Solving the task of forming a digital trust environment requires a theoretical study of conceptual issues of implementing constituent mechanisms, legal aspects and systematization of approaches to ensuring it. The article examines the transformation of the concept of «trust» in the conditions of digitalization. The significance of trust for the functioning of a digital environment, organization of interaction in modern conditions is considered. The article analyzes legal issues of trust mechanisms implementation and trends in legislative activity, identifies key directions of trust stimulation, development vectors, and sectoral approaches. Research purposes: to analyze and systematize information and legal approaches to the formation of trust in the digital environment. Research methods: dialectics, generalization and system analysis of public relations related to the problems of interaction in the digital environment, legal modeling. The article analyzes and structures the key elements and principles of trust implementation in the digital environment, proposes a conceptual approach to the formation of its structure.

Background: Human biobanks are an essential resource for contemporary medical research, crucial in treating and preventing human diseases and improving health. Public trust in human biobanks is a vital social prerequisite for their continued operation and related research. Methods: Drawing on the "leap of faith" theory proposed by Georg Simmel and Guido Möllering, this paper first examines the relationship between public trust and human biobanks and the process through which such trust is established. Subsequently, based on the results of this analysis, targeted policy recommendations are put forward to consolidate or enhance public trust in human biobanks. Results: Public trust in human biobanks stems from certain "good reasons," through which uncertainty and vulnerability are "suspended" by faith, leading to a leap toward the "land of expectations." In this progress, the critical factors in building and enhancing public trust in human biobanks are the public's propensity to trust, the inherent trustworthiness of human biobanks, and the security and interactivity of the trust environment. Conclusion: Public trust in human biobanks cannot be determined by any universal formula, as it is influenced by many factors, including intangible elements such as faith that defy empirical understanding. Nonetheless, public trust in human biobanks can be enhanced through measures such as fostering the public's propensity to trust, enhancing the inherent trustworthiness of human biobanks, establishing structural safeguards for the trust environment through ethical norms, systems, and supervision, and promoting public participation. In order to work out the optimum approach to designing methodology for assessing digital maturity of state finance control (SFC) bodied in the Donetsk Republic the authors researched current approaches and identified their advantages and drawbacks. The article provides the concept of assessing digital maturity of SFC bodies in the Donetsk Republic in the form of the integral model, whose key components are stages of digital maturity, lines of digital transformation and steps of their implementation. Algorithm of integral index was formalized. The proposed methodological approach gives an opportunity to modify the number of particular indices depending on available statistic base; to apply both external and internal sources for calculations; to take into account context factors that could provide appraisal adaptation and regard to risks and susceptibility of SFC bodies to changing conditions; to identify critical spheres; to research evolution of the development of priority lines in digital transformation; to study index dynamics and to take into consideration the degree of importance stages in conducting digital transformation in managerial cycle.

Using data on Chinese firms from 2004 to 2019, this study reveals a positive association between alcohol culture and corporate risk-taking. The positive relationship is robust across different measures of risk-taking, estimation methods, and after considering potential sample selection and endogeneity issues. Two mechanisms emerge behind this positive relationship: social networks and trustful social environments; these mediating variables explain corporate risk-taking well. In addition, stronger formal institutions (market development, government efficiency, and the legal environment) and religion weaken the positive effects of alcohol culture on risk-taking. Meanwhile, these positive effects are positively moderated by collectivism and language diversity. Finally, influenced by alcohol culture, CEOs play an essential role in risk-taking.
