This study aimed to demonstrate the usefulness of neutrosophic logic in establishing the relationship between student competencies and certain personality traits in Law students at the National University of Chimborazo. The study was conducted with a sample of 20 senior students. The Analytic Hierarchy Process method was used for analysis, facilitating the decision-making process. This method allowed for the selection of the most relevant competencies for distance learning and the personality traits of interest to the researchers. The results showed that, on average, there is indeterminacy in some pairs of personality traits in students with medium or low performance. Those students who, on average, exhibited high levels in the evaluated competencies, tended more towards certain personality traits compared to the antitrait or indeterminacy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The objective of this study was focused on demonstrating the usefulness of using neutrosophic logic to determine and compare different personality traits in a sample of lawyers from the city of Santo Domingo. For this, a sample of 10 lawyers was taken, 5 of them specialized in the field of criminal defense, and 5 specialized in family defense. Neutrosophic correlation was used to select the most important personality traits to be analysed during the study. The results obtained allowed us to focus the analysis on 3 pairs of traits-anti-traits on which the sample was analysed. The study made it possible to determine that the sampled criminal lawyers turned out to be more extroverted and less sensitive than the family lawyers. The latter presented a lower average level of insensitivity than the criminal lawyers, and less rigidity. Introduction. Young people are highly susceptible to manifesting the various dimensions of anxiety, which have been associated with certain personality traits. Objective. To determine the association between personality traits (PT) and the dimensions of clinical anxiety (CA), trait anxiety (TA), and state anxiety (SA) in young students in the areas of health sciences in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Method. Five hundred and twenty-one students (with an average age of 20.5 years) enrolled in psychology, nursing, and nutrition degree programs participated, 75.2% of whom were women. From Abril 2020 to May 2021, a cross-sectional design was used to virtually evaluate CA (Beck's inventory), TA and SA (the Spielberger inventory), and PT (Eysenck's inventory). Linear regression analysis was used to calculate correlations (R) and determination coefficients (R²) to predict the dimensions of anxiety in relation to PT. Results. 25.7% and 24.8% of participants scored for severe and moderate CA respectively, while 54.3% obtained high scores for TA and SA. For CA, the neuroticism PT yielded an R of .607 and an R² of .367; for TA, an R of .803 and an R² of .644; and for SA, an R of .735 and an R² of .540. Discussion and conclusion. The high correlation between the neuroticism PT and anxiety in young people was probably exacerbated by the restrictive conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. El consumo de sustancias perjudiciales es un problema para las familias y sociedad en general, ya que esta adicción es la causante de problemas que desembocan en disfunciones familiares, con las respectivas consecuencias como: violencia, pérdida de años escolares, suicidios, accidentes de tránsito y un correcto desarrollo de la personalidad de los adolescentes. En esta investigación se identificó la incidencia de la drogodependencia en el desarrollo de la personalidad de los pacientes jóvenes de la “Comunidad Terapéutica Amor al Prójimo”, relacionando las consecuencias del consumo de drogas en el desarrollo de la personalidad en los adolescentes. El presente trabajo investigativo es de tipo cuali-cuantitativo transversal: cuantitativo porque se obtuvo datos de cantidad mediante la aplicación de encuesta hacia los pacientes, familiares y profesionales investigados y cualitativos debido a que se compara la importancia de la participación familiar en el proceso de rehabilitación de la salud mental de los pacientes. La mayor parte de encuestados corroboraron que el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas limita el fortalecimiento de las relaciones con sus familiares, disminuyendo su razonamiento lógico al estar bajo los efectos de este tipo de sustancias, perdiendo el control y el acto de voluntad.

The psychometric properties of a psychological test instrument seek to ensure that it is used in a scientifically secure way. This study aimed to gather empirical evidence on the psychometric properties, reliability estimates, and validity evidence, for the Zulliger test in the Comprehensive System (ZCS) used in adult investigations. This research followed the PRISMA guidelines and was based on articles published between the years 2009 to December 2022. The search was performed in the SciELO, PePSIC, IndexPsi Articles, Lilacs, PsycNET, and Redalyc DOAJ databases. The searches produced 24 publications. The analyzed studies show that the ZSC has psychometric properties that support the evaluation of psychic and personality dynamics in adults, however, they suggest the improvement in the ZSC using instructions with optimized responses. The review presents an overview of the historical and current situation of the ZCS test and demonstrates advances and limitations in research with the instrument. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this study is to analyze tourist motivations and the choice of the slow tourism modality based on personality traits, age, gender, income level and the effects that the pandemic. 192 people with previous tourist experiences with an age range between 23 and 65 years (X = 44.49; SD = 13.24) participated. Differences have been found in the motivations to travel, so that at a lower age and income level, hedonistic motivation predominates. Among the many forms of psychological violence, gaslighting is a particularly insidious manipulative behaviour that includes acts aimed at controlling and altering one’s own partner’s sensations, thoughts, actions, affective state, self-perception, and reality-testing. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the association between the experience of gaslighting and dysfunctional aspects of the partner’s personality. Gaslighter personality facets were assessed using the Personality Inventory for DSM-5–Informant Form–Adult (PID-5-IRF), while gaslighting behaviours were assessed using a 25-item questionnaire, based on the three categories of glamour, good-guy, and intimidator (Stern, 2007). The sample was made up of a group of 177 Italian emerging adults aged between 19 and 26 (49.2% male, 50.8% female; M = 21.88, SD = 1.75), enrolled at University, who participated voluntarily in the research. In fact, none of them received any form of direct or indirect incentive. In our study, we applied a beta regression model mapping the Likert scale into the open interval (0,1). The main results show (a) good-guy gaslighting is positively associated with manipulativeness and negatively associated with deceitfulness; (b) glamour gaslighting has a negative association with separation insecurity and manipulativeness, but it is positively associated with irresponsibility; (c) intimidator gaslighting has a positive association with separation insecurity and distractibility and a negative association with eccentricity and perceptual dysregulation; (d) all three gaslighting categories are negatively associated with anhedonia and impulsivity. Based on what emerged from the data, aspects such as separation insecurity, irresponsibility, and distractibility can be seen as serious risk factors for gaslighting. For this reason, with regard to clinical implications, an early recognition of dysfunctional traits in potential abusers should be fostered in order to protect both potential abusers and their partner from aggressive conduct within an intimate relationship. Background: Personality is a fundamental psychological construct for explaining and predicting human behavior. Recent research has focused on the relationship between personality and emotional regulation, revealing that personality traits may influence the way individuals regulate their emotions. Objective: to assess the influence of personality traits from the Big Five Factor Model on cognitive strategies of emotional regulation in college students. Method: 283 students participated, aged 18 to 58 years, who were administered the Adjectives to Evaluate Personality (AEP) list and the Cognitive Strategies of Emotional Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ). Results: Personality traits most strongly explained the use of maladaptive strategies of emotional regulation, and to a lesser extent, of adaptive strategies. Neuroticism was the main predictor for maladaptive strategies, followed by Agreeableness, while for adaptive strategies, Agreeableness was the strongest predictor, followed by Openness to experience. Background/Objective: The Dark Future Scale (DFS) is a selfreport instrument which assesses the tendency to think about the future with anxiety, fear, and uncertainty. Although it has been applied in different populations, instrumental studies are scarce, and there is no validated Spanish version. The aim was therefore to develop a Spanish version of the scale (DFS-S) and to analyze its psychometric properties in a sample of young adults. Method: Participants were 1,019 individuals aged from 18 to 24 years. They completed the DFS-S and the IPIP-BFM-20. Validity evidence based on the internal structure, including measurement invariance across gender, as well as on relationships with personality traits was obtained. Reliability and gender differences in DFS-S scores were also examined. Results: Results supported a single-factor structure, χ2(5) = 10.79, CFI = .999, RMSEA = .034, SRMR = .016, that was invariant across gender. Reliability of test scores was satisfactory (ω = .92). In the correlation analysis, future anxiety showed a strong positive correlation with neuroticism (.42) and a moderate negative correlation with extraversion (-.25). Females scored higher than males on future anxiety. Conclusions: The DFS-S has satisfactory psychometric properties and it is an adequate tool for measuring future anxiety among young adults. Antecedentes: la personalidad es un constructo psicológico fundamental para explicar y predecir el comportamiento humano. Investigaciones recientes se han focalizado en la relación entre la personalidad y la regulación emocional, revelando que los rasgos de personalidad pueden influir en la forma en que los individuos regulan sus emociones. Objetivo: evaluar la influencia de los rasgos de personalidad del modelo de los cinco grandes factores sobre las estrategias cognitivas de regulación emocional en estudiantes universitarios. Método: participaron 283 estudiantes, entre 18 y 58 años, a quienes se les administró el listado de adjetivos para evaluar la personalidad (AEP) y el cuestionario de estrategias cognitivas de regulación emocional (CERQ). Resultados: los rasgos de personalidad explican más fuertemente el uso de estrategias desadaptativas de regulación emocional y, en menor medida, de estrategias adaptativas. El neuroticismo resultó el principal predictor para las estrategias desadaptativas, seguido por la amabilidad; mientras que para las estrategias adaptativas, el mayor predictor fue la amabilidad, seguido de la apertura a la experiencia. Conclusión: este estudio contribuye a comprender la relación entre los rasgos de personalidad y las estrategias cognitivas de regulación emocional.

Aim: The Personality traits of pregnant women and their husbands is related to their attitudes towards labor and the type of delivery. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the relationship between Personality traits and labor characteristics (pain intensity, and type of delivery) among multiparous and nulliparous women. Materials and methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 210 multiparous and nulliparous women, selected via convenience sampling, who were 37–42 weeks pregnant and have referred to Shiraz hospitals for delivery. Data collection tools were a personal and midwifery information questionnaire, Goldberg’s big-five personality scale, and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) of pain that were completed through interviews. Data were analyzed by SPSS software using descriptive tests to describe the data and Pearson correlation test to analyze them. Results: Most women (190, 90.5%) had normal delivery and (129, 61.4%) experienced the highest pain level (VAS=10). There was no significant relationship between Personality traitss and pain intensity variable. There was a significant positive relationship between extraversion and type of delivery (p = 0.036). Other Personality traits had no significant relationship with the type of delivery. Conclusion: Personality traits have not been studied in terms of pregnancy and birth outcomes compared to other health outcomes. Such research can help professionals and physicians design and target programs that best fit the demographic characteristics they may need, such as those with high extroversion. Resumen: Objetivo: Los rasgos de personalidad de las mujeres embarazadas y sus maridos está relacionado con sus actitudes hacia el trabajo de parto y el tipo de parto. Por lo tanto, el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar la relación entre los rasgos de personalidad y las características del parto (intensidad del dolor y tipo de parto) entre mujeres multíparas y nulíparas. Materiales y Métodos: Este estudio transversal se realizó en 210 mujeres multíparas y nulíparas, seleccionadas mediante muestreo por conveniencia, que tenían entre 37 y 42 semanas de embarazo y fueron referidas a hospitales de Shiraz para el parto. Las herramientas de recopilación de datos fueron un cuestionario de información personal y de partería, la escala de personalidad de los cinco grandes de Goldberg y la escala analógica visual (VAS) de dolor que se completaron a través de entrevistas. Los datos fueron analizados por el software SPSS utilizando pruebas descriptivas para describir los datos y la prueba de correlación de Pearson para analizarlos. Resultados: La mayoría de las mujeres (190, 90,5%) tuvieron parto normal y (129, 61,4%) experimentaron el mayor nivel de dolor (EVA=10). No hubo relación significativa entre los rasgos de personalidad y la variable intensidad del dolor. Hubo una relación positiva significativa entre la extraversión y el tipo de parto (p = 0,036). Otros rasgos de personalidad no tuvieron relación significativa con el tipo de parto. Conclusión: Los rasgos de personalidad no se han estudiado en términos de resultados del embarazo y el parto en comparación con otros resultados de salud. Dicha investigación puede ayudar a los profesionales y médicos a diseñar y orientar los programas que mejor se adapten a las características demográficas que puedan necesitar, como aquellos con una gran extroversión.

Personality traits are persistent characteristics of ways of perceiving, interacting, socializing, and reasoning about the environment and oneself. The general objective of the research was to describe the personality traits in alleged male aggressors with a judicial order for psychological intervention in the (ICCIPFUC), in the year 2022. The study had a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and a scope descriptive. We worked with a population of 70 presumed male aggressors. The instruments used were the sociodemographic file and the MCMI-III Clinical Inventory, whose validation was adapted to the Spanish language by Cardenal and Sánchez in 2007. The results allowed obtaining a sociodemographic database that reveals ages comprised in the adulthood stage. average, predominating the marital status single and married and, level of education the bachelor, in addition, the description of the predominant personality traits in alleged aggressors was obtained. Sense of Community is one of the most researched processes in Community Psychology. Since its initial formulation, belonging to broader social and geographical structures has been part of the definition of the concept. Research on the topic has tended to focus on the analysis of the environmental and collective factors that modulate the integration of individuals into groups and communities and has paid less attention to the individual aspects that guide the direct interactions that people have in these spaces. In this study we analyse the relationship between individual attachment styles and personality traits on the sense of community in 305 respondents from different neighborhoods in Seville (Spain) and Barranquilla (Colombia). The results show a modest predictive effect of secure attachment style and agreeableness mainly on the self and belonging dimensions of sense of community. These results show the need to take into account different levels of analysis in the assessment of belonging to community contexts and the usefulness of defining models that include the interaction of individual and contextual factors in their explanation. In the present study, the relationship between objective and subjective measures of metacognition, personality traits of the Big Five (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness) and gender were examined. A convenience sample of 352 university students completed the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory, the Adjectives to Evaluate Personality instrument, and completed 3 domain-specific tests (vocabulary, probabilities, paper folding) along with confidence in performance judgments for each item on these tests. Through a combination of descriptive statistics, zero-order bivariate correlations, simultaneous multiple regression, and a multivariate analysis of covariance, findings indicate that objective and subjective measures of metacognition are weakly related and that subjective measures of metacognition were more strongly related to personality traits. Conscientiousness and openness were the only personality traits that positively predicted metacognition. Gender affected both subjective and objective measures of metacognition, even after controlling for university type (private, public) and perceptions of academic performance (high, low) such that males were more accurate and less biased in their monitoring than females only in mathematical reasoning and they reported higher awareness of their knowledge and regulation of cognition than their female counterparts. Este artículo se propone describir el papel de las características individuales en el enriquecimiento trabajo-vida, a través de una revisión sistemática de artículos empíricos publicados en revistas de alto impacto. Los resultados muestran que los estados personales y las cogniciones son las características más estudiadas, y que existen muy pocas investigaciones que examinan los efectos de las capacidades personales en el enriquecimiento. Asimismo, la mayoría de los estudios están focalizados en el enriquecimiento trabajo-familia, aunque son cada vez más los autores que consideran otros dominios no laborales como la formación, el emprendimiento, entre otros. Por último, se observa una alta concentración de estudios en Europa, Estados Unidos y Asia, y un desarrollo limitado del campo en Latinoamérica.

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo el diseño y validación de una escala para evaluar comportamiento contraproducente en línea que incluye el análisis conjunto de conductas destructivas (antisociales) y constructivas (prosociales). Además, se propuso determinar qué rasgos de personalidad (normales, patológicos, negativos o positivos) predicen dicho comportamiento. Participaron 351 sujetos de población general argentina (156 hombres, 191 mujeres, 2 se identificaron como no binarios), con una edad promedio de 39.35 años (de = 13.79). Para el cumplimiento de todos los objetivos, aparte de la prueba construida, se emplearon los siguientes instrumentos: Big Five Inventory, Personality Inventory for DSM-5 Brief-Form, Positive Traits Inventory Short-Form, Dark Triad Scale, y una encuesta diseñada ad hoc para evaluar el uso de internet y redes sociales. El análisis factorial exploratorio reveló una estructura de dos factores orientados a la evaluación de los dos tipos de conductas, que explicaban el 57.5 % de la varianza total. Como resultado, se dio lugar a una escala de 18 ítems con muy buenos valores de fiabilidad —coeficiente omega— (conductas destructivas ω = 0.88; conductas constructivas ω = 0.79). Por último, se realizaron análisis de regresión jerárquica que determinaron que los rasgos de la tríada oscura son los que mejor predicen el desarrollo de conductas destructivas, en tanto que los rasgos positivos predicen las conductas constructivas.

This study aimed to identify the capacity of the dark personality to explain the emotional intelligence trait. The sample comprised 395 subjects, aged 18 to 30 years (M = 21.19; SD = 1.75), who responded to the Short Dark Triad, Short Sadistic Impulse Scale, Spitefulness Scale and Emotional Skills Inventory. To achieve the proposed objective, a path analysis model was performed. The results indicated that sadism, Machiavellianism and narcissism positively explain the dimensions of emotional intelligence, while psychopathy and spitefulness explain it negatively. The findings of this study highlight caution when interventions are carried out to increase emotional intelligence in individuals with dark traits, since they can use it for emotional manipulation. El estudio presentado se centró en evaluar los rasgos de personalidad de los docentes universitarios, así como el clima laboral de sus lugares de trabajo, utilizando para su medición dos instrumentos psicométricos a 190 docentes de las ciudades de Ambato y Quito, la evaluación del Clima Laboral se realizó con el instrumento de Clima Laboral SL-SPC, en relación con los rasgos de personalidad de los docentes la prueba utilizada fue el inventario 16PF-5. Los resultados relevantes indican que un 21% de docentes se encuentran en un nivel muy favorable, un 3% muy desfavorable en cuanto al clima laboral. Los rasgos de personalidad que prevalecen son la afabilidad en una puntuación intermedia, atención a las normas en el polo alto, mostrándose como cumplidores, pegados a las políticas, reglamentos establecidos, tradicionales, presentan además resistencia al cambio, pues son tradicionales. En cuanto a las conclusiones, el clima laboral es adecuado para el desarrollo y cumplimiento de las funciones asignadas a los docentes, los rasgos de personalidad se deben considerar dentro de los perfiles profesionales al momento de seleccionar a los docentes para una institución educativa, ya que al ser elementos poco modificables, su comportamiento, actitud, valores estarán determinados por este componente.

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo explorar la relación entre la calidad de los lazos afectivos del padre y de la madre en la infancia con las manifestaciones violentas y variables de ajuste psicológico en la edad adulta de un grupo de varones condenados por violencia contra la mujer. La investigación se realizó en una muestra de 107 hombres penados por violencia de pareja remitidos por los Servicios Sociales Penitenciarios al programa de intervención con maltratadores “Contexto” de la Universidad de Valencia. Tras la aplicación de diferentes instrumentos (Cuestionario de aceptación-rechazo parental, Test de identificación de trastornos por consumo de alcohol, Escala de depresión del Centro de Estudios Epidemiológicos, Escala de Autoestima, Escala de Impulsividad, Inventario de Expresión de Ira Estado/Rasgo e Inventario de Ansiedad Estado/Rasgo) que miden las variables usualmente asociadas a hombres violentos contra su pareja, los resultados mostraron la presencia de dos grupos significativos con base en la aceptación y el rechazo percibido en la infancia. Ante la percepción de rechazo en la infancia resultó significativa la baja autoestima y el elevado consumo de alcohol. Los resultados obtenidos tienen importantes implicaciones a la hora de intervenir con este tipo de población: la incorporación de programas de psicoeducación para padres a fin de prevenir conductas desadaptadas en población adulta.

El análisis de la personalidad de los miembros de una organización puede ser un elemento clave en la gestión empresarial. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo estudiar los incentivos de cooperación a través de la existencia de un fondo. Para ello, se examinó los rasgos de personalidad que pueden inferirse a partir del comportamiento en los juegos económicos, empleando dos juegos: bienes públicos y ultimátum, y se midió la personalidad de los participantes con el modelo de los Cinco Grandes. Se realizó un análisis estadístico de los datos recogidos en una población de estudiantes universitarios españoles. Los resultados sugieren que los más extravertidos recibirán un menor beneficio en la segunda ronda y que el aprendizaje producido entre las dos rondas podría deberse al rasgo de apertura a la experiencia. Este rasgo parece estar relacionado con la oferta realizada y las cantidades que los jugadores estaban dispuestos a aceptar. Los hallazgos pueden ser de interés en diversas áreas de la gerencia empresarial, tales como gestión de equipos o negociación. Se concluye la posibilidad de perfilar indirectamente determinados rasgos de personalidad a través del comportamiento en los juegos económicos.

El objetivo principal de la investigación fue establecer la relación entre los rasgos de personalidad y la ideación suicida en estudiantes universitarios de la ciudad de Lima. El enfoque metodológico utilizado fue el cuantitativo, método no experimental, y un diseño descriptivo correlacional. La muestra de estudio estuvo conformada por 384 estudiantes de ambos sexos, a quienes se les aplicaron el Inventario de Personalidad Reducido de Cinco Factores (NEO-FFI) de Paul Costa (Jr.) & Robert McCrae (2008) y la Escala de Ideación Suicida de A, Beck, M, Kovacs y A.Weissman (2004). Los resultados arrojados mostraron que existe relación significativa entre los rasgos de personalidad y la ideación suicida en la muestra estudiada, siendo esta una correlación positiva media o moderada, de acuerdo a los índices de correlación (r = 0,433)

El objetivo principal de la investigación fue establecer la relación entre los rasgos de personalidad, la ideación suicida y las características sociodemográficas en dos poblaciones de estudiantes universitarios de Lima, 2020. El enfoque utilizado fue el cuantitativo, método de investigación no experimental, tipo de investigación aplicada, con un diseño descriptivo correlacional- comparativo. La muestra de estudio estuvo conformada por 211 estudiantes de ambos sexos, pertenecientes a dos universidades, una de gestión, privada y otra de gestión pública de Lima, matriculados en el Semestre Académico 2020-I. Se les aplicó el Inventario de Personalidad Reducido de Cinco Factores (NEO-FFI) de Paul Costa (Jr.) & Robert McCrae (2008), la Escala de Ideación Suicida de A, Beck, M, Kovacs y A.Weissman (2004) y una ficha sociodemográfica. Los resultados obtenidos indican que existe relación positiva moderada entre los rasgos de personalidad, ideación suicida y las características sociodemográficas en las dos muestras de estudio. Asimismo, se encontró diferencias significativas entre los rasgos de personalidad e ideación suicida según las características sociodemográficas en ambas muestras.

This study aimed to characterize the personality traits of individuals with substance use disorders to verify the association and predictive value of personality traits for psychopathological symptoms and impulsivity. The participants were 77 adults undergoing treatment at a psychosocial care center for alcohol and drug, who completed a sociodemographic and clinical data questionnaire, the NEO Five-Factor Inventory, the Adult Self-Report (ASR), and the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS-11). Most participants presented very low/low scores on extroversion and openness factors. The five personality factors revealed significant associations with most ASR subscales and BIS-11. High rates of neuroticism and low levels of extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness are related to a greater occurrence of symptoms of anxiety, depression, attention, problems of thought and social isolation, somatic complaints, aggressive behavior, and impulsivity. According to the regression models, conscientiousness and neuroticism factors were more significant for symptoms related to anxiety/depression, thought problems, and rule-breaking behavior. Based on recent investigations of variables considered socially desirable, such as character strengths and virtues, proposals have been initiated that aim to analyze how these characteristics behave when underused or overused. A set of traits known for their extreme and antagonistic characteristics are the variables of the Dark Triad (Machiavellianism, narcissism and psychopathy). This study aimed to analyze, from a multivariate model, the contribution of virtues in explaining the Dark Triad. Participants were 284 adults, aged 18 to 65 years (M=29.06; SD=9.73); who responded to the Escala de Forças de Caráter and the Short Dark Triad. Based on the restricted path analysis model, the results indicated that the interpersonal virtues, courage, humanity and self-regulation explained the dark dimensions. The goals of this paper are the cross-cultural adaptation and psychometric properties evaluation of the Brazilian version of the Clinical Perfectionism Questionnaire (CPQ), a scale that measures the tendency of a person to pursue self-demanding standards and the subjective consequences provided by achieving them or not. The original instrument was translated to Portuguese and back-translated to English. The preliminary version was judged by one of the authors of the instrument and by Brazilian specialists, producing content validity indicators. The final version was applied to a sample of 250 Brazilian undergraduate students, aged from 18 to 60 years old (M=24.9, SD=8.63), mostly female (76%). In the Exploratory Factor Analysis, data have revealed a bidimensional structure, and the other psychometric properties, such as internal consistency and validity regarding other variables, have shown adequate to the instrument. The aim of this study was to investigate whether combinations of factors regarding organizational culture and the personality traits of purchase managers and sales managers are relevant to explain collaboration in the supply network (CSN). Our theoretical framework comprises Behavioral Operations Management, Organizational Behavior and Supply Network. We used a self-administered electronic questionnaire based on instruments that are well-known in the literature. We used Qualitative Comparative Analysis with dichotomized conditions. CSN with suppliers showed different associations with behavioral constructs compared to CSN with customers, which shows behavioral differences between purchase and sales managers. Our findings concerning CSN suggest that the behavioral requirements for hiring purchase and sales managers are different, and that customer relations are a priority within the organization. This study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID-5) in Brazilian community and clinical samples. This research included 1,210 people, 554 of them with psychopathology indicators. The participants answered the PID-5 and the Self-Reporting Questionnaire, in addition to a sociodemographic and health data questionnaire that included the six items of the suicidality module of the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview. The results showed that the 25 facets of the PID-5 had adequate reliability coefficients and evidence of unidimensionality. The instrument’s five-factor structure was replicated with high levels of congruence with the representative sample from North America. PID-5 scores were statistically different between clinical and community groups and were positively correlated with measures of suicide risk and psychopathological symptoms.
