The griseata species group includes, apparently, four species, which inhabit Siberia: T. griseata, T. recompta (Prout, 1930), T. comae Schmidt, 1931 and T. paralias (Prout, 1935). Only the last one definitely differs in morphology, whereas the former three species are difficult to distinguish in appearance and genitalia structure as well. The Chinese species of the genusTimandraDuponchel, 1829 are reviewed: 12 known species are reported. Seven new species are described from China, increasing the total number ofTimandraspecies to 28:T.distortasp. n.,T.aduncasp. n.,T.quadratasp. n.,T.accumulatasp. n.,T.vimineasp. n.,T.robustasp. n.andT.stueningisp. n.Diagnoses for all 19 Chinese species are provided, with illustrations of external features and genitalia.
