Hyperspectral sensors are passive instruments that record reflected electromagnetic radiation in tens or hundreds of narrow and consecutive spectral bands. In the last two decades, the availability of hyperspectral data has sharply increased, propelling the development of a plethora of hyperspectral classification and target detection algorithms. Anomaly detection methods in hyperspectral images refer to a class of target detection methods that do not require any a-priori knowledge about a hyperspectral scene or target spectrum. They are unsupervised learning techniques that automatically discover rare features on hyperspectral images. This review paper is organized into two parts: part A provides a bibliographic analysis of hyperspectral image processing for anomaly detection in remote sensing applications. Development of the subject field is discussed, and key authors and journals are highlighted. In part B an overview of the topic is presented, starting from the mathematical framework for anomaly detection. The anomaly detection methods were generally categorized as techniques that implement structured or unstructured background models and then organized into appropriate sub-categories. Specific anomaly detection methods are presented with corresponding detection statistics, and their properties are discussed. This paper represents the first review regarding hyperspectral image processing for anomaly detection in remote sensing applications.

Deep learning (DL) approaches use various processing layers to learn hierarchical representations of data. Recently, many methods and designs of natural language processing (NLP) models have shown significant development, especially in text mining and analysis. For learning vector-space representations of text, there are famous models like Word2vec, GloVe, and fastText. In fact, NLP took a big step forward when BERT and recently GTP-3 came out. In this paper, we highlight the most important language representation learning models in NLP and provide an insight of their evolution. We also summarize, compare and contrast these different models on sentiment analysis, and thus discuss their main strengths and limitations. Our obtained results show that BERT is the best language representation learning model.

Rad analizira medijsku reprezentaciju kulturnih sadržaja u Hrvatskoj u doba tranzicije s posebnim naglaskom na selektivnost i ideološku obojenost, te tržišnu uvjetovanost tih sadržaja u masovnim tiskanim medijima. Rad utvrđuje da proces preoblikovanja medijskih sadržaja prolazi kroz tri faze, te da svaka faza donosi nove modele, mehanizme i načela u prezentiranju kulture na stranicama tiska. Ti novi modeli kreću se od modela političke manipulacije kulturnim sadržajima i sotonizacije pojedinca preko strategije skandala do medijske inscenacije i teatralizacije zbilje što utječe na (ne)vjerodostojnost informacija i kreiranje javnog mnijenja., The paper analyzes the media representation of cultural content in Croatia during the transition period, with particular emphasis on selectivity and ideological coloration, as well as the market condition of these contents in mass media. The paper establishes that the process of transformation of media content passes through three phases, and that each phase introduces new models, mechanisms and principles in presentation of culture on the press pages. These new models range from the model of political manipulation to cultural content and the individual’s satanization through the scandal’s strategy to media staging and theatricalization of the reality affecting the (non) credibility of information and the creation of public opinion.

Conventional manufacturing process planning approaches are inefficient to handle the process planning complexity induced by product variety and manufacturing dynamics. Reconfigurable process planning (RPP) is an emerging CAPP approach targeting to the generation of process plans for a product/part family. This thesis aims to give major contributions to the representation models and generation methods to support reconfigurable process planning at two granularity levels: product family and part family. The proposed approaches for RPP are compatible with an extended concept of product/part family which is defined by using the concept of “domain”. A feature-based product/part variety model is developed to represent the required information for RPP by using modular and platform-based techniques. Mathematical models and graph-based representation models are proposed to describe the reconfigurable process plan at two granularity levels. Based on the representation models, the generation methods and algorithms are then developed for RPP. In addition, a global framework is proposed to describe how the proposed RPP models and methods work together to handle the product/part variety and manufacturing dynamics. To test the feasibility of the proposed models and methods, a gear pump family and an oil pump body family are used as illustrative examples throughout this thesis.; Les approches conventionnelles pour la génération de processus de fabrication sont inefficaces pour gérer la complexité induite par la variété des produits et la dynamique de fabrication. La génération des processus de fabrication reconfigurables (RPP) est une nouvelle méthode de CAPP qui vise à générer des processus de fabrication pour une famille de produits / pièces. Cette thèse vise à apporter une contribution majeure aux modèles de représentation et aux méthodes de génération permettant la génération des processus de fabrication reconfigurables à deux niveaux de granularité : famille de produits et famille de pièces. Les approches proposées pour le RPP sont compatibles avec une extension du concept de famille de produits / pièces qui est défini en utilisant le concept de domaine. Un modèle pour une variété fonctionnelle de produit / pièce basé sur des entités est développé afin de représenter les informations nécessaires à la gestion des processus reconfigurables en utilisant des techniques modulaires. Des modèles mathématiques et des modèles de représentation sont proposés pour décrire le processus de fabrication reconfigurable à deux niveaux de granularité. Sur la base des modèles de représentation, les méthodes de génération et les algorithmes sont ensuite détaillés dans ce cadre. En outre, un cadre global est proposé pour décrire comment les modèles et les méthodes proposés collaborent pour gérer la variété de produit / pièce et la dynamique de fabrication. Pour illustrer la faisabilité des modèles et méthodes proposés, deux familles de pompes (l’une à engrenage et l’autre à huile) sont utilisées à titre d'exemples illustratifs tout au long de ce mémoire de thèse.

Sistemas computacionais têm tido aplicação crescente na construção de sistemas para o setor agrícola; contudo, o trabalho de projeto desse tipo de sistemas tem-se tornado mais complexo devido à necessidade de se estabelecer cooperação entre componentes que não possuem uma interface comum e/ou construídos com tecnologias diferentes (heterogêneos); deste modo, os componentes são, geralmente, validados em separado e a observação do funcionamento do sistema completo ocorre somente nos testes com o uso de protótipos, retardando a identificação de problemas e gerando custos em tempo e recursos. O uso da simulação pode contribuir com a antecipação de experiências que permitam observar o comportamento da cooperação entre os componentes do sistema, com o objetivo de reduzir o tempo e o custo geral do projeto. Através de um sistema eletrônico de supervisão de plantio (SEP) como estudo de caso, o artigo apresenta o uso do DCB (Distributed Cosimulation Backbone) como ferramenta de modelagem e simulação de sistemas voltados para a agricultura de precisão para reduzir tempo e custos de projeto.Computing systems have been employed for agricultural purposes, mainly in the precision farming domain. However, their implementation is complex because the cooperation among system components formed by agricultural equipment and computing parts do not have a common interface and the components are developed over distinct technologies (heterogeneous components). Also, the components are individually validated and the cooperation among them can be observed only in experiments using prototypes, delaying the identification of errors and increasing general costs. Simulation techniques are used to observe the work of all systems using models. This paper discusses a heterogeneous simulation to improve the implementation process of precision agricultural systems that bind heterogeneous components. This article presents a solution based on DCB (Distributed Cosimulation Backbone) architecture of heterogeneous models simulation. A SEP (Electronic Plantation Supervisor) system is presented as a study case.

Special attention has been given to documentation and support activities in Software Engineering design, mainly when they are related to complex systems and distributed teams. Usually, information related to the final decisions of each phase is registered. However, the reasons of each decision and the alternatives that were considered and discarded are not documented. Capture and recovery of this type of information, in an efficient way, are the purposes of the Design Rationale study. Recording this information can facilitate maintenance, reuse and even the design phase, providing a better understanding of the system, by knowledge spread, communication and integration among the project team. The main concern is when and how to capture this information with low interference in designers’ usual activities, so that benefits can overcome the costs involved in this task. The purpose of the present work is to show, with plausible reasons, the great usefulness of the application of the Design Rationale technique in ERP systems design, proposing a new representation model for recording design decisions in these systems.

The dissertation focus on information and knowledge representation, investigate the match and differential points between documentary languages, available in Information Science and markup languages, developed and used in Computer Science, with the objective of identify actions, theories and necessary processes for a bigger integration between the two areas. For this, it is established a revision of the necessary basic elements to the representation of the information and knowledge in the scope of the Information Science. To become possible the comparison between areas, consecrated knowledge and information representation models available in Information Science are presented, such as metadates, thesaurus and ontologies. In the scope of the Internet, the techniques of representation with the use of markup languages more used are presented and its contributions for the development of the Web Semantics. It is locked in presenting a proposal of structure of representation for information resources, especially developed for the Internet. The proposal was developed from the existing resources in the Computer Science, particularly, its available in language XML. It contemplates the definition of a ontology and culminates with the creation of a structure in XML to store metadates of electronic articles.
