Using blockchain technologies for Bandwidth Sharing This project aims to be a theoretical design together with its respective study and analysis of a new blockchain paradigm. The research leads to a new model better than the traditional blockchain that solves the lack of scalability issue that nowadays exist. The design entails an energy-free consensus mechanism, an improvement in the prevention of double-spending attacks and the fairness between network peers. The core of this new architecture is made up of an account based Merkle tree system in which consensus is achieved without the necessity of mining. Instead, nodes build blocks directly only if they have stored or get the necessary information to do so. Therefore, as the project consists of an innovative theoretical model, it won't be validated until it is implemented and used at a practical level for personal or commercial purposes successfully.
