The work deals with social fieldwork with the elderly. The teoretical part in the first chapter describes old age, aging, physical and psychological changes in old age and the needs of the elderly. The second chapter is devoted to the family of the elderly and its importance in caring for them in cooperation with field social services. The third capter deals with social fieldwork - care service and personal assistance and care allowance. It also describes the field social services of the organization Charita Horažďovice. The practical part of the thesis contains research, the aim of which is determine the adequacy of the services offered by Charita Horažďovice and the need to expand the services by personal assistance. The research was conducted among the clients - elderly of Charita Horažďovice.

The bachelor thesis deals with the role of field social services in the home environment of a senior. In the introduction to my bachelor thesis, I focus on meeting the needs of seniors and describe the characteristics of their needs. I also approach a well-functioning family in old age. In the next part I characterize the family, its important role playing for the senior. I describe the importance of the home environment for the elderly and characterize the coexistence of several generations. I conclude the theoretical part with the issue of social issues. In the practical part I evaluate the results of answers to the questions by the method of semi-structured interview. My goal is to find out how the entry of social work can help in caring for a senior in their home environment.

This Diploma thesis deals with the possibility od use of person-centered approach in field social work in streetwork. This thesis is made on the basis of a research of relevant literature. The theoretical part describes metamfetamin and other most commonly used drugs, along with defining the target population of metamfetamin users. Furthermore, the streework and the person-centered approach are disscussed. The thesis also illustrates an alternative method of harm reduction psychotherapy, which is further decribed in a example case of a client.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of homelessness and its solution through field social work. In the theoretical part, I analyze the issue of homelessness, specifically the causes of its origin, forms and types of homelessness and possible solutions to homelessness. I also analyze the history, principles, forms and methods of field social work. In the practical part, I draw on the knowledge of the theoretical part of the work and on its basis I conduct research. I conduct research in the form of qualitative research using semi-structured interviews with social workers working with this target group. At the end of the work I evaluate the findings from the theoretical part of the work and part of the research survey and evaluate whether the theory of providing field social work coincides with practice and on what basis field social workers provide field program.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out and describe job duties of a Field worker and map the positives and reefs of the working life of these workers in České Budějovice. One research question has been chosen: 1."How is that burnout syndrome effects Field workers?" The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part describes theoretical basis. Specifically definition of outreach work, terminology, history, outreach work in Czech Republic, legislation, target groups, forms and methods of field social work, specifics of field social work, ethical principles, screening, social services using the "streetwork" method, the concept of burnout syndrome and supervision as prevention of burnout syndrome. I worked on the practical part using a qualitative strategy, questioning method and semi-structured interview technique. I conducted interviews with field workers in České Budějovice, that I addressed on the basis of the snowball sampling method. The interviews were evaluated using the open coding method. I created eight categories. Research has shown which positives and negatives are perceived by field social workers on their work and how their work is perceived by society and whether field workers in České Budějovice encountered burnout syndrome. Based on the evaluation of the interviews, it was found that the society need to gain more awareness of what field workers do and how important their work is. The results of the bachelor thesis can serve as a basis for further research into the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on field social services. This thesis can also serve as study material.

The aim of the diploma thesis was "to examine the implementation of case management in working with clients in selected field social services in the South Bohemian region." The main research question was formulated as follows: "How do field social services in the South Bohemian Region provide case management?" The theoretical part deals with case management in the Czech Republic and abroad. It provides insight into its division, principles of use or specifics that social services bring. In terms of methodology, a qualitative research strategy was used, led by the method of questioning and the technique of semi-structured interview. To obtain answers to the main research question, the following partial research questions were set: "What is the form of case management that is provided for field social work in the South Bohemian Region?", " What are the benefits of the case management methods that organizations identify?" And "What barriers of case management methods do organizations identify?". The research group consisted of representatives of organizations that provide field social services "field program" according to Act No. 108/2006 Coll., On social services, as amended. In order to be able to participate in the research, organizations need to operate in the territory of the South Bohemian Region. For the first partial research question, the following clusters were identified: cooperation, teamwork, networking of the client. For the second sub-research question, the following clusters were identified: support, networking and new perspectives. For the third research question, the following clusters were identified: low development of case management, competition, small amount of literature, educational events. The results obtained within the research can be used in the implementation, development or planning of specific care using the case management method for registered social services with a field program service.

The work focuses on the different approaches, theories, trends, and specifics of women's motivation and reasons to join social field work. In the empirical part of the work, we focused on finding out the paths of women to field work, their initial motivation and explore the topics of sexual and bullying behaviour, safety, and the importance of supervision. The research was carried out to prepare this diploma thesis. In this context, the aim of the research was to describe the execution of social field work from the perspective of women and analyse their path to this work, their motivation, the issue of sexual and bullying behaviour and safety in the period January-June 2020. The thesis "The construction of an educational program for field social workers in excluded areas" focuses in its topic on one of the social work approach - field social work. It addresses the field social work performed in the areas in the Usti region which are labelled as "socially excluded Roma areas" and primarily addresses the personality of social worker and his or her professional competencies. The aim of the thesis is a construction of an educational program reflecting knowledge, skills and competencies needed for effective and high quality professional performance. I based this topic on knowledge from the field social work, work with ethnic minority approaches and andragogy. I also included topic of Roma people focused on specific needs of Roma arising from their history, culture and tradition. I also mention recent situation in social exclusion of Roma people in the Czech Republic. I analyze the knowledge, summarize it and strive to make a comprehensive view on this specific category of social work. This dissertation is about outreach care service in the Czech republic, its history and present situation including the history of legislation. The next mention is about standards of quality social services which are legal obligation. The significant part is to treatise of emergency situations in care service in close link to care service and its survey of its frequency of approaches of carers workers and their solutions. In conclusion there is an aim to suggest universal set of methods how to deal with these situations.

Bachelor thesis on Harm reduction services in the Czech Republic and abroad theme is focused on methods to reduce the risk of drug addicts. It deals with the description of the various services offered in the Czech Republic, Great Britain, United States of America and the Russian Federation. In the thesis explains the concept of harm reduction, principles, strategies and attitudes. I deal with the concept of prevention and drugs that are inherent to components of harm reduction. The work is led by a theoretical order to compare services offering methods to reduce risk across the different countries. Describes various services such as needle and syringe exchange, testing for STDs , condom distribution and other ways to reduce risks in the drug scene. In the Czech Republic these services take place most often in areas of contact centers, where social workers caring for clients with drug addictions who are currently unable or unwilling to abstain or in their natural environment by the outreach services. This thesis treats the service "Field Social Work in vulnerable families" provided by Diakonie of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren - The Center of Christian Aid in Prague. This service is regarded as one of the most effective types of interventions to vulnerable families. The support of such families is based both on the concept of social functioning and related life situations, as well as on the approaches and concepts (paradigms of social work) of the specific field social workers. The process of evaluating the life situation of a family is rather a difficult one which until today has not been standardized throughout the Czech Republic. On the 1st January 2013 a new Decree No. 473/2012 Coll. came into force, introducing a form designed for evaluating the life situations of a child. Since then there has been an ongoing reform in the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children. The service Field social work in vulnerable families would like to follow this reform. The work deals with the methodology of street social work with the specialization in target group of the Third World foreigners. The work has theoretical-empirical character. The theoretical part explains basic terms related with this issue, it describes the social work, concerns its methodology, target groups, street social worker and his authority and skills. The important chapters are dedicated to the social work with migrants and description of the foreign communities. Empirical part of the work is focused on the interpretation of practical experiences with the methodology of street social work with the Third World foreigners. These data are based on the implementation of the street social work with immigrants in the area of Plzeň city alone.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to familiarize with offer of welfare services for homeless people in Benešov City on the basis of theoretical knowledge and information about phenomenon of homelessness. Also to show the influence of social services offer on the life of homeless person, to call attention to other connections and importance of a form of social service help in a role of low-cost daily centre, doss-houses and field services for people without shelter. For research part of the thesis was chosen a qualitative research for its possibilities to examine some specific broadly defined phenomenon and to bring sufficient amount of information about it. Case study method was used. Results of the research part are summarized in the end. The effect of use of social services offer for homeless people in Benešov city on the quality of their lives is exposed. Discovered conclusions point out to importance of help and support which is offered through social services.

The bachelor thesis introduces various organizations that deal with the problematics of the Roma ethnic group. It is focused on the contemporary situation of the Roma and for Roma organisations in the Czech Republic, their provided services and the way of their financial support. The work also gives information of the representative organizations which provide mainly free time programs for Roma kids and teenagers and it introduces their particular activities. The essential meaning of streetwork and the institutions focused on the children and teenagers from the socially weak environment is explained here as well. The problematics of Roma children educational proces is also mentioned. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on the Daytime centre for the kids and teenagers in Žďár nad Sázavou. Its contemporary condition and merit of the programmes are evaluated here.

The Bachelor´s thesis deals with social fieldwork in relationship with Romany users. It is dividend into a theoretical part and an applied part. In the theoretical part there are Romany community, history of this community and problems with social segregation characterised. There are specifics of social fieldwork with Romany minority like the one of possible methods of social work. In the study there are some problem areas in the life of Romanies in the context of social fieldwork. In the last chapter there is mentioned how social fieldwork in South Bohemian region works. The main purpose of the practical part of the thesis was to find out the importance of social fieldwork for Romanies. The research was made through interview in three cities of the South Bohemian region, in Milevsko, Písek and České Budějovice. Both social fieldworkers and their Romany clients were asked questions. The interviews were evaluated in the result presentation and after that summarized in the final discussion.

The aim of this work is to describe the field of social work with socially excluded people and associated problems and strengths, including the implications arising from this experience for users of the services and its providers, and practice in specific conditions and locations in the Pilsen region. The introductory theoretical part describes the general background of social field work, it defines the concept of the term social exclusion, and locations in Pilsen are presented (for example Jateční, Plachého, Resslova Street and others) with the specification of problems and needs of clients in those locations. The practical part is realized by expert interviews with social workers from the organization People in Need in Pilsen, and their aim is the definition of problematic lines of work. Questions focus on to measure the sense of meaning and satisfaction for social workers, whether their work meets the target of service, or what the objectives of services prevent, where social workers see the limitations of their work and whether the problems couldn´t be influenced by their activities.

This dissertation on Harm Reduction approach in the prevention of drug addictions deals with tertiary drug prevention. It aims to show the importance of how much information about this topic students at comprehensive schools get and have. The theoretical part provides some information about the consequences of drug addiction in general, about drug prevention, substitution treatment, Harm Reduction approach and the services involved. The practical part presents the results of a survey which aimed to map the awareness of students from selected comprehensive schools in the South Bohemian region of the Harm Reduction approach.

This work deals with possibilities of crisis intervention in work of social worker. The theoretical part deals about crisis, types of crises, course of crisis, help in crisis. It entertains about informal and formal help in crisis. Furthermore, it engages in crisis intervention. It entertains about titles to competences and skills of worker in crisis intervention. It submits possibilities of parts of social worker in crisis intervention in specialist literature. The practical part connected with theoretical part and summerizes results of inquire about a part of social worker in crisis intervention in workplaces of crisis intervention.

The diploma thesis deals with maximum questionary yield. The theoretic part describes social work and social field work. In its second part the civic association Ječmínek, the home for mothers (fathers) with children, is presented. It is mainly focused on description of the project {\clqq}The field work with the endangered groups``. The work contains theoretical processing of term social exclusion with concentration on sketch of problematic spheres which concern about the life in exclusion. Work analyses in detail an action of social exclusion, his reasons and mechanisms, and describes possibilities and instruments of prevention of these problems. The research part of this work deals with a practical processing of situation in Krupka in context of social exclusion. Is focusing on monitoring of social excluded locality of Karel Čapek and Dukelských Hrdinů, especially on section of habitation and employment, in which streertwork proceeds in frame of Programmes of social integration of society Člověk v tísni (People in Need). By the help of analysis of provided social services in this locality the work documents results of the streetwork. In conclusion of this work is evaluated impletion of research´s objects. Ascertained facts refer to state of social exclusion in locality of Karel Čapek and Dukelských Hrdinů and give an impulse for discussion about possible forms of resolution of these problems and about development of cooperation of local municipal government with nonprofit organizations. The practical part of this work is closed with compilation of hypothesis.
