The connection between Average Daily Rate (ADR) and hotel room standard in both suburban and resort settings during high and low seasons remains an ongoing challenge. The purpose of this study is to craft practical cues for hotel managers to lean towards specific guiding cues for their effective decision-making of room rates. A study conducted on ADRs and guest comments from suburban and resort hotels across the United States from 2018 to 2023 utilized data from Smith Travel Research and TripAdvisor. Employing a vector error correction model and incorporating game theory, the research revealed that room standards are optimized in both types of accommodations when ADRs increase in resorts and decrease in suburban areas during peak seasons. Human resources (HR) play a crucial role in organizations as strategic drivers to face market competition. One important factor affecting performance is work motivation. This reaserch aims to examine the impact of work motivation on employees performance at Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, using purposive sampling with 68 respondents. Data analysis is conducted using Simple Linear Regression. The results show that work motivation significantly and positively affects employee performance at Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort. The analysis indicates that work motivation accounts for 65% of the impact on employee performance, with the remaining 35% influenced by factors not covered in this study. Thus, increased employee motivation correlates with improved performance. New Panjang Jiwo Resort, located in Bogor Regency, is a popular tourist destination for both domestic and foreign tourists. Despite various marketing activities, the resort has faced negative reviews and fluctuating visitor numbers. To maintain its sustainability, the resort needs to employ a right marketing strategy and good service quality to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. This research aims to identify customer characteristics of New Panjang Jiwo Resort, analyze the effect of the marketing mix and service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The sample consisted of 155 respondents aged 26-35 years, with 60% being women. The average domicile of visitors at the resort is from Jabodetabek and works as a private employee with a lower middle income income category. The results showed that the overall variables of the marketing mix, service quality, customer satisfaction, and consumer loyalty at New Panjang Jiwo Resort are included in the high category. The marketing mix variable had the highest average value compared to other variables. SEM-PLS analysis showed that the marketing mix and service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on loyalty. The managerial implications of this research include building road directions at every crossroads along the main road to the resort, regular maintenance of room air conditioning, and conducting training to improve the quality of work provided by employees. In recent years, due to the development of domestic tourism in East Kazakhstan, there has been a great interest in wellness services based on the use of antler raw materials. The creation of special economic zones of tourist and recreational type on the territory of East Kazakhstan gives impetus to the development of maral breeding. The active development of tourism significantly expands the use of therapeutic and health technologies based on products of antler reindeer husbandry. The article notes that one of the most important prerequisites for the transformation of the East Kazakhstan region into a sanatorium-resort area is the development of treatment centers with maral antlers. On its basis, the analysis of the recreational resources of the region is carried out and the current state is considered. The main purpose of the study is to bring the health tourism of East Kazakhstan to the world level by treating maral antlers. The study tells about the main role of marals in the development of medical tourism in East Kazakhstan and its huge benefits for human health. It is determined in which territory of the region they predominate and is evaluated on the example of the Altai Territory as an object of research. The current state of the maral processing centers on the territory of the research object is covered in detail, the main causes of the problems that have arisen are identified, recommendations and solutions are given. The concept of ecology-based tourism or ecotourism is the main attraction for tourists. This study was conducted to determine the attributes of superior ecotourism at resorts based on consumer preferences using the UGC (User Generated Content) approach. This study was use a non-probability sampling approach and the data analysis technique was the Jaccard Score, Z-Score and PCA rankings. The results show that ecotourism attributes that are consumer preferences based on UGC include natural beauty, accessibility, atmosphere, food and beverages, and service. In addition, the ranking of superior ecotourism attributes based on consumer preferences with a jaccard score coefficient from each resort, has a different rating. This rating also applies to the results of the binomial z-score test analysis which shows the level of consumer satisfaction with these attributes. Based on the PCA analysis, it was found that the resort hotel that has the potential to compete is between Legian and Oberoi. Resorts that have competitive potential are able to improve performance based on two main components formed from the PCA analysis, namely basic and advanced offers. The greater value of this coefficient means that the attribute has a large effect on improving performance and has an effect on resort decision making.

Despite the uncertainties brought by the pandemic to the hospitality and tourism industry, customer relationship management strategies aided the business sustainability of the resort businesses. In line with the existing new normal, this study recommended that resort firms should employ innovative strategies that are sensitive to customer trends.

The article deals with the functioning of modern resorts as multifunctional recreation and tourism centers. Today, maintaining a healthy lifestyle has become a trend all over the world. As a result, traditional resort establishments are being modernized and provide the latest innovative wellness and spa services. Ukraine has a rich recreational potential to support existing and develop new resorts that can offer a variety of wellness treatments and leisure activities for various market segments.

Tourism makes an important contribution to culture and the historic heritage by providing means for keeping the traditions alive and financing its protection as well as increasing visitor appreciation. Cultural tourism helps preserve the cultural and historic heritage. Therapeutic tourism doesn’t just depend on mineral water baths and natural therapeutic sites, it also depends on hospital and healthcare development in the country providing a modern medical care service. At Buziaş the emphasis falls on the unique procedures with natural therapeutic factors. The healing qualities of carbonated water, mofettes and sedative bioclimate are well-known and highlighted by the studies and researches carried out until now, as well as by the high number of patients with significant improvement in symptomoatology. Moreover, Buziaş has also a rich cultural heritage, including historical monuments which, once restored, will be able to compete other famous international destinations. That's why an urgent managerial strategy is necessary to be elaborated in order that Buziaş be able to regain its prestige and attract a large number of visitors, eager to contemplate the natural and cultural beauties of this resort.

The article focuses on the charitable activities of the Armenian businessmen in the resort town of Pyatigorsk in the end of XVIII - beginning of XX centuries. The authors note that the entrepreneurs of Armenian origin pursued their own interests as well as contributed to the prosperity of their native city. Decades later, their charitable activities may serve an example to follow.

Objective: To study the eff ectiveness of medical and preventive schemes of spa rehabilitation of children with biliary tract diseases living in ecologically unfavorable areas of the Krasnodar region.Materials and Methods: The study was conducted among children aged 7 to 14 years old burdened with gallbladder pathology (dysfunctional disorders of the biliary tract (DRBT)). In 2017-2020, the eff ectiveness of the therapeutic-resort stage of rehabilitation was studied in 127 children. The children permanently resided in Krasnodar and were admitted to the therapeutic spa-resort center of mother and child “Diluch” in the resort city of Anapa. The authors selected 93 (73.2%) children with hypofunctional gallbladder disorder (GI) and 34 (26.8%) children with hyperfunctional GI disorder for spa treatment. The control group included children with the 1st group of health. The eff ectiveness of the applied methods of rehabilitation was evaluated based on laboratory and instrumental studies, as well as periodic dynamic medical examinations, which included the collection of complaints, physical examination, and palpation of the abdominal cavity.Results: Therapeutic spa-rehabilitation of children with DRBT included balneotherapy, physiotherapy, and aerophytotherapy without the use of pharmacological drugs. At the same time, there was an improvement in the condition of both children with DRBT of the hypertensive type (94.1%) and among the subjects with DRBT of the hypotonic type (90.1). There were no cases of the condition worsening in the observed children with DRBT that permanently resided in unfavorable conditions of the Krasnodar Region.Conclusions: Based on the obtained results, it can be suggested that diff erentiated comprehensive rehabilitation in the conditions of the balneological complex of the resort city of Anapa performed aft er the main treatment of gastrointestinal pathology is feasible for children and adolescents experiencing adverse environmental impacts at a permanent place of residence in the Krasnodar region.

In the article it has been considered the issues of opportunities for the development of domestic tourism in the eastern territories of Ukraine, which have experienced problems due to the conflict and restrictions on international and domestic mobility due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been established that in the East of Ukraine there are been favorable conditions for the development of domestic rural tourism. It has been proposed to start the development of resort and recreational potential of the eastern territories, namely the creation of a resort town in Starobilsk, Luhansk region, which will specialize in providing medical rehabilitation services for adults, children, disabled people with musculoskeletal diseases, neurological, gynecological diseases, consequences of polytraumas. It has been noted about the need to develop a strategic program for the development of domestic tourism in the eastern territories. It has been established that taking into account the human development index is a necessary condition for the study of post-conflict development of territories. It has been stayted the most promising for the rapid development of the eastern territories is "green tourism". It has been proved that the main driving force of tourism development in post-conflict conditions and restrictions on mobility is to follow the rules of quarantine and search for alternative types of tourism, which are proposed in this paper. The proposals identified in this paper will be useful to many countries whose tourism industry has suffered heavy losses as a result of a pandemic or a complex conflict situation.

Vietnam has many of the most luxurious hotels and resorts where visitors can have fun and enjoy many activities. The designs of these places are excellent and the services available to visitors are quite extensive, but there is still a problem that needs to be mentioned. The aim of the research paper is to focus on one of the famous destination in the country, analyze the strengths as well as limitations in orther to mention suitable suggestions. The article uses qualitative and quantitative research methods, compares research documents and documents of the Ministry of Tourism of Vietnam. The results show that the tourism sector in general and the accommodation sector still have many shortcomings and need to be improved. The Kurdistan Region of Iraq, like other countries, has a fast-developing tourism sector, with numerous tourism foundations attracting visitors from all over the world. It has tremendous tourist potential, with a diverse range of spectacular sights ranging from breath taking mountain scenery to ancient settlements and archaeological sites. As such, the study examines tourist attitudes and perceptions of rural tourism in the Kurdistan Regional Government's Dukan district, Sulaimani Governorate, located in the northern part of the Republic of Iraq. To fulfil the research's purpose, a questionnaire-based survey was performed via both the distribution of paper questionnaires and the usage of an online Google form. In 2021, 542 questionnaires were applied. Descriptive statistics and principal component analysis were used to examine the collected data. According to the results of this study, the majority of tourists travelled to the Dukan district 1-3 times annually. tourists saw the geographical area and nature of the Dukan district as the most essential reason for their visit to the Dukan district. The topicality. Taking into account the natural, economic, scientific and technical potentials available in the Carpathian region, the strategic goal of perspective development of the territory is to create an effective territorial-recreational system on the basis of optimal use of these resources, which will ensure the material well-being of the population and environmental safety of the area. It is important to expand the potential of TC “Bukovel” for international competitions of the highest level. The purpose of the study is a theoretical justification for the design and zoning of the resort area on the example of the resort “Rafaylova” within the lands of Bystrytsya village council of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Research methodology. The study tested an algorithm for the integrated use of a number of methods and techniques: general geographic, cartographic, space photography, zoning of environmental and urban systems, and others. Results. Zoning of theterritory ofBystrytsia village council by functional purpose was carried out. The zone of stationary recreation –4925.1 hectares is allocated; regulated recreation area –9046.3 ha (including818.6 ha – NPF facilities); ski area –5001.4 hectares; nature reserve fund –2439.7 ha (another818.6 ha of NPF objects – as a part of the zone of regulated recreation); lands of settlements –795.4 hectares; the area of resort management –5,5 hectares. The administrative part of the resort “Rafaylova” (total area 55 150.2 m2) is divided into the following operational and tactical areas: administrative building is 661.2 m2; parking is 985 m2; sports ground is 4624.6 m2; garage is 4289.1 m2; garden (rock garden) is 796 m2; pump room is 38.7 m2; garden (arboretum) is 40,816.6 m2; household waste collection site is 12.2 m2. Conclusions. Functional zoning of the territory of Bystrytsia village council has been carried out. The resort area of “Rafaylov” will include: 221 tourist hotel and hotel complex; 2143 chalets, 368 locked cottages, 103 restaurants, 31 shops, 23 rental outlets, 10 medical facilities, 6 banking institutions, 1 service station, 3 multi-level parking lots, 45 parking lots, etc.

The article presents the history of the formation and development of the resort «Belokurikha» and its current state with the emphasis on evaluation of the features of the architectonics of the place. The article describes the trends of territorial planning associated with the further development of the resort, which has high quality mountain recreational landscapes, attractive properties of natural landscapes, polystyle architecture and the identical cultural code inherent in this place.

A cada dia surgem novas tecnologias e dispositivos para acessar internet e estes novos equipamentos possuem telas de diferentes tamanhos e recursos cada vez mais inteligentes, entre eles, smartphones, tables, smart TV, desktop, notebook. O tema site responsivo surge como uma necessidade cada vez maior neste cenário, onde clientes cada vez mais conectados acessam a internet utilizando dispositivos com diferentes configurações. Partindo deste princípio, observa-se a importância da utilização desta tecnologia no site dos meios de hospedagem podendo fazer toda a diferença na decisão da compra. O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar os sites utilizados pelos resorts no Brasil são responsivos, utilizando o cadastro da ABR (Associação Brasileira de Resorts) com 48 resorts. A metodologia utilizada foi a aplicação de teste dos sites utilizando a ferramenta “Mobile-Friendly Test” disponibilizada pela empresa Google, com posterior tabulação e realização de gráficos, para melhor visualização, com o uso do software Excel. Identificou-se que no total de 48 resort pesquisado constatou-se que 7 não possuem sites responsivos. O presente artigo vem a complementar o estudo de sites responsivos na hotelaria.

This marketing business plan serves as a guide to provide guidelines for the implementation of promotional activities for the Stelia Beach Resort in the hope of achieving its forecasted business goals in the future. 2021 with the work categories described in detail in this business plan. Socio-cultural ecosystem resources and services have impacted ecotourism. Although many companies spare no effort to act upon sustainable and responsible initiatives, concerns in the literature have grown in light of inconsistent findings with regard to tourist reactions. By examining China’s first ecotourism resort, the Crosswaters Ecolodge & SPA, this study attempts to address and assess how green attributes are projected by management and perceived by customers. A multi-method qualitative study was adopted, and the findings identify four green attributes: aesthetic values, functional values, experiential appeal, and psychological appeal. Interrelationships are also identified among these attributes, and gaps exist in terms of management projections and customer perceptions. Theoretical and managerial implications are accordingly provided to assist in the creation of pro-environmental marketing strategies.

Tourism is one of the world’s largest and most global industries and is a major factor in the cultural and economic sustainability of local communities. The hundred-year history of tourism among the Miccosukee of South Florida provides an example of purposeful self-generated heritage and eco-tourism in which indigenous people maintain control of the enterprise’s management and profits through their own strategic decisions. This small group of Native Americans began organized tourism in the early 1900s on the Miami River. By the 1930s, their villages in the Everglades west of Miami were Native owned and operated tourist destinations. In the 1980s, promotional efforts of Lee Tiger at international tourism exhibitions began a flow of international travelers from Europe, and by the 1990s this tourism and international marketing expertise benefited many other tribes. By the 2000s, exhibitions and Internet web pages promoted Native America at the global level. During this period, the Miccosukee transitioned from Everglades’ hunters and traders to casino resort managers, from families striving for everyday survival to CEOs of a diverse array of economic enterprises.Most histories portray indigenous peoples as responding, accommodating, and assimilating to non-Indians and the US government. Using a life-history approach, this article highlights the successful entrepreneurial skills of the Miccosukee from the perspective of Lee Tiger using ethnohistorical methods to triangulate interviews, participant-observation, archival documents, and existing publications. This story reveals the agency, empowerment, and voice that are part of self generated tourism, cultural education, and the marketing of indigenous culture. Overall, this article adds to our knowledge of indigenous-led proactive endeavors, providing a model for indigenous communities throughout the world that strive to sustain their community’s economic, cultural, and environmental integrity. It also highlights critical issues about tourism, the commodification of tribal culture, and forms of indigenous capitalism.

Băile Olănești Resort, located in the Olănești Depression in the Eastern part of the Getic Subcarpathians, is one of the most important spa resorts in Romania. The construction and development of Băile Olănești has been favored by the natural and anthropogenic potential of a geographical unit located in the depression area at the foot of the Căpățânii Mountains. The rich and varied hydromineral potential contributed to the early development of the spa tourism in this resort, where other types of tourism (religious) appeared, which contributed to a highly favored touristic movement and the position and favorable access from large urban areas located at relatively small distances R. Vâlcea, Pitești, Sibiu and Bucharest). Although in recent decades the resort has modernized, attracting a significant number of tourists, it is worth noting the need for a more extensive and efficient promotion of the existing benefits and the promotion of an environmental protection strategy.

Medical rehabilitation (MR) has become one of the important tasks of treatment in patients with arterial hypertension (AH). The aim - assessment of the effectiveness of spa resort MR in patients with AH under spa resort treatment (SRT) in view of the provisions of the "International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health" (ICF).Materials and methods. The study included 103 AH patients treated with SRT at Yalta resort. Selection of patients for the study was carried out with informed consent of patients and duration of treatment of at least 18 days. Methods of investigation and treatment were applied in accordance with the features of the functional state of the patient, the individual indications and the standards of SRT at AH. Psychological research and evaluation of quality of life (by the tests of Reeder, Beck, Spielberger-Hanin, SF-36) were additionally conducted. Anitha Nair's Mistress is a novel written in the background of Kerala's prestigious traditional art form Kathakali. The story revolves around the life of a Kathakali artist Koman and his kith and kin. But beyond the surface level of the narrative which deals with the personal life of Koman, the characterizations have the structural and thematic influence of various characters present in Kathakali, particularly characters from Mahabharatha which Kathakali has largely indebted to. This paper tries to identify the various layers of influences the Mahabharatha charatcters have upon the characters in this novel, especially Shyam and Radha. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as estratégias de marketing aplicadas ao time-sharing e à fidelização dos clientes de um resort cearense. A pesquisa teve como objetivos específicos: averiguar o perfil do público-alvo e a segmentação de mercado utilizada pelo resort em questão para potencializar as vendas do tempo compartilhado; identificar as principais ferramentas consideradas no processo de comercialização do time-sharing; investigar os impactos da venda do tempo compartilhado nos períodos de baixa estação para o meio de hospedagem e sociedade. Tratou-se de um estudo de caso, de caráter exploratório, com uma abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados através de uma entrevista estruturada realizada com um funcionário do resort, com vasta experiência profissional no ramo de marketing e time-sharing aplicados à hotelaria. A análise dos dados foi realizada através da transcrição das falas do entrevistado. O estudo aponta que o time-sharing contribui para a ocupação dos apartamentos do empreendimento hoteleiro nos períodos de baixa estação; o perfil do cliente de time-sharing é caracterizado por pessoas casadas, com renda elevada e cultura de viagem, e a segmentação de mercado utilizada é a psicográfica; preço e promoção são as ferramentas consideradas no processo de comercialização do produto; para fidelizar o cliente a empresa oferece como diferenciais, o atendimento de qualidade para o hóspede, o cartão fidelidade com vários benefícios e descontos nos mais variados serviços; a venda do time-sharing traz benefícios para a comunidade local, através da geração de renda e empregos formais e informais.

The natural condition of Matano lake is heavily scenic includes the land, water, air, energy, and reasonably required to preserve. Exploration in the resort design with green building and design with nature concept is one of preservation effort to maximize the natural potency of the area based on the aspect of environment, socio-economics, and sociocultural. The method in the design process involve a green building and design with nature principles implementation in the site plan, structural design, natural energy to maintain the building thermal and natural lighting, and reuse rainwater management to optimize the resort function, green materials and prevent the residual material. The result explained the lakeside resort based on green building and design with nature principles increase the aesthetic potential view and environmental sustainability of Matano lake.

The purpose of the article is to attract the attention of specialists in the resort business in the document being developed - the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation «On Approval of the Regulations on the Districts of Sanitary (Mining and Sanitary) Protection of Natural Medicinal Resources», the draft of which is proposed for discussion. The article presents all the comments on the discussed draft Regulation and proposals for making appropriate changes with their reasoned justification. The proposals put forward to change the wording of specific paragraphs of the Regulation are aimed at protecting and preserving the wealth of our country - natural healing factors that form the basis of sanatorium treatment. The proposals made to edit the paragraphs of the Regulation will undoubtedly guarantee the preservation of Russia's natural healing resources in order to use them for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the population of our country and the successful development of the resort industry.
