criteria were excluded. The methodological quality of the included studies was assessed using the New Castle Ottawa tool. The results were presented in tables and forest graphs generated by the RevMan 5.4 software. 27 studies were included, 10 of which were case-control and 17 were cross-sectional. These studies were published between 2005 and 2023, with participants aged between 18 and 81 years. Patients with FMS performed markedly worse than healthy controls in all domains of sexual dysfunction assessed. The methodological quality of the included studies was classified as moderate to high. Compared to healthy women, the findings indicate a negative correlation between sexual dysfunction and fibromyalgia. These results underscore the significance of addressing sexual disturbances as a source of distress in the context of fibromyalgia syndrome. It becomes evident that incorporating psychological therapies that encompass emotional, physical, and sexual health could be a pivotal component in the comprehensive treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome. Purpose: Most LGBTQIA + 2 studies focus on the core sexually and gender diverse population without exploring the peripheral familial perspectives. Current research needs to explore parental experiences of parenting a LGBTQIA+2 child, since parents undergo an identity change after their child's disclosure. This parental identity change may affect parental well-being and add to the existing stress of parenting a LGBTQIA + 2 child. Methods: This paper uses the identity process theory (IPT) to review 18 studies on parental narratives to highlight the change in parental identity. Databases were searched for first-hand parenting experiences and shortlisted articles were qualitatively synthesized. Findings: We identified six main themes: I) Parental identity change is triggered by a child's disclosure. II) Parental identity change drives parental emotions that evolve from initial anger, shock, fear, concern, grief, etc. to eventual acceptance of their child. III) Parental identity and emotions change, as for any life change process, across assimilation, accommodation, adjustment, and evaluation phases of the IPT. IV) Parental identity change is motivated by continuity, coherence, self-efficacy, belongingness, distinctiveness, meaning and self-esteem principles of the IPT. V) Parental identity influences parental micro-individual, meso-interactional and macro-societal interactions of the IPT framework. VI) Parental mental well-being may be affected across the assimilation, accommodation, adjustment phases of the IPT before eventual acceptance of the child in the evaluation phase. Conclusions: Parental lived experiences require a stronger consideration today within the wider, non-white, contexts. The effect of identity change on parental mental well-being and its intergenerational effect needs to be explored within the context of the IPT. This systematic review and meta-analysis critically examined the evidence for peer support interventions to reduce pain and improve health outcomes in community-dwelling adults with chronic musculoskeletal pain (PROSPERO CRD42022356850). A systematic search (inception—January 2023) of electronic databases and grey literature was undertaken to identify relevant randomised controlled trials, with risk of bias and GRADE assessments performed on included studies. Meta-analyses used a generic, inverse-variance, random-effects model, calculating mean difference (MD) or standardised mean difference (SMD). Of 16,445 records identified, 29 records reporting on 24 studies (n = 6202 participants) were included. All evidence had unclear/high risk of bias and low-very low certainty. Peer support interventions resulted in small improvements in pain (medium-term: MD −3.48, 95% CI −6.61, −0.35; long-term: MD −1.97, 95% CI −3.53, −0.42), self-efficacy (medium-term: SMD 0.26, 95% CI 0.16, 0.36; long-term: SMD 0.21, 95% CI 0.07, 0.36), and function (long-term: SMD −0.10, 95% CI −0.19, −0.00) relative to usual care and greater self-efficacy (medium-term: SMD 0.36, 95% CI 0.20, 0.51) relative to waitlist control. Peer support interventions resulted in similar improvement as active (health professional led) interventions bar long-term self-efficacy (MD −0.41, 95% CI −0.77, −0.05), which favoured active interventions. No point estimates reached minimal clinically important difference thresholds. Pooled health service utilisation outcomes showed unclear estimates. Self-management, quality of life, and social support outcomes had mixed evidence. Despite low-very low evidence certainty, peer support interventions demonstrated small improvements over usual care and waitlist controls for some clinical outcomes, suggesting that peer support may be useful as an adjunct to other treatments for musculoskeletal pain. Diagnostic overshadowing refers to a phenomenon whereby people with mental health conditions encounter inadequate or delayed medical attention and misdiagnosis. This occurs when physical symptoms are mistakenly attributed to their mental health condition. This paper presents a scoping review focusing on direct causes and background factors of diagnostic overshadowing in the context of hepatitis C infection in people who inject drugs and have concurrent mental health conditions. Despite significant strides in hepatitis C treatment with direct‐acting antiviral drugs, the complex interplay of mental health conditions and physical symptoms necessitates a nuanced approach for accurate diagnosis and effective screening. This review was conducted using Joanna Briggs Institute's methodology for scoping reviews. The databases searched included Medline, Embase, PsycInfo, Global Health, CINAHL and Scopus. This review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA‐ScR). The search strategies identified 1995 records. Overall, 166 studies were excluded. Forty‐two (42) studies met the inclusion criteria. Three (n = 3) studies represented direct causes, and 39 (n = 39) with background factors related to diagnostic overshadowing. Studies highlighted six key themes encompassing diagnostic overshadowing, with communication barriers, stigma and knowledge deficiencies being the most prominent. Recognising and addressing diagnostic overshadowing in chronic hepatitis C will lead to increased screening, diagnosis and timely administration of life‐saving antiviral therapy, resulting in profound enhancements in well‐being and health outcomes. Background: Kangaroo care is an effective intervention to increase survival and improve the health and development of preterm infants. Despite this, implementation of kangaroo care globally remains low. The objectives of this review were to: (a) synthesize evidence on parents' and healthcare practitioners' perceptions, experiences, knowledge of, and attitudes toward kangaroo care of preterm babies in hospital settings; and (b) establish parents' satisfaction with kangaroo care. Methods: Studies of any design were included if they focused on parents' or healthcare practitioners' perceptions, experiences, knowledge of, and attitudes to kangaroo care of preterm babies, or reported parents' satisfaction, and were conducted in hospital settings. The search of seven electronic databases, African Journals Online, World Health Organization regional databases, and a gray literature search was conducted in April/May 2020, and updated in January 2024. Study selection was undertaken by two independent reviewers. Quality assessment using the Mixed Method Appraisal Tool and data extraction were completed by one reviewer with a 10% check by a second reviewer. Data were synthesized narratively using a parallel results convergent integrated design. Results: Thirty‐seven studies, 19 quantitative, 16 qualitative, and 2 mixed methods, were included. The findings suggested that while healthcare practitioners generally demonstrated knowledge about kangaroo care, there was a notable minority with insufficient understanding among those who received training. Parents' knowledge, particularly among fathers, was limited. Both healthcare practitioners and parents appeared to have positive attitudes to kangaroo care. Little is known about parental satisfaction with kangaroo care. Conclusions: Most healthcare practitioners were knowledgeable about kangaroo care, but parents had limited knowledge. This review findings suggest a need to enhance parental knowledge of kangaroo care before neonatal unit admission, and training is needed for HCPs to implement kangaroo care consistently. Context Pregnant women have physiological metabolic changes in glycemic and lipid profiles that are essential for fetal development. Objective The aim of this systematic review was to analyze the effects of fish-oil-capsule supplementation on the glycemic and lipid profiles of pregnant women. Data Sources A systematic search was conducted of the MEDLINE (by PubMed), Embase, Cochrane Library (CENTRAL) databases and gray literature, including preprints for all relevant studies published in English, with no date restrictions. Data Extraction The estimated pooled results were analyzed using a random-effects model and represented by mean differences (MDs) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs). The analyses were performed with R software, version 4.2.1, using the "Meta" packages, versions 6.0-0. Data Analysis Fifteen eligible studies were included after screening. In a pooled analysis, overall fish-oil supplementation had no effect on parameters compared with placebo. In the subgroup analysis, fish-oil supplementation may be beneficial in insulin (MD: –2.11 IU/mL; 95% CI: –3.86, –0.36) and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) (MD: –0.71; 95% CI: –1.14, –0.29) indices, with heterogeneity (I2 =0%) among pregnant women with diabetes mellitus. In the subgroup with doses of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) below 200 mg, there was a reduction in HOMA-IR in the intervention group (MD: –0.60; 95% CI: –1.14, –0.06). Conclusion Pregnant women taking fish-oil capsules showed significant beneficial changes in the subgroups of type 2 diabetes and EPA dosages below 200 mg for insulin and HOMA-IR. Evidence shows that parenting interventions are an effective method of reducing caregiver-perpetrated child maltreatment. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has changed the provision of parenting interventions worldwide, with many interventions adapting to continue providing services during the crisis. This global systematic review examined how parenting interventions targeting child maltreatment and its risk and protective factors were adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic. We searched for studies published between 2020 and 2022 and identified 31 eligible studies. The data on the rationale, process, feasibility, acceptability, and impacts of adaptations were narratively synthesized in accordance with the Framework for Reporting Adaptations and Modifications to Evidence-Based Interventions. Results showed that most adaptations were proactive and focused on delivery methods, predominantly digitalization. While feasibility and acceptability were generally observed, the impacts of adapted programs were inconclusive. Inadequate reporting, especially regarding rationale, fidelity, facilitator capacity building, stakeholder involvement, and decision-making processes, was noted. The review recommends enhanced planning, documentation, and reporting of program adaptations using established guidelines, as well as process and impact evaluations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Existing measures and theories of intimate partner coercive control largely evaluate men's coercion of women. The extent of knowledge pertaining to intimate relationships among other genders and sexual identities is unclear. Guided by a theoretical framework of intersectionality, we examined and synthesized original studies on coercive control by (perpetration) or against (victimization) Two Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual individuals within intimate partner relationships. We searched eight academic databases for records from 2014 through 2022 and hand-searched review articles' reference lists, supplemented with gray literature and website searches. Using duplicate screening, we identified 1,774 unique documents; 526 met preliminary eligibility criteria and 277 were retained for data extraction in duplicate. Coercive control was more common among minority individuals and was related to mental health challenges. Few studies reported on gender- or sexual-identity specific forms of coercive control, and an intersectional focus was uncommon. This review revealed a lack of agreed definition of coercive control or accepted standard of measurement, and a gap in research with individuals who identify as gender diverse, gender fluid or intersex, or those identifying their sexuality as asexual, pansexual, or sexually diverse. This study aimed to conduct an overview of systematic reviews in the field of violence against adults with disability. Eight electronic databases as well as gray literature from January 2022 to April 2023 were searched to identify systematic reviews that focused on violence against adults with disabilities. A total of 13 high-quality systematic reviews were included in the overview. Findings show that adults with disabilities experience a higher rate of emotional and physical violence than the general population. Sociodemographic, financial, and cultural risk factors, prevention, and treatment approaches were discussed. Although the large body of studies on disability and violence have explored different aspects of the issue, there are some limitations and gaps in the literature that need further attention. The most important gap in the literature is the lack of attention to diversity. Accordingly, there is little knowledge about disability and violence in a variety of geographical locations. In addition, studies on violence based on ethnicity/race, age, gender identifications, and some types of disabilities such as hearing impairments or severe disabilities were scarce. There is a need to reach diverse populations of adults with disabilities, through employing a variety of data collection methods and qualitative research methodology. Group‐living in animals comes with a number of benefits associated with predator avoidance, foraging, and reproduction. A large proportion of fish species display grouping behaviour. Fish may also be particularly vulnerable to climate‐related stressors including thermal variation, hypoxia, and acidification. As climate‐related stressors are expected to increase in magnitude and frequency, any effects on fish behaviour may be increased and affect the ability of fish species to cope with changing conditions. Here we conduct a systematic review of the effects of temperature, hypoxia, and acidification on individual sociability and group cohesion in shoaling and schooling fishes. Searches of the published and grey literature were carried out, and studies were included or excluded based on selection criteria. Data from studies were then included in a meta‐analysis to examine broad patterns of effects of climate‐related stressors in the literature. Evidence was found for a reduction in group cohesion at low oxygen levels, which was stronger in smaller groups. While several studies reported effects of temperature and acidification, there was no consistent effect of either stressor on sociability or cohesion. There was some evidence that marine fishes are more strongly negatively affected by acidification compared with freshwater species, but results are similarly inconsistent and more studies are required. Additional studies of two or more stressors in combination are also needed, although one study found reduced sociability following exposure to acidification and high temperatures. Overall, there is some evidence that hypoxia, and potentially other climate‐related environmental changes, impact sociability and group cohesion in fishes. This may reduce survival and adaptability in shoaling and schooling species and have further ecological implications for aquatic systems. Background: Pharmacist-led management of urinary tract infections has been introduced as a service in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States of America, New Zealand, and Australia. The management of acute uncomplicated urinary tract infections by community pharmacists has gained increasing attention as a potential avenue to alleviate the burden on primary healthcare services. Aim: The objectives of the review were to: (1) identify protocols for community pharmacist management of acute uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women aged 16–65 years; (2) outline their key components; and (3) appraise the quality of protocols. Method: A grey literature search was undertaken for protocols intended for use by community pharmacists for the management of acute uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women aged 16–65 years, met the definition of a clinical management protocol and written in English. Their quality was appraised using the Appraisal Guidelines for Research and Evaluation version II instrument. Results: Forty of the 274 records screened were included. Content analysis identified ten key components: common signs/symptoms, differential diagnosis, red flags/referral, choice of empirical antibiotic therapy, nonprescription medications, nonpharmacological/self-care advice, patient eligibility criteria, patient follow-up, dipstick testing recommendations, and recommendations on antimicrobial resistance. The lowest scoring domains in the quality assessment were 'Editorial Independence' and 'Rigour of Development'. Only four protocols were deemed high-quality. Conclusion: The review demonstrates that clinical management protocols for pharmacist-led management of urinary tract infections consist of similar recommendations, despite variation in international practice. Purpose: Through electronic health records (EHRs), musculoskeletal (MSK) therapists such as chiropractors and physical therapists, as well as occupational medicine physicians could collect data on many variables that can be traditionally challenging to collect in managing work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). The review's objectives were to explore the extent of research using EHRs in predicting outcomes of WMSDs by MSK therapists. Method: A systematic search was conducted in Medline, PubMed, CINAHL, and Embase. Grey literature was searched. 2156 unique papers were retrieved, of which 38 were included. Three themes were explored, the use of EHRs to predict outcomes to WMSDs, data sources for predicting outcomes to WMSDs, and adoption of standardised information for managing WMSDs. Results: Predicting outcomes of all MSK disorders using EHRs has been researched in 6 studies, with only 3 focusing on MSK therapists and 4 addressing WMSDs. Similar to all secondary data source research, the challenges include data quality, missing data and unstructured data. There is not yet a standardised or minimum set of data that has been defined for MSK therapists to collect when managing WMSD. Further work based on existing frameworks is required to reduce the documentation burden and increase usability. Conclusion: The review outlines the limited research on using EHRs to predict outcomes of WMSDs. It highlights the need for EHR design to address data quality issues and develop a standardised data set in occupational healthcare that includes known factors that potentially predict outcomes to help regulators, research efforts, and practitioners make better informed clinical decisions. Objective. The objective of this scoping review was to identify key characteristics of primary research studies in peer-reviewed journals about reference accuracy. Characteristics of studies include the publication year, field of study, journal name and publication year of verified references, number of references verified, reference elements examined, definition of major, intermediate, and minor errors, whether punctuation or typographical errors were counted, overall error rate, major, intermediate, and minor error rates, and most common error type. Introduction. Reference accuracy has been studied across several decades and remains a persistent issue in peer-reviewed publications. Reference accuracy is typically reported as an error rate that represents the proportion of references with at least one error. Inclusion criteria for this scoping review included primary studies published in peer-reviewed journals that verified references in articles. Methods. Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts (LISTA), Medline via EBSCOhost, and Web of Science were searched with final searches conducted in all three databases on November 26, 2022. No grey literature sources were searched given the focus of the project on peer-reviewed scholarly journals. Results. A total of 105 studies were included. The overall error rate across all studies was 32.7%. The error rates within specific fields of study were relatively similar. There is a lack of clarity about whether studies counted punctuation or typographical errors. The most common error was related to author names. Conclusions. There is a lack of studies to understand the most effective means to increase reference accuracy that are feasible to implement on a wide scale. Materials and methods: An extensive literature search among six eletronic databases and Grey Literature was used to identify systematic reviews (S) that could respond if: in individuals diagnosed with OKC (P), is there any influence of the treatment method (I/C) on the recurrence rate of the lesion (O)? After evaluating all titles and abstracts and then applying the eligibility criteria, the included studies were read in full, and data were extracted based on a standardized sheet ordered in the PICO sequence. The assessment of the quality of the systematic reviews included, was determined by AMSTAR2, and final synthesis were descriptively made based on the results and quality of the systematic reviews. Results: From a total of 19 included systematic reviews, it was observed that the most used treatment for OKC was enucleation, followed by enucleation with adjuvant techniques and marsupialization. The mean percentage of recurrence was 16,2%, and the highest OKC recurrence rate was 43.2% after simple enucleation. The use of adjuvant techniques promoted reductions in OKC recurrence rates. The overall methodological quality of systematic reviews was critically low, and this parameter demonstrate the need for more studies to facilitate the choose of the treatment. Conclusion: Despite being the most used treatment, simple enucleation is related to the highest rate of recurrence, except when performed after marsupialization/decompression. In addition, the use of adjuvant techniques has a strong impact on reducing the likelihood of recurrence. Introduction: Strengthening and reforming the urban primary healthcare (PHC) system is essential to efficiently deliver need-based healthcare services to the rapidly increasing urban poor population. Such reforms of PHC system need to emphasize the opinion of patients in co-designing services in order that delivery of services can be accessed effectively by the urban population in a timely and low-cost way. Hence, it is important to identify the preference of urban population while choosing healthcare providers. The aim of this proposed protocol is to summarize a planned systematic review of existing evidence on the attributes considered for choosing PHC providers in urban settings of low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), as classified by the World Bank. Methods and analyses: An inclusive literature search will be conducted in electronic databases including Pubmed/MEDLINE, Embase, Global Health, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Scopus. Databases will be searched from the earliest date of entry until March 30, 2024. Database search will be supplemented by manual search of citations, reference lists, and grey literature sources. Following the pre-set inclusion and exclusion criterion, two researchers will independently screen all the retrieved studies in Covidence. Any discrepancies will be resolved through a discussion between two researchers, and if disagreements persist, a third reviewer will be consulted. The methodological quality of included studies will be appraised using checklist for Conjoint Analysis studies and the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT). An Excel-based data extraction table will be developed, piloted, and refined during the review process. Preference attributes will be identified and analyzed according to their types. The systematic review will be reported according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‑Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Discussion: The identification of attributes, their influence on preference, and heterogeneity with socioeconomic characteristics of the population will help the policymakers and researchers to design targeted PHC interventions. Background: Campylobacter is known to be the leading cause of foodborne illness. Campylobacter jejuni, specifically, most commonly causes self-limiting enterocolitis, but infection can lead to extraintestinal manifestations, including rare yet severe cardiac complications, such as myocarditis and/or pericarditis. This review aims to determine whether a relationship exists between the timing of a positive stool culture and the overall clinical course in patients with Campylobacter jejuni-associated myocarditis and/or pericarditis. Methods: A systematic search was conducted using PubMed, MEDLINE, CINAHL Ultimate, Academic Search Premier, and Nursing and Allied Health Premium databases. A gray literature search was also performed. Covidence.org was used to screen, select, and extract data by two independent reviewers. Following a full-text evaluation, the quality of each study was assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklist for Case Reports. Results: The search resulted in 434 records, of which 7 case reports met the inclusion criteria, each study including one patient. The average number of days from hospital presentation to obtaining a stool sample was 1.7. The average number of days from stool culture obtainment to clinical course improvement was 3.3, with four case studies reporting a range of 2–4 days. Conclusion: This systematic review raises awareness regarding the manifestations of Campylobacter jejuni, specifically the severe cardiac symptoms that may present in young individuals. Given the significant sequelae that can develop, providers must elicit a thorough history consisting of questions related to recent travel, food consumption, and gastrointestinal symptoms, especially among young individuals presenting with cardiac complaints. Background: Anemia due to living condition disproportionally affects the global refugee children. Nutritional deficiency particularly iron deficiency is the primary causes of anemia. Hence, we conducted a systemic review and meta-analysis on the prevalence of anemia among refugee children. Methods: We searched systematically all relevant studies on the prevalence of anemia among refugee children including under the age of 18 years, which were conducted between 2009 and 2023 in English from PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Cochran library and other gray literatures such as google scholar. Two researchers independently screened articles based on their title and abstract. The Joana Brigg's Institute (JBI) checklist was used to assess the quality of studies. Random effect model was utilized to calculate the pooled estimate of anemia. Higgins I2 statistics and Egger's test were analyzed to check heterogeneity and publication bias, respectively. Subgroup analysis by continent, age group of the children and year of study was employed to identify the source of heterogeneity. Result: A total of 14 studies were included in the final meta-analysis. Most of the studies were from Asian countries followed by African countries. The pooled prevalence of anemia among global refugee children was 36.54 with (95% CI: 23.79, 49.28). There was moderate level of heterogeneity between the studies (I2 = 68.91, P<0.001). The highest pooled prevalence of anemia in refugee children was reported in African, it was 56.1%, whereas the lowest pooled prevalence of anemia was in N. America, it was 12.66%. The prevalence of anemia was highest (53.88) in studies done among under-five refugee children. Conclusion: The global prevalence of anemia among refugee children is found to be moderate public health problem. Anemia prevalence is more common in African refugee children. Aims Methods Results Conclusions The aims of this study are to determine the long‐term overall survival (OS) after surgically treated malignant struma ovarii (MSO) and to evaluate prognostic effect of adjuvant thyroid‐related therapy (ATRT) in this setting.A systematic review in compliance with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta‐Analyses standards was conducted. MEDLINE, CINAHL, CENTRAL, Scopus, trial registries, and gray literature were searched. Due to rarity of the disease, all case reports including patients with surgically treated MSO were pooled to create a single cohort which was then compared with the eligible case series. The OS and survival time were primary outcomes. The OS was determined using Kaplan–Meier survival statistics, and the predictors of OS were determined using the stepwise Cox proportional‐hazards regression model.The study included 376 patients (95 from case reports and 281 from case series). The median age was 44 years; 79% (75/95) were symptomatic. In terms of ATRT, 39% (37/95) received thyroidectomy, 28% (27/95) radioactive iodine, 28% (27/95) hormone suppression therapy, and 55% (52/95) received no therapy. Recurrence occurred in 27% (26/95) with the median time to recurrence of 4 years. The pooled OS was 91% at 10 years and 87% at 20 years. The OS was not predicted by age (p = 0.320), symptomatic status (p = 0.371), follicular histology (p = 0.934), metastatic disease (p = 0.981); omentectomy (p = 0.523), total thyroidectomy (p = 0.371), radioactive iodine therapy (p = 0.285), and thyroid hormone therapy (p = 0.994).Surgically treated MSO may have excellent long‐term prognosis with or without ATRT. It is possible that thyroid‐specific treatments in MSO constitute overtreatment, with no demonstrable survival benefit. Background: The global nursing shortage was a well-known issue before the Covid-19 pandemic, but the Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated the current nursing workforce shortage and reduced nursing retention. This systematic review aimed to explore factors affecting retention of nurses. Methods: The PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and Proquest databases were searched for relevant primary studies published on nurses retention during Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, Google Scholar was searched for retrieving more related documents that may not be indexed in other searched databases. Inclusion criteria were research articles and gray literature related to nursing retention in Covid-19 pandemic, articles published in English, access to the full-texts, and without time limitation. Both qualitative and quantitative studies focusing on factors affecting the nurses retention were included. The Joanna Briggs Institute checklists were used for assessing quality of quantitative and qualitative studies. Qualitative and thematic content analysis methods based on Braun and Clark's model were used to analyze the data. Results: Eighteen studies were identified through a systematic search of the literature. The results showed that seven factors include personal, interpersonal, organizational, social media, educational, emotional, and protective factors are the factors affect the nurses retention. Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that retention of nurse is complex and multi-factorial issue that factors from micro to macro-level affect it. Since the 1990s, Vietnam has begun prioritising preventing and combating drug-related crimes (supply reduction) and rehabilitating drug users (demand reduction). In the 2000s, harm reduction approaches in relation to drug control began to be recognised as one of Vietnam's opiate substitution therapy methods before embarking on greater drug policy reform in the early 2010s. In implementing the ideology of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the anti-narcotic police forces often apply a zero-tolerance approach to drug traffickers and identify drug users as a priority applies a zero-tolerance approach to drug traffickers and identifies drug users as a priority to send them to prison or compulsory detention centres rather than apply harm reduction as the international standard model to promote health conditions for them without detention. This study conducted a qualitative content analysis of documents by collecting and analysing grey literature on drug policy resources, combined with qualitative interviews with experts and drug policy professionals. Although Vietnam (re)states its commitment to balance the three pillars of harm minimisation in its drug policy reform, my research demonstrates that unclear provisions and blurred policies remain, and the challenges associated with scaling these approaches equally may not be feasible in reality. To do this, this study briefly explains (1) why Vietnam dominates the use of supply reduction-driven measures with 'hard strikes' for drug-related crimes, including the death penalty; (2) why Vietnam continues to use compulsory detention facilities for drug users as the main component of its demand reduction policy; and (3) why Vietnam still struggles to apply harm reduction, including in relation to policing practices. Grey literature and reference lists of included studies were searched for additional citations. Articles published in English from the database inception to February 2023 were included.We included 96 studies, of which 28.1% were published within the last 5 years. Most studies (71.9%) were conducted in the United States. Study participants were recruited mainly from community settings and English was their second language. The most common study methodologies used were cross‐sectional surveys and phenomenological interviews. Only two studies specifically focussed on individuals with prediabetes. Multiple factors, such as age, gender, country of origin and other societal, linguistic, cultural and resource barriers or facilitators, as well as patient's cultural unique experiences, were of particular significance for self‐management behaviours. Although several studies reported that culturally tailored interventions were feasible and acceptable among first‐generation immigrants living with type 2 diabetes but not prediabetes, the duration and intensity of these interventions varied.Health professionals should consider various demographic, societal, linguistic and cultural factors, such as participants' low English language proficiency, and provide appropriate support for this group to ensure better self‐management behaviours. This systematic review describes difference in patient‐relevant outcomes between comprehensive cancers (CCCs) versus non‐CCCs. Studies were identified in PubMed, Cochrane CENTRAL, Epistemonikos, and gray literature from January 2002 to May 2024. Data were extracted and appraised by two authors. Results were narratively synthesized, and meta‐analyzed where appropriate. Of 2272 records screened, 36 observational studies were included, predominantly from the United States, and focused on adults with solid cancers. Compared to non‐CCCs, studies consistently or predominantly reported superior outcomes at CCCs relating to mortality and survival, quality of peri‐ and postoperative care, rates of cancer recurrence or progression, and impact on symptoms and health‐related quality of life. Meta‐analysis showed a significantly lower overall mortality risk of 23% in CCCs compared to non‐CCCs (hazard ratio, 0.77; 95% confidence interval, 0.74–0.81, p < .001), with medium heterogeneity (I2 = 64.61%; Q‐test = 36.29, p < .01) observed between the studies. Studies reporting on health equity and costs outcomes consistently or predominantly favored non‐CCCs over CCCs. Mixed results were reported for outcomes relating to time to care, palliative and end‐of‐life care, and health care utilization. The literature reports CCCs are associated with superior outcomes in many areas, especially around mortality and survival. Greater focus is needed to explore outcomes that are important to people with cancer including health‐related quality of life, symptoms, and treatment experience, and economic evaluation. Introduction: Growth monitoring and promotion services are strategies to promote child health and reduce child mortality. Even though Ethiopia is attempting different strategies to cope with the low rate of GMP utilization, the problem is still unresolved. Objective: Determine the pooled proportion of GMP utilization and its contributing factors among children less than two years in Ethiopia. Method: The review protocol was registered with PROSPERO, number CRD42023472746. The PRISMA-2020 statement guided the conduct of this review. Electronic databases and grey literature were used. Heterogeneity was evaluated using I2. Subgroup analysis was conducted. The random effect model was used to summarize the pooled effect sizes with their respective 95% CI with STATA version 17. To test the small study effect, the funnel plot and Egger's test were applied. Result: A total of seven (7) studies with 4027 participants were considered in this meta-analysis. The pooled proportion of GMP utilization reported by seven studies was 25.71% (95%CI: 24.39, 27.04). ANC follow-up (AOR = 2.11; 95% CI: 1.47, 2.76), PNC follow-up (AOR = 1.96; 95% CI: 1.44, 2.49), counseling (AOR = 2.88; 95% CI: 2.09, 3.68), maternal education (AOR = 2.89; 95% CI: 1.66, 4.13), paternal education (AOR = 3.78; 95% CI: 2.25, 5.32), family health card (AOR = 2.31; 95% CI: 1.67, 2.96), and mothers good knowledge towards GMP (AOR = 2.90; 95% CI: 1.72, 4.07) variables were positively associated with GMP service utilization. Conclusion and recommendation: The pooled proportion of GMP remains low in Ethiopia. ANC and PNC follow-up, counseling, maternal and paternal education, family health cards, maternal knowledge towards GMP were significantly associated. Background: Early childhood caries (ECC) is a significant oral health issue affecting children under six years old. This study aimed to determine the prevalence and distribution of ECC in Nigeria through a systematic review and meta-analysis. Methods: A systematic search was conducted across multiple databases for studies on ECC prevalence in Nigeria. The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) checklist was used to assess study quality. A random-effects model was employed to calculate pooled prevalence estimates and mean dmft scores. Subgroup analyses and meta-regression were performed to explore sources of heterogeneity. Results: Twenty-three studies met the inclusion criteria, comprising 7,362 participants. The pooled ECC prevalence in Nigeria was 17% (95% CI 11–24%), with significant heterogeneity (I2 = 97%). Subgroup analyses revealed variations across geopolitical zones and study settings. The pooled mean dmft score was 0.44 (95% CI 0.24–0.74). Age group and gender showed minimal impact on ECC prevalence. Conclusion: With a 17% prevalence rate, ECC remains a significant public health concern in Nigeria. Health outcomes are influenced by social and environmental determinants of health. As places where people work, live, meet and consume, high street retail environments are influential in shaping health. In recent decades, high streets have been in decline, prompting policies to revitalise retail environments and support local businesses, particularly in European and North American countries. The aim of this scoping review was to systematically map evidence on retail environment interventions, to gain a deeper understanding of the current evidence base assessing their possible health and wellbeing impacts. The objectives were to identify different types of interventions and the outcomes they address; and the mechanism through which interventions are theorised to influence health and equity. Peer-reviewed studies were identified through academic databases (MEDLINE, Embase, EconLit, Web of Science and Social Policy and Practice) using relevant search terms. Additional (grey) literature was identified using citation scanning and online searches. Studies were eligible if they evaluated interventions with a significant focus on supporting the retail environment, reported on at least one health and wellbeing outcome and were written in English. Relevant data were extracted and presented descriptively. An interpretive approach was taken to analyse theories of change. The searches identified 53 peer-reviewed studies and nine grey literature reports. Interventions were categorised as follows: area-based initiatives, business improvement districts, business incentives, and demand-side incentives. Studies predominantly evaluated impacts on social and environmental determinants of health. Some studies measured impacts on self-rated (mental) health, physical activity and food consumption and purchasing. Studies reported evidence of both improved and worsening outcomes. Theories of change were often under-specified and reductionist, lacking a clear understanding of the complex systems in which interventions take place. Future interventions could benefit from more comprehensive theories of change that meaningfully integrate economic, and health and wellbeing outcomes. This requires intersectoral collaboration. Objectives: There is a dearth of reviews exploring rehabilitation for violence-related traumatic brain injury (TBI) despite its increasing rates and distinct risk factors and outcomes. The aim of this scoping review is to determine the extent to which rehabilitation is available to and accessed by people who sustain TBI from interpersonal violence. Method: Electronic databases (i.e., MEDLINE, Cochrane CENTRAL Register of Clinical Trials, CINAHL, APA PsycINFO, Criminal Justice Abstracts, Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts, and Proquest Nursing and Allied Health) and grey literature (i.e., relevant organizations' websites) were systematically searched for peer-reviewed articles and reports that met eligibility criteria. To be included, articles had to report primary findings on rehabilitation interventions that included individuals who sustained a TBI through interpersonal violence. Articles based on the military population were excluded. Data were synthesized through a descriptive numerical summary and qualitative content analysis. Results: Fifty-two primary research articles and five grey literature reports were included. Most (77.2%) of these articles described rehabilitation interventions that addressed TBI sequalae without consideration for violence as a mechanism of injury, beyond reporting sample characteristics. Only thirteen articles (22.4%) considered violence-related TBI by investigating the rehabilitation profile (13.8%) or designing programs specifically for survivors of violence-related TBI (8.6%). There was limited attention to social determinants of health across all studies. Conclusion: This is the first scoping review to our knowledge that explored the extent and nature of rehabilitation among persons who experience TBI through violence in civilian populations. Observational studies examining changes in serum levels of inflammatory mediators were included. Two independent reviewers selected studies, extracted data and critically appraised the included studies. Qualitative and quantitative (meta‐analysis) data synthesis methods were employed. The Newcastle–Ottawa Scale was used to assess the quality of the included studies.Sixteen studies met the inclusion criteria, of which six were included in the meta‐analysis. These studies were published between 1992 and 2024, involving a total of 596 patients (54% females) aged between 16 and 75 years. The meta‐analysis of pooled data showed a significant decrease in high‐sensitive C‐reactive protein (hs‐CRP) levels in the serum of patients with AP 6 months after treatment [2.26 ± 1.76 versus 1.28 ± 1.06 mg/L, (Z = 2.03, p = .04)] and a decrease in interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) levels 12 months after treatment [13.01 ± 5.95 versus 10.86 ± 3.52 pg/mL, (Z = 3.72, p < .01)]. What happens when the various parties involved in constructing decarbonised futures’ infrastructure diverge in their imaginaries? Much of the published research on the sociotechnical imaginaries relating to electric vehicles (EVs) describes the creation of the future of decarbonised transport as a process mired in conflict, with various interested parties represented as strenuously disagreeing in their assessment of the most efficacious solution. The aim of the article is to offer an alternative account, based upon data gathered through participant observation, interviews, and grey literature. It describes the sort of personal transportation futures currently being imagined in the United Kingdom. The focus is specifically on the installation of electric vehicle charge points. The author contrasts Whitehall’s national vision for this infrastructure with the ‘post-coalonial’ vision of officers of Durham County Council in North East England have articulated an alternative, a ‘post-coalonial’ vision, and finds that the vision of both the British civil service and Government of the United Kingdom focused on private ownership and commuting, while Durham County Council envisioned publicly accessible charge points that enabled various types of different journeys. Despite the striking differences the conclusion is that contrary to the findings of previous studies the existence of these divergent infrastructural imaginaries led not to conflict but to co-existence. Background: The enactment of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act and the wide adoption of electronic health record (EHR) systems have ushered in increasing documentation burden, frequently cited as a key factor affecting the work experience of healthcare professionals and a contributor to burnout. This systematic review aims to identify and characterize measures of documentation burden. Methods: We integrated discussions with Key Informants and a comprehensive search of the literature, including MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, and gray literature published between 2010 and 2023. Data were narratively and thematically synthesized. Results: We identified 135 articles about measuring documentation burden. We classified measures into 11 categories: overall time spent in EHR, activities related to clinical documentation, inbox management, time spent in clinical review, time spent in orders, work outside work/after hours, administrative tasks (billing and insurance related), fragmentation of workflow, measures of efficiency, EHR activity rate, and usability. The most common source of data for most measures was EHR usage logs. Direct tracking such as through time–motion analysis was fairly uncommon. Measures were developed and applied across various settings and populations, with physicians and nurses in the USA being the most frequently represented healthcare professionals. Evidence of validity of these measures was limited and incomplete. Data on the appropriateness of measures in terms of scalability, feasibility, or equity across various contexts were limited. The physician perspective was the most robustly captured and prominently focused on increased stress and burnout. Discussion: Numerous measures for documentation burden are available and have been tested in a variety of settings and contexts. However, most are one-dimensional, do not capture various domains of this construct, and lack robust validity evidence. Food is Medicine (FIM) programs to improve the accessibility of fruits and vegetables (FVs) or other healthy foods among patients with low income and diet-related chronic diseases are promising to improve food and nutrition security in the United States (US). However, FIM programs are relatively new and implementation guidance for healthcare settings using an implementation science lens is lacking. We used a narrative review to describe the evidence base on barriers and facilitators to FIM program integration in US healthcare settings following the Exploration, Preparation, Implementation, and Sustainment (EPIS) Framework. Evidence surrounding the EPIS Inner Context was a focus, including constructs Leadership, Organizational Characteristics, Quality and Fidelity Monitoring and Support, Organizational Staffing Processes, and Individual Characteristics. Peer-reviewed and grey literature about barriers and facilitators to FIM programs were of interest, defined as programs that screen and refer eligible patients with diet-related chronic disease experiencing food insecurity to healthy, unprepared foods. Thirty-one sources were included in the narrative review, including 22 peer-reviewed articles, four reports, four toolkits, and one thesis. Twenty-eight sources (90%) described EPIS Inner Context facilitators and 26 sources (84%) described FIM program barriers. The most common barriers and facilitators to FIM programs were regarding Quality and Fidelity Monitoring and Support (e.g., use of electronic medical records for tracking and evaluation, strategies to support implementation) and Organizational Staffing Processes (e.g., clear delineation of staff roles and capacity); although, barriers and facilitators to FIM programs were identified among all EPIS Inner Context constructs. We synthesized barriers and facilitators to create an EPIS-informed implementation checklist for healthcare settings for use among healthcare organizations/providers, partner organizations, and technical assistance personnel. We discuss future directions to align FIM efforts with implementation science terminology and theories, models, and frameworks to improve the implementation evidence base and support FIM researchers and practitioners. Objective: This scoping review explores the existing literature related to post-pandemic face-to-face learning environments for undergraduate students following their participation in virtual classes during the Covid-19 pandemic. The secondary objectives are focused to identify the cognitive; emotional, or communicative demands that characterize students; changes in pedagogical strategies; and primary recommendations regarding post-pandemic face-to-face education in the context of Covid-19. Introduction: The global emergency created by the presence of COVID-19 has led to significant change in the daily lives of people worldwide, ranging from lockdowns to the proliferation of virtual channels for social interaction and learning. Interest in its effects remains relevant in various fields including social, economic, health, technological, and educational studies. The transition back to face-to-face studies in university settings requires new adjustment processes for both students and teachers, necessitating pedagogical transformations and addressing cognitive, emotional, communicative, and habituation demands. Studies on the return to face-to-face studies in university settings are relatively scarce and warrant in-depth research. Inclusion criteria: This review will include studies completed and published in calendar years 2022 and 2024 that involve post-pandemic face-to-face learning environments for undergraduate students from any geographical area. Methodology: This scoping review will follow the JBI methodology for conducting scoping reviews. An international medical graduate (IMG) is a doctor who has received their basic medical qualification from a medical school located in a different country from that in which they practice or intend to practice. IMGs are known to face difficulties in their working lives, including differential attainment in assessment. The objective of this review is to map key concepts and types of evidence in academic and gray literature relating to international medical graduates' experiences of clinical competency assessment and to identify knowledge gaps on this topic by systematically searching, selecting, and synthesizing existing knowledge. All studies will relate to IMGs. The concept of interest will be IMGs' experiences of assessment. The context will be postgraduate, licensing or credentialing medical assessments of clinical competence. This review will be conducted in accordance with the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology for scoping reviews. Seven electronic databases will be searched for literature published between 2009 and 2024: the Australian Education Index, British Education Index, ERIC, PubMed, PsycINFO, Scopus, and SocINDEX. This review aimed to determine whether photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) is a safe and effective alternative for treating and preventing OM in children. The database search was carried out on PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane. Gray literature was also consulted through Google Scholar. Among 20 studies included, no adverse effect was reported, and only one study did not show any evidence of benefit from the use of PBMT. The analgesic effect of PBMT was emphasized and its action in accelerating the healing process and reducing the severity, duration and even incidence of OM was also noted. Evidence was found to encourage the use of PBMT to treat OM in pediatric patients. Higher quality studies must be developed in order to clarify the PBMT prophylactic effect and the best protocols for each clinical situation. The aim of this scoping review was to investigate specific reporting of user experience, user centred design principles, and normative data in the development of pharyngeal residue rating scales.A scoping review was conducted across four electronic databases inclusive of all dates until June 2024. Grey literature searching occurred in March–April 2023 and was repeated in June 2024. This review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) protocol. Titles/abstracts, full texts, and data extraction were reviewed by two independent reviewers.A total of 22 sources were included, with 18 unique pharyngeal residue rating scales identified. Two studies referred to user experience, seven included at least one user centred design principle, and four studies reported on normative data.The findings of this review highlight few pharyngeal residue rating scales include the experience of the intended user and establish normative data in the initial development phase. The COVID‐19 pandemic led to an unprecedented global moment when the core needs of children and young people (rights for education, food, play and leisure) were not adequately addressed, recognised from a policy perspective and to varying extents, ignored. This paper, by bringing scholarship and grey literature together, provides an integrative, international, comprehensive review and analysis of how the pandemic affected children's core needs (and rights) simultaneously. It also reviews and compares adaptations—often local, informal and/or community‐led—that attempted to respond to the shortcomings and negative impacts of more formal policy measures, including lockdowns themselves. By doing so, it engages with the question of resilience and calls for children and young people's needs and voices to be heard in the future, particularly considering future forms of crisis‐preparedness that can better account for children and young people's needs. ABSTRACT Rationale Aims and Objectives Methods Results Conclusion Awareness of their standing relative to best practices motivates primary healthcare (PHC) teams to improve their practices. However, gathering the data necessary to create such a portrait is a challenge. An effective way to support the improvement of the practices of PHC teams is to simplify the availability of data portraying aspects of their practices that might need improvement. Timely access is one of the foremost challenges of PHC. Yet, very few tools supporting reflections on the implementation of best practices to improve access are available to PHC teams.To develop an online reflective tool that evaluates the state of a PHC team member's advanced access practice and formulates customized recommendations for improvement.This sequential multimethod study was informed by a literature review and an expert panel composed of researchers, patients, provincial and local decision‐makers, and PHC clinical and administrative staff in the province of Quebec, Canada. Consensus was reached on the content of the questionnaire and the prioritization of the recommendations.No reflective tool on advanced access practices was found in the literature review. Grey literature was used to create an initial version of the questionnaire. This version was revised and enriched through consultation phases with the expert panel. Then, five iterations of the tool were tested with 169 PHC team members, which led to the conception of two distinct versions: one for clinical staff and one for administrative agents responsible for appointment booking. The final versions of the reflective tool are available online in both English and French.This reflective tool provides a portrait of PHC team members' advanced access practices as well as an automated report that contains personalized and prioritized recommendations for improvement. South Africa has progressively established good healthcare policies and actively promotes the rights of people with disabilities. However, as the healthcare sector is moving towards value‐based care to achieve universal health coverage, it remains unclear whether South African rehabilitation policies provide sufficient guidance for delivering value‐based rehabilitation services for people with disabilities. This article attempts to ascertain whether the content of South African rehabilitation policies is aligned with value‐based care. Rehabilitation policies were identified through a literature search (including grey literature) and discussions with stakeholders in the health policy field. A framework for value‐based care was created for deductive policy content analysis. A qualitative descriptive approach was used to describe the content that correlates with the framework's components. The National Rehabilitation Policy and the Framework and Strategy for Disability and Rehabilitation Services were included in this study. Both documents aligned with the value‐based framework, however, various barriers in South Africa challenge value‐based rehabilitation services. We conclude that South Africa's rehabilitation policies can guide value‐based rehabilitation services. However, these policies need to be operationalized and supported by empirical data on disability and rehabilitation services. Well-being has been touted for many years as a critical factor in achieving positive outcomes for students in schools across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and globally. Despite extensive reporting of student well-being concerns, further research is needed to fully understand this complex construct. This paper presents a scoping review aimed at developing a comprehensive understanding of student well-being by examining key factors highlighted in the literature. Using the PRISMA-ScR approach, a search was conducted using Google Scholar to identify studies published between 2010 and 2023 that focus on student well-being in Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand school contexts. Additional relevant grey literature, including policy documents, contributed to this review. A total of 46 studies met the eligibility criteria for more detailed analysis. The review identified three primary themes influencing student well-being: the role of student voice, the impact of the physical environment (which we call perivallon), and the nature of student relationships with teachers, peers, and themselves. These factors were found to be interrelated, with relationships serving as both an independent influence and a mediating factor affecting the other dimensions. The literature review leads to a multi-dimensional complexity model of well-being. This model suggests potential mechanisms by which a small change to an external factor can have far reaching, and potentially unexpected, impacts on student well-being. Bycatch is the most significant threat to marine mammals globally. There are increasing requirements for national governments to fulfil their obligations to international agreements and treaties to assess fisheries catch and bycatch of non-target species. Questionnaire surveys represent one low-cost method to collect data to estimate fisheries catch and bycatch of vulnerable species including marine mammals. Questionnaire surveys can be particularly advantageous when bycatch is being investigated on large spatial and temporal scales, or in data-poor areas. This review aims to provide the necessary guidance required to design and conduct questionnaire studies investigating marine mammal bycatch. To do so, a systematic review was conducted of the methods used in 91 peer-reviewed or grey literature questionnaire studies from 1990 to 2023 investigating marine mammal bycatch. Literature was searched, screened, and analysed following the RepOrting standards for Systematic Evidence Syntheses (ROSES) protocols. A narrative synthesis and critical evaluation of the methods used were conducted and best practice recommendations are proposed. The recommendations include suggestions for how to generate representative samples, the steps that should be followed when designing a questionnaire instrument, how to collect reliable data, how to reduce under-reporting and interviewer bias, and how weighting or model-based bycatch estimation techniques can be used to reduce sampling bias. The review's guidance and best practice recommendations provide much-needed resources to develop and employ questionnaire studies that produce robust bycatch estimates for marine mammal populations where they are currently missing. Recommendations can be used by scientists and decision-makers across the globe. Whilst the focus of this review is on using questionnaires to investigate marine mammal bycatch, the information and recommendations will also be useful for those investigating bycatch of any other non-target species. It is estimated that disruptions to life caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have led to an increase in the number of children and young people suffering from mental health issues globally. In England one in four children experienced poor mental health in 2022. Social prescribing is gaining traction as a systems-based approach, which builds upon person-centered methods, to refer children and young people with non-clinical mental health issues to appropriate community assets. Recognition of social prescribing benefits for children's mental health is increasing, yet evidence is limited. Inconsistent terminology and variation of terms used to describe social prescribing practices across the literature hinders understanding and assessment of social prescribing's impact on children's mental health. This scoping review thus aims to systematically identify and analyse the various terms, concepts and language used to describe social prescribing with children and young people across the wider health and social care literature base. The scoping review will be undertaken using a six-stage framework which includes: identifying the research question, identifying relevant studies, study selection, charting the data, collating, summarising and reporting the results, and consultation. Electronic databases (MEDLINE, Embase, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health, PsychInfo, Social Policy Practice, Scopus, Science Direct, Cochrane library and Joanna Briggs), alongside evidence from grey literature, hand search, citation tracking, and use of expert correspondence will be included in the review to ensure published and unpublished literature is captured. Data extraction will be carried out by two reviewers using a predefined form to capture study characteristics, intervention descriptions, outcomes, and key terms used to report social prescribing for children and young people. No formal quality appraisal or risk of bias evaluation will be performed, as this scoping review aims to map and describe the literature. However, few reviews have examined the effectiveness of such interventions, making it difficult to draw conclusions about their usefulness. Furthermore, subgroup analysis based on post‐stroke pain level or intervention characteristics is rarely performed. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of non‐pharmacological interventions and evaluate the significant factors associated with post‐stroke pain through subgroup analysis.Systematic review and meta‐analysis.Relevant studies were obtained from seven databases, from their commencement up to March 2024, as well as from the gray literature. The PICOS approach was used to evaluate the eligibility criteria of the studies. The RoB‐2 tool was used to determine the risk of bias in each randomized trial. Pooled estimations of standardized mean difference and heterogeneity (quantified with I2) were obtained using a random‐effects model. The stability of the pooled result was then assessed using the leave‐one‐out approach. STATA 17.0 was used to run the meta‐analysis.Non‐pharmacological interventions were effective in reducing pain immediately after intervention (pooled SMDs: −0.79; 95% confidence interval [CI]: −1.06 to −0.53; p < 0.001). The approach involving acupuncture, aquatic therapy, or laser therapy and rehabilitation training was effective for post‐stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain. A pooled analysis of non‐pharmacological interventions showed that both less than 4 weeks and more than 4 weeks of interventions were effective in alleviating pain in stroke patients.Non‐pharmacological approaches appear to be beneficial for reducing post‐stroke pain. The outcomes based on the modalities merit further research.Further studies are needed to determine the effects of different modalities on pain intensity following a stroke. Aim: This paper presents a case study review of an Australian research partnership between an independent mental health lived experience-led research network and an academic organisation established for the research and treatment of disorders of the brain and mind. The aim of the study was to explore the principles and practical requirements needed for a successful partnership that promotes inclusive research practices and power sharing and provide a framework to improve the operationalization of future similar partnerships. Methods: This study was led and conducted by lived experience researchers. We used a mixed-method approach to data collection for data triangulation. An environmental scan of peer-reviewed and grey literature on mental health research partnerships was conducted, followed by a three-part data collection with members of both organisations. Data collection comprised an online survey, in-depth interviews, and a roundtable discussion to integrate findings and formulate recommendations. Results and Conclusion: This case study explores and describes a missed opportunity of a consumer led mental health research organisation to work successfully with an established mental health research organisation. Poor communication and unclear processes led to unmet expectations on both sides. Findings suggest the use of reflective practice by team members of both partner organisations may have been helpful in identifying further improvements to inclusive research practice, empowering consumers in inclusive mental health research. Plain English summary: Background: Involving people in research who have used mental health services improves research outcomes. The Consumer Led Research Network (CLRN) was formed to progress this in Australia and entered into a partnership with the Brain and Mind Centre (BMC), a large, established, research centre. A short, written agreement was made to guide the partnership. Aim: This study explored the principles and practices used to work together. The paper suggests a framework to guide similar work. Methods: Independent consumer researchers worked with CLRN and BMC to carry out the study. People from both groups took part in a survey and individual interviews. The findings of the survey and interviews were analysed and discussed at a group meeting. Results and Conclusion: The study found that the partnership was not well set up to allow success. Background: Older adults often experience adverse health outcomes including malnutrition following discharge from emergency departments (ED). Discharge to community care is a transitionary time where nutritional vulnerability could be mitigated with the instigation of targeted nutrition care pathways in ED settings. Aims and objectives: This scoping review aimed to establish and describe the level of nutrition care provided to older adults admitted and subsequently discharged from EDs. Research design: Systematic searches of nine academic and grey literature databases (Medline (Ovid), Pubmed, CINAHL Complete (EBSCOhost), EMBASE, Cochrane Library and Scopus), grey literature sources (DART-Europe E-theses portal, Open Grey, and Trip Medical database) and four websites (Google, Google Scholar, NICE and LENUS) for relevant professional and organisational publications of research, policy, practice, and guidelines between January 2011 to 2023 were completed. Eligible studies included a population of older adults (≥ 65 years) with an ED attendance and subsequent community discharge, and where nutrition screening had identified malnutrition. Data were extracted on the level of nutrition and dietetic care initiated for older adults in the ED according to the Nutrition Care Process Model and summarised descriptively. Results: Overall, 22 studies were included in the review. Nutrition status was screened on admission to the ED using validated tools: Mini Nutritional Assessment-Short Form (n = 13), Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (n = 2), Short Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (n = 2), NRS-2002 (n = 1) and the Mini Nutritional Assessment – Full Form (n = 1). A full nutrition assessment was reported by 5 studies. Only one study referred to documentation of malnutrition in healthcare records. Subsequent nutrition intervention after discharge from the ED for older adults was not described in any study. Conclusion: While there is evidence to support malnutrition screening is taking place in EDs, there is a lack of information about subsequent nutrition care including assessment and therapy interventions. This points to the need for comprehensive exploration of nutrition care pathways, practice, policy, and research to inform models of integrated care for older persons. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
