This study aimed to collect data on the status of Bachelor of Science in Criminology graduates over the past ten years through a descriptive study by using a validated survey questionnaire. The respondents of this were the 252 graduates. Total enumeration was utilized in getting the desired sample of the population. The research was conducted at Lebak, Sultan Kudarat precisely at Notre Dame of Salaman College, Inc. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were formulated: Majority of the graduates were male and in terms of age, civil status, majority were married and were 23 y.o. and below. In connection with the highest educational attainment, majority were criminology graduates. For their present employment status and initial monthly income gross, majority were regular and earned P25, 000 and above. Majority had human relation skills. The most graduates who passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination was in 2019 out of all the years from 2010 to 2020. According to their current job status, the largest percentage of employed graduates was from 2019. Only 5 of those who proceeded to advanced studies. From 2010 to 2020, the number of graduates working in their field of choice were employed as criminologists; the highest number of these graduates working in their field were those who graduated in 2019. In recognition of the critical role of residency programs in narrowing healthcare inequalities, Global Health scholarships were introduced at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) in 2011. Since then, at least 154 postgraduate students in priority programs have benefited. We conducted an online cross-sectional survey to examine how the scholarships and beneficiaries have impacted MUST and the community. Fifty (50) beneficiaries, representing 32.5%, responded, of whom 36 (72%) were alumni. Most respondents were males (n = 30; 60%) pursing Master of Medicine (n = 29; 58%) or Master of Nursing Science (n = 20; 40%) programs. The scholarship schemes included First Mile (n = 29; 58%), Kayanja (n = 12; 24%), Paiko (n = 5; 10%) and Seed (n = 4; 8%). The majority of the scholarships supported both tuition and research fees (n = 41; 82%), the rest being partial. Career advancement was undertaken by eight (16%) of the scholars in the form of fellowships (n = 3; 6%), other masters (n = 3; 6%) and PhDs (n = 3; 6%), with some students having attained a combination of these. All scholars belonged to at least one health professional association. Over 88% (n = 32) of the alumni and 28% (n = 4) of the students were employed. The majority of those employed were in the public sector (n = 24; 66.7%), mainly the health sector (n = 18; 50%), academia (n = 14; 38.9) or both (n = 4; 11.1%). There was a high impact on health care provision, undergraduate training and research carried out by the scholars both during training and post-graduation. High levels of career satisfaction, scholarship impact and academic program relevance were reported. The findings provide insights on how low-fund specialty scholarships can have a far-reaching impact on local training, health care and research in low- and middle-income countries.

Tracer study is one of the continuous quality improvement tools for curriculum development. The graduates are invited to answer the tracer form to determine their employability. Since the Manufacturing Engineering program in Bulacan State University (BuLSU) is the youngest engineering program, there is minimal data on graduates available, especially on the details of their first jobs, such as the first job related to the program, time taken to land their first job, gross monthly salary, and learning competencies. The demographic profile of the manufacturing engineering graduates from 2015 to 2019 is preserved and remains strictly confidential for the safety of their identification. Correspondingly, the study applied a cross-sectional retrospective survey method. Moreover, 67.41% of manufacturing engineering graduates responded. The employment rate of manufacturing engineering graduates was 93.38%, whereas regular or permanent in their current employment was 84.40%. Furthermore, data show that they are employed within less than a month, 50.97% of responses. Lastly, the primary learning competency that manufacturing engineering graduates consider is critical thinking skills, with a response rate of 86.11%, followed by problem-solving skills, with 81.94% responses, while third was communication skills, with a rate of 78.08%. The study delves into the impact and effectiveness of the Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) by examining the experiences and perspectives of graduates from select public secondary schools in Caraga Region – XIII. The primary aims include profiling the pioneering SPJ graduates, assessing the development of their journalistic skills, and evaluating the benefits derived from completing the program. Utilizing a tracer study approach, data was collected through surveys and thematic analysis to capture the graduates' feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of the SPJ curriculum, particularly focusing on the availability of journalism facilities and technological resources. Results revealed that while graduates acknowledged the program's strengths in enhancing writing, speaking, and lay-outing skills, they also highlighted deficiencies in access to essential tools like speech laboratories and digital cameras. The study concludes that improving journalism facilities is crucial for enhancing the program's effectiveness and ensuring graduates are well-equipped for journalism careers. Additionally, establishing a monitoring and evaluation tool is recommended to track the long-term impact of the SPJ program on graduates' professional trajectories.

This study delves into the perspectives of Haramaya University (HU) graduates regarding their competence, employment prospects, and career advancement. Employing a survey design, data from 724 graduates underwent rigorous analysis utilizing various statistical methods. Questionnaires served as the primary means of data collection, complemented by quantitative analysis techniques such as percentage calculation, mean determination, and ANOVA testing. The findings underscore the substantial impact of graduates’ knowledge and skills on their employment outcomes, with an impressive 78% securing positions within government organizations. Notably, the study emphasizes the significance of continually updating academic curricula and promoting gender diversity, advocating for increased representation of female graduates. Moreover, most respondents perceive their educational qualifications as well-suited for their respective professions, affirming the relevance of HU's academic programs. Overall, HU's academic offerings receive commendation for their positive influence on graduates’ career trajectories, facilitating their preparation for future professional endeavors. Recommendations stemming from the study encompass initiatives such as faculty development workshops, the enhancement of entrepreneurship programs, and the cultivation of ethical conduct among students. Recognizing the pivotal role of academic leaders and university personnel, the study underscores their responsibility in nurturing students for impactful contributions to society and the workforce.

Colleges play a crucial role in preparing students for the job market by providing a comprehensive education, equipping students with job-ready skills, and aiding graduates in securing suitable employment opportunities. To assess the effectiveness of their programs, a study was conducted on the graduates of Davao de Oro State College New Bataan from 2018 to 2019. The primary objective of the study was to collect detailed demographic data from the alumni and assess their perceptions of the course program, training, job, and employment status. The study used a descriptive research design and collected data from the second batch of graduates through a survey questionnaire. The findings revealed that while some graduates secured employment, most had contractual positions. Furthermore, some alumni were not employed due to lack of job experience, health issues, or limited job opportunities in their field of study. The study also indicated that most respondents who found employment had been working for less than two years. These results highlight the need for colleges to continually evaluate their programs and provide graduates with the necessary tools and resources to secure long-term employment opportunities. Finally, conducting another tracer study with graduate employers or supervisors is recommended to assess the graduates' job competitiveness. This can provide valuable feedback on the effectiveness of the college's programs and help the college identify areas for improvement to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for the job market. Tracer Study is research that can provide useful information for evaluating the results of higher education and can then be used to improve and guarantee the quality of higher education. This research uses a quantitative research approach with a survey research type. The research population is Management Department graduates who graduated in 2019 and 2020. The sample used is saturated sampling, where the entire population is sample members. The research results were analyzed using descriptive statistics and information about graduates was extracted including the number of graduates. Includes who the graduates are, employment status of graduates, waiting time for graduates, coverage of graduates' workplaces. The research results show that Management graduates are able to survive as private sector employees. Disinfection is a critical process component of drinking water treatment to protect human health. The disinfection performance is highly dependent on the hydraulic efficiency of the disinfection contactor. Accurately evaluating the contactor hydraulic efficiency is important to water treatment plant designers and operators. Tracer analysis is the most used approach for evaluating hydraulic efficiency. Many factors that can impact tracer analysis have been well studied, while the monitoring strategy is not. This study investigates the impact of different monitoring strategies, including single-point, multiple-point, and surface-average monitoring, for hydraulic efficiency evaluation. It is found that: residence time distribution and characteristic times could vary significantly when monitoring two points near to each other, especially at a location with an uneven velocity distribution; the multi-point matrix monitoring approaches proposed in this study could be an alternative to accurately evaluate the contactor hydraulic performance even at the places with an uneven velocity distribution. Program studi dengan akreditasi internasional memiliki tuntutan laporan akademik lebih kongkrit untuk mempertahankan sertifikatnya. Salah satu indikatornya yaitu harus mendapatkan data kualitas lulusan di dunia kerja, sehingga pelaksanaan tracer study wajib dilakukan setiap periodenya. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis kualitas lulusan berdasarkan nilai IPK, status kelulusan, waktu kelulusan dan jenis pekerjaan yang dimiliki alumni. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data populasi lulusan melalui sosialisasi pengisian link tracer study yang dilakukan oleh Universitas dan dilanjutkan dengan pendekatan secara personal dan mengirimkan password melalui email blast maupun nomor whatsapp yang aktif di dalam grup yudisium 103 hingga 105 yang menjadi target penelitian, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa para lulusan mayoritas memiliki IPK kategori pujian sebesar 61% dan sisanya sangat memuaskan, status kelulusan mayoritas sudah memiliki pekerjaan sebanyak 71% dan waktu kelulusan mayoritas tepat waktu sebanyak 70,5% serta jenis pekerjaan yang dimiliki mayoritas menjadi guru sebanyak 67% sesuai dengan profil lulusan program studi. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa para lulusan memiliki kualitas SDM yang baik terlihat dari nilai IPK minimal berada pada kategori sangat memuaskan dan mayoritas alumni memiliki nilai pujian, sehingga hal ini memudahkan alumni dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan sesuai profil lulusan prodi yaitu menjadi seorang guru pendidikan jasmani di sekolah.

The study primarily aims to trace the employability of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduates. It focuses on determining their educational background, post-graduation activities, and employment. Moreover, the study is structured to assess the importance of undergraduate programs in fostering the skills development of graduates and the applicability of the curriculum's courses to their subsequent employment. A tracer study, elucidating graduates' educational and career paths, is a vital instrument in comprehending the outcomes of academic pursuits. Employing stratified sampling techniques, strata were derived from graduates spanning the years 2018 to 2022, ensuring comprehensive representation. In scrutinizing educational backgrounds, a notable 50.6% lacked specific certifications, with the Civil Service Examination emerging as the predominant certification at 28.1%. Influential factors in course selection were diverse, with parental influence (16.0%) and the allure of immediate employment (14.5%) exerting substantial impacts. A 14.6% of respondents in the professional training category chose the designation "Bookkeeping," indicating a substantial interest in acquiring skills related to bookkeeping. The study exposed a significant 68.4% of graduates currently employed, emphasizing the consequential impact of skill mismatches on job satisfaction. Notably, 67.8% of employment remained local, indicating a balanced representation of domestic and international work opportunities. The institutional contribution to graduates' personal growth was evident, as values like environmental responsibility and service to humanity strongly influenced professional behavior. In conclusion, this tracer study, methodically executed through stratified sampling, provides nuanced insights into graduates' educational and professional trajectories, underscoring the multifaceted influences shaping their career choices and emphasizing the integral role of education in fostering ethical and successful professionals. Biased beliefs about future labor-market earnings are commonplace. Based on a longitudinal survey of graduate work transitions in Mozambique, this study assesses the contribution of employment mismatches to a large positive gap between expected (ex ante) and realized (ex post) earnings. Accounting for the simultaneous determination of pecuniary and non-pecuniary work characteristics, employment mismatches are found to be material and associated with large earnings penalties. A decomposition of these expectational errors shows that around two-thirds are attributable to employment mismatches, suggesting job seekers systematically overestimate the ease of securing "good jobs." This research study aimed to determine the employability of Hotel and Restaurant Management graduates of academic year 2017 - 2021 from Guimaras State College, Philippines. The study made used of the descriptive method. The quantitative method used survey questionnaire to gather data from two hundred thirty-six (236) graduates composed of 95(39.83%) HRST, 61(25.85%) BSHRM and 81(34.32%) BSHM. The data gathering instrument used by the researchers is the modified Graduate Tracer Study from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Snowball sampling technique was employed. Out of the 236 graduates there were 200 (84.75%) who were employed. Findings shows that there is equal opportunity among students enrolling in the HRM program was enjoyed by the graduates regardless of their sex and civil status. Majority of the HRM graduates were currently employed locally to HRM related jobs however, there are some who were underemployed and unemployed. In addition, there was a high employability rate among HRM graduates of Guimaras State College. The suggestions to further improve the curriculum concentrated mainly on classroom standards, teaching methods, career guidance activities, and facilities and equipment. To improve the classroom teaching methods, more industry exposures/actual training gained favorable responses while posting of job opportunities on bulletin boards and social media and providing computers with reservation software are also suggested. One of the primary goals of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is to ensure that all students develop the skills necessary to respond to rapidly changing labor market requirements and conditions. Universities must consider how they train their students to be employable graduates. This study determined how Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science (BSMT/BSMLS) and BS Physical Therapy (BSPT) programs prepared the graduates for employment in the Philippines. The study employed a descriptive-correlational research design to establish a relationship between the graduates’ level of satisfaction with their education and the level of adequacy of the BSMLS and BSPT programs. An alumni survey was distributed to all Academic Year 2014-2018 program graduates via e-mail and Messenger. The survey revealed that the preparation for the board examination is the most common influencing factor in the transition from graduation to employment. The vast majority of graduates were employed locally and in positions that were relevant to their programs. The survey also revealed that the University adequately prepared graduates for jobs related to their degrees, and that graduates are satisfied with their education due to high-quality instruction and well-established student internship programs. Pearson correlation revealed that there is a moderate and positive relationship between the level of adequacy of the programs and the level of satisfaction. The study concludes that that graduates’ high employability both locally and globally is a result of the adequate academic preparation they received at the University.

This study aims to trace the achievements of athletes from several sports. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. In this study, the subjects of the study were athletes who were still actively training. The results showed that the social agent aspect had an impact on athlete achievement, namely: parents (74%) in the good category, coaches (81%) in the good category, teachers (78%) in the good category, peers (74%) in the good category. good environment (87%) in very good category, mass media (78%) in good category, and the correlation between social agent and achievement is 80% in good category. Based on the research results, each of these social agents has a role in achievement. High or low athlete achievement is not only the social agent aspect that influences it. Achievement was created from many factors that influence it.

This article aims to describe the relevance of alumni's field of work with the curriculum of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Jambi. The research object was Indonesian Literature alumni who responded with a total of 86 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out by sharing the questionnaire link via the study program website https://sastraindonesia.unja.ac.id/ to 86 Alumni. The data in this research were analyzed using a descriptive approach. The findings show that graduates have worked with a high level of job suitability (41.9%). It indicates that the relevance of the curriculum to world needs is quite appropriate. The findings also show that most of the respondents worked as private employees. It can be concluded that the Indonesian Literature Study Program needs to equip graduates with recognition of competencies in certain fields for students. A certificate or competency certificate will be an added value for graduates to compete in the workplace.

Disruption due to the industrial revolution 4.0 gave rise to a new era known as Society 5.0. With the advent of society 5.0, universities are led to prepare competent graduates to face this era. This research aimed to determine the competencies of Universitas Terbuka graduates as professionals educator in the era of society 5.0. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with a purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling was used to determine the participant of this research. The participants were 173 graduates of the Primary education department from the Universitas Terbuka in Indonesia. The data was collected using an online questionnaire because participants were spread throughout Indonesia. The research results obtained some of the main skills of the 21st century, namely leadership skills, digital literacy, communication, emotional intelligence, pedagogy, global citizenship, team working, and problemsolving. This study aimed to trace the 2015 to 2019 MAME graduates in the College of Teacher Education for Graduate Studies of the University of Northern Philippines in terms of their personal profile, their workrelated profile before and after taking their master's degree, reasons of taking up the program, competency level before and after taking the program, appraisal of the most useful courses offered in the program, evaluation on the contribution of the program to their personal and professional growth and assessment on the features of the program and suggestions of how to improve the program. The researcher utilized mixed method of research. The subjects were the MAME graduates, and a questionnaire and open-ended questions were sent to them thru various online flat forms. Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions are derived: pursuing graduate studies chooses no sex, civil status or age as long as there is a will to improve one's self; students have math-related educational background and finished the program within the prescribed number of years; having master's degree could contribute greatly in landing a permanent teaching job in public schools; professional and personal growth and development is the strongest drive to pursue advance education; the program offers subjects that are useful which enhanced the teaching competencies of the graduates and consequently contribute to the holistic development of the graduates; and that there are areas needing improvement in the MAME program. The graduate's employability is one of the issues in the education sector. By molding its graduates with skills and knowledge in accordance to the industry, With the number of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology graduates increasing each year, we need to visualize and predict future employment. This will ultimately inform institutions and enable them to enhance their education delivery plans. These studies used a data analytics model to forecast the employability of graduates using the linear regression algorithm and the SMOreg algorithm, predict the number of graduates in the next 3 years in the BS Information Technology program, and determine the percentage of graduates who are employed and unemployed using the data sourced from the tracer study conducted. All data preparation and modeling are done using the Weka tool. The result shows that the majority of graduates are employed, whereas only 10% are unemployed. The majority of graduates employed are female, and 40% are male. Additionally, it is evident that there is an increasing pattern of the graduate's employability and that there will be approximately a 14% increase in the employment rate for the next 3 years. Abstract Background The One Health (OH) approach integrates multiple competencies in the prevention and control of disease outbreaks. Through a range of OH competence-based activities, the Africa One Health University Network (AFROHUN) built the capacity of selected students at Makerere University and Mbarara University of Science and Technology. This study applied the Systems Theoretical Framework (STF) of career development to establish the employment status of AFROHUN-Uganda alumni, and the facilitators and barriers to application of the OH approach in their organisations. Methods We conducted an embedded mixed-methods study among a random sample of 182 AFROHUN-Uganda alumni of the 2013–2018 cohorts. For quantitative data, descriptive statistics were computed using Stata 14.0 statistical software. A total of 12 in-depth interviews were conducted, and NVivo 12 Pro was used to organise data during thematic analysis. Results While the majority, 87.4% were or got employed after participating in the AFROHUN Uganda capacity building programme, 68.1% were employed at the time of the survey, 57.7% had worked with their current employer for at least a year, and 39% held managerial positions. The facilitators of applying the OH approach into employing organisations included being knowledgeable about OH, the presence of a multidisciplinary workforce, the nature of activities implemented, and existing partnerships and collaborations between organisations. The barriers to the application of the OH approach included limited funding, a negative attitude towards working with people from other disciplines, and limited knowledge of the One Health approach. Conclusion Notably, more than two-thirds of the OH alumni were employed, and more than a third held managerial position. While these findings portray a fairly good absorption rate of the OH alumni into the workforce, they also highlight the facilitators of application of the OH approach that need to be promoted as well as the barriers that need to be addressed if the application of the OH approach is to be improved within the workforce.

The study aims to determine the employability skills of Technical-Vocational Education and Training Graduates of Valenzuela City Polytechnic College. This study was carried out to 423 graduates of TVET using convenience sampling and forty-five (45) employers who were selected purposively in the City of Valenzuela. The respondents had completed the TVET program. A survey questionnaire, document analysis and an interview guide were used. Frequency, percentage, and weighted mean were utilized in the statistical analysis and handling of the data. Among 423 TVET graduates of ValPoly from 2015 to 2019, majority are employed which had an employment rate of 87.94 percent, compared to a rate of 12.06 percent for those who were unemployed. Carpentry obtained the highest employment rate while the bread and pastry production got the lowest employment rate. The year 2019 also has the highest rate while respondents who graduated in 2016 have the lowest employment rate. Half of the employed graduates acquired a "regular status". Despite the skills mismatch, graduates have managed to seek employment related to their training right after graduation. Communication skills is the most useful skill in the workplace. ValPoly has provided comprehensive and effective programs and provisions that enhance graduates' employability skills. TVET graduates employed were assessed as highly competent by their employers. Several factors that facilitate the acquisition of employment. A proposed enhancement program for the employability skills of TVET graduates is formulated based on findings of this study to ensure that all graduates will be equipped with skills for employment. The current undertaking aimed to trace the employability of Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Psychology graduates of a State University in Central Luzon, Philippines from 2005 to 2020. Descriptive-quantitative research design was utilized in order to describe and trace the participants' demographic profile, employment status, and their professional development. Graduates' personal, educational and employment background, as well as their perception to the relevance of the baccalaureate degree in their employment were collected using a survey-questionnaire anchored from CHED's graduate tracer instrument. The study gathered data from 173 graduates through convenience sampling. Electronic survey forms were used in gathering the data and utilized SPSS version 23 for statistical analysis. Consequently, the collected data revealed that 94.7% of the participants were employed and 67% of them perceived that their degree is relevant to their employment. Lastly, the graduates reported that communication skills were the main contributory skill to their employment developed by their respective programs, while collaborative skills were the most useful. Tracer study is seen as the never-ending undertaking that the learning institutions must do to gather useful data and insights from the graduates for the purposes of validating the curricular offerings and planning for the next action items. This study aimed to determine the employability of BSIT graduates from 5 different academic years 2016 - 2017, 2017 - 2018, 2019 - 2020, and 2020 - mid 2021. The study gathered data from 226 alumni respondents using a descriptive survey method. Descriptive statistical measures such as frequency, percentage and weighted mean were used to analyze the data quantitatively. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used in analyzing the significant degree of variance among the Curricular Structures, Skills and Competencies. The results revealed that the majority of the alumni respondents are employed full-time as software developers and engineers. Major courses such as Programming, Databases, Web Development, and Systems Analysis and Design were perceived as helpful to the present or previous job of the alumni graduate. It is also revealed that the BSIT program offering was perceived as very relevant, particularly in the skills and competencies acquired. UC-CCS provided a good overall academic experience to the graduates, specifically in the areas of Laboratories, Curriculum, and Faculty & Instruction, with a net promoter score of +63.72%. Lastly, the respondents perceived that there is a significant degree of variance among the Curricular Structures, Skills and Competencies on the relevance of the BSIT program to their employability. Alumni are an inseparable part of a university. How the performance of alumni after graduation is an indicator of the success of study programs and universities that graduate them. To find out the current condition of alumni, it is necessary to conduct a tracer study. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of tracer studies at PTNBH in Indonesia so that it can be a reference for other universities in improving their tracer study performance. The research method used is exploratory descriptive with a qualitative approach. The source of data in this study is the leadership of the Chairman and staff of the tracer study implementing agency at PTNBH. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis is carried out descriptively through the stages of reduction, display, and conclusion. The results showed that the tracer study policy at PTNBH was carried out centrally by the work unit responsible to the Rector. To strengthen the position of this work unit, the existence of a work unit that carries out tracer studies is contained in the SOTK of higher education. The tracer study system built by PTNBH has been running effectively thanks to the commitment and support of leaders at all levels. The instruments used are very dynamic and refer to the Kemendikbudikti tracer study instrument and accommodate the needs of various parties. Graduates' employability is vital in assessing higher education institutions' performance. The results of tracer studies serve as a basis to identify graduates' needs to succeed in the workforce. This undertaking aimed to determine graduate school graduates' employment and employability characteristics in a state higher education institution in the Philippines. Specifically, it determined the profile of graduates, employment status, employability characteristics, the extent of contribution and applicability of the skills gained, assessed the graduate program offerings, and recommendations to improve the services of the Graduate School. The study used a descriptive research design. The study gathered data from graduates of the two program offerings of the Graduate School. The questionnaire was used to gather the necessary data and analysed using descriptive statistics such as frequency count and percentage and mean. Based on the results, the graduates have the necessary eligibilities, are employed in public schools, occupy permanent positions, and present employment relevant to the degree earned. In addition, there is high employability of graduates and a high application of the skills gained in graduate school. There is high satisfaction among graduates with the offering and services of the institution. With these conclusions, it is recommended that the existing curriculum shall be reviewed, the improvement of facilities and learning resources, and strong partnership with linkages may be strengthened to sustain the relevance and responsiveness of the existing graduate programs and curriculum. Professional development like finishing graduate or post-graduate degrees is one of the key indicators of advancement in the practice of one’s profession. This research traced the lived experiences of Master Language Educators through their faces (characteristics), changes (transformation or improvement), and places (personal and professional promotions) using qualitative-narrative research design. All 14 alumni of the Master of Arts in Education major in English in 2019-2021 were taken as participants of the study using a homogenous sampling technique. Based on the results, the participants characterized themselves as more linguistically capable and highly strategic after completing their graduate program. They have developed confidence and practice time management and nurtured a critical eye for literature. As to their personal and professional promotions, they experienced more leadership opportunities, promotion and salary increases, and a variety of exposures in the field. Assigning of advisers while taking thesis writing and providing more writing sessions for thesis writing and offering more literature subjects as electives were their suggestions to improve the program. It is recommended that the significant findings of the study be used in revisiting the program, its course offerings, and the enhancement of the curriculum.

Employers need graduates who are better prepared for the workplace. In the Philippines, higher education institutions (HEIs) must generate competent graduates who can adapt to quickly changing industries, notably skills, and competencies. To assess this, HEIs regularly conduct tracer or employability surveys or studies to ensure that graduates possess the competencies and abilities that employers need and that curriculum is relevant to industry needs. For this reason, the researchers conducted this study to document the employment characteristics, transition to employment, and acquired skills while studying in a local university of graduates from the school year (SY) 2016-2017 to SY 2020-2021. The most prominent finding is that graduates of the local university see that the competencies and skills they acquired while studying in school are beneficial in their careers and help their rankings and salaries. The university’s goal of being the number one choice for employable graduates is manifested in the workplace.

This tracer study research includes alumni of STID KPI Study Program Mohammad Natsir from 2004 - 2021 which aims to obtain an overview of the absorption of KPI alumni in the world of da'wah and work including the waiting period to get a job, type of work and suitability of work with competence as well as to explain feedback ( feedback) from alumni related to learning factors that are considered most beneficial for alumni development in the world of da'wah and work, in this study also described the competencies obtained by alumni during their studies. This research is included in the type of descriptive-quantitative research through a survey approach which includes three stages; 1) Development of concepts and instruments; 2) Data collection; 3) Data analysis and reporting. The sampling method is random, with a proportion of 14% according to the number of graduates. The type of data collected in this study is primary data obtained directly from alumni through a structured questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed via Google forms which were distributed directly to alumni online starting on October 15, 2021 to November 15, 2021. The results showed that most of the alumni of the STID KPI study program Mohammad Natsir got jobs with a waiting period of less than 3 months, and the competence of alumni was very high. high in various aspects, except for English skills which must be further improved.

Tracer's study is program on the situation of alumni, especially in terms of job search, work situations, and the use of competency acquisition during college. Based on the benchmarks that have been set by Dikti, the development of tracer studies can be implemented in several stages, such as system design development, data design, and interface design. With the development of the tracer study system design, it is hoped that it can become the basis for developing an integrated tracer study information system with the institution. The purpose of this discussion is to find a tracer study design that is in accordance with the rules and regulations to be applied in the institution. Using a modified Borg and Gall development model, the author focuses on product design development. The earliest design tracer studies discuss system design because this is the first stage in program design and it is the most fundamental. With this approach, designs can be developed and this is expected to be in accordance with the institutional needs and regulations of DIKTI as policymakers in higher education.

This tracer study tracking graduates aims to identify the profile of master's degree graduates in basic education which includes: (1) student study period, (2) graduate waiting period, (3) work motivation, (4) job suitability with the field of science, (5) income received, and (6) the expectations of the institution/place of work for the knowledge that has been obtained during the master's level of basic education at UHAMKA. This type of research is a type of survey research with a descriptive evaluative research approach. The subjects of this research are alumni of the Master of Basic Education study program at UHAMKA with a total of 110 students and alumni users, both government and private. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire, both open and closed. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive data analysis. Graduates are the evidence of the worth of an academic program and the value of Higher Education Institutions. The study used Social System theory to asses the mandates of HEIs in delivering quality education. This assessment implemented a tracer study which examined the socio economic conditions of purposively sampled 92 graduates of the identified state university in Northern Negros from 2015-2020. The study used a cross-sectional method with CHED Graduate Tracer Study as the instrument. The data was collected through survey and was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The graduates have passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and landed permanent jobs. The graduates' family income increased, and their alma mater contributed to their holistic development, contributing to the sustainability of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 and AmBisyon 2040. Tracer studies can be used to examine the socioeconomic conditions of graduates as a framework that goes beyond employability, competency, program, and curriculum development. Abstract Background The Africa One Health University Network (AFROHUN) with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has since 2012 conducted pre and in-service One health (OH) trainings with the objective of improving global health security. These trainings aim to build competencies that, enhance a multidisciplinary approach to solving global health challenges. Despite the investment in OH trainings, there is limited documentation of the extent of acquisition and application of the OH competencies at workplaces. This tracer study explored the extent of acquisition and application of the OH competencies by the AFROHUN-Uganda alumni. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted among a random sample of 182 AFROHUN-Uganda alumni of 2013–2018 cohorts. A blended approach of interviewer-administered and self-administered questionnaires was used. Virtual platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft teams, and Skype, and phone interviews were used to collect data when face-to-face interactions with alumni were not possible. Data were collected electronically, either through a link or with the aid of the KoboCollect mobile application, pre-installed on android enabled devices, and analysed using STATA14.0. Results The majority of respondents, 78.6% (143/182) had jobs that required application of OH knowledge and skills, 95.6% (174/182) had learned employable skills from OH activities and 89.6% (163/182) had applied such skills when searching for employment. About 21.7% (34/180) to a very high extent required OH field-specific theoretical knowledge at their workplaces, 27.4% (43/80) to a very high extent required OH field-specific practical knowledge/skills, 42.7% (67/180) to a high extent required a change in attitude and perceptions towards working with people from different disciplines, 49.0% (77/180) required collaboration and networking skills, and more than half, 51.0% (80/180) required team building skills. Conclusions The majority of OH alumni to a very high extent acquired and applied OH competences such as teamwork, effective communication, community entry and engagement, report writing and problem-solving skills. This study revealed the significant contribution of the AFROHUN Uganda OH activities towards supportive work environments, and highlights areas of improvement such as supporting the trainees to acquire people-management skills, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mind set.

The mixing performance of a water storage tank is important to ensure good drinking water quality in a distribution system. A tracer study is a commonly used approach for mixing performance evaluation but has limitations, such as limited sampling points and inability to be applied to the full scale at design stage. In practice, mixing time is usually estimated by the tracer curve measured by a probe sensor in a physical tracer study. However, the probe tracer concentration curve can be affected by many factors in the tracer release approach (e.g., instantaneous pouring or quill injecting), such as pouring volume, vertical penetration, and injecting time, making the estimated mixing time inaccurate. Coefficient of variation (CoV) decay curve is an alternative for determining mixing time. In this study, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models were developed to study mixing in a cylindrical water tank. Mixing times were estimated from both probe tracer curve and CoV decay curve. Results show that the mixing time estimated from a probe tracer curve only represents local mixing, while that estimated from a CoV decay curve is a more appropriate index for global mixing, suggesting that the CoV decay curve should be used for mixing performance analysis in a water tank. In this study, semi-dry anaerobic digestion was conducted to treat undigested, dewatered sludge with total solids (TS) values ranging from 10.3 to 15.1 wt% in a horizontal tubular bioreactor with a working volume of 20 L and a solids retention time of 16 days. The low-thermal pretreatment at 60 °C for 3 h enhanced the continuous methane production from 18.8% to 25.0%. The highest biogas production of 193.8 mL CH 4 /g VS and 1.10 L CH 4 /L·d was achieved at a feed TS of 13.3 wt% and an organic loading rate (OLR) of 5.69 g VS/L·d. The obtained methane yield was equivalent to 88.8% of the biochemical methane potential of the pretreated feed sludge. The maximum specific methanogenic activity and the population of methanogenic archaea showed a close correlation with methane production. Methanogenesis shifted from the acetoclastic pathway to the hydrogenotrophic pathway as the OLR increased. The pretreatment of dewatered sludge not only improved methane production but also affected the methanogens. A tracer study confirmed that the bioreactor was properly mixed at high TS conditions. However, the digester performance temporarily declined due to the inhibition of the tracer, iodide. Characterizing the performance of any treatment wetland (TW) system requires a fundamental understanding of the hydraulic behavior of the system. In aerated treatment, the air supply increases complexity, and the internal behavior of TWs can vary according to the adopted aeration strategy. Understanding these changes can provide insights into an optimized operation for aerated TWs. In this sense, the present work characterizes the hydraulics of a hybrid vertical and horizontal aerated TW through parallel tracer testing under different aeration strategies (varying aeration duration and aeration between the different compartments). The tracer test was conducted using amino-G acid and salt on a pilot scale system and measured at the outlet and inside the system. These results are subsequently compared to a full-scale system of a similar design to assess the validity of the results on a larger scale. The results allowed a characterization of actual retention time, the estimated number of tanks-in-series (NTIS), the volume of dead zones, and the identification of the hydraulic behavior under different aeration conditions. The results indicated that decreasing aeration duration led to more heterogeneity within the filter, the aeration on the primary filter plays an important role in mixing, and the pilot scale results can be upscaled for a larger scale. It also highlighted the impact of aeration in the different compartments of this hybrid aerated wetland system, which can contribute to an accurate characterization of specific pollutant removal kinetics. • The longer aeration duration prevents the formation of dead zones. • Aeration on the primary filter plays an important role in the mixing process. • Preferential pathways were identified with internal measurements. • Full scale results are in agreement with pilot scale system. Tujuan penelitian memberikan analisis mendalam dan gambaran antara relevansi kurikulum dengan kebutuhan pasar. Keterbatasan tertuju pada alumni yang dapat dihubungi melalui email maupun nomor kontak yang masih aktif. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriftif kuantitatif dengan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu google form terdiri dari dua jenis kuesioner terbuka dan tertutup dengan kisi-kisi meliputi pekerjaan, status alumni, hubungan pekerjaan dengan pekerjaan yang dimiliki, produk yang dihasilkan, kompetensi yang dikuasai, dan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan dalam menunjang pekerjaan alumni. Sampel penelitian ini secara keseluruhan yaitu alumni 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, dan 2017 S3 Ilmu Keolahragaan pascasarjana. Penelitian menggunakan populasi dengan tujuan dapat menghasilkan data empirik kondisi alumni tanpa ada level error yang cukup besar. Teknik Penghitungan menggunakan persentase dengan bantuan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang lulus tepat waktu sebesar 19% terdiri dari tiga angkatan yaitu 2012, 2014 dan 2016. Selain itu terkait kualitas lulusan yang paling relevansi dengan pekerjaan yaitu etika, keahlian berdasarkan bidang ilmu, komunikasi, kemampuan analisis dan kemampuan adaptasi rata-rata sebesar 54%. Terdapat juga mata kuliah yang tidak relevan dengan pekerjaan yaitu biopsikologi, biomekanika dan sosiologi, namun perlu adanya penambahan mata kuliah seperti manajemen olahraga, olahraga rekreasi, teknologi keolahragaan dan terkait analisis performa atlet. Relevansi pilihan mata kuliah dengan lapangan kerja mayoritas sangat tinggi muncul pada materi metodologi penelitian dan statistik. Hasil analisis dapat dijadikan pegangan dasar untuk melakukan restrukturisasi kurikulum demi meningkatkan kualitas lulusan di masa mendatang sesuai kebutuhan lapangan pekerjaan. Arah penelitian kedepannya perlu didalami terkait kemampuan alumni menerapkan sistem digital dalam pekerjaannya.

Alumnuses have a role in the college progress. one of the roles of alumnuses is that alumnuses provide input to college for mapping job market. Alumnuses inputs are obtained by college through tracer study at college career center. The Career Development Center (CDC) of the Cilacap State Polytechnic (PNC) conducts a tracer study process by sending a form link via short message to the group of alumnuses. The problem with this method is that the tracer study form can be filled out by everyone who has the link. On the other hand, the officer must re-enter the same list of questions for alumnuses in different years. This study aims to create a Career Development Center application that can help PNCs to monitor the distribution of alumnuses and help CDC disseminate job vacancy information. The method used in software development uses the waterfall method. At the software testing stage, the method used is blackbox testing. Based on the results of customer feedback, 30 respondents produced a very good predicate. The conclusion of this study, the development of the Career Development Center application can help spread alumni and help CDC disseminate job vacancies information to alumni.

This study determined and analyzed the graduates' evaluation of the master of arts in applied linguistics program on their perspectives on the contribution of the program to the present work demands, competencies in their work to further advance career and program enhancement. This study used the quantitative-qualitative research methods by using the modified self-administered questionnaires based on Schomburg primarily and interviews. The data revealed that the graduates perceived the relevance, appropriateness, and satisfaction of their program to their work. The graduates were also trained in terms of writing and presenting reports, critical thinking, managing their time and publishing. However, the program needed to enhance the skills in publication which could be attributed to the lack of internal motivation to publish one's research output and availability of journals for publication. Thus, this study implies that there is a need to strengthen the research agenda of the department. It is indeed recommended that the students should be required by faculty members to submit their final papers for review and publication to a selected journal and publishing the master's theses before and after earning the master of arts in applied linguistics (MAAL) program should be encouraged, reinforced, and practiced. Using a quantitative approach employing a descriptive survey research design, 150 Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) alumni of the Davao Oriental State University – Cateel Extension Campus (DORSU-CEC) from the classes of 2013-2021 were surveyed for to conduct this tracer study. Results revealed that most of graduates were females, single, employed regular or permanent basic education teachers within Davao Oriental under public or government organizations. Parents or relatives were very influential in their choice of program in college. Their main employer was the Department of Education (DepEd), and they occupied professional, technical or supervisory job level positions in their first and present employment. Further, graduates acquired their first job within 1 to 6 months after graduating in college, and earned a monthly income of almost ₱27,500 in their first and present employment. Moreover, graduates perceived that the curriculum offered to them in college was relevant in their first and present employment. They believed that communication skills and discipline that they learned in college are the most useful competency and core values on their employment. Additionally, the courses in the campus can be strengthened further if the library and laboratory are provided with more resources, equipment, and facilities that can aid the students in their studies, and if the campus offers more number of optional subjects.
