V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen proizvodni obrat, v katerem se soočajo z neustrezno razmeščenimi delovnimi mesti, kar povzroča dodatne stroške in daljše izdelovalne čase. V teoretičnem delu so opisane osnove planiranja razmeščanja delovnih mest, analiza materialnega toka, predstavljeni pa so tudi različni tipi proizvodnje in notranjega transporta. S pomočjo simulacijskega programa FlexSim smo izdelali model proizvodnje, kjer smo preverili trenutno stanje njenega delovanja. Ustvarili smo še dva alternativna modela z različnima razmestitvama, in jih med seboj primerjali glede na celotno prepotovano pot delavcev in transportnih sredstev. S pomočjo dobljenih rezultatov smo podali predlog za optimalno razmestitev delovnih mest. Analizirali smo zasedenost strojev ali delovnih mest in izkoriščenost delavcev ter določili njihovo število za suboptimalen potek dela znotraj izdelovalnega procesa. In the thesis we are presented with a manufacturing plant, which has an unoptimized layout. This causes additional costs and longer production times. Information regarding layout planning, material flow optimization, production types and internal transportation is presented in the theoretical section of the thesis. With the help of simulation software FlexSim a model of the production system was built, and its performance was tested. Two additional alternative models were created and compared to the existing system regarding total distance travelled by workers and transporters. With the knowledge of the gathered data, a new optimal layout was proposed. The occupancy rate of machines and workstations was analyzed, alongside the utilization of workers. The number of operators was determined for a suboptimal workflow in the production.
