Social networks play an important role in the modern management of socio-cultural activities. Due to the widespread use of the Internet and the growing popularity of social media, these platforms have become an important tool for communication, information sharing, promotion of cultural events, and public engagement in cultural and socio-cultural initiatives. Social media provides an opportunity for organizations and cultural institutions to engage audiences through advertising campaigns, content marketing, viral marketing, and other methods. This allows you to draw attention to cultural events, exhibitions, performances, concerts and attract more spectators and participants. The aim of the article is to study the theoretical aspects of the use of social networks in the management of socio-cultural activities, as well as to analyze the practical experience of using social networks in the socio-cultural sphere and to develop recommendations for the optimal use of social media in the management of socio-cultural activities. The methods: analysis of literary sources, synthesis, system analysis, generalization, analysis of social network data, content analysis. It is found that social networks make it possible to preserve, popularize and talk eloquently about cultural heritage. Cultural organisations can share stories, photographs, videos and other materials that reveal national and cultural identity. It is researched that social networks facilitate interaction between cultural organizations, creators, and audiences. They create a fertile ground for cooperation and partnership, allowing organizations to co-host cultural events and engage the target audience. It is determined that social networks provide tools for tracking the efficiency of cultural events and analyzing audience data. It helps cultural organizations customize their programs and events to suit the interests and needs of their audiences. Social media has been found to allow for the creation of communities and forums where people can discuss topics related to culture, art, traditions, and more. This helps to keep the community active and share ideas. It is noted that the use of social networks by the management of socio-cultural activities also has its own challenges and risks. For example, the possibility of disseminating inaccurate information or negative reviews can negatively affect the reputation of cultural organizations. Therefore, it is important to be attentive and skillful in the management of social networks in order to achieve a positive impact on socio-cultural activities. Nowadays, social networks serve as a virtual social space for the interaction of individuals, resulting in the formation of a complex multi-level network of civic ties. Internet technologies form a new sphere of information interaction, which leads to the emergence of new types of social relations that unfold the social potential of citizens. Social networks become a favorable environment for civic activity, being a platform for communication between individuals and groups in the political, cultural, and social spheres.

Social, economic, political, digital transformations in society lead to changes in Russian social and cultural space. Leisure becomes a significant part of the modern cultural process. The problem of the study of cultural and leisure activities (CLA) remains open. Leisure activities are undergoing changes. The article provides an empirical analysis of cultural and leisure activities to comprehend the current stage of the cultural development process in Russia. The authors give the examples of the dependence of the forms of library practice on changing reader needs in a historical retrospective. It is noted that various forms of CLA are commonly implemented into the work of cultural institutions. Intellectual and leisure activities becomes a significant part of CLA. It is necessary for the inclusion of an individual into modern educational, professional, cultural spaces. New digital combined forms of work and project activities are popular tools that increase efficiency of cultural and leisure activities of cultural institutions. The article provides examples of the active involvement of the State Universal Scientific Library of Krasnoyarsk region in the intellectual leisure industry. The authors come to the conclusion that the content and technological change of CLA as a systemic phenomenon occurs under the influence of the realities of modern life and contributes to the functions evolution in cultural institutions.

The article is devoted to consideration of the views of researchers about the role of would-bookhouse in the life of the peasants of the 1920s modern Russian historiography of the activities of huts-reading rooms receive sufficient attention, in that eventually formed a different assessment of their work. In rural areas, the modernization of peasant life and the introduction of Soviet values were associated with the activities of these institutions, so the Soviet authorities paid special attention to their development. During the study period, the reading rooms were engaged in a variety of activities, which included the issuance of books, loud reading of Newspapers and magazines, the organization of conversations and pre-treasures, the organization of various circles, participation in sowing and harvesting campaigns, political campaigns, reference work, concerts, performances and film shows, collective broadcasting, anti-religious agitation and promotion of legal knowledge. Apparently, various aspects of the activities of the libraries were caused by the fact that the Soviet government with their help sought both to build a new society in the village and to improve the socio-cultural level of rural residents. At the same time, it should be noted that their work was under-performed due to the lack of trained staff, staff turnover due to low salaries, lack of material and financial resources associated with the negative consequences of the civil war and the difficulties of the post-war recovery period. In summary, we can conclude that in contemporary Russian historiography of the activities of huts-reading rooms, despite the above shortcomings, in General, assessed positively by the authors.

Introduction. The relevance of the problem of managing the library’s socio-cultural activities is associated with information and communication changes in society, which require the library practices formation, non-standard solutions development, the emergence of new ideas for library activities. Purpose and methods. The purpose of the article is to develop scientific provisions and practical recommendations for managing socio-cultural activities of the library in terms of information and communication changes. These changes will provide new opportunities for high-quality cross-border information interaction of library with users, simplify access to library resources and services simplify access to library resources and services and, as a result, promotes a positive image, improve the libraries’ quality and efficiency. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical principle of cognition, systemic, historical, terminological, cognitive, cultural approaches to the study of management processes of socio-cultural activities of the library during the period of information and communication changes in society. Results. The existing approaches to the terminology field of library science in different historical periods are systematized. The libraries’ role and functions in the socio-cultural development of the individual are studied. Traditional and innovative types of activity in the central library system “Svichado” are determined, their efficiency is investigated. The sociological study results show that for effective library operation in the information and communication space, it is necessary to improve the skills of librarians and establish time norms that would regulate the activities of social networks. Conclusions. Management of libraries’ socio-cultural activities, in the conditions of information and communication, changes will allow reaching a new, high-quality level, and promotes the library development under the modern society requirements.

Open spaces are an important feature of any neighborhood since they serve as a hub for the community's socio-cultural activities. According to the National Population Commission, 64% of the population in northern Nigeria lives in rural areas and utilizes outdoor spaces for their socio-cultural lives. The typology and ownership of rural open spaces in north-western Nigeria have become major concerns for their impact on its management. This research explores the typology and ownership of open space in rural areas within north-western Nigeria to adduce the challenges facing its role in sustaining the communities' cultural values. Observation from five communities in the Batagarawa local government. The study discovered a subconscious classification of rural open spaces into the community and private open spaces, each with defined boundaries, and the study also identified relevant stakeholders. As a result, the study suggests that the government play a coordinating role in resolving any disagreements among stakeholders so that open spaces can be better identified and the cultural values of these open spaces can be preserved, and thus concludes that open space typology and ownership have become a critical concern in sustaining the roles of open spaces in northern Nigeria's semi-arid region. New spiritual values require new organizational and pedagogical technologies of sociocultural activities. It is urgent to form the axiological basis for everyday life and activities of the person, where socio-cultural activities play one of the most important roles. The first step towards the solution of this task should be studying Russian people's traditional spiritual values, which form Russian mentality and cultural self-consciousness. It is obvious that in this case, the most important task of the social policy is to engage the isolated people in active and creative social life. The role of the organized socio-cultural activities is extremely important for socially deprived group. It is relevant to create various self-organizing young people's teams, where the organizational technologies, which have not used in socio-cultural activities play a special role. These technologies include the technologies of social amateur activities, the club form of self-organization, the creation of innovative sites for implementation of the modern forms of leisure activities. The main directions of socio-cultural activities include the organization of psychological assistance to the family in solving family problems, as well as the therapeutic programs with the use of achievements of artistic and game culture: art therapy, bibliotherapy, music therapy, drama therapy, etc., which can have a special role in it. It can be a promising idea to establish a creative alliance of psychologists and organizers of sociocultural activities for the development of general psychotherapeutic and psychocorrective programs. We investigate options of solving the problem of overcoming the conservative aspect of the museum phenomenon through the development of a website as an integrative socio-cultural phenomenon, which allows improving the technologies for involving representatives of various strata of the population in the creative environment of the museum by means of a webpage as an interactive playing and information space.

The results of the analysis of functions of social and cultural activities of culture institutions as social centers are presented. The following functions are distinguished: communicative, cultural-educational, creative, recreational-health, financial-economic, legal security and protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of the individual, etc. Special attention is paid to the conditions of realization of pedagogical potential of culture institutes. It is proved that socio-cultural functions of culture institutions as social centres complement each other and form the socio-cultural activities. The classification of the functions of social and cultural activities is also proposed. The research urgency is caused by modern social development strategy, which involves the organization of uniting the efforts of various public institutions aimed at improving the socio-educational practices. The novelty of this study is seen in the fact that the functions of social and cultural activities of culture institutions as social centers are identified and analyzed subject to the conditions of the realization of their pedagogical potential. The author dwells on the fact that the functions of social and cultural activities determine the content of training of organizers and experts of this activity and their special competence. It is shown that professionals should learn to be sociable, ready to empathize with other people. The question is raised that they must have the ability to predict, to develop rapidly constructive solutions, to have managerial skills in small groups, etc.

Broadcasting and dissemination of culture in the society is the main function of each institution of education and, first of all, the university. For many centuries of existence the university has changed its character, content, forms and methods of educational activities: from the repeater of knowledge accumulated in the past, in the Middle Ages – to the center of national culture and the center of Enlightenment through the media and provision of various services at the present stage. All this time the library was and remains the most important structural subdivision of the university. In recent years, the spiritual culture, preservation of national memory and education are important aspects of the activity of each library, in particular, the libraries of a higher educational institution. The prospects for development of the library are based on combination of traditional forms of work and widespread introduction of the modern computer and telecommunication technologies, informatization of library processes, provision of scientific and methodological support for various activities of the university. The modern mission of the university library is to promote harmonious development of a harmonious individual, to ensure his/her educational, scientific and cultural needs through creation of a modern library and information educational environment. Today one of the priorities of the university library is to develop electronic resources, namely an e-library based on its own resources with access to high-quality world scientific information (distant resources). The library is sticking insistently at this task, trying to provide the scholars and students with an opportunity to become acquainted with world digital content. It is examined the general issues of development of the university libraries as cultural centers. It is analyzed a socio-cultural component of the library of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University; it is noted its positive socio-cultural dynamics.

Introduction: this paper discusses the specifics of socio-cultural activities with people of the third age to overcome the social exclusion, identifies reasons for the decline of alienation level in this category of citizens in conditions of activity of cultural institutions. Materials and Methods: the authors’ findings are based on the philosophical, sociological, cultural, psychological and pedagogical literature and research methodology: observation, survey and content analysis. Results: the most effective methods of social and cultural activities in terms of overcoming the social exclusion of people of the third age were developed and experimentally tested. The main objective of the research was to examine the problems of exclusion among persons of the third age, as well as the possibilities of using social and cultural activities to overcome the social exclusion. In the paper the authors analyse the regional approach to the organisation of social and cultural activities of the elderly in institutions of social and cultural sphere. On the basis of the study the authors propose to extend and modify the variety of forms of leisure and intensify their use in working with people of the third age to overcome the social exclusion of an individual. All work on social and cultural activities with the elderly should be aimed primarily at optimising the social inclusion of elderly in society. Discussion and Conclusions: organisation of social and cultural activities for the elderly is a host of opportunities for the realisation of creative ideas. It is these new approaches to the activities of cultural institution’s collective that help to enhance the interaction between cultural institutions employees and retirees. This study is not exhaustive and does not finalise the research into the role of social and cultural activities as a condition for overcoming the social exclusion of people of the third age. This topic needs further exploration.

Scientific novelty. A logical sequence of steps for pairing the documentary protection of organization of the content in higher education, considering the advanced training strategy is proposed. Practical significance. This research work investigated the interfaith harmony and social cohesion between two different religious followers of Hinduism and Islam in District Swat of Pakistan. The current world is facing various kinds of issues and challenges regarding interfaith harmony, peace and social cohesion. This is need of the time to establish a peaceful and harmonised day to day life standard for all the segments of society. This research was an effort to analyse the willingness among the Hindus and Muslims for enhancing their tolerance towards each other’s social and cultural activities. It also aimed to highlight the positive approach of the respondents towards the participation in the socio-cultural activities of each other. The results of association of social cohesion showed nonsignificant relationship with an opinion that Hindu and Muslim communities should take part in socio-cultural activities particularly the sports. Similarly, non-significant relationship was found based respondents’ data with an opinion that relations between Hindus and Muslims shall enhanced through participation in cultural and religious ceremonies. The result further concluded that there was peaceful and harmonised environment between Hindus and Muslims being living in the target area. The minorities were fully enjoying freedom and equality in District Swat. Based on the findings of the study, positive social interaction, mutual respect, positivity in thinking and positive role of local media have been recommended as policy guidelines for promoting inter-faith harmony. The present study is based on a devoted sacred site of Gangolihat, Pithoragarh which is located in Futsil village and is dominated by Quercus leucotrichophora trees. Since sacred sites play an important role in biodiversity conservation through socio-cultural practices and taboos, the present site was extensively surveyed for macrolichen diversity because this grove which was earlier destroyed by villagers and is now under the phase of regeneration has no data about lichens which are pioneer colonizers and best bioindicators of a given forest. A total of 38 macrolichen species belonging to16 genera and 5 families were reported from the study area. Family Parmeliaceae was the dominating family with 18 species, followed by Physciaceae (11), Collemataceae (6), Ramalinaceae (2) and Cladoniaceae (1). The baseline data generated during the present study is likely to contribute the future climate change studies by comparing the present data sets viz. diversity of lichens and other climatic parameters such as temperature and moisture with that of the sacred sites when it will reach its climax condition in future. 25. Pastoralists' knowledge and practices towards clinical bovine dermatophilosis in cattle herds of North-Central Nigeria: the associated factors, burden and economic impact.

- Abstract
Dermatophilosis is a contagious disease of high economic importance. The study assessed knowledge/awareness and clinical burden of and mitigation measures practised against clinical bovine dermatophilosis in pastoral herds of North-Central Nigeria and associated socio-cultural factors that predisposed to its occurrence in herds. A cross-sectional survey was conducted between October 2015 and September 2016. Questionnaires were administered on pastoralists and clinical assessment of cattle with gross pathological lesions indicative of dermatophilosis conducted. Associated economic impact was estimated. All 384 selected pastoralists participated in the survey. The majorities of nomadic (97.4%) and sedentary (68.2%) pastoralists significantly ( p < 0.05) reported to have heard about dermatophilosis. Majorities of the sedentary (91.7%) and nomadic (97.4%) pastoralists mentioned the use antibiotics to manage the disease. Pastoralists in age group 70-79 years were more likely (OR 15.22; 95% CI 4.69, 49.34) to possess satisfactory knowledge about the disease. Culture of giving out cattle as gift or payment for dowry was more likely (OR 28.56; 95% CI 15.64, 52.12) to influence dermatophilosis occurrence in herds. Overall clinical dermatophilosis burden was 3.6% (95% CI 3.46, 3.80) and the annual economic impact was estimated at 908,463.9 USD. This study has given an idea to the status of pastoralists' levels of awareness about dermatophilosis in Nigeria, which can be harnessed by policy makers to develop its mitigation measures. Significant influence of pastoralists' socio-cultural activities on dermatophilosis occurrence in herds was identified. The article proposes criteria for the involvement of adolescents in socio-cultural activity and presents the results of a study of aggressive reactions of adolescents depending on the degree of their involvement in this activity. It is considered that the obtained results can serve as a basis for the development and implementation of a program aimed at psychological prevention of aggressive behavior of adolescents with the help of socio-cultural activities. Рассматривается вопрос различий в проявлениях агрессивных реакций у подростков с разной степенью вовлеченности в социально-культурную деятельность. Представлена попытка выявления особенностей агрессивных реакций у подростков с разной степенью вовлеченности в социально-культурную деятельность. Предложены критерии определения вовлеченности подростков в социально-культурную деятельность, а также представлены результаты исследования агрессивных реакций подростков в зависимости от степени их вовлеченности в эту деятельность. Сделан вывод о том, что полученные результаты могут служить основой для разработки и внедрения программы психологической профилактики агрессивного поведения подростков средствами социально-культурной деятельности.

Цель работы заключается в выявлении читательских интересов молодежи, определении жанровых предпочтений. Читательское поведение на рубеже XX—XXI вв. конструируется в эпоху доминирования экранной культуры и насаждения клипового мышления. Актуальность исследования проблем чтения молодежи связана с остросоциальной значимостью снижения интереса к книгам, осознанием деструктивности процесса передачи знания между поколениями, в котором не используется литературный источник. Российские и зарубежные ученые, признавая важность чтения для развития личности человека, отмечают снижение интереса к нему. Культурный спад расценивается ЮНЕСКО в качестве общемировой проблемы. The purpose of the work is to identify the reader’s interests of young people, to determine genre preferences. Reader’s behavior at the turn of the XX—XXI centuries is constructed in the era of the dominance of screen culture and clip thinking. The relevance of the study of problems of reading among young people is associated with the acute social significance of the declining interest in books, the awareness of the flawed process of knowledge transfer between generations, which does not use a literary source. Russian and foreign scientists, recognizing the importance of reading for the development of a person’s personality, note a decrease in interest in it. Cultural decline is regarded by UNESCO as a worldwide problem. In modern Russia, there is a systemic crisis of reading culture, so it is important to search for possible means of attracting the younger generation to classical communicative resources. At the same time, attention should be paid to the potential of libraries as cultural centers of education, the role of literature teachers as guides to the world of literature, pedagogical, social and psychological research to identify changes in the reading taste and related life and personal attitudes of young people whose identity has traditionally been formed through reference to a variety of sources of information. The author defines possibilities of the educational program of the university to form general cultural, general professional and professional competencies of graduates; identifies modern requirements for the level of training using a survey that was conducted among potential employers – leading specialists in the socio-cultural sphere. Analysis of the survey results showed that along with the traditional requirements for the theoretical, practical and personal readiness of students for future professional activity, new ones are emerging due to digitalization, modernization of the industry and changes in the needs and interests of target audiences.

The study investigated socio-cultural characteristics of pastoralists that influenced on the tsetse-trypanosome-cattle reservoir interface thereby predisposing them to HAT in Niger State, North-central Nigeria. It was a cross-sectional survey of adult pastoral herders, aged 30 years and above, and conducted between October 2012 and February 2013. A face-to-face structured questionnaire was administered on the pastoralists nested in 96 cattle herds with questions focused on pastoralists' socio-cultural activities and behavioral practices related to HAT risk. Descriptive and analytic statistics were used to describe the obtained data. A total of 384 pastoralists participated, with mean age of 49.6 Â ± 10.76 SD years. Male respondents constituted 86.7% of gender, while pastoralists of age group 40-49 years constituted 35.4% of respondents. About 59.4% of the pastoralists had knowledge about HAT and its symptoms and only 33.9% of them believed that cattle served as reservoir of HAT trypanosome. Knowledge/belief levels of the pastoralists about African trypanosomiasis occurrence in humans and animals were statistically significant. Males were four times more likely to be exposed to HAT ( OR = 3.67; 95% CI: 1.42, 9.52); age group 60-69 was also four times more likely to be exposed ( OR = 3.59; 95% CI: 1.56, 8.28); and nomadic pastoralists were two times more likely to be exposed to HAT ( OR = 2.07; 95% CI: 1.37, 3.14). All cultural practices significantly influenced exposure to HAT with extensive husbandry system three times more likely to predisposed pastoralists to HAT ( OR = 3.21; 95% CI: 1.65, 6.24). Socio-cultural characteristics of pastoralists influenced exposure to HAT risk and, therefore, there is a need to sensitize them to bring changes to their socio-cultural practices and perceptions to achieve effective and long term sustainable HAT control. Elimination strategies of parasites in animals and vectors should be considered to avoid reintroduction from animal reservoirs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The history of the Soviet Union, its socio-economic, socio-political and socio-cultural life is unique in comparison with other countries. The USSR was created on the model of social development, expressed by European and Russian Utopian socialists and was grounded in the classics of Marxism-Leninism. So, the system of government, economic conditions and cultural activities of a society built on the hegemony of the proletariat was a long-running social experiment that conditioned the life of the Soviet people and influenced other countries as well. The experiment of a country with total state property envisaged that the party leadership assumed responsibility for defining all spheres of political life - both internal and interstate relations - and inevitably formed unified programs of cultural activity and social development, managed them, and financed and tightly controlled their implementation. The Soviet people, the so-called "working masses", were forced to live and act under uniform rules. Depending on the planning of the political, economic and social life of the party leadership throughout the existence of the USSR, the country went through several stages, which differed in the directions of forming an architectural and urban planning environment that had to meet the tasks of state and ideological character. Familiarizing yourself with this unique experience and finding the reasons for its formation is important for understanding the trends of social development in the twentieth century., История Советского Союза, его социально-экономической, социально-политической и социально-культурной жизни является уникальной в сравнении с другими странами. СССР был создан по модели общественного развития, сформулированной еще европейскими и российскими социалистами-утопистами, и обоснован классиками марксизма-ленинизма. Поэтому система правления, экономические условия и культурная деятельность общества, построенного на гегемонии пролетариата, была продолжительным социальным экспериментом, который обусловил жизнедеятельность советского народа и повлиял на другие страны. Эксперимент страны с тотальной государственной собственностью предполагал, что партийная верхушка брала на себя ответственность определять все сферы политической жизни – и внутриполитической, и межгосударственные отношения – и неминуемо формировала единые программы культурной деятельности и общественного развития, руководила ими, осуществляла финансирование и жесткий контроль за их выполнением. The way the party’s taste, smell and visual components are perceived in Mexico happens through the generational transmission of each celebration. The commemoration of the Independence of Mexico has a particular mode of expression: the simulacrum, a form of theatricality that involves thousands of participants in various municipalities in the southern part of the State of Mexico, such as Coatepec Harinas, Tecomatlán, Malinalco and Tejupilco. Its roots among the communities is due to the antiquity and preservation of the phenomenon. Within this framework, this study focuses on the drills carried out on September 15 and 16 in Ixtapan de la Sal, and on September 26 and 27 in Tonatico, days in which the routine stops and gives way to a time-space conducive to play and representation as agents of community transformation and cohesion., La manera como se percibe en México el sabor, el olor y los componentes visuales de la fiesta, sucede a través de la transmisión generacional de cada celebración. La alusiva a la Independencia de México, tiene una particular modalidad de expresión a través del simulacro, una forma de teatralidad que involucra a miles de participantes en varios municipios de la zona sur del Estado de México como Coatepec Harinas, Tecomatlán, Malinalco y Tejupilco. El inminente arraigo entre las comunidades se debe a la antigüedad y preservación del fenómeno. Dentro de este marco, el estudio se concentra en los simulacros efectuados en Ixtapan de la Sal y Tonatico por sus formas de organización y tratamiento del convivo social. En la mirada de los pobladores, la celebración de la Independencia de México se concibe indefectiblemente a través del simulacro, 15 y 16 de septiembre en Ixtapan de la Sal y 26 y 27 en Tonatico, días en los que la rutina de los actos condicionados se detiene cediendo el paso a un tiempo/espacio propicio para el juego y la representación como agentes de transformación y cohesión comunitarios.

Introduction. The relevance of the problem of managing the library’s socio-cultural activities is associated with information and communication changes in society, which require the library practices formation, non-standard solutions development, the emergence of new ideas for library activities. Purpose and methods. The purpose of the article is to develop scientific provisions and practical recommendations for managing socio-cultural activities of the library in terms of information and communication changes. These changes will provide new opportunities for high-quality cross-border information interaction of library with users, simplify access to library resources and services simplify access to library resources and services and, as a result, promotes a positive image, improve the libraries’ quality and efficiency. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical principle of cognition, systemic, historical, terminological, cognitive, cultural approaches to the study of management processes of socio-cultural activities of the library during the period of information and communication changes in society. Results. The existing approaches to the terminology field of library science in different historical periods are systematized. The libraries’ role and functions in the socio-cultural development of the individual are studied. Traditional and innovative types of activity in the central library system “Svichado” are determined, their efficiency is investigated. The sociological study results show that for effective library operation in the information and communication space, it is necessary to improve the skills of librarians and establish time norms that would regulate the activities of social networks. Метою статті є розробка наукових положень і практичних рекомендацій щодо управління соціокультурною діяльністю бібліотеки в умовах інформаційно-комунікаційних змін, що дасть нові можливості для якісної трансграничної інформаційної взаємодії бібліотеки з користувачами, спростить доступ до бібліотечних ресурсів і послуг та, як наслідок, сприятиме формуванню позитивного іміджу, підвищить якість та ефективність діяльності бібліотек. Методологічною основою дослідження є діалектичний принцип пізнання, системний, історичний, термінологічний, когнітивний, культурний підходи до вивчення процесів управління соціокультурною діяльністю бібліотеки в період інформаційно-комунікаційних змін у суспільстві. Результати. Систематизовано існуючі підходи до термінологічного поля бібліотекознавства в різні історичні періоди. Досліджено роль і функції бібліотек у соціокультурному розвитку особистості. Визначено традиційні та інноваційні види діяльності в центральній бібліотечній системі «Свічадо», досліджено їх ефективність. Результати соціологічного дослідження свідчать, що для ефективної діяльності бібліотеки в інформаційно-комунікаційному просторі необхідно підвищити кваліфікацію бібліотечних фахівців та закріпити норми часу, які б регулювали діяльність у соціальних мережах. Висновки. Управління соціокультурною діяльністю бібліотек в умовах інформаційно-комунікаційних змін дозволить вийти на новий якісний рівень та сприятиме розвитку бібліотеки відповідно до вимог сучасного суспільства.

Introduction.The relevance of the problem of managing the library’s socio-cultural activities is associated with information and communication changes in society, which require the library practices formation, non-standard solutions development, the emergence of new ideas for library activities.Purpose and methods.The purpose of the article is to develop scientific provisions and practical recommendations for managing socio-cultural activities of the library in terms of information and communication changes. These changes will provide new opportunities for high-quality cross-border information interaction of library with users, simplify access to library resources and services simplify access to library resources and services and, as a result, promotes a positive image, improve the libraries’ quality and efficiency. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical principle of cognition, systemic, historical, terminological, cognitive, cultural approaches to the study of management processes of socio-cultural activities of the library during the period of information and communication changes in society.Results.The existing approaches to the terminology field of library science in different historical periods are systematized. The libraries’ role and functions in the socio-cultural development of the individual are studied. Traditional and innovative types of activity in the central library system “Svichado” are determined, their efficiency is investigated. The sociological study results show that for effective library operation in the information and communication space, it is necessary to improve the skills of librarians and establish time norms that would regulate the activities of social networks.Conclusions.Management of libraries’ socio-cultural activities, in the conditions of information and communication, changes will allow reaching a new, high-quality level, and promotes the library development under the modern society requirements.

In the master’s thesis, the relevance is gained by the fact that the elderly are identified as a social group of society, which is identified with old age and retirement age. In Lithuania, as in most countries of the world, the elderly are a rapidly growing part of the population. The share of the oldest population (80 years and older) is growing particularly fast. The share of the elderly population in Europe is projected to increase from 20% to 28% between 2000 and 2025. Taking into account the presented statistical indicators, it can be stated that in Lithuania and Ukraine the indicators of population aging are quite high. Taking into account the constantly growing indicators of population aging in Lithuania and Ukraine, social services and socio-cultural activities, which are identified as one of the most important directions of social policy and become important factors for ensuring the quality of life of the elderly, are gaining special importance. In order to study the supply of social services and socio-cultural activities for the elderly, interviews were conducted with social workers of Lithuanian and Ukrainian care homes. The study aims to compare the diversity and acceptability of social services and socio-cultural activities provided in these countries for the elderly, to assess the shortcomings in the effectiveness of the application of these services and activities, and to propose a plan to improve their application.

The work consists of an Introduction, three chapters, a Conclusion, a List of References and an Appendix. The merit of the dissertation in the theoretical aspect is the analysis of audiovisual creativity as a structure of social and cultural activity and the audiovisual basis of the film image as the specificity of its psychological impact. The work carried out a scientific study of the phenomenon of psychological thriller in cinema and its transformation in the postmodern era and in the conditions of modern mass culture of the XXI century. In modern science, this topic is practically not studied, which deserves special attention. Of interest is the practical component of the master's thesis related to the development of a chronological site "Psychological Thriller in Cinema", including the choice of a platform for hosting the site, the development of a general design solution for the site, the creation of the main part of the site and the "dictionary" of the site.

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar la perspicacia pedagógica de la relación entre la Animación Sociocultural y el educar, verificando cuál es la percepción que los alumnos y docentes revelan sobre la misma. La animación sociocultural es relevante en el desarrollo del niño, pues valorizando el juego, previene conflictos y favorece las relaciones sociales. En la escuela, esta interrelación con el juego hace que la acción de la Animación Sociocultural aplicada a la educación ayude a construir la personalidad del niño, instruyendo normas y reglas de socialización de manera lúdica. Así, el presente estudio intentó demostrar cuál es el valor que la Animación Sociocultural tiene en la integración y éxito escolares, en la percepción de los propios alumnos de la Enseñanza Básica. De esta forma, se implementó el Programa TEIP en la Agrupación de Escuelas Nunes Álvares en Castelo Branco, Portugal. Se pretendió verificar si los alumnos del 1º Ciclo consideran importante la relación entre la Animación Sociocultural y la enseñanza curricular con el objetivo de promover la integración y éxito escolares. Después de la participación de 439 alumnos, se verificó que la relación entre la animación y el educar es relevante y positiva, siendo vista como promotora y facilitadora del éxito e integración escolar., The present article aims to show the pedagogical perspective of the relationship between the Sociocultural Animation and the educar, verifying the perception that the students and teachers reveal about it. Sociocultural animation is relevant in the development of the child, because valuing play, prevents conflicts and favors social relations. At school, this interaction with play makes the action of Sociocultural Animation applied to education help to build the personality of the child, instructing rules and rules of socialization in a playful way. Thus, the present study sought to demonstrate the value that Sociocultural Animation has in school integration and success, in the perception of the students themselves and their respective teachers of Basic Education. In this way, the TEIP Program was implemented in the Grouping of Schools Nunes Álvares in Castelo Branco. After the participation of 439 students, it was verified that the relationship between animation and educating is relevant and positive, being seen as a promoter and facilitator of school success and integration.

The aim of this paper is to define the functions of a community center under the conditions of contemporary socio-cultural space.Research methodology. Scientific provisions of the research are argued at the level of a set of general scientific methods of knowledge (analytical, source study, historical) and cultural approaches: typological and evolutionary methods, as well as the method of system analysis and synthesis. Results. It was revealed that community centers are leisure centers for all categories of the population in the socio-cultural environment of the 21st century, subject to qualitative and professional organization, that makes them diverse and spiritually rich. At the present time the socio-cultural institutions perform different functions related to the leisure needs of youth, trying to offer a variety of forms and types of entertainment programs according to the age structure.Novelty. The activity of community centers in the historical perspective and at the present stage is explored; the concept «community center» is specified and its functions are defined under the conditions of contemporary socio-cultural space. The purpose, tasks and main functions of a community center (recreational, communication, educational and compensatory-relaxation) are analyzed.The practical significance of the research may be used in developing lectures by specialists in cultural studies., Досліджено діяльність будинків культури на сучасному етапі; в історичній перспективі уточнено поняття «будинок культури» та визначено його функції в умовах сучасного соціокультурного простору. Проаналізовано завдання та головні функції будинку культури (рекреаційну, комунікативну, просвітницьку, освітню, культурно-творчу, виховну, пізнавальну, розважальну, методичну та компенсаторно-релаксаційну). Доведено, що будинки культури, за умови якісної та професійної організації діяльності, — центри дозвілля багатьох категорій населення в соціокультурному середовищі сьогодення. На сучасному етапі саме ці соціально-культурні інститути виконують різноманітні функції реалізації дозвіллєвих потреб, пропонуючи різноманітні форми та види дозвіллєвих програм відповідно до вікового, професійного та соціального складу учасників.

В статье идет речь о социально‑культурной деятельности как ресурсе развития духовно‑нравственных ценностей молодежи. Авторы статьи акцентируют внимание на том, что в настоящее время развитие духовно‑нравственных ценностей молодежи в социально‑культурной среде малых городов является одной из главных проблем современного общества. Подчеркивается, что роль социально‑культурной среды малых городов в формировании духовно‑нравственных ценностей молодежи в значительной мере увеличивается в связи со значимостью уникального микроклимата, в ко‑ тором естественным и непринужденным образом проходит процесс социализации и на комфортном уровне поддерживается культурная преемственность поколений. С целью выявления особенностей восприятия духовно‑нравственных ценностей молодежью авторами статьи проведено анкетирование на базе МБУК «ЦКР «Юбилейный» (город Бирюч Красногвардейского района Белгородской области), в ходе которого выяснилось, что особенности восприятия духовно‑нравственных ценностей отдельной молодежью в социально‑культурной среде города Бирюч находятся на частично автономном уровне. Социально‑культурная среда города Бирюч способна предоставить все необходимые условия для раз‑ вития полной автономности молодежи, но для этого ей следует использовать предельно ясные и глубоко выстроенных механизмы по формированию духовно‑нравственных ценностей, заблаговременная реализация которых исключит пренебрежение молодежью содержанием собственного внутреннего мира в процессе повышения личностного роста. В ходе исследования авторами разработан проект экспериментальных курсов для молодежи «Восхождение» по развитию предпосылок к формированию духовно‑нравственных ценностей молодежи в социально‑культурной среде малого города Бирюч. The authors of the article emphasize that at present the development of spiritual and moral values of young people in the socio‑cultural environment of small cities is one of the main tasks of cultural institutions and the main way to overcome one of the key problems of our time It is emphasized that the modernization of modern socio‑cultural institutions should be aimed at strengthening the priorities of spiritual and moral education. The modeling of the educational space in order to ensure self‑determination of the individual, the creation of conditions for its self‑realiza‑ tion, involves the search for new methods and forms of work. The authors conducted a survey, which suggests that the peculiarities of the perception of spiritual and moral val‑ ues by individual youth in the social and cultural environment of the city of Biryuch are at a partially autonomous level. The social and cultural environment of the city Biryuch is able to provide all the necessary conditions for the development of com‑ plete autonomy of each youth, but for this it should use extremely clear and deeply built mechanisms for the formation of spiritual and moral values, the implementation of which in advance will lead to the exclusion of indulgence in the content of their own internal world in the process of increasing personal growth. In the course of the study, the authors developed a draft of the experimental courses for youth “Ascension”, on the development of prerequisites for the formation of spiritual and moral values of young people in the social and cultural environment of the small city Biryuch. The fundamental role of cultural institutions of small cities has been defined, which consists in the preservation, formation and presentation of cultural products of spiritual and moral value, №2(47) (2019)
