We outlined the causes of non-compliance and developed and implemented improvement plans. We compared the results obtained before and after the implementation of the QCC to assess the enhancement in patient compliance concerning wearing masks during external examinations, particularly among individuals diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis.Results: The compliance rate for mask-wearing during external examinations rose from an initial 32.61% (45/138) prior to the intervention to 83.71% (149/178) following the intervention. Objective: To analyse and continually improve existing issues in the quality improvement process of medical linear accelerators (LINACs) and enhance the quality control management of LINACs. Methods: Data were collected from eight LINACs (sourced from three manufacturers) at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital using Excel diaries between January 2019 and December 2020. The data description and analysis were performed using the analytic hierarchy process, SPSSAU and Excel software, and mean-time-to-repair (MTTR)/mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) metrics. Continuous quality improvement was executed using the quality control circle (QCC) quality management method. Results: After quality improvement, the risk frequency of ‘LINAC down’ events decreased by 43.63% and downtime was reduced by 40.45%. The weight of downtime risk improved by 73.69%. The MTTR recovery value increased by 31.90%, and MTBF reliability increased by 2.97 h. The simulation results demonstrated that the proposed quality improvement measures could effectively decrease the frequency and duration of downtimes, consequently extending the normal operational time of LINACs. Conclusion: Transitioning from instant repair to preventative maintenance can enhance the operational efficiency of equipment and yield economic benefits for hospitals. The QCC method and the event risk evaluation model are effective in reducing the downtime of LINACs and improving their quality control management.

Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities combined with KANO model on improvement of nursing satisfaction among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases. Methods A QCC team was established to analyzed the current situation and factors influencing the nursing satisfaction among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases. The PDCA procedure and KANO model were adopted in decision making and carrying out countermeasures. Results The nursing satisfaction rate among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases was increased form 90. 11% to 96. 28% after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion Continuous quality improvement by using QCC is effective to improve the nursing satisfaction among hospitalized patients with gynecological diseases. Objective To evaluate the of quality control circle (QCC) activities in improving the implementation of “one-doctor-one-patient” in the outpatient department of ophthalmology hospital. Methods A QCC team was established to conduct QCC activities. The current situation and factors of errors in the implementation of “one-doctor-one-patient” in the outpatient department were analyzed. Targeted nursing countermeasures by using QCC management tools were carried out to establish a standard procedure of outpatient management. Results The implementation rate of “one-doctor-one-patient” in the outpatient department was increased formation 41. 67% to 91. 56% . Conclusion The QCC is an effective tool to improve the outpatient consultation process and quality of nursing service in the outpatient department of an ophthalmology hospital. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC)activities to reduce the risk of defects in the intra-hospital transport of critically ill ICU patients. Methods A QCC team was established, and factors influencing quality of the intra-hospital transport of critically ill ICU patients were analyzed. Improvement goals were set and following countermeasures were carried out to reduce the risk of defects in the intra-hospital transport. Results The rate of defects in the intra-hospital transport of critically ill ICU patients was decreased form 31. 75%beforeimplementation of QCC activities to 10. 66% after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion The QCC activity is effective to reduce the risk of defects in the intra-hospital transport of critically ill ICU patients. It helps to regulate the management of first aid materials and modified the intra-hospital transport process. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC)activities to reduce the errors in rechecking of finished drug products in pharmacy intravenous admixture service (PIVAS). Methods A QCC team was established to conduct QCC activities. The current situation and factors of errors in rechecking of finished drug products in PIVAS were analyzed. Targeted nursing countermeasures were carried out. Results The rate of errors in rechecking of finished drug product in PIVAS was decreased from 75. 93% to 15. 74%. Conclusion The QCC is effective to reduce the errors in rechecking of finished drug products in PIVAS. It helps to ensure the patient safety and promoting the rational drug use in clinical settings. Objective To improve the accuracy of rational diet and the quality of life in hospitalized patients with diabetes mellitus by using quality control circle activities. Methods The problem-solving QCC activities were carried out, and the corresponding countermeasures were formulated and implemented, including the establishment of a systematic health education model, the establishment of a multi-dimensional training system, and establishment of a perfect catering mechanism in the canteen. Results The accurate rate of rational diet in hospitalized diabetic patients increased from 45. 52% before implementation of QCC activities to 77. 99% after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion The QCC activities can improve the accurate rate of rational diet for hospitalized patients with diabetes mellitus, effectively improve the blood sugar level, improve the self-management ability, delay disease progression, and improve the quality of life. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities in reducing the incidence of postoperative complications in patients with orbital wall fracture. Methods The problem-solving QCC method was adopted to investigate the current status and factors of postoperative complications in patients with orbital wall fracture. Targeted nursing interventions were carried out as follows: A modified method ophthalmic pressure bandaging had been used; the three-dimensional teaching management model consisting of precision teaching, precision management; fine nursing and exquisite technique; A multipurpose ice pack had been designed to relieve the swelling; A multipurpose semi-reclining position non-slip pad had been designed. Results The incidence of postoperative complications was decreased after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion The QCC activity is effective to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in patients with orbital wall fracture. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities in improving the accuracy of inhalants usage in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods A QCC team was established to conduct problem-solving QCC activities. The current situation and factors of inhalants usage in COPD patients were analyzed. Targeted nursing countermeasures were carried out including comprehensive health education, standard operating procedure, enhanced training and evaluation, and diversified exercise of respiratory function. Results The accuracy rate of inhalants usage in COPD patients was increased form 58. 25% before implementation of QCC activities to 83. 06% after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion The QCC is effective to improve the accuracy of inhalants usage in COPD patients. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities in improving the blood pressure control rate in young and middle-aged hypertensive patients in nursing clinics. Methods From July 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021, a total of 316 cases of young and middle-aged hypertensive patients were collected. According to the random number table method, they were randomly divided into control group and QCC group. Patients in the control group were given routine health education, and patients in the QCC group were given QCC activities on the basis of routine health education. A checklist for monitoring blood pressure was developed and factors influencing the successful blood pressure were analyzed. Countermeasures were carried out to improve quality of nursing interventions on hypertension. The two groups were intervened for 6 months, and the blood pressure control rate of the two groups was observed. Results Unreasonable lifestyle and lack of health education from nurses were the main risk factors for the blood pressure failure among young and middle-aged hypertension patients. The blood pressure control rate in the QCC group was higher than that in the control group(68. 35%, vs. 32. 91%, P＜0. 01). Conclusion QCC activities could improve the blood pressure control rate in young and middle-aged hypertensive patients. (目的 探讨高血压护理门诊中运用品管圈活动改善中青年高血压患者血压达标率的效果。方法 选取2020年7月—2021年1月高血压护理门诊中青年高血压患者316例, 根据随机数字表法随机分为常规组(n=158)和品管圈组(n=158)。常规组给予常规健康宣教, 品管圈组在常规组的基础上开展品管圈活动, 制定高血压患者血压达标情况督查表, 对影响达标的因素进行分析, 进而针对性制定对策以改进相关护理措施。两组分别干预6个月, 比较患者血压达标率情况。结果 生活方式不合理和护士健康宣教缺乏是中青年高血压患者血压不达标的主要危险因素。品管圈组患者血压达标率优于常规组(68. 35%vs. 32. 91%, P＜0. 01)。结论 开展品管圈活动能有效提高中青年高血压患者的血压达标率。)

Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC)activities in improving the standardized implementation rate of peripheral venous thrombolysis for lower-limb deep venous thrombosis (DVT). Methods A QCC group was set up. Factors causing failed implementation rate of DVT were analyzed, and countermeasures were carried out for continuous quality improvement. Results The standardized implementation rate of peripheral venous thrombolysis for lower-limb DVT increased form 33. 33% before QCC activities to 91. 25% after QCC activities, with a significant difference (P＜0. 05). Conclusion The implementation of QCC activities for continuous quality improvement of standardized procedure of peripheral venous thrombolysis may help to improve the effect of thrombolytic therapy. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle(QCC) activities in reducing the incidence of abdominal distention after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Factors influencing the abdominal distention after laparoscopic cholecystectomy were investigated and analyzed, and the problem-solving PDCA procedure was adopted for decision making and countermeasures implementation. Comprehensive interventions such as tube fixation, rehabilitation exercise, enhancing nurse’s scientific literacy, diversified health education, integrative nursing on pain control and establishment of pre-rehabilitant mode were carried out. Results The incidence of abdominal distention was decreased form 67. 28% to 29. 61% after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion QCC is and effect management tool for reducing the incidence of abdominal distention after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. More efforts should be focused on preoperative and intraoperative issues which could affect the abdominal distention after surgery. (目的 探讨运用品管圈活动降低腹腔镜胆囊切除术后患者腹胀发生率的效果。方法 开展问题解决型品管圈活动, 通过现状分析、原因解析, 制定了针对性对策并予以实施, 包括有效固定管道、合理进行活动等、提升护士科普素养、多元化健康宣教、中西医结合护理缓解疼痛构建预康复模式等。结果 腹腔镜胆囊切除术后患者腹胀发生率从67. 28%下降至29. 61%。结论 品管圈活动能降低腹腔镜胆囊切除术后患者腹胀发生率, 但活动过程中对于术前、术中的改善重点未涉及, 对于围手术期的关注不够全面等问题有待进一步改善。)

Objective To explore the effect of quality control circle (QCC)activity on shortening the time from hospital admission to operation of trauma patients in the emergency department. Methods A QCC activity group was set up, and the theme of the activity was "shorten the time of emergency trauma surgery patients from self-diagnosis to operating room". The causes affecting the time from hospital admission to operating room were analyzed, and countermeasures were drawn up, implemented and reviewed. The time from admission to operation before and after the QCC activity was compared, and the comprehensive quality of QCC group members was evaluated. Results The time from hospital admission to operation decreased from(107. 17±13. 34) minutes to(58. 31±14. 25) minutes(P＜0. 05). Conclusion The implementation of QCC activity can effectively shorten the time from hospital admission to operation, resulting in reduced mortality of patients with severe trauma. (目的 探讨品管圈活动缩短急诊创伤患者自接诊至手术时间的应用效果。方法 成立品管圈活动小组, 确定“缩短紧急创伤手术患者自接诊至手术室时间”为活动主题, 分析影响紧急创伤手术患者自接诊至手术室时间的原因, 拟定对策, 进行对策实施与检讨。比较运用品管圈活动前后急诊创伤患者自接诊至手术时间, 评价圈员综合素质。结果 急诊创伤患者自接诊至手术时间由品管圈活动前的(107. 17±13. 34) min降至品管圈活动后的(58. 31±14. 25)min, 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 05)。结论 实施品管圈活动可有效缩短严重创伤患者自接诊至手术时间, 降低患者死亡风险。)

Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activity in improving the preparedness for hospital discharge among breast cancer patients. Methods The problem-solving QCC method was adopted to understand the present condition and influencing factors of poor preparedness for hospital discharge among breast cancer patients. Targeted interventions were carried out to improve the preparedness for hospital discharge. Results The qualified rate of preparedness for hospital discharge increased from 71. 50% before implementation of QCC activity to 90. 87% after implementation of QCC activity. Conclusion The QCC activity is potentially effective to improve the preparedness for hospital discharge and enhance the self-care ability of breast cancer patients. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities on improving implementation rate of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nursing for ICU patients. Methods A QCC team was established and risk factors of low implementation rate of TCM nursing were analyzed. Targeted measures were carried out for continuous quality improvement. Results The implementation rate of TCM nursing rose form 56. 31% before QCC activities to 86. 63% after QCC activities, with a significant difference (P＜0. 01). Conclusion The QCC activities are potentially effective to improve the implementation rate of TCM nursing for ICU patients. Objective To reduce the incidence of blood return in indwelling needle placement by targeted training based on Quality Control Circle (QCC) activity. Methods By using the quality control circle to accurately analyze the causes of blood return, determine the main factors, formulate corresponding solutions and implement, reduce the incidence of blood return of indwelling needle. Results Through precise "targeted" training, the blood return rate of indwelling needle decreased from 53. 60% to 8. 45%. After the implementation of the activity, the operation procedure of indwelling needle placement became more refined and standardized. Conclusion By using QCC tools to explore the root cause and key factors of blood return, targeted training is effective to improve the professional ability of nurses, reduce the incidence of blood return of indwelling needle placement, and increase transfusion safety. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common clinical malignant tumors, and patients undergoing interventional treatment often experience emotional and physical distress in the postoperative period. This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effects of quality control circle (QCC) intervention on patient wareness of health education and postoperative complications following hepato-cellular carcinoma (HCC) intervention. A systematic search was conducted to identify relevant controlled trials on the impact of QCC on patients' knowledge of health education and complications after HCC intervention. The search was conducted using various online databases from the earliest available date to July 2022. Following inclusion and exclusion criteria, data were analyzed using RevMan 5.3 software, and the heterogeneity of the studies was explored. A total of 120 articles were retrieved, and 11 controlled trials were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Meta-analysis showed that QCC reduced postinterventional fever (OR: 0.41, 95% CI: 0.26, 0.65, P = 0.0002), nausea and vomiting (OR: 0.36, 95% CI: 0.22, 0.58, P < 0.0001), abdominal pain (OR: 0.34, 95% CI: 0.20, 0.56, P < 0.0001), loss of appetite (OR: 0.37, 95% CI: 0.21, 0.68, P = 0.001), improved patient knowledge of health education (OR: 4.84, 95% CI: 3.03, 7.74, P < 0.0001), and increased patient satisfaction with nursing care (OR: 6.63, 95% CI: 4.21, 10.45, P < 0.00001). All differences were statistically significant. QCC after HCC intervention can reduce postoperative fever, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle (QCC)activity on standard prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE)among hospitalized pregnant women. Methods Totally 88 hospitalized pregnant women were recruited in this study, in which 44 cases were hospitalized before implementation of QCC activity and another 44 cases were hospitalized after implementation of QCC activity. The rate of standard VTE prevention, VTE awareness, compliance rate of function exercise, rate of sufficient daily intake of water and satisfaction with nursing service were measures before and after implementation of QCC activity. Results The rate of standard VTE prevention increased from 54. 55%(24/44)before implementation of QCC activity to 81. 82%(36/44)after implementation of QCC activity. Higher score of VTE knowledge assessment, rate of function exercise and sufficient daily intake of water were observed after implementation of QCC activity compared with those before implementation of QCC activity(P＜0. 01). Nursing satisfaction rate was increased significantly after implementation of QCC activity(P＜0. 05). Conclusion The QCC activity is potentially effective to improve hospitalized pregnant women’s awareness and behavior of standard VTE prevention, therefore reducing the risk of VTE during pregnancy. (目的 探讨品管圈活动在提高住院孕产妇静脉血栓栓塞(VTE)规范预防率中的应用效果。方法 选取 2021年1月—6月妇产科收治的88位孕产妇为研究对象, 其中实施品管圈活动前收治44例, 活动开展后收治44例。比较活动前和活动后孕产妇VTE规范预防率、VTE相关知识掌握情况、功能锻炼执行率、每日充足饮水达标率及护理满意度。结果 住院孕产妇VTE规范预防率由活动前的54. 55%(24/44)提高至活动后的81. 82%(36/44)。品管圈活动后, 孕产妇VTE知识掌握情况、功能锻炼执行率、每日充足饮水达标率均高于活动前(P＜0. 01); 住院孕产妇对护理满意度高于活动前(P＜0. 05)。结论 对住院孕产妇开展品管圈活动, 可提升其对VTE相关知识的认知程度, 提高VTE规范预防率, 对降低VTE 发生风险具有积极意义。)

This study aimed to implement QCC interventions to improve the appropriateness of SAP.Methods: A QCC activity team was established to grasp the current situation of SAP in clean surgery procedure, set target, formulate corresponding countermeasures and implement and review them in stages. The plan-do-check-act (PDCA) method was cyclically applied.Results: The appropriateness of antibiotic prophylaxis before (January to December 2020) and after (January to December 2021) the implementation of QCC activities were evaluated based on relevant international and Chinese SAP guidelines. The overall SAP appropriateness was significantly improved from 68.72% before QCC to 93.7% post QCC implementation (P< 0.01). A significant improvement (P< 0.05) was also determined for each category: selection (from 78.82% to 96.06%), duration (from 90.15% to 96.46%), indication (from 94.09% to 97.64%), timing of first dose (from 96.55% to 99.21%), antimicrobial usage (from 96.8% to 99.41%), re-dosing of antimicrobial (from 96.55% to 99.21%).Conclusion: Implementation of a QCC program can optimize the use of antibiotics and improve the appropriateness of SAP and is of practical importance to their standardization.Keywords: surgical antimicrobial prophylaxis, quality control circle, appropriateness

Correct usage and maintenance of the enteral nutrition feeding pump system is always a challenge in nutrition support for patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). However, there are few studies on the sustained accuracy improvement of the enteral nutrition feeding system in discharged CRC patients. Here, we established a seven-month quality control circle (QCC) activity with the theme of improving the performance of home enteral feeding pumps (EFP) and examined the effect of QCC activity on the nutritional state and quality of life in discharged CRC patients. We enrolled 100 discharged CRC patients treated with home enteral nutrition from Zhejiang Cancer Hospital between March 2020 and December 2021. The patients were randomly split into two research groups: one participated in the QCC activity (n = 50) and the other did not (n = 50). QCC analysis indicated that the top 3 causes of EFP inaccurate usage are the simple and boring contents of training, various types of pumps, no examination rules, and lack of management. Objective To investigate the value of quality control circle (QCC)activities in reducing the incidence of adverse factors for rapid recovery after surgical treatment for laryngeal cancer. Methods A convenient sample of 35 patients with surgical treatment for laryngeal cancer were selected as the control group, another 28 patients were recruited as the observation group. The quality control circle(QCC) activity group was set up by the medical and nursing integration. Based on the clinical practice, the adverse factors affecting the rapid recovery of laryngeal cancer patients were found, analyzed and improved through the QCC activities, and the effect analysis was carried out. Results Quality evaluation had been taken 225 times in the control group and 224 times in the observation group , respectively. The incidence of adverse factors affecting the rapid recovery of patients with laryngeal cancer decreased from 46. 67% (105/225)to 11. 61%(26/224), with a target achievement ratio of 126. 56%. Shorter length of hospital stay and lower cost of hospitalization were found in the observation group than those in the control group (P＜0. 05). Conclusion The QCC activity an effective management tool for reducing the incidence of adverse factors in rapid recovery of laryngeal cancer patients, promoting medical and nursing cooperation, optimizing clinical pathways, improving the quality of medical care, shortening the length of hospitalization and reducing medical costs. Salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa powder coating logam di Jawa Timur adalah PT. ACI. Konsumen akan melakukan komplain jika terdapat cacat pada produknya. Saat bagian produksi memproses powder coating ditemukan adanya defect pada hasil coating karena faktor internal dan eksternal sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan untuk memenuhi standar kualitas yang ditetapkan pelanggan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi terhadap penyebab defect hasil coating serta menganalisis penyebab defect dan memberi usulan perbaikan-perbaikan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkannya metode tahapan- tahapan QCC (Quality Control Circle) dan Seven QC Tools. Dari pengumpulan data terdapat beberapa defect yaitu permukaan kasar, permukaan gelombang, warna belang dan orange peel. Dari analisa ditemukan faktor penyebab terjadinya defect yaitu faktor manusia, bahan baku, mesin, dan metode. Dari perbaikan-perbaikan yang dilakukan diperoleh penurunan jumlah cacat dari 17 menjadi 6 per minggu dengan cacat terbesar adalah cacat permukaan kasar dan cacat permukaan gelombang.

Objective To explore the application effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities in improvement of knowledge and practice skills for psychological care in members of a nursing team. Methods From June to October, 2021, a QCC group was established to carry out QCC activities for improving the psychological nursing knowledge and skills on the basis of the principle of spontaneity and voluntariness. The implementation procedure consisted of theme selection, activity plan formulation, current situation grasping, goal setting, issue analysis, countermeasures formulation, countermeasure implementation and review, and results presentation. Results The passing rate of theoretical and practical tests increased from 89. 55%(60/67)before implementation of QCC to 98. 51%(66/67)after implementation of QCC. The problem-solving skills, communication and coordination ability and sense of responsibility has been greatly improved. Conclusion QCC is an effective tool in improving nursing team members’ knowledge and skills for psychological care, as well as comprehensive quality. It plays a fundamental role in the practice of psychological care in the clinical setting. Objective To explore the application effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities in improving the implementation rate of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) prevention in patients undergoing urological surgery. Methods From July 2020 to December 2020, 125 cases of urology surgery patients with lack of management of DVT were investigated. The causes were analyzed according to the investigation results, and the improvement plan was established and implemented based on evidence. The implementation condition of DVT prevention in another 125 cases of urology surgery patients was evaluated after QCC activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of products in furniture manufacturing companies, in fact, there are always defective products in the production process in the field. In order to achieve a quality final result, continuous planning and control must be carried out using the Quality Control Circle method. The sample taken in this study is the monthly report data available at PT Hema Medhajaya for the 2017-2019 period with a total sample size of 36. The statistical method used is multiple linear regression with calculations through SPSS version 25. The results of this study show that Production Quality Planning has a coefficient value. ß regression of -0.189 with a tcount of -23.988 and a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that production quality planning has a negative and significant effect on the final product. And quality control has a positive and significant effect on the final product result marked with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05 and a regression coefficient value ß2 of 2.493. the results of the simultaneous significance test (Test F) in this study. The results obtained are in the form of Fcount of 323,988 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Every individual employee contributes to the success (or failure) of company business. So, the personnel management goal is to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the workforce. But without a clear understanding of which factors influence employee performance, it won't be easy to sustain success. This research aims to analyze the influence of the quality control circle on employee performance and productivity with employee motivation as the mediator. A quality circle or quality control circle is a group of workers who meet regularly to identify, analyze and solve work-related problems. The research sample are the 50 PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor company's employees. The authors use a quantitative approach based on analytical methods using structural equation modelling (SEM). Data for this study were collected using a questionnaire and then processed with smartPLS application. This research indicates that the quality control circle positively and significantly affects employee motivation, productivity, and performance. Employee motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, employee motivation has no positive and significant impact on employee productivity. The mediation results show that motivation cannot mediate the effect of the quality control circle on employee performance and productivity. This research showed that employee performance and employee motivation could be improved by increasing the quality control circle activities' quality.

Objective To explore the value of quality control circle (QCC) activities in reducing the rate of defects in security management of medical oxygen supply system. Methods A QCC group was setup, and QCC tools were adopted to determine the theme of activities as reducing the rate of defects in security management of medical oxygen supply system. The current situation and problems in security management was investigated and analyzed. The root causes were indentified, and countermeasures were implemented and reviewed. Objective To improve the accuracy of the records of input and output amount of clinical nurses through quality control circle(QCC) activities. Methods According to the ten steps of the QCC theory, the subject selection, the current situation, the goal setting, the cause analysis, the implementation of the strategy and the confirmation of the effect were carried out. Clinical department that participated in the QCC of input and output amount from October 14, 2019 to December 25, 2020 were selected as the research object, and inaccurate items of input and output amount that clinical nurses recorded were analyzed. By using the fish bone diagram and other quality control tools, reasons that lead to inaccurate of input and output amount records were determined, followed by the implementation of strategies and effect evaluation. Results Through the activities of QCC, the accuracy of input and output amount was improved from 64. 85% to 89. 13%. Conclusion Application of QCC activities is potentially effective to improve the accuracy of input and output amount, and enhance the team cohesion of the participants and the ability to analyze and solve problem. Objective To evaluate the quality control circle (QCC) activities in reducing the incidence of aspiration in patients with dysphagia after stroke. Methods A QCC group was set up, and a series of activities based on QCC theory were carried out including theme identification, plan making, status investigation, factor analysis, countermeasures and implementation. An analysis of aspiration condition in 80 patients with dysphagia after stroke was carried out after implementation of QCC activities (between April and October 2019), and the incidence of aspiration was compared with that of 80 patients recruited before implementation of QCC activities (between February and June 2017). Results The incidence of aspiration decreased from 25. 00%(20/80)to 5. 00%(4/80), with a target achievement ratio of113. 64 and progress ratio of 80. 00%. Nurses' comprehensive ability was enhanced after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion The QCC is effective to reduce the incidence of aspiration in patients with dysphagia after stroke. Objective To ensure the safety of both doctors and patients，we should strengthen the management of infection control in the medical observation isolation area for overseas tourists，and continuously improve the compliance rate of infection control prevention measures. Methods In Mar 2020，the domestic COVID-19 was under control，however the overseas epidemic began to spread. As a designated screening hospital for overseas tourists，to prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infections caused by imported cases from abroad，the department carried out quality control prevention circle activities with the theme of“improving the compliance rate of infection control and prevention measures for staff in the medical observation and isolation area of overseas passengers”and determined four countermeasures implementation plans based on current situation grasp，goal setting，cause analysis and countermeasure formulation. Results Compared before and after the implementation of QCC，the compliance rate of the prevention measures of the staff in the medical observation and quarantine area for overseas passengers was increased from 45.08% to 91.54%，and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). The target achievement rate was 84.43%，and the progress rate was 108.85%. Conclusion The quality control circle activities can improve the compliance rate of infection control and prevention measures for staff in the medical observation quarantine area for overseas tourists，thereby ensuring the safety of patients and staff. Objective To evaluate the quality control circle (QCC) activities in improvement of the correct rate of postoperative respiratory muscle training in patients undergoing surgery for lung cancer. Methods A QCC group was set up, and a series of activities based on QCC theory were carried out including theme identification, plan making, status investigation, factor analysis, countermeasures and implementation. Results The correct rate of postoperative respiratory muscle training increased from 53. 33% to 79. 17%, with a target achievement ratio of 104. 87% and progress ratio of 48. 6%. Nurses' comprehensive ability were enhanced after implementation of QCC activities. Conclusion The QCC is effective to improve of the correct rate of postoperative respiratory muscle training and quality of nursing for patients undergoing surgery for lung cancer. Objective To investigate the application value of quality control circle (QCC)with health education pathway and teach-back method in reducing the incidence of constipation after transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). Methods A QCC group was set up and theme of QCC activity was to reduce the incidence of constipation after TURP. Influencing factors were analysis based on literature review and cross-sectional study, and key issues and related countermeasures to process improvement were established. The health education pathway and teach-back method were adopted in the QCC, and incidence of constipation before and after implementation of QCC was compared. Results The incidence of constipation dropped from 68. 75%(33/48)before QCC to 18. 75%(9/48)after QCC, with a significant difference(P＜0. 05). Conclusion Based on the education pathway of preventing constipation after TURP, the health education using the teach-back method is effective to reduce the incidence of constipation after TURP and relieve postoperative pain of patients. Objective To explore the effect of Quality Control Circle(QCC) activities on reducing the incidence of heart failure among peritoneal dialysis(PD) patients. Methods A QCC team was established, with the activity theme of “reducing incidence of heart failure on PD patients”, On-site investigation, goal setting, formulating and countermeasures were carried out. Results The incidence of heart failure dropped from 13. 18% (29/220)before QCC management to 6. 78%(24/354) after QCC management. Conclusion QCC management is effective to reduce the risk of heart failure among PD patients. Objective: To optimize the traditional Chinese medicine prescription disposal system by quality control circle, shorten the prescription processing time, reduce the problems encountered in the prescription disposal process, so as to improve the work efficiency and quality of pharmaceutical care. Methods: The quality control circle activities were conducted, the status quo was investigated, and activity procedures were developed by the PDCA cycle. The traditional Chinese medicine prescription disposal system was optimized, the prescription registration and extraction process was simplified, the number of prescription disposal problems was decreased, and standard operation procedures were improved. Results and Condusion: Before and after the quality control circle activities, the frequency rates of prescription registration problems were respectively 18.00 and 8.25 times per week, and those of prescription extraction and transmission problems were respectively 13.75 and 3.75 times per week, and the target fulfilment rate was 115.2眺.Following the quality control circle activities, the prescription disposal was optimized with the same work load, and work efficiency was significantly improved. A total of 1913 participating QCCs implemented by 34,023 hospital staff from 915 hospitals across 31 provinces and municipalities were included in this study to analyse the characteristics of QCC implementation status in mainland China, using descriptive analyses.Results: The majority of participating QCCs came from central and eastern hospitals. Most of the QCCs were carried out in tertiary hospitals and focused on themes of safety and patient care. The QCC has been modified in terms of its classification, implementation process, participation mechanism, and ways of dissemination. A series of promotion strategies have been made to promote the implementation of QCCs nationwide, including establishing a professional promotion organization, developing standardized training programmes, and organizing QCC academic events.Conclusion: After years of promotion, QCCs are widely used in hospitals and have been modified to fit the practice of healthcare institutions. Objective: To analyse and continually improve existing issues in the quality improvement process of medical linear accelerators (LINACs) and enhance the quality control management of LINACs., Methods: Data were collected from eight LINACs (sourced from three manufacturers) at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital using Excel diaries between January 2019 and December 2020. The data description and analysis were performed using the analytic hierarchy process, SPSSAU and Excel software, and mean-time-to-repair (MTTR)/mean-time-between-failure (MTBF) metrics. Continuous quality improvement was executed using the quality control circle (QCC) quality management method., Results: After quality improvement, the risk frequency of 'LINAC down' events decreased by 43.63% and downtime was reduced by 40.45%. The weight of downtime risk improved by 73.69%. The MTTR recovery value increased by 31.90%, and MTBF reliability increased by 2.97 h. The simulation results demonstrated that the proposed quality improvement measures could effectively decrease the frequency and duration of downtimes, consequently extending the normal operational time of LINACs., Conclusion: Transitioning from instant repair to preventative maintenance can enhance the operational efficiency of equipment and yield economic benefits for hospitals. OBJECTIVE: Using quality control circle management tools to reduce the number of irrational prescriptions and improve the quality of prescriptions in outpatient. METHODS: Research data came from a total of 714 458 outpatient prescriptions in the People’ s Hospital of Banan District in Chongqing from Jan. to Oct. 2020,of which 5 482 were irrational prescriptions. Quality control circle activity was carried out in outpatient pharmacy to screen out irrational outpatient prescriptions in the former 5 months of the activity( Jan. to May 2020) and conduct status investigation, cause analysis, formulating and implementation of countermeasures to solve the problems, and performed comparative analysis on the changes of the number of irrational prescriptions in outpatient before and after the quality control circle activity. RESULTS: In the later 5 months of the quality control circle activity(Jun. to Oct. 2020),the incidence of irrational outpatient prescriptions had decreased from 28. 42 prescriptions/ d in the former 5 months of the quality control circle activity( Jan. to May 2020) to 8. 13 prescriptions/ d,with the amplitude was 71. 39%,and the number of irrational prescriptions was significantly reduced. CONCLUSIONS: The application of quality control circle management methods can effectively reduce the irrational rate of outpatient prescriptions,promote rational drug application in hospital and ensure the safety of patients’ medication. 【摘要】 目的 探讨品管圈活动在降低卒中患者住院期间便秘发生率中的应用及维持效果。 方法 在山东大学附属省立医院神经内科开展品管圈活动，针对神经内科住院卒中患者便秘发生率高的原因进行查检、分析及改进，改进措施实施一个月后，对实施品管圈活动前后卒中患者便秘发生率进行比较。半年后将改善措施推广至保健神经内科，比较实施推广一个月后保健神经内科卒中患者便秘发生率的变化。 结果 改善前调查神经内科170例缺血性卒中患者，改善后调查142例缺血性卒中患者，神经内科卒中患者便秘发生率由改善前的67.64%降低到改善后的27.46%，差异有统计学意义（χ2=49.98，P

As one manufacturing industry which has engaged in the textile industry and produced zippers, the painting process at zipped production has a number of problems, as on zipper sticks to each other, uneven paint, etc. In this discussion, the improvements that will be made are related to the painting process. Quality Control Circle (QCC) method is applied to reflect the support of the continuous improvement program in the company. The painting process is the finishing process of a zipper that serves as a coating to be resistant to corrosion and enhance the zipper appearance. The results of the study, it is found the main problem in the zipper painting process, which are Abbeku or sticking. This is due to the factors, such as machinery, methods, and materials. Of the three factors, there is one of the biggest problem factors, namely the position of non-standard spray gun. The focus of the improvement that will be made is the modification of the spraygun holder so that the fix position does not change. The results after an improvement in the modification of the spray gun holder are Abbeku (sticking) loss on the painting production which is originally 23 lots. As a conclusion, it eliminates the biggest loss factor in the painting process, replaced the position of the spraygun that is not fixed.
