Background: Over the past several decades, scholars have regularly reviewed qualitative research published in the Journal of Teaching in Physical Education, among other outlets, to understand the developing role of qualitative methods in physical education and sport pedagogy. In this review, the authors present a descriptive and thematic analysis of qualitative research articles published between 2009 and 2019, extending previous reviews. Methods: A total of 137 empirical articles were published that included a qualitative component (38.48%). This included purely qualitative studies (28.37%) as well as those using mixed methods (10.11%). Results: Descriptive results include analyses of article classifications, authorship, participants, theoretical/conceptual frameworks, qualitative methodologies, data collection methods, and data analysis and trustworthiness strategies. Inductive analysis of the 137 qualitative containing articles resulted in six themes and corresponding subthemes of research foci. Conclusions: Suggestions for future submissions to the Journal of Teaching in Physical Education are also presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We present a thematic review and analysis of the variables affecting language learning motivation (LLM) (2008–2022). The second-language motivational self-system (L2MSS) model was found to be the most applied construct in measuring LLM. Complex systems theory was also another method gaining prominence in LLM research to explain the interactions between micro- and macro-structures surrounding the learner in influencing motivation. Other factors such as socioeconomic status, dialogism and anagnorisis were also identified as variables relating to LLM. For instance, research on dialogism and dialogue has indicated the role of conversation in shaping identity, motivation, and meaning for learners. However, our review found that much of the focus in LLM research has been on the L2MSS learning or teaching experience, while daily living has been largely neglected. We further conducted a reliability generalization meta-analysis. Our analysis found an average reliability of 0.84 (CI = 0.816–0.856), with 34% of reliability coefficients falling below the lower bound of CI. A meta-regression analysis revealed that 16% of the variance in the reliability coefficients was predicted by the number of items in the instruments. Questionnaires with an internal consistency below the lower bound of 0.816 had an average of 4.14 items, while the rest had an average of 5.71 items. We further found significant publication bias. Communication disorders in children are multifaceted and often difficult to diagnose accurately due to their complex nature. The Children’s Communication Checklist (CCC) is a widely used diagnostic instrument for identifying and diagnosing children with and without communication disorders. This review aimed to conduct a thematic examination of existing literature that applies the CCC and CCC-2 in the diagnosis of communication disorders. It sought to explore the nuances of CCC’s deployment, its diagnostic traits, and its capability to accurately distinguish individuals with or without communication disorders. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple databases, yielding studies that apply the CCC and CCC-2 in diagnosing communication disorders. The 39 selected studies were subjected to a thematic analysis to identify patterns and themes concerning the use of CCC in diagnosing communication disorders. The review identified seven major themes related to the use of the CCC, such as the evolution and development of the CCC, its application and effectiveness, limitations and strengths, use in specific populations, translation and adaptation, use in different formats, and role in identifying pragmatic language impairments (PLIs). The CCC and CCC-2 have proven invaluable in assessing and diagnosing communication disorders in children. Despite some limitations, their strengths, including their versatility across diverse populations, languages, and contexts, and their ability to identify PLIs, make them effective tools in the field of pediatric communication disorders. AbstractTraditional handicraft sector become a new mechanism for sustainable development, employment opportunities, and economic growth in rural areas of China. To find out current issues and trends of Chinese traditional handicraft product development, a systematic study is required to analyze the state-of-art of topic under investigation. Secondary data through literature review is used to obtain data in Scopus database from 2002 to 2022 by using the Citespace visualization software. Bibliometric analysis focus on annual number of articles, journals, authors’ cooperation, issuing institutions and keywords to explore an information. The results indicated that the Chinese traditional handicraft product has been highlighted as most significant topic discussing by scholars and researchers since few years ago. Specific topic of study divided into three stages: slow start, fluctuating growth and rapid development. The specific topic rise on issue such as sustainability, innovation, employment, and perceptions. Furthermore, the research directions can be acknowledged in theoretical concepts and methodological model. Based on these findings, this study further discusses the potential impact on the management level.

The rapid expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) has paved the way for the development of smart systems, with Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) serving as the underlying infrastructure. While it exists in a miniature form, IoT-based WSN today stands as the revolution of the future, promising tremendous influence on society. However, the limited resources of these networks pose various challenges, particularly in routing, with congestion being a significant issue that affects their efficiency. Although previous studies are available on congestion management in WSNs, research specifically focused on IoT-based WSNs and addressing the root causes of congestion is none. In order to address this gap, this article conducts a thematic review of the current literature to identify congestion management strategies and forecast future trends. The search identified 86 studies, among which 47 articles were analyzed. The six final themes were discovered: artificial intelligence approach, customized classical method, hybrid approach, cross-layering approach, SDN-based approach, and RPL routing advancement. The findings establish a comprehensive taxonomy model as a conceptual framework for future research in congestion management strategies for IoT-based WSNs routing. This taxonomy aids academic researchers as well as industrial practitioners and highlights crucial areas for future research on congestion issues from the perspective of Industry 4.0. Since its inception in the field of organizational learning, ambidexterity has now evolved as a ubiquitous phenomenon, permeating all functional units of an organization. Over the last several years, the investigation of ambidexterity in personal selling and sales management has gained much scholarly attention. This paper aims to conduct a systematic review and synthesize the literature on ambidextrous selling. In doing so, we begin with defining ambidexterity at both organizational and individual levels and delineate the interplay between them. Then, we present and discuss key theories that underpin ambidextrous selling, followed by an in-depth analysis of different themes related to selling ambidexterity. Next, we outline the methodological advancements in ambidextrous selling research. This critical review delves into the underexplored realm of institutional real estate investment decision-making, a domain that holds paramount significance in the financial landscape. Despite the extensive scrutiny of individual real estate investors' decision-making processes, there exists a noticeable lack of research on the pivotal role played by institutional investors. As the primary stakeholders armed with substantial financial resources, institutional investors, encompassing entities such as investment funds, insurance companies, and pension funds, wield unparalleled influence in the market. This paper aims to unravel the complex decision-making models employed by institutional investors, focusing on the period from 2000 to 2024. Employing the PRISMA model, the review meticulously incorporates 21 pertinent articles, and a comprehensive thematic analysis, facilitated by ATLAS.ti version 23.2.1, reveals three prominent decision-making models - the Normative Model, the Descriptive Model, and the Prescriptive Model. In dissecting the factors that shape institutional real estate investment, the study identifies four key influencers: political, economic, legal, and real estate market fundamentals. The intricate interplay of these factors forms the crux of decision-making strategies adopted by institutional investors, as they diligently safeguard the interests of their trustees. Moreover, a noteworthy revelation surfaces regarding the geographical bias in existing research, with a scarcity of studies in developing countries, notably in Malaysia. This observation not only underscores the need for more comprehensive exploration in these regions but also presents a compelling avenue for future research endeavors. Over the last several decades, the field of nonprofit marketing has produced a growing number of publications; however, little attention has been paid to examine what research topics have been studied by nonprofit scholars from the marketing perspectives. This knowledge production research contributes to the literature by reviewing trends in research themes and methodologies over the last 20 years among the articles for which authors use the terminology "marketing." Employing a thematic review using text network analysis, and an in‐depth methodology review, this study finds that nonprofit marketing studies have been shifting to become more subdivided and diversified in terms of research themes and methodologies. However, we also find that there is still room for further development, which we provided recommendations based on the findings. China's distinctive educational approach, particularly its emphasis on ideological and political education, has garnered considerable academic attention for its impact on shaping individual values, fostering citizenship, and maintaining social stability. Despite the Chinese government's prioritization of ideological and political education, academic research in this field appears constrained, with existing studies predominantly focusing on normative and descriptive aspects. Normative research delineates how ideological and political education should be executed, while descriptive research illustrates its practical implementation. The effectiveness of these approaches is significantly diminished if they are not adequately interconnected—when only the current reality is explained without providing tools for improvement or when prescribed steps for improvement lack a basis in specific contexts. This paper conducts a comprehensive review of research on ideological and political education using ATLAS. ti 9 for thematic analysis. The review aims to unveil the intricate landscape of current research in China and address key questions: What are the primary trends in the literature on ideological and political education between 2021 and July 2023? What challenges does ideological and political education face? Through a direct exploration of these issues, this paper seeks to optimize the ideological and political education system, elevate its adaptability and effectiveness, and open avenues for research, fostering a more dynamic, inclusive, and resilient development of ideological and political education.

The aim of this research was to analyze academic anxiety studies in the literature using the thematic review method and to determine the current trend in this field. In the research, a meta-synthesis study was carried out including 61 studies, 3 of which were theses and 58 were articles, published between 1981-2021. The studies used in the research were accessed in Dissertations and Theses Global-Proquest, Eric-EBSCOhost, MEDLINE, Science Direct, Scopus, SpringerLink, Taylor and Francis Online, Wiley, ULAKBIM, YÖK Thesis Center and Google Scholar databases. Published articles or theses about determining the nature of academic anxiety in the literature were included in the study. In the examined studies, the relationship of academic anxiety with more than one variable was investigated and it was determined that most studies focused on examining the differences based on demographic variables. The survey model was the most frequently chosen research method, and qualitative research methods were not sufficiently used. The studies examined were carried out mostly by using the questionnaire method in high school level age groups and sample groups of 101-300 people. Therefore, in order to carry out new studies with larger working groups, to examine the academic anxiety of students at higher education level and to carry out reviews, scale development or adaptation studies for higher education students are needed. In addition, there was a limited number of experimental studies conducted about reducing student academic anxiety. Survey and relational based quantitative research needs to be supported by experimental methods.

Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) has evolved since its inception and has contributed mainly to multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) to solve complex problems. It is a widespread technique that uses group decision-making approach to solve problems in business operations, mathematics, and numerous other scientific fields. While its applications are numerous, a handful of researchers have studied the growth trajectory of AHP. Whilst these seminal works have discussed the evolution of AHP in different contexts and using contemporary techniques, we complement them by presenting and reflecting on the unchartered and pressing need of charting the managerial and theoretical evolution of AHP, over the last decade. We do this through a systematic and thematic review of the extant literature. This study uses the Scopus database to extract papers published between 2012 and 2021 in decision science with an overlap with operations research and information systems. The study follows Tranfield et al. (2003)'s guidelines to understand the past trends of AHP along three key dimensions and offers future directions. Quadratic equations are one of the fundamental topics of the secondary school curriculum. Current research in algebra education indicates an upswing in interest in quadratic equations research; however, the general trend of quadratic equation studies is not known. Research, which systematically analyzes quadratic equation studies in the field of mathematics education, will be a guide for the researchers who plan to research this subject matter. Furthermore, displaying the content of quadratic equation studies will be a guide for mathematics teachers in finding the resources to reach alternative teaching methods. This study aimed to review both descriptively and thematically the quadratic equation studies in the field of mathematics education conducted in the period of 2000 to 2021. For this aim, both descriptive and thematic content analysis were used. 42 articles and 9 theses conducted between 2000 and 2021 were examined and analyzed. The findings of this study displayed that although current research in algebra education showed interest in quadratic equation studies, the number of the studies was quite scarce, and the studies still lack sufficient scope. Particularly, more studies should be conducted by considering mathematics teachers' and pre-service mathematics teachers' knowledge for teaching quadratic equations from different perspectives. The purpose of this study is to carry out a thematic review of graduate theses published in Türkiye about 21st-century skills. The thematic review process, a holistic perspective on 21st-century skills will be provided and it will guide researchers who want to research on the subject. According to the fact that the graduate theses are published by the National Thesis Centre in Türkiye, a total of 133 graduate theses were reached. In the study in which the document analysis method was used, graduate theses were analysed using the analysis matrix. In the analyses matrix, there were seven themes: year and type, region of publication, subject, preferred approach type, method and model used, research group/sample/participant group, and emphasised results. When the obtained data were analysed, it was found that the number of graduate theses published in Türkiye about 21stcentury skills has increased significantly in the last three years; a higher number of graduate theses were published in Central Anatolia and Marmara Regions; graduate theses conducted to determine the relationship between variables/demographic variables and teaching methods and techniques with these skills have a high rate in the subject area; the number of theses based on quantitative approach is higher than the number of theses based on other approaches; the number of theses in which descriptive research methods are preferred differs significantly from the number of theses in which other research methods are preferred; in the research group variable, studies were carried out with groups such as pre-service teachers, teachers, students, administrators, documents and academics; the effect of variable/demographic variable and the effect of teaching methods and techniques on 21st-century skills were highly emphasised. The Accountability Index is typically used to scrutinise and assess the organisational accountability level. Accordingly, this study explored the various contexts of the accountability index and investigated its function in controlling organisational behaviour towards good governance related to management and reporting. Hence, this study adopted a thematic review based on searches of past publications on the accountability index in Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), and Mendeley Web databases using specific keywords. A total of 203 published articles were identified in the first step, but only 29 papers were thoroughly reviewed upon screening the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results from the code-to-document reports using ATLAS.ti 9 software revealed patterns, trends, and mapping of the accountability index contexts in various forms of study. This study employed descriptive and thematic analysis. The descriptive analysis discusses the source title, research countries, research setting, and methodology. Through thematic analysis, this study highlighted the following themes: index development, index elements, and evaluation. These themes are interrelated, which enables monitoring of the strengthening of accountability in organisations. As a result of this thematic analysis, practitioners and academics can use it as a guideline to draw up an accountability index to assess the level of accountability in the scrutinised context. Digital assessment has become relevant as part of the digital learning process, as technology provides not only teaching and learning but also assessment, including productive feedback. With the rapid development of educational technology and the expansion of related research, there is a lack of research-based clarification of aspects of digital assessment without considering the impact of temporary pandemic solutions. The purpose of this thematic review is to summarize key features in studies over a specified period of time (2018–2021); consequently, it does not offer completely new knowledge, but captures essential knowledge of the last few years before the pandemic to avoid losing a significant aspect of digital assessment due to temporary pandemic solutions. The review results in a description of digital assessment that includes its conditions, opportunities and challenges, as well as other characteristics. The findings confirm the importance of digital assessment in the modern educational process and will increase the understanding of digital assessment among those involved in education (administrators, educators and researchers), inviting them to consider possible pedagogical principles. The term ‘adaptation’ is commonplace in conservation research and practice, but often without a reflection on the assumptions, expectations, or frames of reference used to define goals and actions. Communities of practice (e.g. conservation researchers, protected areas managers) have different interpretations of climate change impacts on biodiversity and different ways of defining, operationalizing and implementing adaptation. Their cognitive and motivational expectations for the future are associated with different paths to reach such desired futures. To understand how adaptation is framed in conservation, we undertook a systematic review with a thematic synthesis of the definitions of the term as used in the academic conservation literature. From a sample of 150 articles, only 36 provided a definition of adaptation. We critically appraised the explicit definitions to identify emergent themes that represent particular adaptation approaches. Themes were then grouped, and each group was assigned to a scholarly tradition, onto-epistemological approach and theoretical perspective. Based on theoretical perspectives on social change, we propose a framework (including individual cognitive basis, social interactions, and openness to alternatives) to analyse how change is framed in the definitions and how the framings influence adaptation options. The grouped themes represent passive, active, or indirect adaptation approaches. We used these themes to generate a conceptual model to guide conservation researchers and practitioners engaged in climate adaptation research, policy and management to aid reflection and understanding of the options available to design adaptation agendas and allow negotiation of diverse interests, views and expectations about the future.

The usage and values of cannabis, or cannabis for medicinal purposes, have been historically recognised since ancient times. Evidence from clinical research demonstrated the therapeutic advantages of cannabis in an extensively wide area of medicinal aspects. Resultantly, many nations have decided to legalise the medicinal use of cannabis. Despite the international recognition of medical cannabis, Malaysia maintains the status quo of cannabis prohibition as a highly addictive drug with no medicinal value. The Malaysian government argues that the harmful effects of medical cannabis legalisation outweigh the benefits. No review paper has discussed the current research patterns on the impact of medical cannabis legalisation, while thematic review studies on this issue are limited. Therefore, this article synthesised literature from 2017 to 2021 to identify research patterns and recent academic discussions on the impact of medical cannabis legalisation. A keyword search and screening process utilising Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases inclusion criteria yielded 718 peer-reviewed academic journal articles. Nonetheless, only 72 articles were selected for final evaluation following the exclusion and inclusion process. The thematic review of the 72 publications identified 19 preliminary codes on the impact of medical cannabis legalisation. The ATLAS.ti 9 software was utilised to conduct the theme analysis review of the selected articles. The quantitative results presented the research patterns of the impact of medical cannabis legalisation. Additionally, the qualitative analysis generated five main themes developed in the literature on the impact of medical cannabis legalisation, namely (1) impact on health, (2) impact on policy, (3) impact on society, (4) impact on health system, and (5) impact on criminal activities. The findings will benefit future studies on implementing medical cannabis law (MCL) in Malaysia. Unfortunately, this study is limited to Scopus and WoS databases, and the impact of recreational cannabis legalisation is not included. This study aims to review the ethnoscience studies in science education in Indonesia thematically. From 2010 to 2020, the databases contained 71 relevant articles of ethnoscience studies. These studies belonged to the content analysis theme parameters of method/design, sample, data collection, data analysis, topic, result, recommendation, and location. The results indicated that most of the ethnoscience studies explored the effect of integrating ethnoscience with the lessons to investigate students’ achievement and attitudes towards science. Correspondingly, the investigated studies mostly used Research and Development (R D) and experimental research design. The preferred data collecting techniques were tests (multiple-choice/description), questionnaires, and observation. Moreover, seventh and eighth graders of junior high school commonly employed the argumentation activities in physics, chemistry, biology, and basic concept of science topics. This study suggests the teachers employ different methods (e.g., ethnoscience) to improve concept understanding, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and motivation in learning science from the primary school level. Furthermore, resources from cultural activities in Indonesia are beneficial for integrating ethnoscience in learning.

Under the Malaysian Construction Industry Transformation Programme (CITP) 2016–2020, IBS has been proposed as one of the alternative solutions for replacing conventional construction. Numerous IBS advantages have been documented and discovered since its first implementation in the 90s’. However, the literature still has inadequate studies that deliberate on IBS issues. Hence, this paper adopts a thematic review based on the issues captured in publications pertaining to IBS from 2016 to 2021. The strategy of this article involved an investigation via an extensive review paper on IBS and analysis using thematic review. The findings from the code-to-document report in ATLAS.ti 8 revealed several issues in IBS based on the pattern highlighted in the literature. The outcomes are expected to benefit the direction of future research and to identify the gap for future solutions in IBS-related projects in Malaysia.

As cultural tourism expands, globalisation and localisation have become contradictory terms. Souvenirs are fast becoming crucial for promoting cultural tourism while maintaining a pivotal role in enhancing a country’s image. Design is essential for souvenir production and the primary method by which souvenirs create value. Despite the growing number of publications on souvenirs, few reviews examine the development and strategies of souvenir design and its future directions. Therefore, this study’s specific aim is to report on the outcomes of a thematic review analysis examining souvenir research from a design perspective, addressing the knowledge and methods required in practice-based souvenir design. Data for this study were collected using a thematic review analysis of 51 publications from 2012 to 2022, and the ATLAS.ti 8 code-to-document review findings indicate the patterns needed by researchers. The analysis shows five central themes: 1) culture-oriented design; 2) customer-oriented product design; 3) design method; 4) regional development; and 5) sustainability. The results suggest that future research trends in souvenir design should focus on locality-based development strategies and sustainability for promoting local culture and economies. This work will generate fresh insight into new guidelines for research trends in souvenir design.

Forest certification was introduced in the late 1980s as a countermeasure to address the deforestation and forest degradation issues which caused major concern among environmental activists. Forest certification was promoted as a voluntary tool to ensure that only timber and timber products from sustainably managed forests were marketed. Although much literature has been published on forest certification since its introduction, not many review papers are available that discuss various contexts of forest certification studies. This review was motivated by the stand that the forest certification system must be strengthened to enhance its contribution to sustainable forest management. Therefore, this review aims to synthesise the discussions on sustainable forest certification published in academic literature from 2017 to July 2021 and to identify potential future areas of study. The paper explores the forest certification debate through an extensive literature review by adopting a thematic review approach. The ATLAS.ti 8 tool was used to facilitate the thematic analysis of forest certification literature dating from 2017 to 2021. A thematic review of 70 articles identified 135 initial codes describing the context of forest certification studies. These were grouped into three main clusters: enabling conditions, execution and evaluation. The review revealed that most studies were conducted to investigate issues relating to the implementation and impact of forest certification, while a limited number of studies were conducted on the enabling conditions of effective forest certification implementation. The review contributes to the existing findings on current forest certification literature and can be used as a guideline to identify future areas of forest certification studies. It is proposed that future research should examine how to design effective forest certification planning and management to maximise its potential contribution to sustainable forest management.

Double deviation (failure to satisfactorily recover from a service failure) is a common phenomenon that has recently attracted significant research interest, but the academic literature lacks a study mapping and synthesizing the field. This article undertakes filling this gap by systematically reviewing the double deviation literature. The review classifies the literature into causes, consequences, moderators, and double service recovery and identifies research themes and future research directions within them. Key current research themes are ineffective recovery remedies and cognitive appraisal criteria as causes; emotivational goals, revengeful and reparative behaviours as consequences; firm–customer relationship‐based variables as moderators; and unique tactics of double service recovery. Reassessing the scope of double deviation, uncovering customers' discrete emotions during double deviation and ascertaining the commercial viability of double service recovery are some recommendations for future research. Digital Storytelling (DST) is defined as telling stories using digital means. It has been initially applied for diverse purposes, including in community development, therapeutic benefits, and as an aid in teaching and learning. DST has recently been broadly used on social media platforms for marketing, running campaigns, journalism, and much more. However, no comprehensive systematic or thematic review of DST in social media has been conducted. Accordingly, this paper aims to provide a thematic review of DST in social media. The thematic review was carried out on 50 articles published from 2016 to 2021. These 50 discrete studies were selected because they met the inclusion criteria based on the research question of this review. The thematic review used ATLAS.ti as a tool to assist the review process. The results indicated that DST in social media was appropriate for marketing, including branding and advertising. Besides, using DST in social media over the years for education, training, professional development, community development and services, running campaigns, and therapy has significantly impacted these areas. Digital assessment has become relevant as part of the digital learning process, as technology provides not only teaching and learning but also assessment, including productive feedback. With the rapid development of educational technology and the expansion of related research, there is a lack of research-based clarification of aspects of digital assessment without considering the impact of temporary pandemic solutions. The purpose of this thematic review is to summarize key features in studies over a specified period of time (2018–2021); consequently, it does not offer completely new knowledge, but captures essential knowledge of the last few years before the pandemic to avoid losing a significant aspect of digital assessment due to temporary pandemic solutions. The review results in a description of digital assessment that includes its conditions, opportunities and challenges, as well as other characteristics. The findings confirm the importance of digital assessment in the modern educational process and will increase the understanding of digital assessment among those involved in education (administrators, educators and researchers), inviting them to consider possible pedagogical principles. Furthermore, these findings are now comparable to and should be supplemented with post-pandemic insights and knowledge.

With the development of teachers' psychological cognition, the moral education curriculum develops as per the changes in times. Currently, a resurgence of interest on studying teachers' perceptions of the moral education curriculum has observed. This is because moral education curriculum of each country plays a unique role in the overall design of the country's education curriculum. However, studies on teachers' perceptions of the moral education curriculum are scarce, and no framework has been developed to guide the teaching and learning of teachers for the moral education curriculum for schools. The moral education curriculum serves as one of the main vehicles for value education, with teachers as direct executors. It can influence the overall development of the school system and long-term development of a country. Thus, in this paper, we reviewed current literature related to teachers' perceptions of the moral education curriculum and developed future trends considering teachers' perceptions of the moral education curriculum in improving existing moral education programs in a country. We identified a list of keywords related to moral education curriculum and teacher perceptions and relevant to the scope of this study. These keywords were used to search the articles from the Scopus and WoS studies. Overall, 32 papers meeting the search criteria were retrieved. Further, we conducted thematic studies, and four themes were successfully identified: the model of teacher perceptions of moral and national education, the dimensions of the teacher ethics model (framework), teaching strategies, and the role of teachers. The results of this study suggested a new framework for research trends in teachers' perception models, particularly toward the moral education curriculum. This study contributed to the knowledge regarding teaching and learning approaches of moral education considering teachers' perceptions of the moral education curriculum. Online-to-offline (O2O) commerce is a popular business model which links offline business activities with online channels. Consumer behavior in O2O commerce is more complex than in other traditional business models as both online and offline channels are involved. Despite the growing number of publications focused on this issue, no review paper has discussed the current research trends and factors influencing consumer behavior in O2O commerce. Therefore, this review aimed to synthesize literature on O2O commerce from 2015 to April 2022, focusing on consumer behavior. A set of inclusion and exclusion criteria was developed for searching and screening articles from two dominant databases (i.e., WOS and Scopus), and 53 eligible articles were included in this review. A thematic review approach using ATLAS.ti 9 software was conducted. Quantitative results presented the research trends of O2O commerce. Qualitative analyses generated eight main clusters of factors which influence consumers' O2O behavior: (1) service and product quality, (2) technical and utilitarian factors, (3) emotional and hedonic factors, (4) trust and risk, (5) price and cost (6), social factors, (7) online content, and (8) habit. Food waste is at the center of intense debate in the scientific arena. Food waste management has often been described as the key to food waste reduction, especially to reduce pressure on landfill sites. Households frequently contribute a large amount of food waste generation, making it a focal research point. Despite increasing publications on the continuous food waste issue, a review paper looking at the trends and patterns of household food waste management research is not readily available. Accordingly, this review is motivated by the belief that food waste management should be handled from the source, namely tackling household food waste. To achieve this purpose, this article will review current literature for the past five years on food waste management at the household level using thematic review via ATLAS.ti 8. A list of keywords related to the scope of review was identified. Following the identification of keywords, article search was conducted in Scopus and Web of Science. A total of seventy-five papers made it to the final stage, after going through the inclusion and exclusion process. A themed review was carried out, and five final themes were identified: technology and application; behavior and model development; policy and intervention; sustainability and circular economy; evaluation, assessment, and quantification. As a result, the pattern obtained from the thematic review highlighted existing gaps in the literature and suggests future research into food waste management at source, representing a significant contribution to research development in the future. While abundant research has investigated the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language (EFL) writing in college contexts, there has been little examination of writing in primary and secondary school settings. It is important to understand the writing literacy development of young EFL learners and to explore instruction that supports their growth as writers. For research and pedagogical purposes, we conducted a review of 136 studies of EFL writing in primary and secondary school contexts from 2012 to 2019 concerning three themes: (1) contexts and participants, (2) research foci and theoretical orientations, and (3) research methodology and data sources. The findings offer a broad picture of the scholarship on EFL writing in school contexts over the last eight years and suggest future directions for researching and teaching EFL writing in primary and secondary school contexts. Analysis of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) experiences numerous reviews and deliberations. In the earlier publications, these analyses introduce the diversity of research trends. Nevertheless, no review paper examines TVET research trends in the literature following its farreaching studies. However, the critical drive to satisfy youth’s economic demands now compels complete execution in the entrepreneurial education domain to create awareness of its weight to revive the economy. Therefore, this systematic review aimed to present literature from 2010 to 2020 associated with TVET research trends following thematic review. The researcher attended a keyword search, supported by a filter applying inclusion criteria from Scopus, Mendeley, Science Direct, Eric and Emerald Insight databases, and recognised 69 scholarly articles. Consequently, its thematic review confirmed six central themes; the need to revise current TVET educational approaches and strategies, entrepreneur intentions, the need for substantial networking with industry players, promote selfemployment, foster self-efficacy and entrepreneurship motivations. Throttle body (TB) role in regulating air for internal combustion engine (ICE) is crucial and proven beneficiary for ICE performance. Researchers have shown interest in the study of TB which is reflected by the numbers of publication on TB. Between 2011 and 2021, seven review articles with keyword "throttle body" were published in Science Direct investigating on alternative fuel, enhancement on fuel injection technology and control system. Despite the reviews highlighted above, there remains a paucity of review on TB design. Therefore, this study gathered literatures from year 2011 to 2021, focusing on Scopus and Science Direct databases to investigate and analyse numbers of publications relating to TB design. Out of 186 publications found, only 49 articles were chosen after the inclusion and exclusion process. The findings highlighted six themes or patterns in research of TB design which are categorize as airflow study, control system design, design process study, manufacturing / production, new approach TB, and performance study. Background and Purpose: The Integrated Reporting framework as emphasised by The International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) in 2013 (revised 2021), was accepted as one of the mechanisms nationwide to enhance public accountability. However, far fewer studies examined the intersection of the Integrated Reporting (IR) framework and the public sector. Addressing the gap, reviews of the literature were presented synthesising the adoption of the IR framework across public administration. Methodology: By drawing upon SCOPUS, Science Direct and Mendeley databases were employed to generate academic literature beginning in 2011 through 2020. Following the inclusion and exclusion processes, 23 articles were selected and analysed by using ATLAS.ti 8. Findings: The findings of the review were discussed qualitatively and quantitatively. Particular discerning were the qualitative findings; the findings outlined insights into key developments on the IR framework across the following groups, namely, 'Fundamental Concepts', 'Guiding Principles', and 'Content Elements'. Key aspects of challenges concerning the adoption of existing frameworks in public administration were discussed. Contributions: Future research might better consider developing a more appropriate IR framework for public administration, a framework that integrates policy and practice. By focusing on the academic literature emphasising the IR framework, academics, regulators, and reporting organisations could formulate appropriate strategies for public administration. The global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus has had a disruptive and profound impact on English-language teaching. To reduce the spread of the virus, teachers and learners had to suspend in-person teaching and learning. This led to the widespread adoption of synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Obviously, this period has led to immense challenges for teachers and students alike, but it has also provided a unique opportunity to understand the potential affordances of online teaching in English-language teaching. This study, a systematic thematic review of empirical studies pertaining to English-language teaching and the COVID-19 pandemic, identifies and analyses the key knowledge generated by the English-language-teaching community during the pandemic. The article contains an overview of the reports of the XVII International Symposium of the International Dostoevsky Society (July 14-19, 2019, Boston). The scientific forum was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the first publication of the novel The Idiot. The review shows the main thematic trends of contemporary studies on Dostoevsky. First, the reports continue the dispute about the specifics of the central character of the novel and still sharply divide the sympathizers of the “critical” and “apologetic” view of Prince Myshkin. Another matter of interest is the study of translation problems, cross-cultural interpretation of the novel, dynamics of perception of the novel in the 20th century and its influence on modern literature, interdisciplinary reports analyzing the novel from the standpoint of other humanities. A significant part of the reports has traditionally been devoted to the problems of novel poetics, and it seems that among American researchers there is a tendency to rethink the methodological tradition of Bakhtin. Relatively fewer speeches contained interesting results of studies about the philosophical context of The Idiot and other Dostoevsky’s texts. The article also emphasizes the high significance of historical and biographical reports, which shed light on unknown circumstances of the real context of the novel. The article especially highlights a number of methodologically innovative reports that actually open up new directions in Dostoevsky’s research. Following the opinions of the most prominent domestic and foreign scholars, the author states the high scientific level of the symposium, emphasizing the exceptional value of such a scientific dialogue. At the same time, the article concludes that there are not enough close links between domestic and English-speaking (primarily American) studies of Dostoevsky. Researchers from different countries often do not know the works of their colleagues, even when they have common research objects. From this point of view, monothematic scientific meetings, such as the Boston Symposium 2019, can be extremely useful.
