The difficulties and tasks of using software when applying hybrid learning technologies in the design of digital devices are considered. The composition of the device under study has been determined. Indicators of training quality are associated with the choice of software using the example of the degree of satisfaction with the design result. Software modules for the development of digital devices have been identified. The software of the device being developed is considered as a component of a laboratory workshop. A feature of hybrid learning is noted that is associated with the complexity of prototyping and the need to ensure compatibility of project files created online with computer software modules in the university laboratory. It is proposed to create a database of educational projects to ensure continuity in the design and formation of start-up projects. An example of the design results of a digital device for indicating and monitoring a process parameter is given. The difficulties when using domestically produced integrated circuits in educational design are highlighted. It is recommended to conduct hybrid training in the design of digital devices in small groups.

De nombreuses personnes ont été infectées par le COVID-19 et pour une minorité d'entre elles, des symptômes multi-systémiques, fluctuants et impactant la qualité de vie, ont persisté au-delà de 20 jours. Le COVID long a été d'abord défini par les patients eux-mêmes au printemps 2020 pour décrire leurs parcours de non-récupération. Plus précisément, le COVID long est défini comme « une constellation de symptômes physiques et mentaux qui peut persister ou émerger par la suite, façonnant un syndrome multi-systémique et invalidant, qui varie d'un patient à l'autre et qui fluctue dans le temps ». La persistance des symptômes du COVID, la diminution de la qualité de vie, l'incertitude quant à l'avenir, assorties parfois d'un faible soutien social perçu dans l'entourage médical et personnel, ont pu favoriser la survenue d'un trouble dépressif chez les patients atteints de COVID-long. L'objectif de cette recherche a été d'étudier l'effet des symptômes du COVID-long, des incertitudes et de l'altération de la qualité de vie sur les symptômes anxiodépressifs, tout en identifiant l'impact de variables modératrices comme les stratégies de coping et le soutien social. Deux cent quatorze participants atteints de COVID long (âgés de 18 à 68 ans, M = 44 ans, ET = 11), dont 93 % de femmes (n = 200) et 7 % d'hommes (n = 14), ont participé à cette étude quantitative transversale entre les mois d'avril et de juin 2022. Ils ont décrit leurs symptômes et répondu à cinq échelles : l'échelle d'intolérance à l'incertitude (EII), l'échelle des stratégies de coping (WCC), l'échelle de mesure de la qualité de vie (MOS SF-36), l'échelle de soutien social perçu (QSSP), et l'échelle de mesure d'anxiété et de dépression (HADS). Les participants ont déclaré des symptômes de fatigue 91 % (n = 171), de perte de concentration 52 % (n = 111), de douleurs 51 % (n = 110), de troubles du sommeil 49 % (n = 104) et des difficultés de mémorisation 41 % (n = 88). En comparaison avec la population générale, ils présentaient une qualité de vie dégradée, ainsi que des scores d'anxiété, de dépression et d'intolérance à l'incertitude élevés. Les scores aux stratégies de coping étaient également supérieurs aux normes relatives à la population générale, et ceux de la satisfaction du soutien social étaient généralement bons. Il est également apparu que les variables de l'intolérance à l'incertitude, de la qualité de vie et de la dépression étaient toutes corrélées entre elles. Par ailleurs, l'analyse de régression a permis de mettre en évidence les prédicteurs de la dépression. Ainsi les domaines de la qualité de vie Bien être émotionnel (β = –0,41, t (199) = –6,23, p < 0,01) et Fatigue/énergie (β = –0,16, t (199) = –2,83, p < 0,01) étaient des prédicteurs négatifs de la dépression, tout comme le score de coping centré sur le problème (β = –0,14, t (199) = –2,84, p < 0,05). Les symptômes de la maladie en lien avec les difficultés de concentration (β = 0,27, t (199) = 5,16, p < 0,01) et ceux impactant les projets (β = 0,18, t (199) = 3,31, p < 0,01) étaient quant à eux des prédicteurs positifs de la dépression. Le deuxième constat de cette étude est que les personnes prises en charge spécifiquement pour leur COVID long présentaient des scores significativement moins élevés d'anxiété et d'intolérance à l'incertitude malgré des scores à certaines dimensions de la qualité de vie plus faibles. Également, les personnes prises en charge dans notre étude développaient davantage de stratégies de coping basées sur le problème et déclaraient davantage de disponibilité et de satisfaction liées au soutien social. Enfin, sur le plan de la qualité de vie, la population prise en charge a exprimé une meilleure santé psychique. L'étude a montré, outre l'influence des symptômes du COVID long, de la qualité de vie, et des stratégies de coping sur les symptômes dépressifs, que la prise en charge spécifique des patients atteints de COVID long semble constituer en elle-même un facteur de protection de la dépression et de l'anxiété. Il apparaît donc essentiel que tout patient présentant un COVID long puisse bénéficier d'une prise en charge pluridisciplinaire spécifique à cette pathologie. Many people were infected by COVID-19 and for a minority of them, symptoms persisted beyond twenty days. These symptoms are multi-systemic, fluctuating, and impact the quality of life. Long COVID was first defined by patients themselves in the spring of 2020 to describe their recovery problems. Specifically, long COVID is defined as "a constellation of physical and mental symptoms which can persist or emerge afterwards, generating a multi-systemic and disabling syndrome, which varies from patient to patient and fluctuates over time". The persistence of COVID symptoms, the decrease in the quality of life, the uncertainly about the future sometimes accompanied by a low level of social support perceived in the medical and personal entourage may have triggered the occurrence of a depressive disorder in patients with long COVID. The objective of this research was to study the effect of long COVID symptoms, of uncertainty and the impairment of quality of life on the development of depressive symptoms, while identifying the impact of moderating variables such as coping strategies and social support. Two hundred and fourteen participants with long COVID (aged 18–68, M = 44, SD = 11), including 93 % females (n = 200) and 7% males (n = 14), participated in this cross-sectional quantitative study between the months of April and June 2022. They described their symptoms and responded to five scales: the Evaluation of Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (EII), the Coping Strategies Checklist (WCC), the Medical Outcome Study Short Form 36-item health survey (MOS SF-36), the Perceived Social Support Questionnaire (QSSP), and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). 91% of the participants reported symptoms of fatigue (n = 171), 52% a loss of concentration (n = 111), 51% pain (n = 110), 49 % trouble sleeping (n = 104), and 41% memory problems (n = 88). Compared with the general population, they presented a poorer quality of life, as well as high scores for anxiety, depression, and intolerance of uncertainty. Scores on coping strategies were also higher than the norms for the general population, and scores on satisfaction with social support were generally good. It was also found that the variables of intolerance of uncertainty, quality of life, and depression all correlated with each other. Furthermore, the regression analysis revealed predictors of depression. The areas of quality of life and emotional well-being (β = –0.41, t(199) = –6.23, P < 0.01) and fatigue/energy (β = –0.16, t(199) = –2.83, P < 0.01) were negative predictors of depression, as was the problem-focused coping score (β = –0.14, t(199) = –2.84, P < 0.05). Symptoms of the disorder related to concentration difficulties (β = 0.27, t(199) = 5.16, P < 0.01) and those impacting projects (β = 0.18, t(199) = 3.31, P < 0.01) were positive predictors of depression. The second finding of this study is that people treated specifically for their long COVID had significantly lower scores for anxiety and intolerance of uncertainty despite lower scores for certain dimensions of quality of life. The individuals who took part in our study also developed more problem-based coping strategies and reported more availability of and satisfaction with social support. Lastly, in terms of quality of life, the treated population expressed better mental health. The study showed that, in addition to the effects of long COVID symptoms, quality of life, and coping strategies on the onset of symptoms of depression, the specific treatment of patients with long COVID seemed to constitute in itself a protective factor against depression and anxiety. Mesurer les niveaux d'impact de l'événement, de dépression, d'anxiété et de stress chez la population générale du Sénégal durant la pandémie de la COVID-19, et en déterminer les facteurs associés. Il s'agissait d'une étude descriptive transversale réalisée au moyen d'un questionnaire en ligne auto-administré. L'impact de l'événement et l'état de santé mentale de la population ont été évalués par l'échelle révisée d'impact de l'événement (IES-R) et l'échelle de stress, d'anxiété et de dépression dans sa version courte (DASS21). L'analyse statistique a été effectuée avec le logiciel Jamovi version 1.6.23. Les facteurs associés aux troubles dépistés ont été déterminés par une régression logistique en analyse univariée puis multivariée. Ont été retenues 447 réponses au questionnaire. Environ un cinquième de notre population (19 %) a signalé un impact psychologique modéré à sévère de la pandémie. Et 13,4 %, 5,1 % et 15,2 % ont reporté respectivement des niveaux modérés à extrêmement sévères de dépression, d'anxiété et de stress. Le fait de vivre à Dakar et de ne pas avoir été scolarisé a été associé à tous les troubles étudiés. D'autres facteurs associés avaient été retrouvés. Notre étude a permis de déterminer la prévalence du syndrome de stress post-traumatique, de la dépression, de l'anxiété et du stress dans la population générale du Sénégal pendant la pandémie de la COVID-19. Elle montre que la pandémie affecte effectivement la santé mentale de la population sénégalaise. Cette incidence est fortement influencée par la zone géographique et le niveau d'éducation. Assessing of Impact of Event, depression, anxiety and stress levels in the Senegalese general population during the COVID19 pandemic and identifying associated factors. Socio-demographic data, psychological impact of the pandemic, and mental health status of participants were collected using an online questionnaire administered to the general population of Senegal between April 1st and April 30th 2021. Psychological impact and mental health status were assessed, respectively, by the Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R) and the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale 21 (DASS21). The data were analyzed by Jamovi software, version 1.6.23. Logistic regression in univariate and multivariate analyses were used to determine statistically significant associations with a significance level of P < 0.05. We enrolled 447 respondents with 19% reporting a moderate to severe psychological impact of the outbreak. Respectively 13.4%, 5.1% and 15.2% had moderate to extremely severe symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress. Statistically significant associations with higher odds of severe levels of psychological impact of the event, depression, anxiety, and stress were represented by five characteristics: Living in Dakar, no formal education, a personal medical chronic disease, a close family member with a chronic medical disease and poor to very poor self-reported health status. This study determined the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and stress in the Senegalese general population during the COVID19 pandemic. Our study assessed the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and stress in the general population of Senegal during the COVID pandemic19. We examine the motion verbs 奔, 走, and 跑 in Shanghainese and Mandarin Chinese, providing a first detailed investigation of their interpretive properties and distribution in motion and resultative constructions. We further consider their interpretive properties and distribution in light of theories of verbal meaning that postulate that verbs can entail either manner or result but not both and that such entailments determine how the underlying roots of verbs are integrated into event structure templates, or theories where there are no restrictions on how their underlying roots are integrated. Based on the properties of these verbs across Shanghainese and Mandarin, we conclude that entailments of manner and result are not complementary and do not completely determine root distribution in event structure templates, nor is the distribution of roots completely free. Rather, roots themselves must be able to idiosyncratically specify the kinds of interpretations they receive in particular structural contexts and that such structural contexts can be disjoint across languages even for the same conceptual root, which we capture using realizational rules within distributed morphology approaches that view roots as abstract, syntactic placeholders whose phonological pronunciations and semantic interpretations are specified only within the structural contexts they are embedded in. In various analyzes of the European institutions, including in the document related to the European Semester 2020, it is found that the progress in the reform of the public administration in Romania is limited in terms of the decision-making process, the quality and the effective use of the evaluations of the impact of the regulations. Also, an effective framework for strategic and budgetary planning in the field of public administration has not yet been created. Frequent reorganizations and the excessive use of temporary management instead of contests for the appointment of managers hinder the independence of the administration.Excessive bureaucracy and diminished possibilities for providing high-quality public services negatively influence the life of the citizen and the business environment. All these aspects highlight the need for a genuine reform of the civil service. The purpose of this paper is related to the study of the expectations generated by the civil service reform in the context of the implementation of the NRRP.

Abstract Objective To determine if the use of lubricating gel on the speculum during the cervicovaginal cytology examination interferes with the results obtained, as well as whether it reduces reported discomfort in patients. Data sources A systematic review was carried out according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) recommendations, with a search in the Pubmed/Medline, Scielo, Cochrane Library, Embase databases of articles published between January 2011 and May 2022. The keywords used were cytology, speculum, lubricant, result, and pain. Selection of studies The initial search resulted in 306 articles, of which were excluded three because they were duplicates, 257 after reading the title and abstract and 41 after reading the full text. Thus, five articles were selected for the study: four randomized clinical trials and one metanalysis. Data collection The selection of articles was performed by two investigators. The 5 selected articles were read in full and submitted to a comparative analysis. Data synthesis Screening through cervicovaginal cytology allows for early diagnosis and reduction of associated mortality, but the procedure can be associated with pain. A small amount of aqueous lubricating gel in the speculum can be used to reduce the discomfort associated with performing cervicovaginal cytology. Conclusion The use of lubricating gel in the speculum does not seem to be associated with a change in the cytology result and reduces the discomfort associated with its insertion into the vagina.

La fonction de juré d'assises n'est pas sans conséquence sur la santé mentale. En effet, l'exposition à divers types de preuves, ou encore la responsabilité qui leur est conférée, peut faire émerger de grandes difficultés d'ordre psychique chez les jurés. L'objectif de cet article est ainsi d'effectuer un état des lieux des conséquences du rôle de jurés d'assises sur la santé mentale et de ce qui est actuellement proposé en termes d'accompagnement en France. Une revue de la littérature française et internationale a ainsi été effectuée, permettant de mettre en lumière les principales conséquences du rôle de jurés d'assises sur la santé mentale ; mais également les méthodes de prises en charge actuellement proposées. Plusieurs études ont mis en évidence l'impact de cette fonction sur la santé mentale, notamment en matière de stress, trouble anxieux et/ou symptomatologie post-traumatique. Bien que des dispositifs se déploient au fur et à mesure en France, cette possibilité de prise en charge n'est pas présente sur tout le territoire et n'est pas systématique. De plus, le type d'intervention proposé (prévention, intervention post-procès) diffère selon le département. Au regard des données disponibles dans la littérature, une piste de proposition d'accompagnement généralisée des jurés d'assises sera proposée. Enfin, sera discutée la nécessité de systématiser l'évaluation des effets produits par les dispositifs d'accompagnement, autrement que par la seule satisfaction des participants. Jury duty, as exceptional as it is, is not without consequences for mental health. Indeed, during this assignment, randomly selected citizens are called on to judge people accused of criminal acts, to decide on their guilt and, if necessary, on their sentence. Thus, in court trials, the juror's voice will count just as that of the professional judges who sit with them. However, this enormous responsibility and the imperative aspect of jury duty can cause significant stress, especially when we consider that very often, jurors only have a limited knowledge of the judicial system. Also, being exposed to various types of evidence and to serious facts can be trying. Finally, the various obligations jurors have to meet can accentuate the difficulty of this duty, for example, the fact that, because the procedure is subject to sanctions, the jurors cannot discuss the case with others and must respect the secrecy of deliberations, even after the judgment has been rendered. For all these reasons, and also sometimes because of pre-existing individual vulnerabilities, the jury duty experience can lead to a variety of psychological difficulties, difficulties that are still not sufficiently taken into account. Although several forms of care are emerging today, such treatments remain varied and unequally available throughout the country. This article has multiple purposes. First, it aims to enumerate the possible consequences of jury duty on mental health, then, to present an inventory of what is actually available in terms of care in France. Finally, this inventory leads us to the possible intervention in several stages which could be made available to jurors, thereby offering a comprehensive and generalized support. A review of French and international literature was carried out, highlighting the main consequences of jury duty on mental health and the emergence of care systems, particularly in North America and France. Several studies stress the impact of jury duty on mental health, particularly in terms of stress, anxiety disorder and/or post-traumatic symptomatology. While support systems have emerged particularly in Canada, some have also gradually begun to be put in place in France, but they differ from one area to another, and they are not systematically made available. Some of them focus exclusively on post-trial support, while others also offer an upstream prevention phase. Finally, in terms of evaluation, the effectiveness of those interventions is estimated only by the participant's satisfaction, without any systematization or assurance of the real effectiveness of these interventions. Considering the available data in the literature and the various existing support systems, a proposal for a system of generalized support to jurors has been put forth in order to argue in favor of the adoption of this type of care. Indeed, in addition to a post-trial intervention, it seems important to plan for a phase of pre-trial prevention and the presentation of a treatment protocol, before the actual trial begins. Particularly, this should encourage jurors to more willingly take part in the post-trial intervention should signs of stress and anxiety emerge. Implementing the concept of lean production in modern enterprises of the garment industry is part of a complete production system, which includes social, organizational, economic, socio-economic, psychological, and technical components. Its ultimate goal is to increase labor productivity, and rational use of resources, increase business competitiveness and employee job satisfaction, and create a valuable product for the end consumer. In this context, problems arise regarding the implementation of lean production tools in all areas of the production process. Modern garment enterprises face many challenges. Improving the efficiency of management systems is inextricably linked to issues of planning and managing the production process, and frugality should be an integral part of all organizational processes. To increase the efficiency of the management system of a sewing enterprise, it is necessary to form the quality of service within the framework of all main and auxiliary business processes. To introduce frugality into all processes, it is necessary to define standards and methods for evaluating performance indicators. An important result of the introduction of lean production should be the satisfaction of end consumers with sewing products. For this purpose, the paper analyzes the implementation of lean production in the management system at sewing enterprises and proposes a mathematical model for the analysis of each component of lean production. The proposed mathematical model allows for analyzing and regulating industrial pro)duction processes at the stage of planning and implementation. The expected result of the implementation of the proposed universal algorithm is the reduction of production and non-production losses, improvement of product quality, avoidance of overloading of equipment and personnel, significant reduction of stocks, reduction of the cost of production, and improvement of the stability of the enterprise. The article considers the issue of development of enterprise, its current status, and role of performance management of its activity. It is determined that the effectiveness of enterprise is measured through a number of certain indicators: the result (profit), achievement of the set goals, effective work according to a number of other indicators (fixed assets, current assets, etc.), that is, the achievement of high/sufficient indicators of functioning. Apart from this, the article does not aim to obtain the complete list of these performance indicators. The study moreover consisted in the development of modern recommendations for enterprises, as business units, to improve the management of the effectiveness of their functioning. More precisely, effectiveness can be achieved through effective management of the operating system, that is, financial, labor, material and other resources, based on a skillful current and strategic planning, forecasting, monitoring, diagnostics, analysis of activities, and making the right managerial decisions. Therefore, the article among managerial measures proposes the use of financial planning, which is a key prerequisite for achieving high results regarding the enterprise’s activities. It is also proposed to improve performance through a number of the following implementations/improvements: use of both traditional and novel communication approaches and technologies; introduction of quality management principles into the system of management of effectiveness of the enterprise. The next logical step to improve the proposed management is the development of a balanced management system, which should include the following main subsystems: strategic planning; monitoring the implementation of the strategic course; attraction of resources; use of organization resources; coordination of business processes; control in all areas of the enterprise’s activities; goal-orientation of the enterprise; decision-making; staff motivation; delegation and distribution of responsibility; evaluation of the enterprise’s performance; forecasting the enterprise’s activities; staff training. These systems are proposed to be updated periodically. The article proposes to introduce interim management, which is aimed at achieving a positive result in business.

A major challenge for event structural theories that decompose verbs into event templates and roots relates to the syntactic distribution of roots and what types of event structures roots can be integrated into. Ontological Approaches propose roots fall into semantic classes, such as manner versus result, which determine root distribution (Rappaport Hovav and Levin 1998, 2010). Free Distribution Approaches, in contrast, hold that root distribution is not constrained by semantic content and roots are free to integrate into various types of event structures (Borer 2005; Acedo-Matellán and Mateu 2014). We focus on two different classes of verbs classified as result verbs in Rappaport Hovav and Levin's (1998, 2010) sense and their ability to appear in resultative constructions. We build on Beavers and Koontz-Garboden's (2012, 2020) proposal that the roots underlying these verbs fall into two classes: property concept roots, which denote relations between individuals and states, and change-of-state roots, which on our proposal, denote relations between individuals and events of change. We show that change-of-state roots, but not property concept roots, are able to appear in the modifier position of resultative constructions by providing naturally occurring examples of such resultatives. Combining the proposed lexical semantics of these two classes of roots with a reformulation of an Ontological Approach solely dependent on a root's semantic type, we show that this analysis makes novel and accurate predictions about the possibility of the two classes of roots appearing in resultative constructions and the range of interpretations available when change-of-state roots are integrated into resultative event structure templates. The aim of this research was to analyse the differences in performance indicators between outdoor and indoor professional padel tournaments according to the gender of the players, the round in the draw, the set number, and their result. Performance indicators (winning break points, errors, winning shots, winning smashes...) of 942 sets (402 matches) from the 2022 World Padel Tour (WPT) season were collected from WPT TV open access videos. Differences between outdoor and indoor tournaments in performance indicators according to the analysed variables were analysed through descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed significant differences between outdoor and indoor tournaments in men's padel with a higher number of winning shots (p < 0.001) in indoor matches, and in women's padel with a higher number of smashes (p < 0.001), winning smashes (p = 0.003) and errors (p = 0.002), in outdoor matches. In addition, the rounds in the draw, the set number, and its result were found to be parameters that influence the performance indicators analysed according to the tournament (outdoor and indoor). These findings are of great interest, as they provide players and coaches with an understanding of the performance indicators that affect the style of play depending on whether the tournament is played outdoors or indoors. The article examines specific issues of the effectiveness of legislative regulation of evaluating the results of regulatory influence as an important element of state regulatory policy in the field of agricultural activity in the context of the existence of a tendency to increase the number of legislative and by-laws as state regulatory instruments. The expediency of assessing the possible consequences of active law-making activities, in particular their impact on the economic efficiency of the agricultural sector, is determined. It is proposed to define the assessment of the regulatory impact in the agricultural sector as an impact aimed at improving the legal regulation of agrarian-economic relations, as well as administrative relations between regulatory bodies or other state authorities and subjects of agrarian management, and the purpose of such an assessment is defined. The expediency of including the studied term in the Law of Ukraine «On the principles of state regulatory policy in the field of economic activity» is substantiated. Based on the analysis of foreign experience in assessing the results of regulatory influence, it is proposed in the science of domestic administrative law to separate such an assessment into an independent procedure related to the process of development, justification and adoption of normative legal acts in the state policy system. It is proposed to shift the assessment emphasis to the deregulation of relations in the economic sphere with the mandatory consideration of the needs of small, medium and large subjects of the agrarian sector, as well as the determination of the related advantages for various social groups of the rural population. A number of proposals of a theoretical and methodological nature regarding the improvement of the regulatory impact assessment procedure have been provided. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

L'article est consacré aux conséquences de la pandémie causée par le SRAS-CoV-2 et, plus particulièrement, à celles des mesures préventives adoptées au cours de cette période sur les personnes présentant des troubles du spectre de l'autisme (TSA). Ces personnes sont plus à risque (surtout en cas de comorbidité avec la déficience intellectuelle) d'être infectées et hospitalisées plus longtemps. Cette augmentation du risque s'explique par la présence des facteurs biologiques de risque (hausse des cytokines, baisse de la mélatonine) et par des facteurs psychologiques liés au tableau clinique des TSA. L'hésitation face à la vaccination est discutée en relation avec le lien erroné entre vaccination et apparition de l'autisme. Tel qu'attendu, la pandémie a eu des effets négatifs sur le tableau clinique des enfants, adolescents et adultes avec des TSA. De manière inattendue, les chercheurs et les cliniciens ont mis, aussi, en évidence des effets positifs de la pandémie, décrits comme effets « paradoxaux ». L'explication de ces effets fait l'objet d'une section distincte de l'article. Est abordée, enfin, la question du transfert à la période post-pandémie de certaines conditions qui ont contribué aux améliorations. The article is devoted to the consequences of the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 and, more particularly, of the preventive measures adopted during this period on people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). These people are more at risk (especially in cases of comorbidity with intellectual disability) of being infected and hospitalized longer. This increased risk is explained by the presence of biological risk factors (increased cytokines, decreased melatonin) and by psychological factors related to the clinical picture of ASD. Hesitancy concerning COVID vaccinations is discussed in relation to the erroneously purported link between vaccination and the onset of autism. As expected, the pandemic has had negative effects on the clinical picture of children, adolescents, and adults with ASD: sleep disorders, increased behavioural disorders, more stereotypies, parental distress. Unexpectedly, researchers and clinicians have also highlighted the positive effects of the pandemic, described as the "paradoxical" effects (improved communication and relationships, decreased anxiety, being happier because of being more in control over their schedule). The explanation for these effects was related to non-attendance at school and, thus, no bullying, decreased sensory and social overload, increased time spent at home, and solidarity with the autistic community and with the entire community. Finally, the question of the transfer of certain conditions that contributed to the above-mentioned improvements to the post-pandemic period is addressed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aim: A ganglion cyst is the most common benign mass on the wrist. They are frequently seen on the dorsal aspect of the wrist. These lesions, which show symptoms such as pain and limitation of movement, can become restrictive in daily life activities. Surgical methods are accepted as the gold standard in treating this lesion, with a wide range of treatment options. In our study, two new surgical methods were described for the open resection of wrist dorsal ganglion cysts, which were not previously described in the literature. Three surgical methods were compared in open surgery for wrist dorsal ganglion cysts. Materials and Methods: Our study divided 180 patients with three different surgical methods into three groups. The functional results of the patients were evaluated with VAS and DASH scores at the 1st, 3rd, 6th, and 12th months. Comparisons were made in terms of developing complications and recurrence rates. Results: As a result of the evaluation, it was found that the functional outcomes, recurrence, and complication rates of all three surgical methods were similar. Conclusion: Considering that the results of 2 different surgical methods not described before are similar to those in the literature, the surgical techniques we described can be safely used in wrist dorsal ganglion cyst surgery. In various analyzes of the European institutions, including in the document related to the European Semester 2020, it is found that the progress in the reform of the public administration in Romania is limited in terms of the decision-making process, the quality and the effective use of the evaluations of the impact of the regulations. Also, an effective framework for strategic and budgetary planning in the field of public administration has not yet been created. Frequent reorganizations and the excessive use of temporary management instead of contests for the appointment of managers hinder the independence of the administration. Excessive bureaucracy and diminished possibilities for providing high-quality public services negatively influence the life of the citizen and the business environment. All these aspects highlight the need for a genuine reform of the civil service. Drawing conclusions from the research is probably the most important section of the research report. Inference and conclusions, as a product of this process, are based on research findings, which form a factual basis for drawing conclusions. They highlight the specific importance of the work and allow for a certain cognition of science and practice, and are tasked with identifying key research findings and linking them with what was said in the introduction.

The objectives of the study: to research the electoral process; to establish the stages of this complex system; to highlight its essential characteristics; to determine the category of principles of the final stage of the electoral process; to elucidate the essence of the possible principles of aggregating and verifying the results of voting; present and substantiate the content of each of these principles. The research methods used were analysis and synthesis, abstraction and generalization, classification and concretization, affirmation and denial, deduction and induction, etc. The results of the paper: we determined, characterized and demonstrated the following principles of totalization and verification of voting results: the principle of the integrity of the procedure counting of votes; the principle of accurate recording of election results; the principle of the integrity of the procedure for centralizing election results; the principle of parallel counting of votes; the principle of truthfully calculating the results of electronic voting; the principle of correctly announcing election results; the principle of timely publication of official results; the principle of verifying the election results; the principle of confirmation of election results; the conditions for implementing the electoral principles. The basis for this order and classification of the principles of totalization and verification of voting results was the content and sequence of sub-stages of the final stage of the elections. In this order, we have presented and substantiated the content of each of these principles.

Manner/Result Complementarity (Rappaport Hovav & Levin 2010) has been argued to have consequences for argument realization: only manner verbs permit object deletion and non-selected objects. In contrast, result verbs always co-appear with their object, because they are required to express the undergoer of the change that they entail. We discuss new data involving result verbs in constructions where the undergoer of the change encoded by the result verb is not realized as the object of the predicate. We argue these data display result verbs whose root is integrated into the argument structure of the predicate in such a way that it is interpreted as specifying a co-event of the main event denoted by the predicate, whereby the result entailed by the root is not necessarily intended to hold of the direct object. This follows if verb roots do not come with a syntactically relevant specification for manner or result from the lexicon, but acquire it on the basis of their association with the syntactic structure. A numerical method for solving the differential equation of train motion and an algorithm for graphic-analytical calculation of its trajectory movement for railway sections of different complexity, which were implemented on a virtual hilly section of the railway track, are proposed. The numerical values of the speed and travel times of a freight train along the route of the rolling stock are substantiated, taking into account the time for acceleration and deceleration when stopping at the intermediate and final stations of the railway section under study, which were obtained in the form of tabular data. The parameters of the fuel and energy indicators of the transportation work of UzTE16M3 series diesel locomotives in quantitative and monetary terms were obtained when they drove freight trains with a maximum train weight. The research results are recommended and will be useful to specialists of the locomotive complex of railways with a hilly type of track profile.

A program algorithm and a method for producing (performing) traction calculations are proposed, based on geometric constructions of changes in the speed and time of train movement along the track, relying on the specific resultant forces of the train in the travel track of rolling stock. Calculations of the kinematic parameters of the movement of a freight train on a virtual hilly section of the railway were carried out using a graphic-analytical method when moving with stops and without stops at the intermediate and final stations. The values of the energy efficiency indicators of UzTE16M3 diesel locomotives when driving a freight train with a minimum train weight in quantitative and monetary terms are substantiated. The numerical results of the research are obtained in the form of tabular data, which specialists of the locomotive complex can use when analyzing and assessing the efficiency of the transportation work of UzTE16M3 diesel locomotives under real operating conditions.

The results of the calculation of the kinematic parameters of the movement of a freight train by a graphical method on a virtual hilly section of a high-speed railway when moving without stops and with stops at an intermediate and final station are presented. The values of energy efficiency indicators of UzTE16M3 diesel locomotives were obtained in quantitative and monetary terms when driving a freight train of a unified mass of train. The research results are presented in the form of tabular data and will be implemented by specialists of the locomotive complex in substantiating the efficiency of the transportation work of UzTE16M3 diesel locomotives in real operating conditions.

English (Germanic) and Romanian (Romance) are typologically different in the expression of both change-of-location and change-of-state events (cf. Talmy 1985, 2000). English favours Goal of Motion (GM) and resultative constructions, which combine manner verbs with directional PPs and Result Phrases, respectively; Romanian typically opts for inherently directed motion and change-of-state verbs to achieve the same goals. At the same time, the existing typological differences have been shown to impact both the translation strategies rendering change events, and the syntactic structures they produce (Slobin 2004, 2005, 2006; Capelle 2012; Alonso 2018 et al.). The present article examines the strategies used by professional translators to translate resultatives into Romanian, and the resulting syntactic patterns, shown to be dependent on the type of resultative translated (fake/true). It demonstrates that the mostly compensatory techniques generate structures which, overall, reflect Talmy's lexicalization patterns for Romance and support the uniform treatment of GM and resultatives crosslinguistically. It also argues that the higher syntactic/semantic variation of resultatives (vs. GM) is responsible for the higher number of strategies and patterns translating them. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Due to the worldwide negative impact on sport of the COVID-19 pandemic declared by the WHO in 2020, the first aim of this study was to analyze the influence of COVID-19 on performance indicators as a natural experiment, according to the moment in time: pre-COVID, COVID and post-COVID. The second aim was to analyze and ascertain the persistence of the performance indicators (PIs) over the analyzed seasons. To this end, 5320 teams' match data corresponding to the 2014/2015 to 2020/2021 seasons of the LaLiga (first division of Spanish men's soccer) were analyzed. All the seasons developed normally except the 2019/2020 season in which there was a three-month hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, representing a natural experiment without spectators. Statistical tests including ANOVA, general multivariate linear analysis with three independent variables (covidtime, venue and result) and an autocorrelation were performed. The results obtained showed that there were significant differences in the PIs regarding the moment in time, the result, the venue, and the pairwise interactions among them. The evolution of the PIs has changed over the years, showing a decrease in the means of most of them, leading to a more passive game with tighter results; differences which could be generated by the change in the rules (from 3 to 5 substitutions), the total or partial absence of spectators, three months of confinement and inactivity, or the accumulation of matches and minutes played by the individual players. The teams' technical staffs should bear all of these types of situations in mind as the seasons evolve to adapt as quickly as possible to a more effective game style in order to achieve objectives. The position of Ukraine on the world stage is determined by regional development, which increases the saturation and relevance of regional topic in scientific economic research. The acquisition of economic independence by the regions causes the need for reassessment of their position and place in the economic space. One of the instruments for improving the efficiency of regional development is the creation of priority development territories (PDT), which is based on special economic and legal regimes facilitating the intensification of investment activities, the creation of additional jobs, upgrading the standard of living of the population, the profitability of business entities, the completeness of local budgets, etc. The research is directed towards substantiating the theoretical and methodological principles and developing conceptual approaches to the efficiency of PDT development. The theoretical basis constituted the scientific works of domestic and foreign authors. In the process of research, the historical and logical method of general scientific cognition, system approach, analysis, induction, deduction were used. Generalization of different scientific points of view regarding the concepts of «result», «effect», «effectiveness», «efficiency» allowed to conclude that they have significant differences. It was observed that in modern science the issues of delimitation of these categories are debatable. In this regard, the subordination of the result, effect, effectiveness and efficiency is outlined. The author’s vision of the essence of socioeconomic efficiency of the territories of priority development is proposed, which means the state of social and economic conditions, as well as territorial disparities in development before and after the introduction of special economic and legal regimes. The author’s approach allows to expand the scientific vision of the essence and content of efficiency in contemporary realities. The conceptual provisions presented in the article form the basis for further systematization of the indicators of the result and content of effectiveness of improvement of priority development territories, which, in turn, be included in the basis of the methodology for assessing the efficiency of the development of PDT.

The aim of this paper is to examine the impact of the competitive experience of football players and coaches in the Champions League on the results achieved in that competition. The analysis included all the coaches who led their teams in the group stage of this competition (34) and all the players who had at least one appearance (578), in the 2019/2020 season. The experience was assessed on the basis of length of service in the club, the number of appearances in previous seasons in the Champions League competition, namely: in the current and the previous club, in the role of a player who starts the match, comes off the bench or sits on the bench. The experience of the coach was assessed on the basis of career duration, length of service in the club, the number of matches in the competition with the current and previous clubs. The results showed that the playing experience in the Champions League is important for achieving results in this competition. The previous appearances in the starting lineup (p < 0.001) especially with the current club (p < 0.001) are the most valuable. When it comes to coaches, there is no significant difference between the coaches whose teams managed to qualify in the TOP16 and those who did not, in terms of previous competitive experience. However, what is evident is a slightly higher total number of matches in this competition that the coaches of TOP16 teams had with the previous teams. It can be concluded that previous competitive experience is very important, especially for players, and that it correlates with the number of minutes spent in active play. The findings of this research could be applied in the process of selecting football players for the competition.

Discussion is the exchange of arguments and views related to a particular subject of discussion and the making of judgments arising from such confrontation. Such content has its place in the scientific research report and is behind the results, ahead of the conclusions. This section has its own structure, which depends on the authors who propose and practice it. Regardless of which variant of structure you use, researchers should be aware of such structures and follow selected examples when writing their reports. In this regard, higher education students need training to be able to compile this part of the scientific research report more easily and more quickly, especially for those conducting forestry research.
