This research defined the general objective of analyzing the impact generated by the implementation of the Single Day from the components of pedagogical accompaniment and human resources on the academic performance of students at La Ye Educational Institution in the years 2016-2018. It was methodologically based on the interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative research approach and a case study method, the research participants were 30 11th grade students, 3 teachers and 2 teacher directors. The documentary analysis, the survey and the interview were implemented as information gathering techniques. The results were that the implementation of the single day generated different changes in the study plans, pedagogical support and human resources in the aforementioned institution, which influenced the improvement of the results of the knowing 11 tests. It was concluded that the single day in its pedagogical and human resources component was configured as an improvement tool in the school processes developed in the La Ye Educational Institution, because it focused its attention on strengthening the teaching practices of teachers from reflection as a whole and a critical look at them. In addition, it allowed the transformation of the dynamics of review and adjustments to institutional documents. With the implementation of the single day at the La Ye Educational Institution, a positive impact was generated in the academic performance of the students and in the pedagogical practice of the teachers, as well as in the fulfillment of the institutional goals and the improvement of the educational quality Introducción ........................................................................................................................ 13 1. Se fundamentó metodológicamente en el paradigma interpretativo, con un enfoque de investigación cualitativa y un método de estudio de caso, los participantes de la investigación fueron 30 estudiantes de grado 11°, 3 docentes y 2 directivos docentes. Se implementó el análisis documental, la encuesta y la entrevista como técnicas de recolección de información. Se obtuvo como resultados que la implementación de la jornada única generó diferentes cambios en los planes de estudio, el acompañamiento pedagógico y los recursos humanos en la mencionada institución, lo cual influyó en el mejoramiento de los resultados de las pruebas saber 11°. Se concluyó que la jornada única en su componente pedagógico y de recursos humanos se configuró como una herramienta de mejora en los procesos escolares desarrollados en la Institución Educativa "La Ye", debido a que centró su atención en fortalecer las prácticas de enseñanza de los docentes a partir de la reflexión en conjunto y una mirada crítica a las mismas. Además, permitió la transformación de las dinámicas de revisión y ajustes a los documentos institucionales. Con la implementación de la jornada única en la Institución Educativa la Ye se generó un impacto positivo en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes y en la práctica pedagógica de los docentes, así como en el cumplimiento de las metas institucionales y el mejoramiento de la calidad educativa. The national average gas price for a gallon of “regular unleaded rose 1.7 cents to $4.005, according the daily measure on the AAA’s Web site. That surpassed the previous record of $3.989 set Thursday. The milestone was expected after a surge in crude oil prices added more than $16 to a barrel of oil over the last 2 trading days. Crude settled at a record $138.54 a barrel Friday, up by $10.75, after setting an all-time intraday high of $139.12. CNN reports that in a statement on Friday, “AAA urged gasoline station owners not to overreact to the single-day oil spike.” “Consumers should not be overcharged for gasoline simply because the oil markets reacted so strongly to today’s news,” AAA said. Putting perspective on the ever rising coast of gas, CNN notes that “so far this year, crude prices have increased more than 40%.” That’s right… 40% in just over 5 months.  The AAA survery shows that the average price per gallon “is $4 a gallon or more in 14 states and the District of Columbia.” California pays the most for gasoline, averaging $4.436, with Alaska and Connecticut both at $4.296. Other states above $4 are Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and West Virginia. Last Tuesday I saw that the price per gallon had risen to $4.43 at my local stations here in Los Angeles. This Wednesday, I leave for a 2 day trip to northern California to bring my daughter home for summer, from her first year in college.
