Resumen Colombia vive un conflicto armado de larga duración, con más de nueve millones de víctimas registradas y daños profundos en la vida de personas, comunidades y en la sociedad misma. El artículo abarca tres temas: primero, una breve contextualización sobre el conflicto armado colombiano y algunos de sus impactos. En la segunda parte, a partir de fuentes documentales, se intentan trazar los recorridos de la aproximación de la terapia ocupacional colombiana al conflicto armado. Se identifican tres momentos: prudente indiferencia, despertar lento y reconocimiento de la responsabilidad ético-política. Finalmente, se presentan algunos desafíos para contribuir como profesión a la construcción de paz en Colombia, entre ellos, la expansión y el fortalecimiento de la profesión para llegar a los territorios más afectados por el conflicto; el mejoramiento de la formación y de la práctica para responder a la complejidad de la situación del país, y la reflexión sobre los objetivos y las implicaciones éticas de las acciones profesionales con víctimas, excombatientes o comunidades afectadas por el conflicto. Resumo Colômbia vive um conflito armado de longa duração, com mais de nove milhões de vítimas registradas e profundos danos na vida das pessoas, comunidades e na sociedade. Este estudo abrange três tópicos: primeiro, uma breve contextualização do conflito armado colombiano e alguns de seus impactos. Na segunda parte, a partir de fontes documentais, tenta-se traçar as rotas das aproximações da terapia ocupacional colombiana ao conflito armado e identificam-se três momentos: prudente indiferença, despertar lento e reconhecimento da responsabilidade ético-política. Por fim, apresentam-se alguns desafios sobre a contribuição profissional para a construção da paz na Colômbia, entre eles, a expansão e fortalecimento da profissão para chegar até os territórios mais afetados pelo conflito, o aprimoramento da formação de terapeutas ocupacionais e da prática para responder à complexidade da situação do país e a reflexão sobre os objetivos e as implicações éticas da ação profissional com vítimas, ex-combatentes ou comunidades afetadas pelo conflito. Abstract Colombia experiences a long-running armed conflict, with more than nine million registered victims and profound damage to people, communities, and society. The article covers three topics. First, a brief contextualization of the Colombian armed conflict and some of its impacts. Secondly, based on documentary sources, it attempts to trace how Colombian occupational therapy has approached the armed conflict. It identifies three stages: prudent indifference, slow awakening, and recognition of ethical-political responsibility. Finally, it presents some challenges for the professional contribution to peacebuilding in Colombia, such as expanding and strengthening the profession to reach the territories most affected by the conflict, improving occupational therapists’ training and practice to respond to the complexity of the country's situation, and reflecting on the objectives and ethical implications of professional actions for the victims, ex-combatants or communities affected by the conflict.

Resumo Este artigo decorre de uma pesquisa que teve como objetivo central compreender como pessoas trans constroem estratégias de enfrentamento às condições de marginalização ao longo de suas histórias de vida. Para tanto, tomamos a história oral de vida como metodologia de apreensão de dados, além de ferramentas da etnografia, como a observação. Os dados foram organizados a partir do conceito de modos de vida, à luz da perspectiva de Isabel Guerra, disposta em três eixos centrais: o sistema e os atores sociais; a história e o cotidiano; o objetivo e o subjetivo na percepção do real. Além disso, procedemos as análises por uma perspectiva interseccional, e os resultados indicaram que as imposições do sistema sexo-gênero-desejo operam desde as primeiras etapas da vida, numa engrenagem que articula diversos atores e instituições sociais, como também os acessos às condições concretas de operacionalização da vida. A forma pela qual essas imposições e limites são percebidos media as principais estratégias de enfrentamento, que agregam a reconfiguração da rede de suporte e a luta pelo reconhecimento, que, no caso das/os interlocutoras/es da referida pesquisa, deu-se através da educação e dos espaços do movimento social. A análise amparada no conceito de modos de vida ofereceu uma potente lente para reconhecer as demandas desse grupo, apresentando-se como possibilidade teórico-metodológica para a terapia ocupacional social. Abstract This article stems from a doctoral dissertation whose main objective was to understand how transgender people build strategies to cope with conditions of marginalization throughout their life histories. To this end, the oral history of life was employed as a data collection methodology; ethnographic tools, such as observation, were also used. The data were organized from the concept of ways of life in the light of Isabel Guerra’s perspective and arranged in three central axes: the system and social actors; history and everyday life; the objective and the subjective in the perception of reality. In addition, the analyses were carried out from an intersectional perspective, and the results indicated that the impositions of the sex-gender-desire system operate from the first stages of life, in a mechanism that connects various actors and social institutions, as well as access to concrete conditions of life operationalization. How these impositions and limits are perceived mediates the main coping strategies, which include the reconfiguration of the support network and the struggle for recognition, which, in the case of the interlocutors in the aforementioned research, occurred through education and the social movement spaces. The analysis supported by the concept of ways of life offered a powerful lens to identify this population’s demands, and it is a theoretical-methodological possibility for social occupational therapy practice.

Background: The “problem of drugs” is a complex phenomenon with different social dimensions. Thus, the strategy to care for people who use drugs should consider their social support networks, which are defined here as dimensions that compose the social integration of people. Objective: In this paper, we investigate how social support networks are organized, structured, and constituted according to clients of a mental health service dedicated to treat alcohol and drug abuse. Methods: Participant observation was employed in a mental health service for three months, and six interviews and three groups of activities were conducted with local clients. Results: The results demonstrated that the social network of this group is composed of informal and formal social supports: the former includes family, religious institutions, and work, and the latter was represented by a few institutions. However, there are few supports that contribute to the social inclusion and participation of these clients. Conclusions: Care actions should expand social networks, helping to create more solid relationships, considering the macro and micro social-life dimensions. Occupational therapists can contribute to this process by driving their action toward social life, building more social participation strategies, and reconfiguring care and social meaning in everyday life.

Introduction: Although the social service is the historical action field of the occupational therapist in Brazil, only in 2011, the profession was recognized as one of the qualified professional categories to act in reference teams and/or social services management of the Brazilian Public Social Service System – SUAS. Thus, it is relevant to identify and understand the characteristics of such insertion, in the context of the action of such professionals in social policies. Objective: To describe and characterize the insertion of the occupational therapist in the SUAS, from 2011 to 2016, based on official data. Method: It is a descriptive study performed from secondary data obtained by the SUAS Census. The data were extracted selecting the category of occupational therapists and the respective variables available in the survey. We used a descriptive analysis by simple frequency. Results: In 2016, there were 1.323 occupational therapists officially registered working in the different services provided by the SUAS. From 2011 to 2016, homogeneous characteristics were identified as predominant in the professionals regarding the region of higher prevalence (Southeast), workload (20-30 hours/week), gender (female), and function (member of the technical team). However, there is a variation in the employment type among the different social service units (from civil servants to employees from the private sector). Conclusion: An increase in occupational therapists working in social service was verified, and the organization is required from the profession to meet such demand. It is very important to demonstrate the technical-professional capacity in these spaces, as well as to include an appropriate academic education to perform in this context.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) This thesis has as its main objective to understand how trans people throughout their life histories build strategies to face the conditions of marginalization. It was intended to map the social support networks (formal and informal), as well as the social actors that compose/compose the life stories of these subjects; identify life projects (executed or not) and how they became dynamic throughout their lives; identify the strategies developed, activated and the way they were executed to face the conditions of marginalization; identify the social and political aspects that are involved in these experiences; and understand what are the expectations of these subjects in relation to the process of participation and social emancipation. To this end, it uses the oral history of life as a data collection methodology, in addition to ethnographic tools, such as observation. Data analysis was based on the concept of ways of life, in the light of the perspectives of Elizabeth Lobo and Isabel Guerra, arranged in three central axes: The system and social actors, history and everyday life, and the objective and subjective in the perception of reality. Furthermore, the analyzes were followed by an intersectional perspective, considering that several other social markers of difference, such as race, class, generation and regionality, were relevant in the construction of coping strategies. The results indicated that the impositions of the sex-gender-desire system operate from the first stages of the life course, using as a gear different actors and social institutions, such as the family, school, health services, among others, in order to regulate social practices and life projects, delimiting the tools and access to the concrete conditions of operationalization of life. The way in which these impositions and limits are perceived mediate the main coping strategies, which are configured as the redefinition of social support networks, the search for strengthening and recognition, which, in the case of the informants in this research, took place through the education and/or insertion in the spaces of the social movement. The analysis based on the concept of ways of life offered a powerful lens for recognizing the demands of this social group, presenting itself as a possibility for social occupational therapy. Esta tese tem como objetivo central compreender como pessoas trans ao longo de suas histórias de vida constroem estratégias de enfrentamento às condições de marginalização. Pretendeu-se mapear as redes sociais de suporte (formais e informais), bem como os atores sociais que compõe/compuseram as histórias de vida desses sujeitos; identificar os projetos de vida (executados ou não) e como eles se dinamizaram ao longo de suas vidas; identificar as estratégias elaboradas, acionadas e a forma com que foram executadas para o enfrentamento das condições de marginalização; identificar os aspectos sociais e políticos que estão envolvidos nessas vivências; e compreender quais as expectativas desses sujeitos em relação ao processo de participação e emancipação social. Para tal, toma como metodologia de apreensão de dados a história oral de vida, além de ferramentas da etnografia, como a observação. A análise dos dados se deu a partir do conceito de modos de vida, à luz das perspectivas de Elizabeth Lobo e Isabel Guerra, disposta em três eixos centrais: O sistema e os atores sociais, a história e o cotidiano, e o objetivo e o subjetivo na percepção do real. A forma na qual essas imposições e limites são percebidos mediam as principais estratégias de enfrentamento, que se configuram como a redefinição das redes sociais de suporte, a busca pelo fortalecimento e reconhecimento, que no caso das/os interlocutores desta pesquisa se deu através da educação e/ou da inserção nos espaços do movimento social. This work presents, as an experience report, the proposal which has been presented since 2015 as teaching, research and extension activity in social occupational therapy for undergraduate and graduate students from the Federal University of São Carlos – Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar). Starting from the proposal of working with poor young people from the urban area of São Carlos city, connected to the METUIA Program, which performs an extension program in such region since 2005, we weekly performed Workshops, Dynamics and Projects with the purpose of promoting spaces for interaction and socialization in a public square. The work methodologically used analyses from the participant objectivation at the workshops process, recorded through the production of academic papers and field journals, along with interviews made with participants. The results have shown the use of public spaces as a strategical possibility for the territorial and community work with the youth. The conclusion is that the squares can be a place for living and one of the elements on the constitution of social support networks for the young people from that neighborhood.

Resumo Introdução Embora a assistência social seja um campo de atuação histórico do terapeuta ocupacional no país, somente em 2011 a profissão foi reconhecida como uma das categorias profissionais habilitadas a atuar nas equipes de referência e/ou gestão dos serviços socioassistenciais do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS). Assim, é relevante identificar e compreender as características dessa inserção, contextualizada na atuação desse profissional nas políticas sociais. Objetivo Descrever e caracterizar a inserção de terapeutas ocupacionais no SUAS, no período 2011-2016, com base em dados oficiais. Método Trata-se de estudo descritivo realizado a partir de dados secundários obtidos pelo Censo SUAS. Os dados foram extraídos selecionando a categoria terapeutas ocupacionais e as respectivas variáveis disponíveis no levantamento. Realizou-se análise descritiva por frequência simples. Resultados Em 2016 havia 1.323 terapeutas ocupacionais oficialmente registrados como atuantes nos diferentes serviços do SUAS. Entre 2011-2016 identificou-se características predominantes homogêneas dos profissionais em relação à região de maior prevalência (sudeste), carga horária de trabalho (20 a 30 horas/semana), gênero (feminino) e função exercida (componente da equipe técnica). Ressalta-se, porém, variação do vínculo empregatício entre as diferentes unidades socioassistenciais (entre servidores estatutários e celetista do setor privado). Conclusão Constatou-se um aumento de terapeutas ocupacionais atuando na assistência social, requerendo contínua organização da profissão para atender tal demanda. É imperativo demonstrar a capacidade técnico-profissional nestes espaços, além de abarcar uma formação acadêmica adequada para atuação neste contexto. Resumo Introdução Os terapeutas ocupacionais são profissionais que podem desenvolver ações direcionadas aos adolescentes autores de ato infracional, contudo, esta prática ainda é pouco debatida. Objetivo Identificar a produção da literatura científica, especificamente em artigos de periódicos indexados, acerca da terapia ocupacional e ações com adolescentes autores de ato infracional. Método Revisão de escopo da literatura, com busca em seis diferentes bases de dados, além de diretórios em quatro revistas brasileiras de terapia ocupacional, utilizando termos referentes à profissão e correlatos à temática. Após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, resultaram 13 artigos que especificavam relações entre a terapia ocupacional e práticas com adolescentes autores de ato infracional. Resultados Foram elencadas três temáticas para discussão: 1. As diferentes terapias ocupacionais no tempo e espaço; 2. Marcos de referência e modelos de intervenção; 3. Terapia ocupacional como clínica da saúde ou como ação social. A prática do terapeuta ocupacional neste contexto ainda é pouco difundida, sendo que se utiliza de diferentes marcos de referência e modelos de intervenção, majoritariamente sob princípios utilizados na atenção à saúde, apesar de também haver relatos da ação profissional voltada ao contexto macrossocial que envolve os adolescentes. Conclusão Compreende-se que uma maior difusão das reflexões e práticas profissionais junto a adolescentes no sistema de socioeducação contribuiria significativamente para um repensar contínuo acerca da especificidade do terapeuta ocupacional nesta área, fortalecendo também o seu reconhecimento como profissional constituinte e contribuinte para a área da justiça juvenil. Abstract Introduction Occupational therapists are professionals who can develop actions aimed at adolescents who have committed infractions; however, this practice is still little known. Objective To identify the production in scientific literature, specifically in articles from indexed journals, about occupational therapy and actions with adolescent offenders. Method Scope review of the literature, searching in six different databases, as well as directories in four Brazilian occupational therapy journals, using terms related to the profession and related to the theme. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 13 articles specified relationships between occupational therapy and practices with adolescents who committed infractions. Results Three themes emerged for discussion: 1. The different occupational therapies in time and space; 2. Framework and intervention models; 3. Occupational therapy as a health clinic professional or social action. The practice of the occupational therapist in this context is still not widespread, as it uses different reference frameworks and intervention models, mostly under principles used in healthcare, although there are also reports of professional action focused on the macro-social context that involves teenagers. Conclusion It is understood that a greater diffusion of reflections and professional practices in this context of practice would contribute significantly to a continuous rethinking about the specificity of the occupational therapist in this area, also strengthening the recognition of the profession as a constituent and a contributor to the area of juvenile justice.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) Urban mobility, a physical displacement that occurs daily by people and groups in urban space, with significance related to the sociocultural context, is relevant because it represents evolving aspects of social relations in cities, demonstrating possibilities or restrictions of social life. This concept approaches occupational therapy because it is intrinsic to the everyday life of the individuals, object of study and locus of the action of the profession. Upon the question "How is the daily life of young favela dwellers, with regard to their mobility through different territories of the city?", this research presents as a general objective to understand and discuss the daily mobility of young dwellers of “Complexo de favelas do Alemão”, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, RJ. Specific objectives are: (1) to understand, through the use of activities, the narratives of young people about their everyday lives, with emphasis on their urban mobility; (2) to analyze the aspects that interfere in their urban mobility and (3) to reflect on the relationships between urban youth mobility and professional practice in occupational therapy. Methodological procedure are based on the materialistic-historical dialectical approach. Data production took place from September to December 2018, in a Non-Governmental Organization located within “Complexo do Alemão”. Workshops were held with different themes, namely: one workshop to presentation, four workshop to constructing the "Youth City", three workshop to creating of a Manga and one workshop in a public event on Youths and Human Rights. In addition, we follow-up individually four young people to understand their narratives about urban mobility, at this moment we also applied activities with visual resources (such as maps, fanzine and photos), and we. Made specifically one individual and territorial follow-up. The workshops were understood, from the reference of social occupational therapy, as collective processes inserted in a historical and cultural moment. The results showed a restriction of urban mobility, such as young dwellers who have not been the beach of their city, for example. The following categories were emerged, related to the restriction of mobility: the place of residence, fear and issues of gender and sexual orientation. It is proposed in this thesis that the social occupational therapist, based on a political and social reading of the concept of urban mobility, can use in the evaluation process, in the elaboration of intervention strategies, in the objective of occupational therapy action and also as articulating and an active actor participant in the formulation of public policies. It is concluded that the urban mobility of young dwellers of that territory is restricted by the fact that the favela is the target of various stigmas related to who lives there, such as poverty and the social imaginary of criminals and/or ruffianly. The fear of unknown and violence, in addition to sexual orientation and gender identity, are intertwined with the question of being “favela dwellers”, influencing the possibilities and restrictions of urban mobility. This restriction, by symbolic and concrete aspects, impacts on the everyday life of these young people, restricting their repertoire of accessed activities and the used territories, and consequentially impacts on cultural capital and social participation. Social policies stood out as a possibility of expanding cultural and educational capital, which can lead to an enlargement of urban mobility and, perhaps, the social participation of young people. A mobilidade urbana, que envolve os deslocamentos físicos realizados cotidianamente por pessoas e grupos em espaço urbano, implicados por significados e significações relacionados ao contexto sociocultural, é relevante por representar aspectos transformados e transformadores das relações sociais nas cidades, demonstrando possibilidades ou restrições da vida social. Tal conceito se aproxima da terapia ocupacional por ser intrínseco ao cotidiano dos sujeitos, objeto de estudo e lócus da ação da profissão. Partindo do questionamento “Como é o cotidiano de jovens moradores de favela, no que se refere à sua mobilidade por diferentes territórios da cidade?”, a presente pesquisa apresenta como objetivo geral conhecer e discutir a mobilidade cotidiana de jovens moradores do Complexo de favelas do Alemão, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, RJ. Teve como objetivos específicos: (1) conhecer, por meio do uso de atividades, a narrativa de jovens sobre seus cotidianos, com ênfase em sua mobilidade urbana; (2) analisar os aspectos que interferem em sua mobilidade urbana e (3) refletir sobre as relações entre mobilidade urbana juvenil e a prática profissional em terapia ocupacional. Os procedimentos metodológicos se fundamentaram na abordagem dialética materialista-histórica. A produção de dados se deu entre os meses de setembro e dezembro de 2018, em uma Organização Não Governamental localizada dentro do Complexo do Alemão. Foram realizadas oficinas de atividades abertas com diferentes temáticas, a saber: uma oficina de apresentação, quatro para a construção de uma “Cidade da Juventude”, três para a criação de um mangá e uma oficina em um evento público sobre Juventudes e Direitos Humanos. Além das oficinas, acompanhamos individualmente quatro jovens para compreender suas narrativas a respeito da mobilidade urbana, quando utilizamos também atividades com recursos visuais (como mapas, fanzine e fotografia), sendo que um dos acompanhamentos se desdobrou em um acompanhamento singular territorial. As atividades foram entendidas, a partir do referencial da terapia ocupacional social, como processos coletivos inseridos em um momento histórico e cultural. Os resultados demonstraram restrição da mobilidade urbana, como jovens cariocas que não conhecem a praia de sua cidade, por exemplo. Foram elegidas as seguintes categorias, relacionadas à restrição da mobilidade: o local de moradia, o medo e as questões de gênero e orientação sexual. Propõe-se nesta tese que o terapeuta ocupacional social, a partir de uma leitura política e social do conceito de mobilidade urbana, possa utilizá-lo na avaliação, na elaboração de estratégias de intervenção, no objetivo de sua ação e também na atuação como articulador e participante ativo na formulação de políticas públicas. Conclui-se que a mobilidade urbana dos jovens moradores daquele território é reduzida pelo fato de a favela ser alvo de diversos estigmas, como a pobreza e o imaginário social de seus moradores serem criminosos e/ou desordeiros. O medo do desconhecido e da violência, além da orientação sexual e identidade de gênero se interseccionam com a questão de ser “favelado”, influenciando nas possibilidades e restrições da mobilidade urbana. Tal cerceamento, por aspectos simbólicos e concretos, impacta no cotidiano daqueles jovens, restringindo seu repertório de atividades acessadas e os territórios usados, tendo como uma das consequências a restrição do capital cultural e da participação social. As políticas sociais se destacaram como uma possibilidade de ampliação do capital cultural e educacional, o que pode levar a uma amplificação da mobilidade urbana e, quiçá, da participação social de jovens. Não recebi financiamento Social assistance was established as a field that sought to avoid disruption of the social fabric, thus preserving the contradictory capitalist logic, in addition to outlining a history marked by welfarism, philanthropy and volunteerism as main guidelines, in a long process until its recognition as a right. In Brazil, the paths towards the composition of social assistance as a public policy of State intervention culminated in the recent organization of the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS) in 2005. During its implementation, which occurred by means of Resolution no. 17, 2011, of the National Council on Social Assistance, the possibility of insertion of occupational therapists as part of the team and management of SUAS was made official, and such professionals were recognized. In view of the recent officialization of this category and the absence of nationally compiled data on professional insertion and practice in the sector, this study aimed to identify, describe and analyze the characteristics of professional insertion and the practices developed by occupational therapists in the social assistance units that compose the SUAS network. To this end, the methodological procedures were organized in two stages: one associated with a survey of the number of professionals working in the SUAS and another focused on the description and analysis of their insertion and practices, with the latter structured in three parts, as follows: 1) Online questionnaires – after completion of Stage I, when 1323 occupational therapists linked to social assistance were identified in 2016, professionals were contacted by telephone and invited to participate in the study by responding to the online questionnaire, and 242 forms were obtained; 2) Interviews – ten of these respondents were interviewed, and the interviews were recorded and transcribed; 3) Visits – four 5-day visits were made to social assistance units to observe the practices of occupational therapists, which were recorded in field diaries. Results from the different stages provided a set of information on the professionals regarding their insertion (region of the country, social assistance unit, employment bond, function, workload, schooling, and professional training) and developed practices (objectives of the interventions, types of assistance/follow-up, resources and activities used, among others). Association of these data with those made available by the Brazilian Ministry of Social Development in 2017 revealed that occupational therapists working in social assistance are predominantly female (n=93%), practice in the Southeast region (n=60%), in outpatient clinics (n=53%), with official employment bond (n=50%), and a 30-hour weekly workload (n=30%). As for qualitative data, these professionals develop various interventions, according to the particularities of the different units, namely, reception, workshops, individual and family follow-ups, home visits, and intersectoral network articulation. It was identified that such practices occur according in/with everyday lives, and are aimed at expanding the social support networks of users at the primary and secondary levels, paving ways to contribute to social protection. In conclusion, occupational therapists are linked to the SUAS as practitioners within the social assistance policy, and contribute to meeting to the demands of the sector and the needs of the population, in order to foster promotion of social protection. A assistência social foi constituída na busca para evitar rupturas no tecido social, preservando a contraditória lógica capitalista, delineando uma história marcada pelo assistencialismo, filantropia e voluntarismo como orientações principais, em um longo processo até o seu reconhecimento como direito. Os caminhos do Brasil em relação à composição da assistência social como área pública de intervenção estatal culminaram com a recente organização do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS), em 2005. Durante a sua implementação, por meio da Resolução no. 17 de 2011, do Conselho Nacional de Assistência Social, oficializou-se a possibilidade de inserção do terapeuta ocupacional como parte da equipe e da gestão, realizando o reconhecimento de tais profissionais ali inseridos. Tendo em vista a recente formalização da categoria e a ausência de dados compilados nacionalmente sobre o ingresso profissional e atuação no setor, objetivou-se, por meio deste estudo, identificar, descrever e analisar as características da inserção profissional e as práticas desenvolvidas por terapeutas ocupacionais em unidades socioassistenciais que compõem a rede SUAS. Para tanto, organizou-se os procedimentos metodológicos em duas etapas: uma relacionada ao levantamento do número dos profissionais atuantes no SUAS e outra voltada à descrição e análise de sua inserção e práticas, com a segunda estruturada em três partes, a saber: 1) Questionários online – após a realização da Etapa I, quando foram identificados 1.323 terapeutas ocupacionais com vínculo na assistência social em 2016, houve o contato através de ligações telefônicas, com o intuito de fazer o convite a participar do estudo, respondendo ao questionário online. Obteve-se 242 preenchimentos. 2) Entrevistas – foram entrevistados dez dos colaboradores respondentes e as entrevistas foram gravadas e transcritas. 3) Visitas – foram feitas quatro visitas em unidades socioassistenciais (durante cinco dias em cada local), para observação das práticas de terapeutas ocupacionais, registrando-as em diários de campo. Os resultados oriundos das diferentes etapas forneceram o conjunto de informações acerca dos profissionais em relação à sua inserção (região do país, unidade, vínculo, função, carga horária, escolaridade e formação profissional) e práticas desenvolvidas (objetivos das intervenções, tipos de atendimentos/acompanhamentos, recursos e atividades utilizados, entre outros). Associando os dados àqueles disponibilizados pelo Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social em 2017, constatou-se que os terapeutas ocupacionais na assistência social são predominantemente do gênero feminino (n=93%), estão na região Sudeste (n=60%), atuam em Centros Dia (n=53%), com vínculo empregatício celetista (n=50%) e com carga horária de trabalho de 30 horas/semana (n=30%). Sobre as informações de caráter qualitativo, observou-se que desenvolvem intervenções variadas, respeitando as particularidades das diferentes unidades, tais como: acolhimentos, grupos/oficinas, acompanhamentos individuais, familiares, visitas domiciliares e articulação em rede intersetorial. Identificou-se que tais atuações ocorrem no/com os cotidianos, voltadas à ampliação das redes sociais de suporte dos usuários, nos níveis primário e secundário, tecendo caminhos para contribuir com a proteção social. Assim, conclui-se que os terapeutas ocupacionais se inserem no SUAS como trabalhadores da política de assistência social e contribuem para responder às demandas do setor e às necessidades da população, no sentido de favorecer a promoção da proteção social.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) The “problem of drugs” has been understood as a complex phenomenon involving different aspects, especially the social situation. One of the strategies that has been debated is the understanding of the issues involving drugs in reference to social support networks. This knowledge is important for improving care for who uses drug in a prejudicial way related to health and social services. The social support networks are the dimensions that compose the social integration of someone, with emphasis on work relationships and sociability, primary and secondary, including social services. Based on this perspective, the objective of this study is to investigate, from the point of view of who uses drugs, how social support networks are organized and structured and what are the main elements that constitute them. Making use of the theoretical-methodological from the social occupational therapy, as well as the social understanding about drugs, a study was conducted in a Psychosocial Care Center - Alcohol and other Drugs (CAPS ad) for the period of six months. The study was conducted on the basis of observation, interviews and group activities, associated with the field diary containing all the data collected. It was identified that the social support networks from people who use drugs are composed of different elements. The informal dimension is made up of family, church, and work, including the relationships established in each location. In the formal context, the emphasis was social institutions, primarily to CAPS ad. However, for the most part, few supports are presented to contribute to an effective inclusion and participation in their social life, besides the lack of successful social policies. The consequences are people who use drugs in the path of marginalization and receiving insufficient social supports, including from public services that should guarantee the mediation to their rights. It was verified that it is necessary to have social services that offers different support for people who use drugs, expanding their social networks; helping them to have lasting relationships; considering their subjectivities and different care demands; supporting on the mediation by health professionals. In conclusion, the purpose of this study is to defend occupational therapy as a professional with abilities to contribute to the care process. A “questão das drogas” tem sido compreendida como um fenômeno complexo que envolve diferentes dimensões, sendo que se destacam aqui aquelas eminentemente sociais. Uma das estratégias que tem sido debatida, com a possibilidade de agregar maior eficiência ao cuidado de pessoas que fazem uso de drogas, a partir de serviços de saúde e sociais, é a compreensão da temática das drogas sob os referenciais das redes sociais de suporte, entendendo as drogas como um dos elementos que integram a dinâmica das redes. As redes sociais de suporte fazem parte das dimensões que compõem a integração social dos sujeitos, com ênfase nas relações de trabalho e nas redes de sociabilidade, primárias e secundárias, incluindo-se, nesta última, os serviços executores de políticas sociais. Nesta perspectiva, o objetivo deste estudo foi investigar, sob a visão das pessoas que fazem uso de drogas, como as redes sociais de suporte, formais e informais, são organizadas e estruturadas e quais são os principais elementos que as constituem. Operando o referencial teórico-metodológico da terapia ocupacional social, partindo, portanto, de uma compreensão social das drogas, foi realizado um estudo em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial - Álcool e Drogas (CAPS ad), pelo período de seis meses. Lançamos mão da observação participante, da realização de entrevistas e de grupos de atividades, associado ao diário de campo, como instrumento metodológico. Identificamos que as redes sociais de suporte de pessoas que fazem uso prejudicial de drogas são constituídas por diferentes elementos. A dimensão informal é composta pela família, pela igreja e pelo trabalho, incluindo as relações que são estabelecidas em cada local. Já no contexto formal, a ênfase foi dada às instituições, com grande centralidade ao CAPS ad. Entretanto, foram apresentados escassos suportes que efetivamente contribuíram para a inserção e a participação na vida social daquelas pessoas, associada à precariedade das políticas sociais. Como uma das consequências, aquelas pessoas sofrem processos de marginalização e recebem pouco suporte social, inclusive dos serviços públicos que deveriam buscar a garantia de seus direitos. Constata-se que é preciso ofertar um cuidado que diversifique as possibilidades de suporte às pessoas que fazem uso prejudicial de drogas, por meio da ampliação de suas redes sociais, auxiliando na criação de relações mais sólidas e considerando as subjetividades e as diferentes demandas dos sujeitos, apoiada na mediação do cuidado dos técnicos envolvidos. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) Based on the understanding of children as sociocultural beings and active agents in the productions of the world around them, this study aims productions of the world around them, the present work aims to understand the play and the relationships that precede, mediate and succeed them, as a meaningful activity of children and possibility of transformations and rereading of possible worlds, from three Mozambican communities located in the south of the country. The longitudinal fieldwork carried out from 2014 to 2018 covered three main data collection periods: six months during 2014, 2017 and 2018 in the communities of Mabotine (urban area of the capital of Maputo ), Matola A (peri-urban area of the city of Matola) and Nhandlovo (rural area in the city of Massinga, Inhambane), with children aged 3 years to 17 years. The places where the ethnographic research happened permeated the places where the children were, especially those in the community, such as the streets, the backyards, the “secret” spaces, the river, the houses, the schools, among others considered significant for them. With the ethnography, other methods have also been employed in seeking a greater understanding of play: photography, drawing, video, unstructured interviews, semi-structured interviews, and informal conversations. From the data collected and analyzed, four main points were worked on: the idea of being a child from the perspective of children and adults themselves; the playing and construction of toys from discarding material; play and the relationship with nature and landscapes; images of play and the use of photography. The aspect is brought, analyzed and discussed in chapters that follow the present thesis, considering its relationship with occupational therapy, its practices and theories. The results point to a kaleidoscope of diversity and language used by children in play, understood as a way of being in the world and from their spatiotemporal relations. Finally, questions are raised about the potentialities of future development in African and childhood studies, pointing to the coexistence of childhood and child pluriverses, as well as possible research methods. Partindo do entendimento das crianças como seres socioculturais e agentes ativos nas produções do mundo que as rodeia, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo a compreensão do brincar e das relações que o antecedem, o mediam e o sucedem, enquanto atividade significativa das crianças e possibilidade de transformações e releituras de mundos possíveis, a partir de três comunidades moçambicanas localizadas ao sul do país. A pesquisa de campo, desenvolvida durante os anos de 2014 a 2018, de maneira longitudinal, abrangeu três principais períodos de coleta de dados: seis meses durante os anos de 2014, 2017 e 2018, nas comunidades de Mabotine (área urbana da capital de Maputo), Matola A (área periurbana da cidade da Matola) e em Nhandlovo (área rural na cidade de Massinga, em Inhambane), com crianças com idades entre 3 e 17 anos. Os locais onde a pesquisa etnográfica ocorreu permearam os lugares em que as crianças estavam, principalmente os da comunidade, como as ruas, os quintais, os espaços “secretos”, o rio, as casas, as escolas, entre outros considerados significativos para elas. Junto com a etnografia, outros métodos foram também empregados, na busca de um maior entendimento sobre o brincar: fotografia, desenho, vídeo, entrevistas não estruturadas, entrevistas semiestruturadas e conversas informais. A partir dos dados levantados e analisados, quatro principais pontos foram trabalhados: a ideia de ser criança pela perspectiva das próprias crianças e dos adultos; o brincar e a construção dos brinquedos a partir de material de desuso (descarte); o brincar e a relação com a natureza e as paisagens; imagens do brincar e o uso da fotografia. Os aspectos também são trazidos, analisados e discutidos nos capítulos que compõem a presente tese, considerando a sua relação com a terapia ocupacional, suas práticas e teorias. Os resultados apontam para um caleidoscópio de diversidades e linguagens utilizadas pelas crianças no brincar, compreendido como forma de estar no mundo e a partir de suas relações espaço-temporais. Por fim, levantam-se questões sobre as potencialidades do devir dos estudos das infâncias e dos estudos africanos, apontando para a coexistência de pluriversos de infâncias e crianças, bem como de métodos de pesquisa possíveis. [Resumen] Introducción: En vistas a mejorar la comprensión de los conceptos relacionados con el campo social de la terapia ocupacional, se procede a estudiar la producción científica de Roseli Esquerdo Lopes, una autora brasileña referente en este a nivel mundial. Objetivo: Conocer, describir y analizar la producción científica publicada por la autora. Metodología: A través del sistema Currículo Lattes, fue posible obtener el listado de artículos de la autora, de los cuales se seleccionaron aquellos publicados en los últimos diez años. Se analizaron las variables bibliográficas y temáticas. Resultados: Se identificaron un total de 62 publicados, en los que se recogen una gran variedad de tipo de artículos en 30 revistas distintas, siendo la revista Cadernos de Terapia Ocupacional da UFSCar la que alberga más publicaciones. En el 100 % de estos la autora ocupa las principales posiciones en la autoría de los mismos: primera, segunda y última. Casi en la totalidad de los mismos son de autoría compartida, siendo Malfitano la coautora más frecuente. Asimismo, las temáticas de las revistas son variadas, siendo la Terapia Ocupacional y la Educación las que más destacan. La obra de Esquerdo Lopes se orienta constantemente hacia el desarrollo de la Terapia Ocupacional Social, los derechos, la ciudadanía y la justicia ocupacional de personas en situación de vulnerabilidad, siendo la adolescencia la población hacia la que más enfoca su trabajo. Conclusiones: Los objetivos fueron alcanzados. Es necesario fomentar las colaboraciones y el diálogo entre profesionales, reforzando las bases teóricas y prácticas de la terapia ocupacional, de manera que se consolide como un saber útil para enfrentar las desigualdades ocupacionales que se dan en la sociedad y en la profesión. Resultados: identificáronse un total de 62 artigos publicados, nos que se recollen unha gran variedade de tipos de artigos en 30 revistas diferentes, sendo a revista Cadernos de Terapia Occupacional da UFSCar a que máis publicacións se atopou. [Abstract] Introduction: In order to improve the understanding of concepts related to the social field of occupational therapy, we proceed to study the scientific production of Roseli Esquerdo Lopes, a Brazilian author who is a reference in this worldwide. Objective: To know, describe and analyse the scientific production published by the author. Methodology: Throughout the Lattes Curriculum system, it has been possible to access the author's articles list, from which those published in the last ten years were selected. Bibliographic and thematic variables were analysed. Results: 62 published scientific articles were identified, in which a great variety of type of articles are collected in 30 different journals, with the journal Cadernos de Terapia Occupacional da UFSCar hosting the most publications. In 100% of these, the author occupies the main positions in their authorship: first, second and last. Almost all of them are shared authorship, with Malfitano being the most frequent co-author. Likewise, the themes of the magazines are varied, with Occupational Therapy and Education being the most prominent. Esquerdo Lopes' work is constantly oriented towards the development of Social Occupational Therapy, rights, citizenship and occupational justice for people in vulnerable situations, with adolescence being the population towards which they focus their work the most. Conclusions: The objectives were achieved. It is necessary to promote collaborations and intercultural dialogue between professionals, reinforcing the theoretical and practical bases of occupational therapy, in order to consolidate it as a useful tool to face occupational inequalities that occur in society and in the profession. A educação em Moçambique carrega, ainda nos dias atuais, as marcas de um período histórico e das inúmeras questões sociopolíticas e econômicas vinculadas aos processos de colonização europeia. A partir de um trabalho etnográfico numa escola primária (1ª a 7ª classes) do bairro da Matola A, em Moçambique, foi possível estabelecer laços com as crianças, os professores e a comunidade, vivenciando o cotidiano escolar de cinco crianças entre os 7 e 13 anos de idade. Através da produção de relatos e passagens das experiências ao longo dos cinco meses em que a pesquisa ocorreu, as autoras trazem um panorama político da situação do país e do sistema de ensino, refletindo nas práticas escolares, e a interpretação das crianças, pais e professores sobre os processos formativos. Discute-se, também, a possibilidade de ampliação dos saberes envolvidos nos processos de ensino-aprendizagem, englobando múltiplos olhares e trocas de saberes para que a escola, enquanto lugar da infância, possa ser um lugar em que conhecimentos, culturas e fazeres sejam agregados e compartilhados por todos os atores sociais, com ênfase nas crianças, permitindo uma educação que as prepare para serem protagonistas dos seus mundos, num exercício de transformação de realidades. Education in Mozambique carries, even in the present day, the marks of a historical period and the numerous economic and socio-political issues linked to the processes of European colonization. From ethnographic work in elementary school (1st to 7th classes) in the neighborhood of Matola A in Mozambique, it was possible to establish ties with the children, teachers and the community, experiencing the daily school life of five children between 7 and 13 years of age. Through the production of reports and the experience over the five months when the research occurred, the authors bring a political panorama of the situation of the country and of the education system, and practices reflecting the interpretation of children, parents and teachers about formative processes. It discusses the possibility of expansion of knowledge involved in the teaching-learning process, encompassing multiple perspectives and exchanges of knowledge so that the school, as a place of childhood, can be a place where knowledge, cultures and practices are aggregated and shared by all social actors, with an emphasis on children, allowing an education that prepares them to be protagonists of their worlds, in an exercise of transforming realities.

The population that finds on the streets an alternative for their own survival and for sorting out their identities, is marked by a number of disruptions and violation of rights, resulting in vulnerability processes and social disaffiliation, given the current socioeconomic conditions and the neoliberal rationality. There is a need of innovative work that can add different sectors and knowledge, which defend the strengthening of a support network and services that aims the enfranchisement of the individuals, promote social participation and respect their diversity. Therefore, it is reported the experience of an extension project that promoted creative strategies to operate with the homeless from an arts and culture perspective. In order to do so, the weekly activities workshops promoted experimentations for the participants, aiming to express their potentialities, from the themes and requests relevant to the group, producing art, dynamics, and products that reflected the culture of the streets. Sensitive displacements were produced, noticeable to those involved, making the participants protagonists of their own expressions. The encounters took on creative proportions and composed new experiences of occupational therapeutic formation and practices in the social field. In defense of respect, appreciation of the human dimensions and capacities, especially of the groups in a vulnerable situation, associated with actions that aim to promote and extend their human and social rights.
