Reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of their use should be a primary goal in order to increase the performance of the firm’s activity. Any firm for obtaining usage values using an array of resources, human and financial materials whose use is materialized by spending. Structure, volume and their dynamics in a synthetic manner reflects the use and management of resources. The article highlights how the tracking of the evolution of total revenue expenses using the efficiency ratio total expenditure, and the results of this research will highlight: the evolution and structure of revenues and expenses, the factorial analysis of the efficiency ratio of total expenses and the analysis of the effect of the modification of the level of the efficiency ratio.

The paper aims to highlight the necessity of using the crop budget as a comprehensive tool in determining the crop related expenditure - stage that precedes economic efficiency calculation. The drawn up form comprises two interconnected elements that communicate through associated formulas. We designed a table with specific data based on recommendations from the economic literature that reflects the entire production process in agriculture, results being used to determine the crop economic efficiency items represented also as tabular form. The tables made in Microsoft Excel can be used for any crop, with characteristic changes related to technology, any value change in the crop budget resulting in changes for the economic efficiency sheet. Thus it can be viewed and recorded immediately the economic effects of production variation with one or more units. There are taken into account the expenses regarding mechanical and/or manuals operations and materials used as well as the income from primary and secondary production, highlighting the main economic indicators associated. In calculating the efficiency there were taken into consideration also the subsidies - elements with significant weight in the structure of total revenue for a particular crop, related to the specific conditions of the North-East region of Romania. The form can be used in agricultural management as a tool for analysis of the various technological options applicable for the same crop in order to ensure the highest level of economic efficiency and establishing the level of production necessary to achieve a minimum outcome aimed under the specific circumstances. A descriptive and retrospective study was carried out for the partial economic evaluation, of cost description type, of the hospital care and laboratory monitoring of 22 196 patients with presumptive diagnosis of dengue, admitted in 3 hospitals of Santiago de Cuba municipality during the epidemic occurred in 2006 - 2007. The direct and indirect costs of hospitalization and laboratory monitoring were determined, and the existing economic data were reviewed in detail in different cost centers. Of the Santiago population, 2.3% were affected by dengue, with a predominance of the classic form and confirmation in 50% of those admitted The total expenses for hospitalization ($11 246 037,18) prevailed, representing 95.1%, of which 79.8% came from direct expenses and were higher than those arising from laboratory monitoring. It was recommended to estimate the expenses incurred by the vector control and educational campaigns during this epidemic as a complement of this study.

Between the modern society and the traditional one there are sensitive differences. If the traditional society is restrictive and limited from the cultural point of view, the modern society is expansive, capable to solve a large range of problems and to control more and more extended scientific areas. The more structural the specialization, the higher the modernization index; the further away from the traditional society, the more capable of reabsorbing transforming elements and of developing rationalism, efficiency and tendency towards freedom, which are the essential characteristics of the modernity. The selection of the delivery scheme is one of the most complicated problems and the results of its solution condition the sustainable development of the whole market of transportation services. Freight forwarders should consider numerous random parameters characterizing demand and technological processes to choose the proper structure of the logistics chain. The paper aims to propose a method for choosing the logistics chain structure, based on the analysis of the total expenses as a function from the demand parameters characterizing stochastic variables of the consignment weight, the delivery distance, and the time interval between the requests in the flow of queries for cargo delivery. Four basic logistics chain structures, widely used on road transport, are described to demonstrate the selection process. The areas of the most efficient use of the logistics chain structures can be defined for the flow of requests for cargo deliveries. The paper shows such areas on the example of goods delivery by automobile transport. Determining the areas of the most efficient use of the specific logistics chain structures contributes to the effective choice of correct delivery variants by freight forwarders.

One of the priority directions of Ukraine social development is creation of pre-conditions for formation and stabilization of wide layer of middle class.Today the obviously represented middle class in Ukraine is absence; the process of its formation is under way. In 2001 the middle class was 12,3% of population, in 2002 - 11%, in 2008 - 10%, in 2012 only about 9%, although by some estimations, in this period the amount of middle class was not more than 5%.Now Ukrainians are spending greater part of the profits on food (over 51%), pay for housing and public utilities. As a result, there is not enough money for development, cultural leisure. The profits rate and consumption structure of Ukrainians do not create necessary conditions for formation of social-culture characteristics, which are peculiar to the middle class, and for provision of progressive development of the Ukrainian society.Representatives of middle layer in Ukraine, as well as abroad, are peoples, who, as a rule, have the higher education. By most other criteria (profits rate, standards of consumption and lifestyle), this layer of the Ukrainian society does not differ a lot from a lower class. For most, who belong to the Ukrainian middle class, the next characteristics are typical: sufficiency of profits only on food and payment for housing; insufficiency of profits to meet the needs in medical service, purchase of clothes, consumer durables, education and rest.In every country a middle class is the guarantor of economy stability and high standard of citizens life, driving force of society, that's why in Ukraine it is necessary to create all conditions for formation of strong middle class at the level of the national program. Priority directions of this program must be support and help to small- and middle-sized business, its innovative forms; improving of regulator policy; increasing of population's profits rate; providing conditions for formation of high quality human capital in the education system, etc.

There are new modification algorithms that are suggested for the objective of equipment replacement. The high efficiency of such algorithm applications is shown. The algorithms enable computation of the total expenses for the plant's equipment exploitation. For solving the problem of equipment change, the bundled software with syntactic analyzer of mathematical formulas was developed.

This paper aims at explaining some aspects concerning the management costs of an apartment in a block- of-flats using the apartment thermal station in comparison with the central heating received from a town heating point. Thus, the management costs have been followed during a period of 5 years (2004 -2008), and the results are presented in the work. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
