The 21st-century skills require education in Indonesia to train 4C skills (Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking, and Creative thinking), which are fundamental parts of students facing the era of society 5.0, one of which is creative thinking skills. Teaching materials to support these skills still need to be improved. This research aims to produce e-book based on the local wisdom of Siwalan (Borassus flabellifer L.) from Tuban oriented to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) to train students in grade X creative thinking skills on valid and practical biodiversity material. The validity of e-book was determined by three experts, namely two expert lecturers and one biology teacher. Readability test results measured the practicality of e-book. The results of the validity test obtained a score of 3.88, which is a very valid category, while the practicality test based on the fry graph was categorized as practical at level 10, suitable for the reading of grade X students. The results showed that the e-book based on Siwalan local wisdom is valid and practical for learning. Integrating contextual learning materials based on local wisdom can train 21st-century skills that foster students' concern for sustainable development.

Air is an important part of life. The Quality of air can be seen from three parameters, namely chemical, physical, and biological parameters. One of the biological parameters of air quality can be seen from the presence of microorganisms such as bacteria. The presence of airborne microorganisms, especially in enclosed spaces can affect human health, one of which can cause respiratory infections. On the other hand, people often use air freshener products. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the potential of air freshener based on siwalan (Borasus flabellifer) coir extract and lemongrass as antibacterial against airborne bacteria. This research is an experimental research with a pre test-post test design. The data obtained is in the form of the value of the Total Plate Count of indoor air bacteria before and after treatment using air freshener based on coir extract of siwalan and lemongrass. The results showed that both formulations (P1 and P2) of air freshener based on coir extract and lemongrass were able to reduce the number of airborne bacterial colonies in the room, with a significance value of 0.000

Siwalan's location in a coastal area affected by tidal floods affects children's enthusiasm for learning, especially in Islamic religious education. Seeing the condition of the area around SMP N 2 Siwalan, which is often affected by tidal floods, is one of the reasons why students lack knowledge about reading and writing the Koran. because when the tidal flood hits, students will not be able to go to the Koran at TPQ or Madrasahs that are affected by this tidal flood. This research is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. In overcoming difficulties in learning the Qur'an, what has been done is by organizing a Qur'an Reading and Writing program.

Siwalan is one of the community's agricultural crops, where this plant is often found in rural areas, and this plant is one of the crops that are managed in the small-scale agricultural business sector, the management of this agricultural business sector is classified as traditional both in terms of management methods and tools, because this business sector is an agricultural business that has been passed down from generation to generation. Palm plants are very beneficial for rural communities, because from all parts of the palm plant can almost be used. The results that can be produced from this plant are sap and palm fiber. The purpose of this research is the first to determine the factors that affect palm sugar business income, the second to determine the most dominant factors that affect palm sugar business income. This type of research is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis method. The object of this research is Jadung Village, Dungkek District, Sumenep Regency with a research sample of 70 respondents. The results showed that the variables age, education, length of business, number of dependents, number of trees, and cosmopolitan level had a significant effect on palm sugar business income. Based on the results of research on socioeconomic factors that affect palm sugar business income, it shows that. Socio-economic factors that affect palm sugar business income are age, education, length of business, family dependents, number of trees and cosmopolitan level, both jointly and partially. The most dominant factor that affects palm sugar business income in Jadung Village, Dungkek District, Sumenep Regency is the Number of Trees Factor, this can be seen from the amount of the beta coefficient variable the number of trees which is 0.396 greater than the others. Borassus flabelliger's fruit peel fiber is one of the plantation wastes that has not been optimally used. Meanwhile, it contains several crude fibers including cellulose, which is sufficient and can be isolated for various purposes. The aim of this study was to determine the characteristics of cellulose from siwalan fruit peel fiber (Borassus flabellifer). The isolation was conducted through a chemical process that comprises hydrolysis, delignification, and bleaching. Furthermore, water content, pH, form and Fourier Transform-Infrared (FTIR) analysis were the physical characterization and standardization parameters used to assess the Borassus flabellifer cellulose. The tests carried out showed that the isolate had a pH of 6.8 and a moisture content of 7.34%. The Fourier Transform-Infrared (FTIR) showed absorption at 3323.34 for O-H, 2893.22 for C-H, 1371.38 for C-O-H, and 1157.28 for C-O, which revealed that the values are the typical cellulose peaks. The results showed that cellulose isolated from Borassus flabellifer fruit peel fibers has numerous similarities with the standard synthetic cellulose used. Additionally, a large cellulose yield of 12.3% (w/w) was obtained from the fruit peel, hence, further development is needed because the isolate can serve as an alternative for animal gelatin made from pigskin. Vitamin E hanya disintesis di dalam tanaman dan sumber terbanyak adalah tanaman yang menghasilkan minyak, termasuk buah siwalan (Borassus flabellifer Linn.). Siwalan merupakan salah satu tanaman jenis palma yang dapat tumbuh baik di ekosistem pantai dan telah diketahui mempunyai banyak manfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetapkan kandungan vitamin E dalam buah siwalan. Ekstraksi vitamin E dalam buah siwalan dilakukan dengan ekstraksi kering dan ekstraksi basah untuk membandingkan perolehan kadar vitamin E-nya. Ekstrak dianalisis dengan sistem HPLC fase normal dengan sistem kolom: C18, fase gerak: etil asetat/ asam asetat/ heksana = 1/1/198, kecepatan alir 2 mL/ menit, detektor UV-Vis 295 nm dengan volume injeksi 20,25L. Validasi metode analisis untuk menentukan parameter uji kesesuaian sistem, linearitas, limit of quantification, akurasi, presisi dan recovery. Hasil ekstraksi buah siwalan diperoleh rendemen ekstrak basah sebesar 0.152% dan rendemen ekstrak kering sebesar 5.77%. Parameter validasi metode analisis berturut-turut meliputi uji kesesuaian sistem 1.34%, linearitas r2 0.995, limit of quantification 2.14 ng/ mL, akurasi % difference 6.33%, presisi intra-day 4.39%, inter-day 3.88% dan recovery 3.49%. Hasil proses validasi memenuhi kriteria menurut FDA (2001). Hasil analisis kandungan vitamin E diperoleh kadar rata-rata ekstrak kering sebesar 3.19% ± 0.12% dan ekstrak basah sebesar 4.76% ± 0.17%. The extraction of vitamin E in the palm fruit is done by extraction of dry and wet extrac­tion to compare the acquisition of vitamin E was. Extracts were analyzed by normal-phase HPLC system with a system of columns: C18, mobile phase: ethyl acetate / acetic acid / hexane = 1/1/198, flow rate of 2 mL / min, UV-Vis detector at 295 nm injection volume of 20 uL. Validation of analytical methods to determine the parameters of the system suitability test, linearity, limit of quantification, accuracy, preci­sion and recovery. Results obtained by extraction of palm fruit extract yield amounted to 0152% wet and dry extract yield of 5.77%. Parameter validation of analytical methods respectively include system suit­ability test 1:34%, 0995 r2 linearity, limit of quantification 2:14 ng / mL, 6:33 Difference%% accuracy, precision intra-day 4:39%, 3.88% inter-day and 3:49% recovery.
