Perovskite has attracted a lot of attention in the area of present-day environmental catalysis because of its cheap cost, excellent stability, great catalytic activity, varied structure, and significant transformation flexibility. In order to remove organic contaminants from wastewater, researchers have been experimenting with combining perovskite catalysts with advanced oxidation processes (AOPs). Herein present study, LaCoO3 was synthesized and calcined at 450, 650, and 850 °C (LC450, LC650, and LC850), and the connections between their surface features and crystalline assembly to catalytic performance were thoroughly explored to activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) in order to degrade aqueous organic contaminants. Further, the catalysts were characterized by XRD, FTIR, FSEM, and TEM, and their catalytic efficiency was investigated. The Co-O bond length is recommended as a biomarker for PMS activation because it strongly influences the Co2+/Co3+ redox capability, regulating the total PMS activation. LC850/PMS has demonstrated the highest degradation efficiency (79%), with kapp value 0.102 min−1. Since traditional wastewater treatment techniques only partially remove antibiotics like metronidazole (MTZ), the rising use of these drugs causes their entry into wastewater and receiving surface waterways. A flexible method that may effectively degrade such organic pollutants is adsorption assisted photocatalytic degradation. Herein, an easy mixing-and-heating procedure was used to synthesize visible light-induced g-C3N4/Co3O4 heterojunction photocatalysts. The structural properties and morphology of as-prepared materials were measured using characterization techniques such as FTIR, FSEM, and XRD analysis. The as-prepared catalyst has demonstrated a remarkable adoption and photocatalytic performance in degrading MTZ. It was found that 0.2 weight percent of Co3O4 was the optimum amount for achieving the best photocatalytic efficiency. A key factor in boosting photo-generated carrier separation is the synergistic interaction between g-C3N4 and Co3O4. The kinetics study of MTZ adsorption and degradation as well as factors effecting such as pH (2-10) and catalyst dosage process were investigated. The functional treatment method attained 78% degradation of MTZ under the following general conditions: pH = 6, g-C3N4/Co3O4 = 0.04 g/L, and reaction time = 200 min and MTZ concentration = 20 mg/L. A possible mechanism for the photocatalytic degradation was introduced, wherein O 2 • − was found to be the leading radical, whereas h + and H O • radicals contribute moderately to the degradation process. Functionally modified coated capillary is essential for reducing the nonspecific interaction between samples and analytical instruments and improving detection sensitivity and analytical efficiency. Here, we used perfluorooctanoic acid and diazo resin as raw materials, and bonded them to the inner wall of the capillary through the electrostatic interaction of the coupling agent to construct a self-assembled coating tube with anti-fouling properties. The dynamic adsorption test of fluorescent protein confirmed that the coating had obvious anti-protein adsorption effect. The coating was used for capillary electrophoresis (CE) analysis of four mixed protein standard samples and egg white samples. A short chain antimicrobial peptide SFPAS was screened by cell membrane chromatography combined with one bead and one object method. The membrane chromatographic fillers with particle size of about 2 μm were prepared. Through field emission scanning electron microscope observation, we could see the successful preparation of membrane chromatographic packing. Then, the antibacterial activity of antimicrobial peptides was tested, and it was found that the selected antimicrobial peptides had obvious antibacterial activity and could effectively kill Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Because of the problem of the proliferation of drug-resistant pathogenic bacteria caused by antibiotics in recent year, we designed an antimicrobial peptide chain and successfully synthesized a new antimicrobial peptide chain by one-strain-one-product method. Recently, hollow structures have attracted much attention due to their high specific surface area, clear interior space, low density and good permeability. Among them, manganese dioxide (MnO2) hollow structure has also been widely studied for catalysis, drug delivery and energy storage. Based on the characteristics of low pH and high GSH concentration in tumor microenvironment, it is possible to develop an intelligent drug delivery system with pH/GSH response based on hollow mesoporous MnO2 nanospheres. In addition, the excellent physical and chemical properties of MnO2 nanomaterials provide conditions for its synergistic photothermal therapy. For example, Mn2+ released after manganese dioxide reacts with GSH can enhance T1-MAGNETIC resonance (MR) imaging. Meanwhile, manganese dioxide can also react with H2O2 in tumor microenvironment to release oxygen and alleviate tumor hypoxia. In order to prevent drug loss during delivery, a GSH-responsive hollow mesoporous manganese dioxide microsphere was selected as the drug carrier in this paper, and a series of studies were carried out on the performance of the carrier. Hollow mesoporous MnO2 nanospheres with particle size below 100 nm were prepared by hydrothermal method, and their response to tumor microenvironment was simulated in vitro. It has been proved that hollow mesoporous MnO2 nanospheres can be desorbed at low pH and GSH response, and can be used to deliver drugs or photothermal agents, as well as for collaborative cancer imaging and treatment.
