Airborne pollutants, such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), and waterborne contaminants, including heavy metals, dyes, and other pollutants, pose substantial environmental threats and jeopardize human health. Additionally, certain limitations have hindered the widespread application of some batteries, primarily attributed to elevated operating temperatures and the decreasing use of fossil fuels. In response to these challenges, cerium dioxide (CeO2) nanoparticles have garnered considerable attention due to their unique and advantageous physical and chemical properties. Furthermore, the incorporation of CeO2 into various coating materials has demonstrated the potential to significantly enhance their performance. In the realm of biotechnology, research into CeO2 nanoparticles continues to expand, encompassing a range of applications such as the scavenging of reactive oxygen species in biological systems, the development of anti‐inflammatory agents, and cancer research. Nevertheless, in these diverse applications, CeO2 still exhibits certain limitations that hinder the achievement of desired outcomes. The modification of CeO2 nanoparticles presents a promising avenue to address these limitations, thereby improving their overall efficacy. As such, this review aims to comprehensively compare and summarize various methods for the modification of CeO2 nanoparticles, elucidate their practical applications, and provide insights into the potential challenges and future prospects in this field. This paper aims to observe the language of university students writing a summary in the writing laboratory. The object of the observation (in the formative perspective of interlingua) is the ability to use a structured and hierarchical language (“propositional”) rendering the textual macrostructure previously analyzed in the laboratory.

The paper presents activities specifically conceived to stimulate high school students in the first two years to read, summarize and comprehend argumentative texts. Specifically this article describes exercises on contrastive summaries which, synthesizing a text, express an “assent-or-dissent” position with regards to the thesis expressed in the source text. These exercises have proved to be effective for students to reflect on vocabulary and some grammatical and textual structures.

The Holy Qur’an constitutes the broadest field from which scholars draw their topics. Because of its miraculous importance that no other text has, the linguist, jurist, fundamentalist, and rhetorician dealt with it to understand its meanings and discover the secrets of its miraculousness. The goal of the research was to find out some of the semantic relationships for the interpretation of (Marage AlTafakir fe Dacakc Al Tadaber of Contemplation and the Minutes of Contemplation), by Sheikh Abd alRahman al-Maidani (d. 1425 AH), who It falls within the standard of textual plotting in textual linguistics, as it relied on many semantic relationships in interpreting and clarifying the Book of God Almighty. The research plan required that it be divided into an introduction and three sections, which dealt with the introduction, the definition of semantic relationships, the life of the interpreter and its scientific effects, and the definition of interpretation. The first section dealt with the relationship of gradualism, while the second section dealt with the relationship of causality. The third section dealt with the relationship of generality and detail, in accordance with what the Qur’anic discourse requires, highlighting the most important results reached by the researcher, and presenting a list of the sources and references on which he relied. In retrospect of foreign literature studies in China from 1949 to 2019, we have to acknowledge two fundamental facts. Firstly, although in the initial 30 years of this period foreign literature studies in China largely followed the Soviet model, neglecting Western literary and cultural traditions to some extent--with over a decade under the influence of extreme "leftist" trends--it was during this time that the groundwork for the academic framework of foreign literature studies was painstakingly laid. Secondly, with the influx of Western ideas, foreign literature studies during the subsequent 40 years underwent a complete paradigm shift, providing the spiritual nourishment for and playing a pioneering role in liberating thought and rectifying disorders. However, this period saw a conspicuous adoption of Western paradigms in foreign literature studies, thereby somewhat abandoning certain valuable traditions and academic stances that ought to have been upheld. Meanwhile, foreign literature studies in this period also experienced an undiscriminating acceptance and hasty integration of ideas, leading to a mixture of the good and the bad. This essay provides an important overview of 70 years of foreign literature studies in China, though the specific situations are much more complex. In recent years, as the ideas of cultural confidence and a community of shared future for mankind deeply resonate with the public, the principles of serving the Chinese people and Chinese socialist cause are increasingly becoming significant recognitions within China's foreign literature scholarly community. Chronic hand eczema (CHE) is persistent inflammatory dermatitis that may significantly affect the quality of life, with psychosocial effects, impact on school, work, and leisure activities, influence on socioeconomic status, and high health care costs. Pediatric-CHE (P-CHE) has a high prevalence yet has not been extensively studied in children and adolescents. There is minimal published data on P-CHE in North America, and no specific management guidelines. Limited prevalence data show broad ranges (0.9%-4.4%) in preschool and school children, with 1 study stating up to 10.0% 1-year prevalence for ages 16 to 19 years. Atopic dermatitis and allergic contact dermatitis appear important in the pathogenesis of this disease process, although there is limited pediatric data assessing disease associations and no standardized methodology for evaluating this disorder. Given the potential life-changing consequences of P-CHE, further research into this disease process is warranted to help generate best therapeutic practices and minimize this disease process' morbidity in adulthood.

This study introduces MediBetter, a mobile application designed to empower patients undergoing routine medication in health monitoring and medication adherence. It is a mobile application designed to serve as a supportive health technology for patients to monitor their health status and manage their routine medication. It offers three main features: text-based daily self health report, AI-based summarization of the health report, and medication taking reminder. To evaluate the quality of generated summaries generated by both the user and AI (ChatGPT), we conducted human expert evaluation process. Furthermore, we also evaluated the usefulness of existing features in the app. The experiment results show that ChatGPT-generated summaries outperformed user-generated ones, demonstrating superior informativeness, coherence, fluency, consistency, and contradiction handling. In September 2017, Changting seismic station installed VP broadband tiltmeter. From its operation in recent years, the instrument has a high degree of automation and observation accuracy, which can provide more reliable observation data for earthquake analysis and forecast. However, its stability is poor. The output zero drift of VP broadband tiltmeter is serious, which often need to zero. Although the automatic zero device has been added, which can achieve remote zero function through the network to avoid interference with the instrument due to personnel entering the hole, the zero module often failure including motor overload, chip burn out. In this paper, the common faults of the VP broadband tiltmeter in daily observation were analyzed to seek solutions to instrument failure, and summarize the VP broadband tiltmeter daily maintenance. We can quickly determine the cause of the instrument failure, timely complete the instrument maintenance, ensure continuous and reliable data in the future similar problems in the observation process.

Twin gestations are associated with increased risk of pregnancy complications. However, high-quality evidence regarding the management of twin pregnancies is limited, often resulting in inconsistencies in the recommendations of various national and international professional societies. In addition, some recommendations related to the management of twin gestations are often missing from the clinical guidelines dedicated to twin pregnancies and are instead included in the practice guidelines on specific pregnancy complications (eg, preterm birth) of the same professional society. This can make it challenging for care providers to easily identify and compare recommendations for the management of twin pregnancies. This study aimed to identify, summarize, and compare the recommendations of selected professional societies from high-income countries on the management of twin pregnancies, highlighting areas of both consensus and controversy. We reviewed clinical practice guidelines of selected major professional societies that were either specific to twin pregnancies or were focused on pregnancy complications or aspects of antenatal care that may be relevant for twin pregnancies. We decided a priori to include clinical guidelines from 7 high-income countries (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Australia and New Zealand grouped together) and from 2 international societies (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics). We identified recommendations regarding the following care areas: first-trimester care, antenatal surveillance, preterm birth and other pregnancy complications (preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction, and gestational diabetes mellitus), and timing and mode of delivery. We identified 28 guidelines published by 11 professional societies from the 7 countries and 2 international societies. Thirteen of these guidelines focus on twin pregnancies, whereas the other 16 focus on specific pregnancy complications predominantly in singletons but also include some recommendations for twin pregnancies. Most of the guidelines are recent, with 15 of the 29 guidelines published over the past 3 years. We identified considerable disagreement among guidelines, primarily in 4 key areas: screening and prevention of preterm birth, using aspirin to prevent preeclampsia, defining fetal growth restriction, and the timing of delivery. In addition, there is limited guidance on several important areas, including the implications of the "vanishing twin" phenomenon, technical aspects and risks of invasive procedures, nutrition and weight gain, physical and sexual activity, the optimal growth chart to be used in twin pregnancies, the diagnosis and management of gestational diabetes mellitus, and intrapartum care.This consolidation of key recommendations across several clinical practice guidelines can assist healthcare providers in accessing and comparing recommendations on the management of twin pregnancies and identifies high-priority areas for future research based on either continued disagreement among societies or limited current evidence to guide care. Podcasts are one of the most recent innovations in media to enter orthodontics. The sector is worth an estimate 18 billion dollars and has a compound annual growth of 27 %. The popularity of on-demand audio and video podcasts has been attributed to ease of production and publishing, free access, the ability to listen whilst engaged with other activities, industry investment, community engagement, mobile data availability, and smartphone popularity. Podcasts however have the limitation of no formal peer review process, potential poor-quality production, and have possibility to mislead the audience. This paper seeks to describe the podcast sector with a focus on healthcare, as well as describes the experiences of two orthodontic podcasts, the Orthodontics in Summary Podcast and the Illuminate Orthodontic Podcast. The article presents the sociological study results on the preferred forms of medical students’ academic work in the era of digitalization. The study was carried out among students of the Volga Research Medical University using an online survey. The study purpose is to identify the attitude of various typological groups of medical students to various forms and methods of scientific and methodological support of the educational process, including the use of digital technologies. The work showed that behind the variety of medical students’ attitudes on the effectiveness of different forms of education, there is a willingness of young people to move away from traditional methods of obtaining professional knowledge and skills, and they clearly have a complex request for new forms of teaching, including using the Internet and electronic resources. The assessment of various forms and teaching methods has noticeable differences depending on the affiliation of students to various faculties. The article analyzes the students’ assessments of the various forms’ effectiveness of education using multidimensional data analysis, which made it possible to identify four types of student attitudes: 1) orientation to online learning; 2) live contact with the teacher; 3) electronic library; 4) work with summaries of educational materials. Notch signaling pathway plays an important role in cell development, differentiation, apoptosis, it also plays a broad regulatory role in immune diseases. The pathological features of rheumatoid arthritis （RA） include synovitis and pannus. Recurrent active RA can cause an imbalance between osteoblasts and osteoclasts, and ultimately lead to bone destruction. Studies have found that Notch signaling affects the proliferation and migration of synovial fibroblasts, the release of inflammatory factors from macrophages, angiogenesis, and bone destruction in active RA. In this research, the researcher edited the two chapters of Fasting and I'tikaf, in “Talkhīṣ Al-Matlab fī Talkhīṣ AlMadhab” by the Erudite Sheikh Fakhr Al-Din Abū Abdillāh, Muḥammad bin Al-Khiḍr Ibn Taymiyyah AlḤarrānī (d. 622H). Due to the significance of the issues of both chapters, and people’s perpetual need to them, in addition to the fact that it has never been edited or printed before. The researcher started with a preface where he introduced the au-thor, the book, the single available manuscript that was used, and the editing methodology, with keen consideration of the extant rules of editing manuscript texts. This book, “Talkhīṣ Al-Matlab fī Talkhīṣ Al-Madhab” subtly known as: “Al-Talkhīs,” is the middle one among the three summarized jurisprudence books of the author, and the most widespread and referred by scholars, due to its sig-nificance and valuable knowledge in Jurisprudence. The author followed the method of Abu Ḥāmid AlGhazālī in his book "Al-Wasīt", where he classified it based on genres and divisions in his chapters and sections. The researcher rec-ommends the study of of the jurisprudential choices of Al-Imām Al-Fakhr Ibn Taymiyyah, and the clarification of its influence on the standard opinion in the Ḥanbalī school. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an acute infectious disease. The global pandemic in the past three years has brought tremendous impact to people around the world. Its clinical symptoms are complex and diverse, and it is easy to cause a sub healthy state after infection, leading to a series of physical and mental health problems. As a common method of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion has played a good role in controlling and improving some symptoms of patients with COVID-19 infection, with high safety and no side effects. This article hereby collects and summarizes the reports on the treatment of COVID-19 patients with acupuncture and moxibustion around the world in the past few years. At the same time, it reads and counts the records of acupuncture and moxibustion and acupoints recorded in ancient Chinese books on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, aiming to provide ideas for the future use of traditional medicine in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. The soft ticks of the genus Reticulinasus Schulze, 1941 (family Argasidae Koch, 1844) are ectoparasites of the fruit bats of the Old World (Pteropodidae). Reticulinasus salahi (Hoogstraal, 1953) is the only representative of this genus that occurs in the western part of the Palaearctic. This unusual distribution reflects the distributon range of its primary host, Rousettus aegyptiacus (Geoffroy, 1810). In this contribution, we present a revised review of records of this tick that were made in two periods, 1951–1966 (records from Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Spain) and 2005–2019 (Cyprus, Iran, Oman), and additionally, we present notes, re-determinations, new records, and summary of hosts of this tick. Besides the primary host, the revised list of hosts comprises two bats (Taphozous perforatus Geoffroy, 1818, Otonycteris hemprichii Peters, 1859) and the human (Homo sapiens Linnaeus, 1758). We also tried to identify pathogens in specimens of this tick collected from R. aegyptiacus in Oman. The DNA of the Mouse herpesvirus strain 68 (MHV-68), of two bacteria, Borellia burgdorferii sensu lato, and Ehrlichia sp. almost identical (98%) with Candidatus Ehrlichia shimanensis was detected in several larvae specimens.
