Aufgrund der stetig wachsenden Weltbevölkerung und der fortschreitenden Urbanisierung der Großstädte, wurden neu errichtete mehrgeschossige Bauten seit Jahren mit dem altbekannten „grauen Gold der Bauindustrie“, dem Beton erbaut. Die Auswahl fiel auf Beton, weil dieser wirtschaftlich und vielseitig in seiner Eigenschaft sowie einfach in der Verarbeitung ist und eine schnelle Errichtung des geplanten Bauwerks ermöglicht. Heutzutage ist der Bausektor für ein beträchtlichen Anteil des weltweiten CO2-Ausstoßes verantwortlich. Die Baubranche ist demnach angehalten Verantwortung für unsere Umwelt zu übernehmen und zukunftsorientierte Lösungen zu schaffen, um diesen CO2-Ausstoß zu senken und den Verschmutzungen unserer Umwelt entgegenzuwirken. Teil einer solchen Lösung stellt das umweltfreundliche Holz dar. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die Holzhybridbauweise mit dem konventionellen Massivbau zu vergleichen. Dabei sollen Vor- und Nachteile beider Bauweisen herausgehoben und analysiert werden. Der Baustoff Holz leistet einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Holzhybridbauweise. Hierbei wird Holz mit anderen Baustoffen wie Beton oder Stahl kombiniert, um die positiven Eigenschaften der unterschiedlichen Baustoffe optimal zu nutzen. Die Nachteile eines Baustoffes, sollen mit den Vorteilen eines anderen Baustoffes kompensiert werden. Weiters soll anhand des Gebäudes „LC Tower One“ ein wirtschaftlicher Vergleich zwischen der Holzhybridbauweise und dem konventionellen Massivbau dargestellt werden. Die Aufbauten der Holzhybridbauweise werden laut Plan übernommen. Anhand dieser Pläne soll das Gebäude in der konventionellen Massivbauweise aus Stahlbeton umgerechnet werden. Nach der Berechnung sollen die tragenden Bauteile ab dem Regelgeschoss der jeweiligen Bauweisen wirtschaftlich miteinander verglichen werden. Am Ende dieser Arbeit soll ein Fazit gezogen werden, ob die Holzhybridbauweise eine Alternative zum konventionellen Massivbau darstellen kann, um den wirtschaftlichen und nachhaltigen Anforderungen an mehrgeschossigen Wohnungs- und Bürobau in Zukunft gerecht zu werden. Due to the constantly growing world population and the progressive urbanization of large cities, newly erected multi-storey buildings have been built for years with the well-known "gray gold of the construction industry", concrete. Concrete was chosen because it is economical, versatile in its properties, easy to work with, and enables the planned structure to be erected quickly. Today, the construction sector is responsible for a significant proportion of global CO2 emissions. The construction industry is therefore required to take responsibility for our environment and to create forward-looking solutions to reduce these CO2 emissions and counteract the pollution of our environment. Part of such a solution is the environmentally friendly wood. The aim of this paper is to compare the wood hybrid construction with the conventional solid construction. The advantages and disadvantages of both construction methods will be highlighted and analyzed. Wood as a building material makes a significant contribution to the wood hybrid construction method. Here, wood is combined with other building materials such as concrete or steel in order to make optimum use of the positive properties of the different building materials. The disadvantages of one building material are to be compensated with the advantages of another building material. Furthermore, an economic comparison between the wood hybrid construction method and conventional solid construction is to be presented on the basis of the building "LC Tower One". The superstructures of the wood hybrid construction are taken over according to the plans. Based on these plans, the building is to be converted to the conventional solid construction method using reinforced concrete. After the calculation, the load-bearing components starting from the standard floor of the respective construction methods are to be compared economically. At the end of this work, a conclusion is to be drawn as to whether the timber hybrid construction method can represent an alternative to conventional solid construction in order to meet the economic and sustainable requirements for multi-storey residential and office construction in the future.

Angesichts der immer größer werdenden Klimaveränderungen und damit verbundenen Problemstellungen werden Themen wie ‚Nachhaltigkeit‘, ‚Kreislaufwirtschaft‘ und ‚Ressourcenmanagement‘ für die Gesellschaft immer relevanter und sind daher auch im Wohnbau unumgänglich geworden. In den letzten Jahren boomte der Wohnbau in Österreich wie nie zuvor. Welche Rolle diverse Wohnbauförderungen dabei spielen und wie sich diese im Laufe der Zeit entwickelt haben, soll im Zuge der Abhandlung dargestellt werden. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, den aktuellen klassischen Wohnbau hinsichtlich seiner Nachhaltigkeit zu betrachten. Dabei werden die ihm zu Grunde liegenden Bauweisen und Systeme sowie die zum Einsatz kommenden Materialien erläutert bzw. analysiert. Die erworbenen Erkenntnisse sollen als Anregung und zur Sensibilisierung des Themas ‚optimiertes Baustoffmanagement‘ dienen. In Anbetracht der immer geringer zur Verfügbarkeit stehenden natürlichen Ressourcen und der konträr dazu steigenden Nachfrage aufgrund der rasch wachsenden Bevölkerungsdichte, muss die Gesellschaft einen aktiven Beitrag zur Sicherung einer sauberen Umwelt bzw. Zukunft für kommende Generationen leisten. Die Baubranche sollte hierbei mit gutem Beispiel vorangehen und vermehrt auf eine Kreislaufwirtschaft setzen. Der beste Baustoff ist jener, der nicht produziert werden muss. Die grundlegenden Aspekte der Kreislaufwirtschaft sowie die aktive Vermeidung von Abfällen und die aktuellen Ziele der österreichischen Bundesregierung werden im Zuge der einführenden Kapitel näher erläutert. Neubauprojekte von Einfamilien- oder Mehrfamilienhäusern (EFH/MFH) haben Mindeststandards hinsichtlich ihres Brandschutzes, Schallschutzes, Wärmeschutzes, sowie bestimmte Nachhaltigkeitskriterien zu erfüllen. Die dafür grundlegenden Richtlinien werden im Umfang der wissenschaftlichen Ausarbeitung zusammengefasst. Mit Werkzeugen wie Wohnbauförderungssystemen hat die Politik die Möglichkeit, direkten Einfluss auf die Schaffung und die Erhaltung von Wohnräumen zu nehmen. Die Förderungssysteme sollten daher einen aktiven Beitrag zum Klimaschutz leisten und einen Anreiz für den Ausbau von ökologischen Baualternativen schaffen. Inwieweit diese in aktuellen Förderungsmodellen festgehalten sind und welches Verbesserungspotenzial sich in Aussicht auf die Zukunft ergibt, wird im abschließenden Teil der Ausarbeitung behandelt. In view of the ever-increasing climate changes and the problems associated with them, topics such as sustainability, the circular economy and resource management are becoming increasingly relevant for our society. The construction industry is currently considered one of the biggest climate sinners and therefore has considerable catching up to do from an ecological point of view. In recent years, residential construction in Austria has boomed as never before. The roles played by various housing subsidies and how these have developed over time are presented in this thesis. The aim of this work is to consider the sustainability of the current classic residential buildings. The underlying construction methods, systems and materials used are explained and analyzed. The knowledge gained provides recommendations and serves to raise awareness of the topic of optimized management of building materials. In view of the increasingly scarce natural resources and the rapidly increasing population density, everyone must make an active contribution to ensuring a clean environment for future generations. The construction industry should set a good example and increasingly participate in a circular economy. The best building material is one that does not have to be produced! The basic aspects of the circular economy, the active avoidance of waste and the current goals of our federal government are explained in detail in the introductory chapters. New construction projects of single-family or multi-family houses must meet at least the standards for fire protection, soundproofing and insulation as well as certain sustainability criteria. This thesis summarizes the basic guidelines. With tools such as housing subsidy systems, political policy can directly influence the creation and maintenance of housing. The subsidy systems should therefore actively contribute to climate protection and create an incentive for the expansion of ecological building alternatives. The extent to which this is anchored in current funding models and the potential for improvement that may arise in the future are dealt with in the concluding part of the thesis. U radu je prikazan glavni projekt stambeno-poslovne zgrade u ulici Put Brodarice u Splitu. Građevina je izvedena u armiranom betonu monolitnom izvedbom s armirano-betonskim temeljima, zidovima, stupovima i gredama te armirano-betonskim pločama kao međukatnim konstrukcijama. Projekt sadrži: tehnički opis konstrukcije, proračun nosivih konstrukcijskih elemenata te karakteristične građevinske nacrte., Main design of the business and residental building in Put Brodarice street in Split is presented in this work. The building is made of reinforced concrete in solid construction with reinforced concrete foundations, walls, columns and beams and reinforced concrete plates as floor slabs. The project contains: technical description of the construction, calculation of load-bearing structural elements and characteristic building blueprints.

Die Nachfrage nach Wohnraum in deutschen Ballungsgebieten ist ungebrochen hoch und kann nicht gedeckt werden. Die im Geschosswohnungsbau dominierende Massivbauweise weist wie die gesamte Baubranche eine geringe Arbeitsproduktivität auf. Die industrielle Vorfertigung im Geschosswohnungsbau stellt eine Möglichkeit dar, die Produktivität im Bauwesen zu verbessern und somit der hohen Nachfrage im Wohnungsbau nachzukommen. Im Jahr 2018 wurden in Deutschland nur 2,2 % der fertiggestellten Wohngebäude in Massivbauweise industriell vorgefertigt. Auch im Jahr 2019 war kein Anstieg zu verzeichnen. Die bestehende Literatur diskutiert allgemeine Hindernisse der industriellen Vorfertigung, hauptsächlich des Holzbaus, stellt Anforderungen an den modernen Wohnungsbau und schlägt neue Technologien für das Bauwesen vor. Sie berücksichtigt jedoch nicht die Spezifika der industriellen Vorfertigung im Kontext des Geschosswohnungsbaus in Massivbauweise. Außerdem fehlen konkrete, praktisch anwendbare und von Fachexpert*innen bewertete Umsetzungsvorschläge, um die Massivbauweise in industrieller Vorfertigung zu etablieren. Ziel dieser Forschungsarbeit ist es, geeignete Maßnahmen festzulegen, um die industrielle Vorfertigung im deutschen Markt zu etablieren und als gleichberechtigte Alternative zum konventionellen Bauen darzustellen. Hierzu nutzt die Arbeit eine gemischt denklogisch-deduktive und empirisch-induktive Methode. Basierend auf einer Literaturrecherche und 12 Expert*inneninterviews präsentiert diese Arbeit 16 Maßnahmen zur Etablierung der industriellen Vorfertigung in Deutschland. Im Anschluss bewerten 61 bzw. 30 Fachexpert*innen in zwei Delphi-Befragungsrunden diese Maßnahmen nach Wirksamkeit und Umsetzbarkeit und beurteilen welche Voraussetzungen ggf. noch notwendig sind.Im Zuge der gesamten Datenerhebung wird deutlich, dass eine Vielzahl von Hindernissen der industriellen Vorfertigung entgegenstehen. Diese Hindernisse stammen im Wesentlichen aus den Bereichen der rechtlichen Normen, der Vergaberegelung der VOB, der Schnittstellen zwischen Planung und Produktion, des fehlenden Wissens über die industrielle Vorfertigung und dem soziokulturellen Kontext. Für eine Vielzahl dieser Hindernisse identifiziert und bewertet diese Arbeit konkrete Vorschläge zur Auflösung. Hierfür bietet wird ein Stufenplan als Lösungsansatz angeboten, der sowohl effizienzsteigernde und disruptive Komponenten beinhaltet als auch soziokulturelle Aspekte wie eine Offenheit für Veränderung, die Bereitschaft Vorurteile zu hinterfragen und einen engen Wissensaustausch aller Verantwortlichen des Bauwesens. Ergänzend zeigt die Arbeit Detailausprägungen eines möglichen künftigen Systems industrieller Vorfertigung auf, weist auf relevante Themenfelder entlang des Lebenszyklus eines Bauprojekts hin und beleuchtet Einflüsse sowie Konsequenzen übergreifender Thesen.Diese Forschungsarbeit richtet sich als anwendungswissenschaftliche Studie an alle Baubeteiligten und Forschenden. Verantwortliche Entscheidungsträger*innen können die vorgeschlagenen und bewerteten Maßnahmen in der Praxis anwenden und spezifisch anpassen, um die industrielle Vorfertigung im deutschen Geschosswohnungsbau zu etablieren., The demand for housing in German metropolitan areas remains high and cannot be met by the current supply. Like the entire construction industry, the prevalent solid construction method in multi-story residential construction has low labor productivity. Industrial prefabrication in multi-story residential construction represents an opportunity to improve productivity and thus address the high demand in residential construction. In 2018, only 2.2% of completed solid residential buildings in Germany were industrially prefabricated. There was no increase in 2019 either. Existing literature discusses general obstacles to industrial prefabrication, mainly within timber construction, sets requirements for modern residential construction, and recommends emerging construction technologies. However, the literature does not consider the specifics of industrial prefabrication in the context of multi-story solid residential construction. Further, to establish industrial prefabrication in solid construction, there is a lack of specific recommendations and its evaluation by experts.This doctoral thesis aims to identify suitable measures for establishing industrial prefabrication in the German market and presenting it as an equal alternative to conventional construction. Given this aim, the thesis uses a mixed method consisting of a logical-deductive and empirical-inductive approach. Based on a literature review and 12 expert interviews, this thesis presents 16 measures for establishing industrial prefabrication in Germany. Subsequently, 61 respectively 30 experts evaluate these measures regarding effectiveness and feasibility in two rounds of a Delphi survey. Further, they suggest preconditions for each measure.During data collection, it became clear that several obstacles prevent the adoption of industrial prefabrication. These obstacles pertain to legal standards, the VOB regulations, the interface between planning and production, the lack of knowledge about industrial prefabrication, and the socio-cultural context. For most of these obstacles, this thesis identifies and evaluates specific recommendations for dissolving these obstacles. To this end, this thesis offers a step-by-step solution plan, which includes efficiency-increasing and disruptive components, as well as socio-cultural aspects such as an openness to change, the willingness to question prejudices, and knowledge exchange between stakeholders of the construction industry. Further, the thesis proposes detailed characteristics of a possible future industrial prefabrication system, points out relevant topics along the life cycle of a construction project, and highlights influencing factors and consequences of overarching theses.As an applied scientific study, this doctoral thesis addresses both researchers and practitioners of the construction industry. Responsible decision-makers can apply and adapt the proposed and evaluated measures in practice in order to establish industrial prefabrication in German multi-story residential construction.

Darstellung und Beurteilung der Nachhaltigkeit im Zusammenhang mit der Recyclingverordnung am Beispiel eines mehrgeschoßigen Holzbaus. Kritische Analyse des mehrgeschoßigen Holzbaus im Zusammenhang mit der Baustoffrecyclingverordnung. Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Nachhaltigkeit im Bezug auf das Recyclingverhalten eines mehrgeschoßigen Holzbaus, wobei als Fallbeispiel das HoHo (=Holzhochhaus) in Wien gewählt wurde, welches zu den größten Holzhochhäusern der Welt zählt. Analysiert werden dabei alle Schichten der ausgewählten Bauteile (Außenwand, Innenwand, Decke) anhand der Recycling- und Baustoffverordnung (RBV), welche 2016 in Kraft trat, sowie anhand der ÖNORM B 3151, Rückbau von Bauwerken als Standardabbruchmethode, welche im Anhang der Recycling- und Baustoffverordnung beigelegt ist. Die Analyse wird dabei zunächst auf einen Quadratmeter je Bauteil bezogen und wird danach für das Gesamtgebäude durchgeführt. Das Ergebnis der Analyse stellt dar, wie viel Prozent pro Bauteil recycelt werden können bzw. wie viel Prozent pro Bauteil deponiert oder thermisch entsorgt werden müssen. Nach Auseinandersetzung mit der Recycling- und Baustoffverordnung wird schnell bewusst, dass sich diese hauptsächlich mit mineralischen und bituminösen Baustoffen beschäftigt und der Holzbau dabei nahezu völlig vernachlässigt wird. Bei Eingabe des Begriffs „Holz“ in der Suchfunktion der RBV werden lediglich 5 Treffer erzielt (exklusive ÖNORMEN). Die Analyse ergab, dass bezogen auf das Gesamtgebäude, 23% der Aufbauten recycelt werden können und 77% der Aufbauten deponiert bzw. thermisch entsorgt werden müssen. Diese Arbeit kam daher zu dem Ergebnis, dass ein Gebäude in Holzbauweise immer einen geringeren Recyclinganteil als ein Gebäude aus Beton haben wird, wenn das Recyclingverhalten anhand der RBV analysiert wird. Diese Feststellung wird begründet durch den Schwerpunkt auf mineralische und bituminöse Baustoffe, sowie durch das Vernachlässigen des Holzbaus in der RBV. Durch eine Überarbeitung der Recycling- und Baustoffverordnung, unter Einbeziehung des Holzbaus, inklusive Holzprodukte und Holzwerkstoffe, würde sich möglicherweise das Recyclingverhalten laut RBV von Holzbauten wesentlich steigern. Presentation and evaluation of sustainability in connection with the recycling order of a multi-story timber construction. Critical analysis of a multi-story timber construction in connection with the recycling order. This thesis deals with sustainability in relation to the recycling behavior of a multi-story timber construction. The HoHo (= wooden high-rise) in Vienna, which is one of the largest wooden high-rise buildings in the world, was chosen as a case study. All layers of the selected building components (exterior wall, interior wall, ceiling) are analysed on the basis of the Recycling and Building Materials Ordinance (RBV), which came into force in 2016, as well as on the basis of ÖNORM B 3151, Demolition of Buildings as a Standard Demolition Method, which is attached to the Recycling and Building Materials Ordinance. The analysis is initially based on one square meter per component and is then carried out for the entire building. The result of the analysis shows how many percent per component can be recycled or how many percent per component have to be deposited or disposed of thermally. After dealing with the Recycling and Building Materials Ordinance, it quickly becomes clear that it deals mainly with mineral and bituminous building materials and that timber construction is almost completely neglected. When entering the term "wood" in the search function of the RBV, only 5 hits are obtained (excluding ÖNORMEN). The analysis showed that in relation to the entire building, 23% of the superstructures can be recycled and 77% of the superstructures must be disposed of in landfills or thermally. This work therefore came to the conclusion that a building in timber construction will always have a lower recycling content than a building made of concrete if the recycling behavior is analysed on the basis of the RBV. This finding is justified by the focus on mineral and bituminous building materials and the neglect of timber construction in the RBV. A revision of the Recycling and Construction Materials Ordinance, including timber construction, timber products and derived timber products, would possibly significantly increase the recycling behavior of timber constructions according to the RBV.

Данная работа проделана с целью запроектировать монолитное перекрытие с армированием предварительно напряженной арматурой на примере научно-исследовательского института с увеличенным пролетом до 14 м. Задачи, которые решались в ходе исследования: 1. разработать проектную документацию на строительство научно-исследовательского института в соответствии с заданием на проектирование и Постановлением Правительства РФ от 16.02.2008 №87 «О составе разделов проектной документации и требований к их содержанию»; 2. изменить конструктивную схему здания, увеличить пролет между колоннами на последнем этаже, убрав промежуточную колонну; обозначить свойства и область применения канатного армирования; 3. оценить несущую способность перекрытия и напряженно-деформированное состояние при увеличении пролета; 4. определить преимущества и недостатки применение преднапряженных конструкций с канатным армированием. Технология канатного армирования с преднапряжением предлагается для решения проблемы увеличения пролета в высотных зданиях на примере спроектированного научно-исследовательского института. Проводится анализ особенностей проектирования конструкций с канатами в качестве арматуры и дальнейший расчет преднапряженного перекрытия по нормативным документов с моделированием в ПО SCAD. В результате данной работы спроектировано монолитное железобетонное перекрытие толщиной 200 мм, армированное преднапряженной канатной арматурой, уширение плиты в зоне расположения канатов составило 400 мм. Сечения и выбор армирования обеспечивают прочность и целостность конструкции. Применения данной технологии в высотном строительстве при пролетах до 14 м является эффективной., This work was done in order to design a monolithic floor with prestressed reinforcement using the example of a research Institute with span increased up to 14 m. Tasks that were solved in the course of the study: 1. to develop a project documentation for the construction of a research Institute in accordance with the design assignment and the RF Government Resolution N 87 of February 16, 2008 On the structure of sections of design documentation and requirements to their contents; 2. to change the structural scheme of the building, to increase the span between the columns on the top floor, removing the intermediate column; to indicate the properties and scope of rope reinforcement; 3. to evaluate the load-bearing capacity of the overlap and the stress-strain state as the span increases; 4. determine the advantages and disadvantages prestressed structures with rope reinforcement. The technology of rope reinforcement with prestressing is proposed to solve the problem of increasing the span in high-rise buildings on the example of a designed research Institute. The analysis of design features of structures with ropes as reinforcement and further calculation of prestressed overlap according to normative documents with modeling in SCAD SOFTWARE is carried out. Result of this project is a design of reinforced concrete slab 200 mm thick, widening of plate reinforced with pre-stressed rope reinforcement is 400 mm thick. Cross sections and the choice of reinforcement ensure the strength and integrity of the structure. The use of this technology in high-rise buildings with spans up to 14 m is effective.

Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit den wesentlichen Einflussfaktoren der Bedarfsplanung, welche bei der Wohnraumsuche und der Errichtung von Einfamilienhäusern eine Rolle spielen. Es wurde ein auf der DIN 18205 „Bedarfsplanung im Bauwesen“ basierender Kriterienkatalog entwickelt, welcher dem potentiellen Bauherrn zunächst bei der Entscheidung hilft, ob das Wohnen im Einfamilienhaus überhaupt den individuellen Anforderungen und Wünschen entspricht, oder ob durch ein Mietverhältnis die persönlichen Ansprüche besser bedient werden. Hierzu werden die Hardfacts aus der Bedarfsanalyse mit einer exemplarischen Darstellung von entscheidungsbeeinflussenden Softfacts kombiniert. Fällt nach der Beantwortung dieser grundlegenden Fragen die Tendenz bezüglich der passenden Wohnform auf die Planung eines Einfamilienhauses, so stellen sich in Folge für die zukünftigen Bauherren eine ganze Reihe neuer Fragen und Entscheidungen, welche innerhalb einer Prozessentwicklung miteinander verknüpft und voneinander abhängig sind. Es soll eine übersichtliche und praktische Kombination aus einer Bedarfsanalyse und einem Entwicklungssystem erarbeitet werden, welche schrittweise die Wohnform des Einfamilienhauses an den Bedarf der Bauherren anpasst. Dieses Modell umfasst Optionen zur Anpassung der Gebäudeform, Ausbaustufe, Bau- und Konstruktionsweise, sowie die Wahl des gewünschten Planungs- und Baupartners, und die Festlegung des Gebäudestandards. Die Optimierungsmöglichkeiten leiten sich jeweils von mehreren Faktoren wie den persönlichen Fähigkeiten und Präferenzen des Bauherrn, dem zur Verfügung gestellten Kosten- und Terminrahmen, dem Aspekt der Nachhaltigkeit und Ökologie, sowie vom Grundstück ab. Da selbst unter Beachtung aller im Entscheidungssystem enthaltenen Einflüsse auf die Errichtung eines Ein- oder Mehrfamilienhauses noch weitere im Vorfeld unbestimmbare Szenarien eintreten können, wird im Kapitel 6 auf die Analyse und Abschätzung dieser Risiken eingegangen. Durch die Ermittlung möglicher Risiken kann im Voraus die richtige Handlungsweise festgelegt werden, um im Eintrittsfall entsprechend zielgerichtet, effektiv und wirtschaftlich reagieren zu können. This thesis deals with a variety of factors leading to the right choice to search for the appropriate type of housing or build a home of one’s own. Based on the DIN 18205 “Planning on demand in the building industry”, an evaluation questionnaire will be developed. This will help the future constructor to determine whether or not living in a home of his own will meet his individual needs or if renting would be the better choice. If, after carefully reviewing these essential questions one is leaning toward building a house of their own, a number of further questions arise. These will be tied to one another within the process development. Only if all of the essential influence factors are being considered can the planning of a home of your own be implemented in a target oriented, effective and sustainable way. The status analysis, as well as a prognosis for the future, both form important factors in the process of making a decision which will fulfill the individual’s needs in the long run. The subordinate aim is to work out a well-arranged and practical combination between analysis of needs and a step by step development system which satisfies the style of living best suited to the home owner. This model includes decisions and processes regarding the best possible type of building, building phase, type of construction, as well as the choice of the planner and builder. Resumen: Este proyecto busca darle importancia a una sección de las matemáticas que tiene que ver con el pensamiento geométrico, que es uno de los cinco pensamientos que el MEN propone en los lineamientos curriculares. La geometría es una de las ramas de las matemáticas que potencia el pensamiento espacial y el razonamiento, permitiendo manipular representaciones mentales de los objetos, las relaciones entre ellos y representaciones materiales, lo que requiere del estudio de conceptos y propiedades del espacio físico y geométrico. Es así que se le debe dar importancia a la geometría, porque permite relaciones con el arte, la decoración, el diseño de figuras y con otras formas de comprensión del espacio como mapas y dibujos; es necesario establecer relaciones espaciales de los cuerpos sólidos, con sus formas, caras, bordes, vértices; o de las superficies, regiones y figuras planas. Además del trabajo con objetos bidimensionales y tridimensionales para comprender claramente los conceptos de perímetro, área y volumen.
