Abstract

Günümüz Türk akademisinde kitap değerlendirmeleri önemli bir yere sahip olmaya başladı. Yazarların eleştiri veya takdirlerinin eserin niteliğine göre şekillendiği bu tarz yazılarda tarafsız olabilmek oldukça mühim bir mevzudur. Yakın bir süreçte Oku Okut Yayınları tarafından açık erişimle okuyucuya sunulan Prof. Dr. Muammer İskenderoğlu'nun yazarı olduğu "Kitap Değerlendirmesi Nasıl Yazılır?" adındaki eser, kitap değerlendirmelerinde yol gösterici bir rol üstleneceğini vaat etmektedir. Bu konudaki değerlendirme ilim camiasının takdirine bırakılmakla beraber bu yazı, bahsi geçen kitabın niteliğini ele almaktan ziyade 2. Bölümünün (Örnek Değerlendirme Yazıları) 3. Başlığında (Ömer Faruk Erdoğan Felek’in Felsefesi) şahsıma ve eserlerime yapılan eleştirileri değerlendirecektir.

Abstract

The cost of being a social scientist or analyzing social reality in Turkey involves, above all, a difficult and complex methodology learning process. Although this process does not make the one sophisticated, this is also ideal, it includes scientists' efforts to learn, in other words, the desire to advance on the "ideal". Therefore, there are some chronic methodological and theoretical problems in the academic analyzes of Turkish social scientists. This claim can be supported by various arguments. Tanel Demirel's work titled "Understanding Turkish Politics: An Essay on Approaches", published by Liberte Publications in 2019 presents comprehensive literature of exactly these arguments. His work's scope is confined to social science analyses examining Turkish politics and, he focuses on the Western origin-theoretical and methodological approaches imported by Turkish social science analyses., Türkiye’de sosyal bilimci olmanın ya da sosyal gerçekliğin analizini yapmanın maliyeti her şeyden evvel anlaşılması zor ve karmaşık bir yöntembilim öğrenme sürecine denk gelir. Ki bu süreç tam anlamıyla bir öğrenmeyi getirmemekle birlikte, hâlihazırda bu da bir idealdir, öğrenmeye çalışma çabalarını diğer ifadeyle “ideal olana” yaklaşma isteğini ihtiva eder. Tabii olarak ideal olamamanın göstergelerinden biri de Türk sosyal bilimcilerin akademik analizlerinde bir takım kronik yöntembilimsel ve kuramsal sorunların söz konusu olmasıdır ve bu tespit çeşitli argümanlarla desteklenebilir. Tanel Demirel’in 2019 yılında Liberte Yayınları’ndan çıkan “Türk Siyasetini Anlamak: Yaklaşımlar Hakkında Bir Deneme” adlı eseri, tam olarak bu argümanların araştırma evreni Türk siyasetini inceleyen sosyal bilim analizleriyle sınırlandırılmış kapsamlı bir literatürünü sunarak, bu analizlerin ithal ettiği Batı menşeili kuramsal ve yöntembilimsel yaklaşımlar üzerinde durmaktadır.

Turkic Academy was founded to fulfill specific mission and objectives as an international institution under the sponsorship of Turkic Council by the member states such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey. International Turkic Academy coordinating intensive relationship with scientific, academic, strategic and social institutions in the area of Turcology. However, Turkish Academy has been publishing mutual Turkic History books, Almanac and Anthology and also lots of academic books and scientific journals. Turkic Academy located in Astana-Kazakhstan has been regularly organizing international academic studies, forums, conferences, meetings, scientific seminars and, exhibitions since 2014. The aim of this paper is, to introduce organizational structure, authorities, operations, duties, objectives, mission and vision of Turkic Academy that is not well known in international area and even Turkic world.
