Background: The Polish educational system for nurses has undergone a substantial transformation over the past two decades, with the introduction of a mandatory university education that encompasses humanization in medicine. Consequently, nurses who had been licensed to practice before the implementation of the reform returned to universities to pursue master's degrees alongside their younger colleagues who had only recently obtained bachelor's degrees. This distinctive learning environment, in which nurses of varying ages and years of practice study together, offers an opportunity to gain insight into their perspectives on the educational process. Accordingly, the present study aims to examine the opinions of Polish postgraduate nursing students at one university regarding medical humanization courses, focusing on the extent to which these opinions are shaped by age, years of service, and specialty of nursing care. Methods: From February to June 2023, an anonymous survey was conducted on the university's online platform, involving 89 out of 169 participants in the master's degree nursing program. The newly designed questionnaire comprised 15 primary questions and 11 metric questions. Results: The study population consisted of registered nurses with a mean age of 35 years (ranging from 22 to 54 years). The majority of participants were women (97.8%). The analysis revealed that older students (Spearman's rho 0.480, p < 0.001) and those with more years of professional experience (Spearman's rho 0.377, p < 0.001) perceived humanizing classes as a vital component of nurse training and work. Younger and less experienced students did not share this perspective. Specialization status was also identified as a differentiating factor (Chi² = 10.830, p < 0.05). However, other characteristics, including the number of positions held during the survey, the type of position, the primary employer, and the nature of work (shift or non-shift), did not exhibit statistically significant differentiation among participants. Conclusions: This study found age- and work-experience-related differences in nursing students' opinions toward courses teaching humanization in health care. The results suggest that changing the teaching format and involving older and more experienced students in sharing experiences with younger and less experienced students could potentially improve the implementation of learned skills in clinical practice. While the lack of educational opportunities limits the future of most people in Ethiopia, they pose dire consequences to young people in migration hotspot areas. Using input‐process‐outcome‐context‐education quality framework, this study investigated the quality of education in eight migration hotspot areas of Ethiopia and its association with migration. A random sample of 1,187 participants (793 students, 262 teachers and 132 parents) completed a survey. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results indicated that participants' overall rating of education quality was low. Over a third of participants perceived that input, process and outcome components of education in migration hotspot areas have a quality problem. Over 80% of the participants believed that poor quality of education could be a cause for migration. More specifically, a significant portion of the participants (37%) reported that there was no pedagogical centre in their respective schools; continuous assessment was practiced rarely (36%); and creativity and discovery among students was almost non‐existent (40%). The participants' ratings indicated that the top five factors that contribute to the poor quality of education are low level of teacher competence, poor student motivation, poverty, value attached to education and large class size. At the present time, it is of interest to promote reflection on educational and social inclusion within a framework of social justice, in order to promote the quality of education. A scoping review approach is adopted from a critical perspective of inclusion, to deconstruct the predominant judgment of educational inclusion and reveal the processes of exclusion and duality that underlie the school environment. A review of the WOS, SCOPUS and ERIC databases was conducted. Seventy-nine articles published in international journals addressing this topic were obtained. Thematic analysis was conducted using the Nvivo software package. The emerging themes include arguments for: rethink to inclusion within the framework of diversity and social justice; arguing the possibilities of inclusion/exclusion depend on various factors and the sociocultural and professional context; calling for greater commitment, ethics and professionalism to meet the challenges of inclusion; denouncing persistent barriers to be overcome; and, finally, calling for new roles and scenarios for support services. The existence of non-educational background teachers (NEBTs) no doubt contributes to developing the quality of education but seems to lack attention. This research aimed to investigating the knowledge of NEBTs on pedagogical competence. A mixed method with explanatory sequential design was employed. The study was conducted in Central Lombok Regency. The total population was 109 spreading in 12 districts and three participants out of the total population were selected to participate in the interview. The instruments were a test in the form of multiple choice and an interview. The data from the test were analyzed quantitatively while the data obtained from the interview was analyzed qualitatively. The data of the test showed that the scores of four sub-aspects of pedagogical competence were 52.20 for the learning theories, 57.33 for students’ characteristics, 61.75 for the nature of education, and 84.30 for curriculum. Thus, the mean score was 63.90. The data from the interview showed that self-development efforts were low and the school supervisors and staffs role contributed only at the practical level. The future of education relies on the integration of information technologies, emphasizing the importance of equity and inclusiveness for quality education. Teacher education programs are essential for fostering qualified educators for the future. Integrating AI in education is crucial to ensure inclusivity and comprehensive services for all. This study aims to evaluate student teachers' perceptions of using AI in learning and teaching, and to provide suggestions for enhancing sustainable education through information technologies. A qualitative research design was adopted to gather perceptions and experiences from 240 student teachers who participated in a seminar on AI usage and completed self-reflection tasks. These student teachers, enrolled in various teaching methods and principal courses, contributed to the thematic analysis. The study reveals that AI should be carefully planned and incorporated into lesson plans to enhance personalized learning. Student teachers reported that AI supports and motivates the learning process, effectively transforming students' needs and learning experiences. However, they also noted potential drawbacks, such as AI imposing restrictions on the teaching profession, replacing teachers, and producing biased results. The study suggests that capacity-building strategies for student teachers should be enriched across different courses to raise awareness about AI's applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose: This study aims to explore the conditions of successful implementation of Quality 4.0 in higher education institutions (HEIs) and the key factors affecting it, as well as the role of the Triple Helix collaborative (THC) framework in enhancing the integration of Quality 4.0 principles and Industry 4.0 technologies. Design/methodology/approach: A survey-based strategy was adopted, adopting questionnaires distributed amongst researchers chosen based on their publications related to the aforementioned fields. Findings: The successful integration of disruptive technologies, Quality 4.0 and THC in HEIs heavily relies on educators' continuous learning and professional development. Faculty members must acquire digital skills and competencies to effectively adopt disruptive technologies and implement Quality 4.0 principles in their teaching practices. HEIs should provide opportunities for faculty members to engage in ongoing training programmes, workshops and communities of practice that focus on enhancing their technological proficiencies, pedagogical strategies and collaborative skills. The purpose of this study is to examine financial management audits of educational institutions to improve the quality of schools in Indonesia. This literature review involves several key steps: identifying and narrowing the research topic; searching for relevant literature sources including books, articles, journals, and other documents; reading and understanding the contents of these sources; compiling and analysing the collected data; and finally, drawing conclusions from the research. This study's findings underscore the critical importance of financial audits for educational institutions in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, enhancing transparency and accountability, boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management, preventing fraud, and securing the sustainability of these institutions. Financial audits serve a crucial role in the improvement of educational quality in Indonesia by fostering accountability and transparency in budget usage. Regular audits require institutions to meticulously account for financial transactions, mitigate the risk of fund misuse, and promote effective fund allocation. This suggests that bolstering financial audit practices in Indonesian educational institutions can significantly elevate educational standards.

Standardized assessments, such as the Saber 11 test, play a crucial role in both individual and institutional decision-making in the educational field. In response to the constant changes of the pedagogical models, these tests are adapted to cover a broader range of cognitive skills and reflect the diverse capacities of students. Objective: This study aims to analyze the structural change in student performance in the Saber 11 test, in the period between 2014 and 2022, focusing on the year 2016 as a potential turning point at the General Santander Educational Institution in the municipality of Soacha, Cundinamarca. Methodology: The Chow test – a statistical tool that evaluates whether the coefficients in two linear regressions applied to two data sets are equivalent – was applied. Results: The analysis revealed that, on the one hand, the areas of critical reading and English experienced a significant structural change in 2016. On the other hand, mathematics, social studies, civic competencies and natural sciences did not present structural changes in the same period. Conclusion: Performance on the Saber 11 test showed an improvement between 2014 and 2016, followed by stagnation and even a decline in subsequent years. A slight upturn was anticipated in 2022, although still far from the levels reached in 2016. It is estimated that it will take at least five more years to return to the performance level of that year.

The aim of this research was to study the current level of preschool teachers' partnership competence in the aspect of interacting in the teaching staff. During the research, questionnaires and statistical methods of analysis were conducted. The results of the study show that 82% of the respondents describe the psychological climate in the team as moderately favourable, 6% note its high level, 9% feel low favourableness, and 3% see it as unfavourable. The conducted research revealed a positive moderate correlation between the partnership competence level and the psychological climate level in the team of preschool teachers. Therefore, a positive psychological climate, characterized by mutual understanding, support and openness, contributes to creating a favorable environment for partnership interaction. When teachers feel comfortable and supported in the team, they are more inclined to work together, share experiences and provide mutual support. The area of further research is to identify the relationship between the professional development of teachers and their partnership competence, as well as to study the impact of distance learning on partnership interaction between teachers and ways of its development in the digital environment. The article is devoted to the urgent problem of formation of reading literacy of modern schoolchildren, which is interpreted as the most important type of functional literacy, based on the ability to operate various types of texts, understanding their deep meaning and correct interpretation. The authors reveal the specifics of the formation of reading literacy in Russian language classes, using regionally colored texts as a meaning-forming content component. The materials of the article reflect the data of the pedagogical experiment, which allows to adjust the methodological strategies of the teacher in a significant way. The authors state that despite the need to comply with the normative requirements set forth in the updated FSES, modern teachers do not work on the formation of functional literacy in the system. A comprehensive analysis of the educational results of the educational process allowed the authors of the article to argue that the content basis of lessons aimed at the formation of functional literacy can be regionally colored texts that allow building lines of in-depth dialogue against the background of understanding the meanings of the culture of the small homeland.

The background of this research is the preparation for face-to-face learning, so we need facilities and infrastructure. where learning that started at school has become at home with the issuance of government regulation number 57 years. 2021 regarding the standard of facilities and infrastructure which is used as a reference in face-to-face learning. This study uses a qualitative evaluation research where the evaluation model used is the discrepancy model. The discrepancy model consists of four stages, namely design, installation, process and comparison. Then the results of the design used are government regulation number 57 of 2021 concerning standard facilities and infrastructure, the form of installation is a discussion with the foundation then socialized with school residents, the process is data collection, the making of proposals, spending and realization and comparison there are facilities that do not yet exist, learning process related to the quality of education are also still lacking because teachers have not mastered technology and lack of facilities and infrastructure such as laptops and webcams, it can be said that the evaluation results regarding standards facilities and infrastructure are still lacking to improve the quality of education. suggestions from researchers to hold training and re-collection of data to add facilities and infrastructure that are lacking.

Introduction: Considering the importance of the quality of education in universities on the growth and development programs of the country, this study aimed to explain the opinions of students, professors, and educational managers regarding the factors affecting improving education quality at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. Method: This qualitative study used conventional content analysis to understand the experiences of students, professors, and managers at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. Participants were selected through purposeful sampling with diversity in considering faculty, educational group, level, age, and gender. The interviews in person included in-depth interviews with 20 students, 8 professors, and 3 educational managers. The responses were analyzed using the Graneheim and Lundman model. Results: The factors affecting the improvement of education quality from the students’ perspective were determined in four main contexts: the professor’s teaching method in class, modern teaching techniques, appropriate interactions between professor and student, and the availability of educational infrastructures. The effective factors from the educational managers’ perspective were identified in two prominent contexts: the professor’s teaching in class and appropriate interactions between professor and student. The effective factors from the professors’ perspective were identified in four main contexts: professors’ motivation, empowering professors, professors’ and students’ characteristics. Conclusion: Improving the quality of education depends on appropriate interactions between professors and students, professors’ teaching methods, modern teaching techniques, and educational infrastructures. Also, the motivation and empowerment of professors and the characteristics of professors and students play a significant role in this field. Therefore, to improve the quality of education, educational managers must pay attention to these factors.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the internal quality assurance systems implemented at the Polish universities providing education in the field of management. Design/methodology/approach: To achieve the aim of this study, the qualitative analysis of preexisting data was applied to examine the documents. The subject of this study included the reports on programme evaluations conducted between 2020 and 2023 by the evaluation teams of the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA) at universities providing education in the field of management. Findings: It was found that the internal educational quality assurance systems implemented at the evaluated HEIs are not fully effective (the evaluation teams formulated remarks related to inadequate operation of the systems in as many as 70% of the evaluated HEIs). The areas of the systems that should be given priority by the HEIs when implementing measures to improve their effectiveness include the process of reviewing and improving the curricula, the process of defining and verifying the assumed learning outcomes and the graduation process. Research limitations/implications: The examination included the reports on educational quality assessments conducted in only one field of study (management). Therefore, the obtained results cannot be generalised so as to cover the entire population of higher education institutions in Poland. Practical implications: The results of the examination may constitute an inspiration for the Polish universities (not only those providing education in the field of management) to determine and implement measures aimed to increase the effectiveness of the internal systems of educational quality assurance, and as a result improve the quality of provided educational services. Originality/value: Identifying the weaknesses of the internal quality assurance systems implemented at HEIs providing management education and the elements of the systems that should be prioritised by HEIs when taking measures to improve their effectiveness. Introduction: Medical education is a rapidly evolving field, necessitating adaptation to shifts in student demographics and societal needs. Balancing the demand for more healthcare providers must be accompanied by a focus on maintaining the quality of education. As certain conventional teaching methods lose favour, there is a continuous influx of new technologies that can be harnessed for the education of future doctors. Purpose of the study: The objective of this study was to gather and analyse literature on the utilization of new technologies in medical education and their influence on students, educators, and the overall quality of medical instruction. Material and methods: A review of the literature available on PubMed and a grey literature search was performed. We used such keywords like: "medical education", "physician training", "medical students", "technology", "elearning", "new learning methods". We also applied Bolean logical operators such as "AND", "OR". Results: Examining the gathered publications leads to the conclusion that a variety of new technologies are being employed in medical education, such as e-learning, telehealth, and virtual or augmented reality. While some function as alternatives to existing methods, others introduce entirely novel approaches. In general, these new technologies positively impact education by enhancing outcomes, increasing accessibility to education, and reducing the costs associated with the teaching process. Conclusions: The integration of emerging technologies has become essential in the preparation of future medical professionals. Despite the overall positive impact, there are apprehensions regarding potential long-term consequences for healthcare delivery. This article explores the content and main directions of scientific and research activities in higher education. It highlights the key types of research work and conceptual tasks undertaken in these institutions. The study clarifies the interconnected elements, components, principles, and priority areas for organizing, developing, and enhancing the effectiveness of students' research activities. It emphasizes the need to integrate creative methods and cloud-oriented technologies into higher education to foster the creative abilities of future professionals. To assess the effectiveness of these approaches, a pedagogical experiment was conducted. The hypothesis posited that a well-organized research process in higher education institutions leads to a high level of research competence in senior undergraduate and graduate students. This research discusses the political intervention of the city government in the implementation of education in urban areas. Political intervention by city governments is often seen as an effort to improve the quality of education, but in practice, this intervention can give rise to various problems and challenges. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach in several cities in Indonesia to explore the impact and implications of political intervention on the education system. The research results show that political intervention can influence education policies, budget allocations, and decision-making processes in schools. Apart from that, this intervention also has an impact on the quality of education received by students and the professionalism of teaching staff. This research concludes that although the intention of political intervention is to improve the education system, its implementation needs to be carried out carefully, considering the possible long-term impacts.

School management is responsible and accountable for implementing educational policies into practice effectively and efficiently to provide quality education. Simultaneously, school management can grasp the core features of the whole school process and identify the relationship among three variables: quality management practices, school culture, and student performance. The current study aims to explore the school principals' perception about quality management practices and its relationship with school culture and student performance in the public secondary schools of Punjab province, Pakistan. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the study adopted an exploratory sequential mix-methods research design. The researcher conducted a systematic literature review of sixty-three previous studies and interviews with eleven school principals for the qualitative data. Based on results obtained from the qualitative phase, a questionnaire was prepared and dispatched to 150 school principals to get quantitative data. Successively 120 valid responses were received. SEM analysis was performed to get quantitative results. The study's preliminary conclusion demonstrated a positive connection between quality management and student performance in public secondary schools, and quality management was also a significant predictor of school culture. Further, school culture served as a complete mediator between quality management and student performance.

The article deals with the traditional format of teaching and learning from the point of view of its quality, in particular the advantages and disadvantages of face-to-face education in comparison with online training. The purpose is to check whether the classroom training process is of better quality than online teaching and learning on the basis of the real case of teaching English at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. The tasks are to find out the pluses of offline training in comparison with the online format; to reveal the minuses of the traditional educational form in comparison with the online format on the basis of real teaching experience; and to check whether the pluses or the minuses of offline training have a greater influence on intermediate students’ learning results. The investigation methods are empirical methods (surveys, observation) and general theoretical methods (analysis, syntheses and comparison). The results exposed the following: 1) benefits of face-to-face training: real-time interaction, improvement of social skills, collaboration, organization, motivation, accessibility, and better assessment; 2) cons of face-to-face training: processing a smaller capacity of programme material; problems with discipline; impossibility of listening to the lesson material repeatedly if necessary; problems with access to learning material from the internet; and the tendency of some students to have a psychological barrier to speaking a foreign language “live” in front of other students; and 3) the intermediate students’ learning results demonstrated that offline students have worse academic progress than the students studying online. The conclusion is that the minuses of offline training have a greater influence on students’ learning results than the pluses do. In order to conclude which format of education is of better quality, it is necessary to continue investigating the problem.

This research aims to analyze the responses of teachers and administrators of the Muslim Scholar Generation Foundation (YGMC) to the results of the computer-based national assessment (ANBK). This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research sample comprised 62 people, 56 teachers, two deputy school principals and two school committee members. Data was collected using interviews, observation, questionnaires, documentation methods, and primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, concluding (verification) and checking the validity of the data using triangulation. The research results show that: 1) Most YGMC teachers responded positively and negatively to the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK); 2) Planning to improve the quality of YGMC education is carried out by data-based planning analysis, which determines the vision, mission, goals, SNP, and curriculum; 3) YGMC's implementation of quality management consists of implementing standards for learning activities and curriculum, improving the qualifications and competencies of educators and education staff, quality of graduates, education management, community involvement in education implementation; 4) Evaluation of the quality of YGMC education is carried out by evaluating performance, evaluating the learning process, preparing self-evaluations, and developing priority scales for activities and programs.

The research relevance is determined by the need to assess Georgia’s trade relations and customs activities in terms of their compliance with European requirements. The study aims to identify areas in the field of customs control that require further legislative regulation and harmonisation with EU legislation. The study employed the following research methods: analysis of statistical data on trade activity; comparison – to compare indicators of unrealised export potential between countries; graphical – to display the results; and generalisation – to summarise the information in line with EU requirements. The study determined the dynamics of Georgia’s trade and economic activities with the EU; assessed the use of export potential with different EU countries; and substantiated the effectiveness and efficiency of Georgia’s customs control reforms. The need to adapt the customs legislation to the common EU requirements is proved and the directions of specific measures for further improvement of customs activities are identified: application of transit (improvements to the guarantee management system are needed); control of sanctioned goods at the border (to speed up the EU’s response to specific requests); risk management system (to establish systematic internal and interagency information exchange); tax authorities (reorganisation and increase of profitability); customs protection of intellectual property rights. This will help bring Georgia’s economy closer to the EU economic area. The expediency of improving the quality of education and increasing public spending in this area has been substantiated, which will contribute to the professionalism of economic reforms. The results and conclusions are of practical importance for the Government in the development of customs policy and customs authorities in the implementation of customs procedures

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way learning is organized around the world. Russian universities have also been faced with the need to quickly transfer all teaching to an online format. The importance of student satisfaction with the education quality in online learning is increasing, since it is an important condition for motivation. The paper shows that based on the analysis of students’ messages in the social network, it is possible to observe and analyze the overall dynamics and trends in student community satisfaction with the quality of the learning / the efficiency of universities and conduct a comparative analysis of the identified characteristic data groups with their totality. It is shown that the data on the reaction of students of a particular university may have significant deviations from the totality of data, which reflects the characteristics of the reaction of students of a particular university to events occurring at the same time. This may indicate the internal differences of the university, which form an appropriate response to external events.To understand the satisfaction of students in the transition to a new implementation format of the learning. The digital traces of students from the social network VKontakte were analyzed using individual Big Data tools on the PolyAnalyst software platform. This made it possible to trace changes in the mood of students and, on the example of a single university, to identify and explain deviations in the attitude of students to the implementation of the learning, as well as to verify the methodology. The methodology developed by authors makes it possible to detect problematic issues in the university, including the moment of their occurrence, relevance, degree of concern of students. Such content analysis can be used not only to assess students’ satisfaction with the quality of the learning, but also to monitor the emergence of any problems that cause concern and strong reactions on the part of the student community, as well as other communities and individual groups.

This research is motivated by the demand for educational institutions to create quality human resources. Regulation of the Minister of National Education No. 63 of 2009 concerning the quality assurance system for education in Indonesia serves as a reference for regulating quality limits, quality assurance objectives, and quality level references. This study aims to improve the quality of education and identify its inhibiting factors at SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Surakarta. This research method is qualitative. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity technique uses source and method triangulation. The data analysis technique in this research has three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the strategies to improve the quality of education carried out by SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari are: 1) Adopting four curricula, 2) Improving student achievement, both academic and non-academic, 3) Improving infrastructure facilities through a) minimum educator standards of S1, b) straightforward programs and division of tasks, c) adequate infrastructure, d) an environment that supports the learning process, e) foundation and community support. At the same time, the inhibiting factors are the large number of students and the lack of technology-based learning facilities in the classroom. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi adanya tuntutan bagi lembaga pendidikan untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional No 63 Tahun 2009 tentang sistem penjaminan mutu Pendidikan di Indonesia menjadi acuan dalam mengatur batasan mutu, tujuan penjaminan mutu dan acuan tingkatan mutu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan faktor penghambatnya di SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Surakarta. Metode penelitian ini ialah kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini ada tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari yaitu: 1) Mengadopsi empat kurikulum, 2) Meningkatkan prestasi peserta didik baik akademik maupun non akademik, 3) Meningkatkan sarana prasarana melalui: a) standard pendidik minimal S1, b) program dan pembagian tugas yang jelas, c) sarana prasarana yang memadai, d) lingkungan yang mendukung proses pembelajaran, e) dukungan yayasan dan masyarakat. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu jumlah peserta didik yang banyak dan minimnya fasilitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di kelas. Kata Kunci: Mutu pendidikan; sekolah dasar; strategi pendidikan

As it encourages students to solve problems on their own and guides them throughout the process, the importance of active learning has gained popularity in a growing body of scholarly literature. However, there is a paucity of research on the practice and challenges of active learning in public universities in Ethiopia. This study seeks to examine the attitudes of faculty members and students toward the practices of active learning. Data for the study were collected from randomly selected 1597 participants (404 faculty members and 1193 undergraduate students) in eight public universities. The findings revealed that most of the respondents perceived active learning positively. However, the practice of active learning was found to be low where lecture was the most frequently reported method of instruction. Faculty participants have identified factors that hinder their use of active learning methods. The study has practical implications and contributes to the literature on practices and challenges of active learning strategies in public universities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Many countries, including Indonesia, consider becoming a developed country as a major goal, which can be achieved through improving the quality of education. However, Indonesia is still lagging behind in terms of education quality when compared to other countries in Southeast Asia and the world. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of the quality of education in Indonesia in order to catch up and achieve the status of a developed Indonesia. This study uses quantitative research methods. Data were collected through a survey using questionnaires and literature studies. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using regression tests using the help of the SPSS program. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between access to education, teacher quality, and educational infrastructure and the quality of education in Indonesia. The article deals with the traditional format of teaching and learning from the point of view of its quality, in particular the advantages and disadvantages of face-to-face education in comparison with online training. The purpose is to check whether the classroom training process is of better quality than online teaching and learning on the basis of the real case of teaching English at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. The tasks are to find out the pluses of offline training in comparison with the online format; to reveal the minuses of the traditional educational form in comparison with the online format on the basis of real teaching experience; and to check whether the pluses or the minuses of offline training have a greater influence on intermediate students' learning results. The investigation methods are empirical methods (surveys, observation) and general theoretical methods (analysis, syntheses and comparison). The results exposed the following: 1) benefits of face-to-face training: real-time interaction, improvement of social skills, collaboration, organization, motivation, accessibility, and better assessment; 2) cons of face-toface training: processing a smaller capacity of programme material; problems with discipline; impossibility of listening to the lesson material repeatedly if necessary; problems with access to learning material from the internet; and the tendency of some students to have a psychological barrier to speaking a foreign language "live" in front of other students; and 3) the intermediate students' learning results demonstrated that offline students have worse academic progress than the students studying online. The conclusion is that the minuses of offline training have a greater influence on students' learning results than the pluses do.
