The value of use is a specific notion but of a great generality that makes the product be regarded as a complex system that transforms itself in time, thus undergoing evolution. Therefore, the product is important not in itself, but for the sake of the requirements it satisfies and for the functions it provides. In the analysis of value there are connections of a technical nature that implicitly lead to connections of an economic nature. Thus, the method of the ”analysis of value” will actually examine the cost of product functions, the aim of the method being the balance of functions costs on the basis of their importance for the product. Identifying the functions represents one of the important stages of the analysis of value. The difficulty in fixing the functions derives from the fact that there are not any rules clear enough for this activity, but only principles

- Abstract
The objective of this research was to estimate the willingness to pay for tourist services in Los Mármoles National Park in Hidalgo State data in order to improve decision-making for both, residents and managers. The contingent valuation method was used to estimate the benefits obtained of improvements in four areas of intervention. Key stakeholders were interviewed, diagnostic workshops were organized. Furthermore, 141 tourists in 2016 and 2017 were interviewed. Based on the estimated willingness to pay, it is proposed an entrance fee to the park estimated in $1.72 USD per person. This represents an annual recreational use value in the site of $ 8 665 USD. According to the binomial logit model, the variables that influence the decision of the interviewees are: entrance fee, income level, educational level and number of companions.

The careful work of Alfred Schmidt regarding the concept of nature in Marx is already a sample of critical Marxism. If Marxism, as it has been seen, were to represent a discourse that sees nature and society as entities guided exclusively by instrumental reason, then Marxism would remain below its revolutionary statements and be only a conservative and even reactionary way of thinking. Alfred Schmidt's intention goes beyond an orthodox Marxism that follows the theoretical line of the bourgeois experience. As in the works of ike Gyórgy Lukács, Schmidt shows that commodities are the cells of bourgeois society; nevertheless, Schmidt demonstrates that, during the process of work, society and nature are engaged in a constant organic exchange {Stoffwechsel). Consequently, fetichization is not only a problem of work or consumer relations, it harks back to the situation of the historic human being as a social and natural agent. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PLANT conservation , *COMMUNITY involvement , *REGRESSION analysis , *TECHNICAL specifications - Abstract
Useful indicators for identification of plant species of importance to conservation were identified with the participation of informants from the town of Temimilcingo. The inhabitants of this central Mexican indigenous community use resources from the dry-deciduous forest within the Sierra de Monte Negro State Reserve. Semi-structured interviews and workshops were used, indicators and criteria were established, and local dimensions were identified. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were employed. The cultural dominance in criteria and indicators was calculated and submitted to descriptive and multivariate analysis. Twenty-four indicators, nine criteria and five dimensions related to ecology, trade, use, categories of use (food, fuel, etc.), medicinal use (e.g. treat respiratory or digestive illness), and perceptions were identified. Indicators of Destructive Use and Scarcity were common among species, while the influence of Medicinal Use and its Perception varied. Indicators were connected to kinship, distribution of activities according to gender, level of interaction with external society and level of knowledge of plants. Some local indicators and scientific conservation indicators coincided. During the selection of species of importance to conservation, it should be possible to incorporate non-scientific indicators of Medicinal Use and Perception with scientific indicators. This allows for local participation in efforts toward sustainable development. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Based on a national, bureaucratic and subordinate capitalist state, the idea of patrimony, which guides quite a few of the policies and projects in cultural management in Mexico, is functional to hegemony and the market standards. This paper discusses that building democracy and an alternative nation involves analyzing the scope and potential of cultural management. The first step is deconstructing the category of patrimony itself, which in its complex historical articulation implies social, political and economical determinations, that often remain invisible and on the sidelines in the debates on the subject.

The paper objective is to present the descriptive bibliometric study of the Customer Value academic discourse within the Management Sciences. As the literature shows it, academic research on the concept of the VC grows quickly; and yet, a single global approach is still missing, giving place to a multi-paradigmatic vision, with a frequently existing confusion among several divergent paradigms and the various approaches. In order to verify and illustrate such a dispersion of the conceptions of Customer Value, a quantitative and qualitative bibliometric study has been realised. The representative sample of 384 scholarly journals article records on “Customer Value” or “Consumer Value” (BSP database, 1900-2006) is analysed quantitatively (descriptive statistics) and qualitatively (Titles and keywords semantic contents analysis), providing a global picture of the research trends on Customer Value within the Management Sciences

This research is based on a longitudinal in vivo observation setup in a connected home inhabited by two students, aiming to comprehend the value of time and the relationship with connected objects. Porosities as well as specificities between productive time and unproductive time, personal time and social time, are highlighted through an empirico-deductive approach grounded in qualitative fieldwork involving interaction with the occupants (life stories, interviews, diaries, and newsletters). Whether it's the time spent for oneself, gaining time, or being in a productive mode, these usages have been observed. Thus, the motivation to inhabit the space and to use connected objects converge towards a common goal : well-being. A personal redefinition of connected time and what matters to oneself proves essential for a better understanding of the relationship between connected time and the value of objects in a connected environment.

International audience; Enterprise development support service takes different forms of the assistance to SME creation and development. Surprisingly, regardless the reduced tariff (Costs) / service quality augmenting efforts (Benefits) proposed by agencies, there are numerous cases when the SMEs’ demand for and their engagement in the proposed support services keep low or even absent. Why would SMEs underestimate the Value of the support service? What factors enter into the deal? We propose to investigate these questions in the light of the flows of knowledge / inter organisational learning that intervenes during the Support service transaction. Effectively, due to the knowledge-based structural and interactive nature of the support service transaction, we defend the idea that it would be pertinent to analyse it from perspective of the Consumer Behaviour theories (particularly, the models of the Perceived Value - viewed as object of knowledge), combined with the Inter organisational Learning theories (inspired by the models developed in the frame of strategic alliances domain - knowledge flow model of 3 Loops). To provide some conceptual propositions in this regard, we base on hybrid exploration on Customer Perceived Value (viewed as object of knowledge) and the Inter Organisational Learning (knowledge flow model of 3 Loops). The 3Loops approach outlines the different causes of the inter-organisational learning failure within the SME Support system in terms of the knowledge of « [Support service] Value » (and even further “Support service Need”). Two research fields’ advancements are thus integrated at the service of the projective finality of the SME support success.
