Bu araştırma bir eğitim araştırma hastanesinde ameliyathanede steril hemşire olarak çalışan hemşirelerin profesyonel değerlerinin mesleki otonomilerine etkilerini ve ilişkili faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma Şubat 2021- Kasım 2021 tarihleri arasında 75 hemşirenin gönüllü katılımı ile yapılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması amacıyla; Hemşire Tanılama Formu, Hemşirelerin Profesyonel Değerleri Ölçeği (HPDÖ) ve Hemşirelik Aktivite Ölçeği (HAÖ) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSSv22.0 programında yüzdelik dağılımlar, ortalamalar, Shapiro Wilk testi, Mann Whitney U testi, t testi, Cronbach alfa (α) ve Spearman kolerasyon analizi kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Spearman sıra korelasyon katsayısı ile incelenmiştir. İstatistiksel anlamlılık sınırı p=0,05 olarak kabul edildi. Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerin; yaş ortalaması 39, meslekte çalışma yıl ortalaması 15, ameliyathanede çalışma yıl ortalaması 10 olarak bulunmuştur. Hemşirelerin %93,3’ü kadın, %65,3’ü evli ve %69,3’ünün lisans mezunu olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca hemşirelerin %65,3’ü mesleği isteyerek seçtiğini ifade ederken, %42,7’si de meslekle ilgili profesyonel eğitim aldığını dile getirmiştir. HPDÖ toplam ölçek puanı 122,2±18,9 yüksek düzeyde bulunmuş ve Cronbach alfa katsayısı 0,959 bulunarak ölçeğin güvenilirliği saptanmıştır. HAÖ toplam ölçek puanı 91 düşük düzeyde otonom olarak hesaplanırken Cronbach alfa katsayısı 0,845 oranında güvenilir bulunmuştur. HPDÖ Otonomi alt ölçek toplam puanı ile HAÖ arasından aynı yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Çalışmada HPDÖ ve HAÖ ülkemizde kullanımının güvenirliği saptanmıştır. Hemşirelerin profesyonel değerlerinin yurtdışı kaynaklarla benzer olduğu görülmüştür. Profesyonel otonomi değeri yüksek olan hemşirelerin mesleki otonomlarını da yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Buna göre; ülkemizde hemşirelerin profesyonel değerlerinin ve mesleki otonomlarının artırılması için sürekli eğitimlerin sağlanması ve motive edici yaklaşımların olması, bu doğrultuda araştırmaların sağlanması önerilmektedir. This research was carried out to determine the effect of the professional values of nurses working as sterile nurses in the operating room in a training and research hospital on their professional autonomy and related factors. The research was carried out with the voluntary particiation of 75 nurses between February 2021 and November 2021. For the purpose of collecting data; Nurse Identification Form, Nurses’ Professional Values Scale (HPDS) and Nursing Activity Scale (HAS) were used. The collected data were evaluted by using percentage distributions, Shapiro Wilk test, Mann Whitney U test, T test, Cronbach alpha and Spearman correlation analysis on the programme SPSSv22.0. The border of statistical significance was regarded as p=0,05. The nurses participating in the study; the average age was 39, the average of working years in the profession was 15 and the average of working years in the operating room was 10. It was determined that %93,3 of the nurses were women, %65,3 were married and %69,3 were undergraduate graduates. In addition, %65,3 of the nurses stated that they chose the profession voluntarily, while %42,7 stated that they received professional training related to the profession. The HPDS total scale score was found to be 122,2±18,9 high and the reliability of the scale was determined by the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0,959. While the HAS total scale score was calculated as 91 at a low level of autonomy, the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was found to be reliable at the rate of 0,845. A significant correlation was found between HPDS Autonomy subscale total score and HAS in the same direction. In the study, the reliability of the use of HPDS and HAS in our country was determined. It has been observed that professional values of nurses are similar to those of foreing sources. It is seen that the professional autonomy of nurses with high professional autonomy value is also high. According to this; In order to increase the professional values and professional autonomy of nurses in our country, it is recommended to provide continuous training and to have motivating approaches and to provide researches in this direction.

Bu araştırma, yoğun bakım ünitelerinde görevli hemşirelerin profesyonelliğe ilişkin davranışlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni İstanbul ili Avrupa bölgesinde yer alan toplam 470 yataklı, 133 yataklı yoğun bakım ünitelerine sahip bir üniversite hastanesinin yoğun bakım ünitelerinde görev yapan hemşirelerden oluşturuldu (N=138). Araştırmada örneklem yöntemi kullanılmadan, evrenin tümüne ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 138 kişiden elde edildi (N=138). Veriler, 01/10/2014-01/12/2014 tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, `Hemşirelikte Profesyonelliğe İlişkin Davranışsal Envanter` kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin değerlendirilmesinde IBM SPSS Statistics 20 istatistik paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin tanımlayıcı istatistikleri olarak yüzde değerler, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, minimum ve maksimum değerleri verilmiştir. Verileri yorumlamak için Shapiro-Wilk, Kruskal Wallis H, Mann Whitney U testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin %80.4' ünün 18-25 yaş arasında, %58.0' ının sağlık meslek lisesi mezunu, %79.0' ının 1-5 yıl arasında deneyim sahibi olduğu görülmüştür. Hemşirelerin toplam profesyonellik puan ortalaması (5.97±3.83) olup, toplam 27 puan üzerinde en düşük 0.00, en yüksek 16.50 puan aldıkları görülmüştür. Araştırma sonuçları incelendiğinde yaş ve çalışma süresi arttıkça profesyonelliğin arttığı görülmüştür. Kadın hemşirelerin daha profesyonel davrandıkları belirtilmiştir. Uzun Süre kapalı alan (yoğun bakım ve ameliyathane) deneyimi olan hemşirelerin çalışma şartlarının olumsuz olması, çok fazla iş yükünün olması ve hasta bakımında primer sorumlu olunması motivasyonu olumsuz etkilemesinden kaynaklı profesyonelliği de olumsuz etkilediği gözlemlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada en çok dikkat çeken sonuç eğitim kısmında olmuştur. Lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimi almış hemşirelerin daha çok profesyonel davrandığı saptanmıştır. Okunan makale sayısı da profesyonellik puanını doğru orantılı etkilemiştir. Elde edilen bu bilgiler doğrultusunda hemşirelikte profesyonellik davranışlarına ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur. This study planned to determined behavior for the professionalism of nurses in intensive care units. Consisted of nurses working in the intensive care unit of an university hospital which has 133 beds and totally 470 servis beds in Europen region of İstanbul (N=138). We didn't use satellite method but we aimed to reach all of the university. Data were taken from 138 nurses accepted to joın the study between 1/10/2014-1/12/2014 (N=138). We used `A Behavioral Inventory for Professionalism in Nursing` method in collecting data. We used IBM SPSS statistics 20 methods in evalvating research data. Descriptive statistics of data are given in percent valve, mean valve, standart deviotion minimum and maximum valves. Shapiro-Wilk, Kruskal Wallis H, Mann Whitney U tests are used to interpret results of the study.In addition, joined to this survey who nurses 80.4 % percent between 18-25 years old, 58.0 % of the health profession gradvated, 79.0 % percent has been shown to have experience about nurses. The total mean score of nurses (5.97±3.83) about professionalism. What is more, a total of above 27 points is the most lower point is 0.00 and it has been shomn to get highest point of 16.50. We saw that professionalism were increased with working time period and pemole nurses behove more professionally with exprience. Working in closed are a such as intensive care unit and operating room, negative working conditions, hingwork loud, having primary respensibilities of patients were the negative factors affecting professionilty of nurses. The most important result of this study werw in aducational status of the workers. It is observed that license education increases Professional behaviour. Of the nurses abo it is seen that Professional point is increased with articles read. Finally, obtain of this information through these suggestions were made regarding the behavior of professionalism in nursing. 177

Nurses are the backbone of the health care system in South Africa and spend more time with patients than any other member of the health care team. They are required to behave in a professional manner at all times. Unfortunately, professionalism within the nursing profession appears to be deteriorating. Nursing students entering the profession are at risk of assimilating unprofessional behaviour from their colleagues and inevitably, unprofessional behaviour negatively affects service delivery and the quality of patient care. Nurse educators play a key role in facilitating professional socialisation in students to enable them to mould into the nursing profession as they integrate the fundamental norms, values and standards governing the nursing profession. Unfortunately the concept of professionalism is poorly defined and might interfere with this education and assessment of professional socialisation of nursing students. The aim of this study was to define professionalism within the nursing profession using a qualitative, explorative, descriptive and contextual research design to obtain an in-depth understanding of the concept of professionalism. The concept of professionalism was analysed in-depth using the concept analysis method of Walker and Avant (2011), based on Wilson‟s work (1963). A clearer meaning of professionalism was obtained when the ordinary and professional meaning of the concept was examined by using a systematic way to search the literature. Qualitative content analysis resulted in the key attributes of the concept of professionalism being identified and extracted. Thematic analysis contributed to a further reduction of the data into categories of similar attributes, followed by quantitative content analysis where the data was classified in terms of frequency to identify meanings that are most often associated with the concept. Thereafter a connotative definition was formulated. The clarification of the meaning of professionalism was obtained by using model, contrary and borderline cases. The findings reveal many definitions on professionalism with overlapping defining characteristics, however when recognised attributes of professionalism were grouped together an exact definition of professionalism was not easy to obtain. The concept of professionalism was defined in the context of the nursing profession and the aim of the study was effectively achieved.
