This study investigates the applicability of Metrology 4.0 (M4.0) technologies for manufacturing industries (MIs). The study employed a mixed-methods design whereby sixty MIs participated fully. The convergent parallel design was employed to collect, analyse, and integrate qualitative and quantitative data and results simultaneously. Minitab® version 21, Microsoft® Excel 2016, and SPSS® software collaboratively performed inferential and descriptive analyses. The results indicate a high level of awareness within MIs. MIs have implemented M4.0-related operations at the preliminary stage. Regarding the general M4.0, respondents are very unsatisfied with how their enterprises apply the metrological-related technologies by 6.65%, unsatisfied (23.33%), satisfied (56.67%), and very satisfied (13.33%). Respondents are very satisfied with how their enterprises undertake metrological activities (operations) by 16.67%, satisfied (26.67%), unsatisfied (33.33%), and very unsatisfied (23.33%). Despite these findings, the readiness level was 3.0 out of 5.0. There is room for transiting Metrology 3.0 to M4.0, thus requiring the transition framework. M4.0 can influence accruing benefits and motivations: pattern approval in metrology, improving standardisation, digitalise traceability, argument human intelligence, product improvement, managing measurement uncertainty, enhancing digital accreditation, assisting with a virtual inspection, automating quality checks, verification enabling, assisting predictive and data analysis, speeding up calibration, and assist in decision-making. In the context of intensified global climate change, Taxodium distichum has been attracting attention as an essential wetland plant. Through the literature visualization analysis software CiteSpace, the Spatial Distribution, Journal Distribution, Research Power, research status, and trends of T. distichum. The main conclusions are as follows. 1) The United States and China are the major countries for T. distichum research. The major institutions are Louisiana State University and the US Geological Survey. 2) The popular research areas mainly include growth, response, wetland, forest, climate change, adventitious root, and soil. 3) The research trends are soil and Florida (1992–98), survival (1999–2005), T. distichum (2006–12), salinity (2018–22), and sea-level rise (2020–22). These findings offer the current research status of T. distichum and could provide reference information for scholars in related fields to determine research directions and refine issues.

Solid-state lithium batteries have become the first choice for the next generation of high-safety and high-energy-density battery systems because they do not contain organic electrolytes. Solid electrolyte is one of the core technologies of solid-state battery research. In this paper, with the help of the scientific knowledge map, we used two scientometric tools, CiteSpace and VOSviewer, to conduct co-citation, co-word and cluster analysis of the feature on solid electrolytes for lithium batteries in the Web of Science database from 2012 to the present in the past ten years, revealing research frontiers and hotspots in the field. The results show that there are 5 very active research fronts and 6 hotspots in this current field of research. The research fronts are (1) garnet-type solid electrolyte; (2) stabilized lithium metal anode; (3) polymer composite electrolyte; (4) sulfide superionic conductor and (5) solid electrolyte interface phase. And the 6 hotspots include (1) research on ionic conductivity of garnet-type solid-state electrolyte all--solid-state battery, (2) research on solid-state polymer electrolyte and composite electrolyte, (3) electrode structure and material design and its effect on battery electrochemical performance, (4) interfacial phase problem of solid-state electrolyte, (5) lithium dendrite in lithium metal anode suppression problem and ITS application in lithium-sulfur batteries, etc., and (6) research on quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries with high energy density and high safety. Coral concrete with coral crumbs as coarse aggregate and coral sand as fine aggregates plays a huge role in solving the shortage of materials in the construction of distant island reefs. This paper began with a scientific measurement analysis of mainstream journals, keywords, scholars and institutions active in coral aggregate concrete research. Then the problems of preparation, mechanical properties, durability and microstructure of coral concrete were summarized, and the shortcomings of coral concrete research were proposed. Scientific metrology is one evergreen and Omni present field that has been continuously experiencing a great deal of research in developing new measurement benchmarks to cope up with the real time advancement in the current market. This has been greatly aided in recent times with the advent of intelligent computing networks and communication protocols through which there has been a great deal of migration towards cloud based services on a demand basis. The essential feature of cloud is the provision of quality service to the clients. The proposed research paper has taken the metrology of monitoring the flow rate in an industrial piping system towards a boiler as the case study and real time implementation achieved with the help of Labview and MyDAQ environment. The data from this DAQ is interpreted into the cloud network with subset reduction and regrouping based on features using a fuzzy c means clustering approach. The experimentation has been done for varying values of tuning constants in order to maintain constant flow and compared with existing research contributions. The results clearly indicate a fast computation time with low complexity overhead which is achieved with the help of cloud distribution. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To find a more effective method for evaluating the achievements of individual scholars, this study proposes a Dh-index analysis method from experts' perspective under the guidance of concept of Academic Credit Evaluation. This method inherits the advantages of traditional h-index and analyses the information valued by experts for the purpose of finding high impact scholars with a lower cost. Using Dh-index analysis method to calculate Dh-index and Dg-index, the study identified a list about scholars' academic status under the perspective of experts. Indices used in the method were listed in descending order by researching citations between 2000 and 2016 in Scientometrics and Journal of Informetrics during the process. In order to support the conclusions obtained from this method and test the feasibility and effectiveness of this method, we use Derek John de Solla Price Medal (DJSP Medal) as an example. The method simulates the selection process of DJSP Medal and the result is highly in accordance with the actual DJSP Medal winners, which proves that the method mentioned in this article is valid and might be used to predict potential winners. Citation behaviours can reflect some endogenous customs in academic communication, and can be used as effective signals to evaluate the status of scholars in their field. Hence, based on domain experts' citation behaviours, Dh-index analysis method can effectively combine qualitative and quantitative evaluation techniques. With less manpower, lower cost, simpler manipulation, more robustness and other advantages, the method can not only acquire valuable reference information, but also predict potential winners of DJSP Medal and other academic awards. This paper identifies the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics, research hotspots, research frontiers and knowledge base of green development research by using the bibliometric method, mapping knowledge domains and spatial analysis method, and through making a comparison of green development research between China and foreign. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) The number of research literature on green development in China and aboard both show a trend of increasing year by year, and the gap of annual volume evolve a M-shaped trend compared with international scholars. The United States and China are both major countries in green development research, and their international academic cooperation is relatively close. Moreover, the main research findings are concentrated in the northern hemisphere while there is less distribution in the southern hemisphere, and the eastern and western hemispheres are distributed widely. (2) The research hotspots of China's green development mainly include development concepts, regional and urban development and ecological environment while international green development mainly include green economy, framework, city and supply chain management. (3) The frontiers of China's green development research are focused on coordinated development, ecological environment and green development concepts while international green development research are more abundant. (4) The knowledge base of the research includes Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844, the concept of sustainable development and the theory of two mountains. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
