Title: Telerehabilitation Intervention in Pediatric Occupational Therapy Abstract: The goal of this thesis is to evaluate advantages and disadvantages of telerehabilitation in pediatric occupational therapy with pre-school children. At the beginning terminology and history of telerehabilitation is discussed. The thesis continues with evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of telerehabilitation in occupational therapy and selection of suitable guidelines for practical part of thesis. In practical part, the occupational therapy intervention with two pre-school children is designed and carried out. The occupational therapy plan was designed, and in accordance with the plan the aids were made for the use of family as ergo box. The telerehabilitation intervention took place in the form of weekly consultations with parent. During the consultations, parents were given the tasks for the child for the next week and the progress of the previous week was evaluated. Background Physiotherapy represents a valuable intervention applied to COVID-19 patients suffering from respiratory symptoms. Objective To assess the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic modalities on pulmonary function, physical function, and psychosocial effect of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Methods A comprehensive systematic literature search of CINAHL, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library, and Scopus was done to retrieve potential peer-reviewed articles that assessed the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic modalities on pulmonary function, physical function, and psychosocial effect of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Results Of the 1093 potential articles assessed, 9 met the inclusion criteria. The results demonstrated that respiratory rehabilitation improves respiratory function, exercise capacity, and quality of life in patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Conclusion Respiratory rehabilitation and telerehabilitation programs are effective in improving the functional capacity, quality of life, and respiratory function of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Šárka Altmanová Vedoucí práce: PhDr. Kristýna Hoidekrová, Ph.D. Title: Distance therapy and telerehabilitation in occupational therapy: contemporary use in patients after acquired brain injuries Abstract: Acquired brain injuries (ABI) are the most represented type of injuries in neurorehabilitation. In the Czech Republic, there is a shortage of outpatient occupational therapists. The involvement of telerehabilitation appears to be a possible solution to the lack of therapists. These methods are already being used with a good effect around the world. The aim of this thesis is to compare the possibilities of telerehabilitation against conventional occupational therapy in patients with ABI. A partial goal is to undertake a SWOT analysis of telerehabilitation and evaluate the communication platform eAmbulance. There are four single case studies. The patients are aged between 27-81 years (two women and two men) with different severity of right-sided hemiparesis. These patients underwent interventions of 60 minutes per week for a period of four weeks. The content of each therapy was different. Petra Sládková, Ph.D. Title: The possibilities of using pulmonary telerehabilitation for post-Covid 19 patients Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the issues related to Covid-19 and physiotherapeutic possibilities of influencing its effects. It focuces mainly on respiratory physiotherapy through telerehabilitation. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis gives a description of Covid-19 within its overall context, including pulmonary rehabilitation, the importance of early physiotherapy intervention and rehabilitation options in specific stages of the disease. In adition, the bachelor thesis describes a telerehabilitation and discusses its importance and connection with Covid-19. The practical part of the thesis presents an information brochure for post Covid-19 patients as well as case studies of three post Covid-19 patients. The subject of this master thesis is telerehabilitation in pacients with multiple sclerosis with a focus on patients with higher neurological deficit. Multiple sclerosis is a chronic degenerative disease affecting the central nervous system. According to the latest information (31.12.2021) from the ReMuS register there is 17 148 patients with a multiple sclerosis in the Czech republic. Altogether 71 % from this amount are women. The aim of this thesis is breifly introduce the topic of multiple sclerosis, its etiopathogenesis, diagnostic, symptomatology and therapy, with a focus on rehabilitation. Next chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to telemedicine. There are information about history of telemedicine, some possibilities of its use in other fields of rehabilitation and also describes some platforms which can be used for providing an online therapy. Practical part of the thesis consists of two sections. The first one contains a survey which investigates amount of awareness of telerehabilitation and also amount of interest of it in patients with multiple sclerosis, partially for the needs of the Saint Joseph's Home which plans to expand its rehabilitation services. Abstract of diplom thesis: The thesis (DP) deals with the issue of patients after acquired brain injury in distance occupational therapy and tele-ergotherapy. The main aim of the DP is to evaluate the quality of life, adherence and satisfaction of patients after acquired brain injury during distance occupational therapy and tele-ergotherapy. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first, theoretical part is based on the studied Czech and foreign literature. It deals with a short description of the individual types of acquired brain damage, rehabilitation in patients after acquired brain damage andthepossibility ofusing telerehabilitation (TR) and distancetherapy in occupational therapy in these patients. Total lower limb endoprosthesis was originally indicated in elderly patients, as the fear of wear and tear was ingrained in younger, more active patients. Nowadays, with advances in implant design and surgical technology, it has become a viable option for patients of productive age who are reducing pain in all aspects of life. The aim of this work is to evaluate the changes in working abilities in patients of productive age after total endoprosthesis of the lower limb, and to map the possibilities of physiotherapy that will be beneficial for returning to working life. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the anatomy of the hip and knee joint with their interconnection, types of total hip arthroplasty, its indications and contraindications. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the division of rehabilitation before and after implantation of a total endoprosthesis and other physiotherapeutic procedures. The term "work skills" and their changes are defined. The practical part is based on case reports of patients who are in different time horizons from TEP of the hip joint. A detailed initial kinesiological analysis was created with three probands together with therapy, short-term and long-term physiotherapy plan, final kinesiological analysis. A kinesiological analysis is created retrospectively with three other probands. The case studies are supplemented by a questionnaire. The results reflect the positive effect of physiotherapy on health status and changes in working abilities after total hip arthroplasty.

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of mobile apps in vestibular rehabilitation. The main purpose of this thesis is to provide market research of mobile apps currently available at Google Play Store. Additional goal is to provide an overview of current literature relating to the use of the mobile apps in vestibular rehabilitation. Theoretical section summarizes knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the vestibular system, vestibular compensation mechanisms and vestibular rehabilitation practice. It also provides a brief information about mHealth apps and rehabilitation apps. Following topic is a retrieval of the literature scoping mobile apps in vestibular rehabilitation and a search of mobile applications available on the Google Play Store, that are or may be intended for use in vestibular rehabilitation. Experimental section consists of two case reports of patients with vestibular hypofunction using mobile app for 4-week therapy. Title: The effect of individual telerehabilitation on functional mobility and balance in patients with multiple sclerosis Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to verify the usefulness of telerehabilitation in influencing balance disorders of people with multiple sclerosis and to describe the effect of telerehabilitation on balance disorders and functional mobility in patients with multiple sclerosis. The theoretical part aims to describe the current trends in telerehabilitation and therapy of balance disorders in patients with multiple sclerosis in the Czech Republic and abroad. Methods: The research group consisted of 20 probands with multiple sclerosis, who subjectively perceived balance disorders. The group was divided into control and experimental group in a ratio of 1:1. The experimental group underwent an online twelve-week training course conducted in the form of the individual telerehabilitation (twice per week, 45 minutes each intervention). The training included strength and balance exercises supplemented by the Homebalance device. of the Thesis: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to create a manual on iPad use for parents of children with special needs. The manual will be used in home-based therapy, which will be parents able to guide without continuous supervision of a professional worker. The theoretical part deals with the general procedures and methodologies of occupational therapy in the field of paediatrics, especially for children with special needs. In addition, the thesis discusses the use of technology, games and other apps in therapy, as well as the safety risks of overuse and misuse. The role of the family in the child's rehabilitative care and in home-based therapy is an integral part of the work. The practical part is based on a practical verification of the effectiveness of the tablet as a rehabilitation tool and the subsequent creation of a manual for working with the iPad. SGS20/214/OHK3/3T /37 ”Active learning of time series models”, the project No.FV −20696 “Personal health monitoring and assistive systems” The aim of this work is to assess the minimal technical requirements for using a simple RGB camera for motion sensing in a standard home environment. We experimentally verify the recording requirements for subsequent motion analysis. Our work contributes to the development of physical telerehabilitation without the need to use special HW and thus enable telerehabilitation for the general public, which is especially important during the COVID-19 lockdown. We have found out that such a system can work surprisingly well even with a low-cost camera in poor recording conditions and slow 3G internet connection.

Title: Detection of Signs of Fatigue in Functional Tests in Healthy Population by OpenPose Objectives: The aim of this study is if the OpenPose system can detect changes in range of motion and unwanted movements of other segments in repetitive a full arm abduction test with weight and a single leg stance based on comparation of changes in angles and relative distances between first and last seconds of the movement. Methods: This pilot study was dedicated to healthy people between 18 and 65 years. A video recording was made within an intervention while subjects were doing a full arm abduction test with weight and a single leg stance until the maximum endurance. Videorecording was processed by the OpenPose software which detects human movements base on algorithm without using a physical markers. Key point combinations (markers) were defined to obtain information about changes in movement and posture (angles, relative distances). Basic statistical measurements were done and compared between first and last seconds of the movement. Temporospatial data were collected to reach the results. Results: Almost all differences in key point combinations to detect arm abduction movement were evaluated as statistically significant. Title of bachelor thesis: Telephysiotherapy of patients after brain injury Abstract: The world is developing new medical direction - Telemedicine, which includes Telerephysiotherapy (TF). In the Czech Republic is the TF new direction in physiotherapeutical care. This thesis is one of the first, which deals with the condition after brain damage and physical therapy at home using videoconference call as one of the techniques telerehabilitation. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the information about brain damage, methods of treatment and physiotherapy. It also includes information about telemedicine, especially about telerephysiotheraphy its techniques and possibilities of use. The practical part deals with the question whether is the telephysioteraphy useful in patients after brain damage and consists of three case reports of patients who underwent physiotherapy through videoconferencing at home. Knowledge based on the international studies and practical experience is discussed in the end of this thesis, where is also answered the basic question of the thesis.
