Shallow water waves represent a significant and extensively employed wave type in coastal regions. The unconventional bidirectional transmission of extended waves across shallow water is elucidated through nonlinear fractional partial differential equations, specifically the space–time fractional-coupled Whitham–Broer–Kaup equation. The application of two distinct analytical methods, namely, the generalized logistic equation approach and unified approach, is employed to construct various solutions such as bright solitons, singular solitary waves, kink solitons, and dark solitons for the proposed equation. The physical behavior of calculated results is graphically represented through density, two- and three-dimensional plots. The obtained solutions could have significant implications across a range of fields including plasma physics, biology, quantum computing, fluid dynamics, optics, communication technology, hydrodynamics, environmental sciences, and ocean engineering. Furthermore, the qualitative assessment of the unperturbed planar system is conducted through the utilization of bifurcation theory. Subsequently, the model undergoes the introduction of an outward force with the aim of inducing disruption, resulting in the emergence of a perturbed dynamical system. The detection of chaotic trajectory in the perturbed system is accomplished through the utilization of a variety of tools designed for chaos detection. The execution of the Runge–Kutta method is employed to assess the sensitivity of the examined model. The results obtained serve to underscore the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed methodologies for the assessment of soliton structures within a broad spectrum of nonlinear models.

This study is used to investigate the exact explicit solutions and dynamical behaviors of the (1+1)-dimensional integrable system of Drinfel’d–Sokolov–Wilson equations in dispersive media. Firstly, the unified method is implemented to find explicit solutions in polynomial and rational forms. These solutions include rational, dark and bright soliton structures. After that, the planar dynamical system of the considered model is obtained using the Galilean transformation. The phase portraits of the bifurcations are drawn from the planar dynamical system for different physical parametric values using the fourth-order Runge–Kutta method. Further, an external force is imposed on the dynamical system to observe the phase portraits of chaotic trajectories. These tracks are outlined for different values of the strength and frequency of the external force acting on the dynamical system. The outcomes show that a given model has chaotic behvior as its solution becomes disordered by taking small variation in the strength and frequency of the external force. The results are new and can be helpful in investigating the dynamical behaviors of the other nonlinear physical models arising in optics, bio-mathematics and so many other fields of science.

The search for soliton structures plays a pivotal role in many scientific disciplines particularly in nonlinear optics. The main concern of the present paper is to explore the dynamics of soliton structures in a nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with the parabolic law. In this respect, the reduced form of the NLS equation is firstly extracted; then, its soliton structures are derived in the presence of spatio-temporal dispersions using the Kudryashov method. As the completion of studies, the impact of increasing and decreasing the coefficients of the parabolic law on the dynamics of soliton structures is formally addressed through representing several two- and three-dimensional figures. In this paper we give a detailed analysis on the existence of traveling wave (periodic) solutions to a generalized Klein–Gordon equation with a singular nonlinearity generated by two horizontal lines. In this paper, we use the modified exponential function method in terms of Kf(x) instead of ef(x)and the extended sinh-Gordon method to find some new family solution of the M-fractional paraxial non-linear Schrödinger equation. The novel complex and real optical soliton solutions are plotted in 2-D, 3-D with a contour plot. Moreover, the dark exact solutions, singular soliton solutions, kink-type soliton solution, and periodic dark-singular soliton solutions for M-fractional paraxial non-linear Schrödinger equation are constructed. We guarantee that all solutions are new and verified the main equation of the M-fractional paraxial wave equation. For existence, the constraint condition is also added.

In this article, under investigation is a defocusing Lakshmanan–Porsezian–Daniel optical (DLPD) system holding higher-order dispersion and higher-order nonlinear effects. Via applying the Darboux transformation method, new analytical solutions are obtained for the system. Some novel intersection solitons and their characteristics are found out under the certain parameter setting. There are four basic soliton structures: (i) bright-dark soliton with reduced amplitude at the intersection point; (ii) bright-dark soliton with increased amplitude at the intersection point; (iii) doubly-bright soliton with bright peaks; (iv) doubly-dark soliton with dark troughs. Furthermore, as the order of the solutions increases, there are more abundant and more complex structures at the intersection point. In this paper, we investigate novel kinklike structures in a scalar field theory driven by Dirac–Born–Infeld (DBI) dynamics. Analytical features are reached through a first-order formalism and a deformation procedure. The analysis ensures the linear stability of the obtained solutions, and the deformation method permits to detect new topological solutions given some systems of known solutions. The proposed models vary according to the parameters of the theory. However, in a certain parameter regime, their defect profiles are precisely obtained by standard theories. These are the models relatives. Besides that, we investigate the β − Starobinsky potential in the perspective of topological defects; and we have shown that it can support kinklike solutions, for both canonical and non-canonical kinetics. As a result, we propose two new kinds of generalizations on the β − Starobinsky model, by considering the DBI approach. Finally, we explore the main characteristics of such structures in these new scenarios. • The present work considers novel scalar field models with DBI-like kinetic term. • The novel analytical models are discovered through the deformation procedure. • We consider the Starobinsky potential to address its deformation in the DBI dynamics. • Their relatives may find applications in both cosmology and (non-)topological solutions. Abstract: The quantum hydrodynamic model is employed to study the soliton and chaotic structures of dust ion-acoustic waves in quantum dusty plasmas consisting of electrons, ions, and negatively/positively charged dust particles. By means of the reductive perturbation technique, two-dimensional Davey–Stewartson (DS) system is derived. By improving the extended projective method and the extended tanh-function method, a separation of variables solution with arbitrary functions for the Davey–Stewartson system is obtained. Many soliton and chaotic structures such as localized nonlinear coherent structure, line-soliton structure, periodic wave pattern structure, Rössler and Lorenz chaotic structures are given.
