В статье рассматриваются проблемы мотивации студентов высшей школы, факторы, определяющие выбор образовательной траектории индивидом, а также инструменты управления мотивацией обучающихся как условие профессиональной самоидентификации и успешной карьерной ориентации. The article describes the problems of motivation of higher school students. The material includes a description of the factors that determine the choice of an individual's educational trajectory. The article defines the tools for managing students ' motivation, which is considered as a condition for professional self-identification and successful career orientation.

Рассматривается процесс обучения чтению англоязычных юридических текстов в образовательных организациях системы МВД России, который состоит в ориентации на профессиональные потребности будущих сотрудников органов внутренних дел. Обращение к данной теме обусловлено тем, что процесс обучения иностранному языку связан с формированием способности создавать и интерпретировать информацию на иностранном языке в процессе осуществления профессиональной деятельности, с необходимостью читать специальную литературу и документы, общаться с зарубежными коллегами на профессиональные темы. Особое внимание уделяется вопросам учета особенностей юридического текста. Указываются основные приемы снятия трудностей при работе с англоязычной юридической литературой, например путем создания банка текстового материала и кратких комментариев по отдельным терминам и понятиям.

Motivasyon, bir bireyin harekete geçmesini sağlayan itici bir güçtür. Bu gücün ortaya çıkmasını sağlayan birçok faktör bulunmaktadır. Motivasyonu olumlu veya olumsuz yönde etkileyen faktörlerin varlığı ise benliğimizin oluşmasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Motivasyon kaynakları, hedeflerimize ulaşmak için ihtiyaç duyduğumuz istek ve arzuyu hissetmemizi sağlar. Motivasyonumuzu düşüren durumlar ise ulaşmak istediğimiz hedefe giden yolda önümüze çıkan engelleri temsil etmektedir. Bu çalışmada Fransızca öğretmen adaylarının mesleklerini icra etmeden önce motivasyon durumlarını etkileyen faktörlerin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, Marmara Üniversitesi Fransızca Öğretmenliği bölümü son sınıf öğrencilerini kapsayan nitel bir çalışmadır. Öğretmen adaylarının içsel- dışsal motivasyonlarını artıran ve azaltan durumların tespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada internette nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden e-posta yoluyla veri toplama aracı kullanılmıştır. 10 öğretmen adayının oluşturduğu çalışma grubunun motivasyonunu artıran ve azaltan içsel-dışsal durumlar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Katılımcıların ifadelerine göre motivasyonel durumların gruplandırıldığı çalışma sonucunda çıkan yargıların sıklığına göre frekans değerleri verilmiştir.--------------------Motivation is the individual driving force for to take action. There are many factors that can give rise to this power. The presence of factors that affect motivation positively or negatively plays an important role in the formation of ourself. The sources of motivation make us feel the desire and desire we need to achieve our goals. On the other hand, situations that disrupt our motivation represent the obstacles that come before us on the way to the target we want to achieve. In this study, the effect of motivation on prospective teachers was investigated. Prospective teachers; It is aimed to determine the factors that affect motivation status before performing their profession.In this research, it is a qualitative study covering the last year students of Marmara University French Language Teaching department. In this study, case science pattern was used. It is aimed to identify situations that increase and disrupt the internal and external motivations of teacher candidates. In this study, e-mail data collection tool was used on qualitative research methods on the internet. The questions prepared before the interview showed flexibility according to the answers of the participants. In the research method which was composed of 10 pre-service teachers of the study group, internal-exogenous situations were determined which increased and disrupted the motivation of the pre-service teachers. Frequency values were given according to the frequency of the judgements of the study in which the motivational situations were grouped according to the expressions of the participants.

AmaçAraştırmanın amacı; Toplum Ruh Sağlığı Merkezinde tedavi gören şizofreni hastalarının ihtiyaçlarının ne kadarının karşılanmadığını saptamak ve karşılanmış ya da karşılanmamış ihtiyaçlarla, toplumsal işlevsellik, öznel iyileşme duygusu ve sosyo-demografik değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir.YöntemDerince ve Halıdere Toplum Ruh Sağlığı merkezlerinde tedavi gören şizofreni tanısı almış 115 hastadan Demografik Bilgi Formu, Toplumsal İşlevselliği Değerlendirme Ölçeği (TİDÖ), Öznel İyileşmeyi Değerlendirme Ölçeği (ÖzİDÖ), Camberwell İhtiyaç Değerlendirme Kısa Ölçeği (CİDKÖ) kullanılarak veriler toplandı.BulgularŞizofreni hastalarının ihtiyaçlarının toplam sayısı ortalama 14,39±3,75 iken karşılanmayan ihtiyaçların ortalama sayısının 6,66±3,35 olduğu görülmüştür. Karşılanan ihtiyaçların ortalama sayısı ise, 7,71±3,50 olarak bulunmuştur. Karşılanmayan ihtiyaçlarının sayısının; hastalık başlangıç yaşı, TRSM geliş süresi, gelir, ÖzİDÖ ve TİDÖ toplam puanları ile negatif yönde anlamlı ilişki gösterdiği görüldü.SonuçŞizofreni hastalarının ihtiyaçlarının ilaçla sınırlı olmadığı çok daha kapsamlı ihtiyaçlara sahip oldukları, kimi ihtiyaçlar karşılanırken kimi ihtiyaçların karşılanamadığı görüldü. Toplum Ruh Sağlığı Merkezleri gibi toplum temelli yaklaşımların arttırılması ile şizofreni gibi süreğen hastalığa sahip bireylerin topluma katılımının arttırılması ve ihtiyaçların sayısının azaltılması noktasında önemli olacaktır.Anahtar Sözcükler: Karşılanmayan İhtiyaçlar, İhtiyaç Analizi, Şizofreni ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to determine how much the needs of the schizophrenic patient streated at the Community Mental Health Center were met and to examine the relationship between social functioning, subjective recovery and socio–demographic variables.MethodThe data were collected by using Demographic Information Form, Social Functioning Assessment Scale (SFAS), Subjective Recovery Assessment Scale (SubRAS) and Camberwell Assessment of Needs (CAN) which were given to 115 schizophrenia patients in treatment centers in Derince and Halıdere Community Mental Health Centers (CMHC).ResultsWhile the total number of total needs of schizophrenia patients was 14.39 ± 3.75, the average number of unmet needs was 6.66 ± 3.35. The average number of met needs was found to be as 7.71 ± 3.50. The number of unmet needs showed significantly negative relationship with the age at on set of the disease, coming time to CMH and total scores of SFAS and SubRAS scales.ConclusionsIt was seen that the needs of schizophrenic patients were not limited to drugs, they had much more comprehensive needs, while some needs met, some of them could not be met. It will be important to increase community-based approaches like community mental health centers to increase the participation of individuals with chronic diseases like schizophrenia to the community and to reduce the number of needs.Key Words: Unmet needs, Need Analyze, Schizophrenia 63

Son 20 yıl boyunca, Milli Eğitim bünyesinde çalışan öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimleri ve sürekli mesleki gelişim terimi teknoloji, bilim, eğitim gibi alanlardaki değişimlerle birlikte önem kazanmıştır. Bu nedenle öğretmenlerin öğrencilerin beklentilerini ve ihtiyaçlarını karşılayabilmeleri için mesleki yeterliliklerini ve becerilerini aynı zamanda kişisel becerilerini geliştirmeleri beklenilmektedir. Mesleki gelişim süreci, meslektaşlarıyla görüş alışverişi, mesleki alanlarıyla alakalı kişisel okumaları gibi öğretmenlerinin bizzat kendileri yürütebileceği gibi resmi takvimle belirlenmiş seminer ve konferanslar yoluyla Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı da yürütebilmektedir. Hizmet içi eğitimlerin hazırlanmasında ve sürekli mesleki gelişim sağlanabilmesi için MEB'in bünyesinde çalışan öğretmenlerin mesleki ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada MEB bünyesindeki İngilizce öğretmenlerinin mesleki ihtiyaçları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma Türkiye'nin farklı şehirlerinde görev yapan İngilizce öğretmenleriyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlerin yaklaşık yarısı 1 ve 6 yıl arsında tecrübeye sahiplerdir. Veriler 'İngilizce Öğretmenleri İhtiyaç Anketi' kullanılarak toplanmıştı ve IBM SPSS Statistics 22 veri analiz programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçları İngilizce öğretmenlerinin hangi mesleki alanlarda ihtiyaçlarının olduğu ve mesleki ihtiyaçlarında demografik bilgiler açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Sonuçlara göre en fazla ihtiyaç duyulan ilk üç mesleki ihtiyaç alanları sırasıyla 'rehberlik ve özel eğitim bilgisi', 'İngilizce öğretimi alan bilgisi', ve 'öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi'dir.Anahtar Kelimeler; öğretmen mesleki gelişimi, öğretmen yeterliliği, İngilizce öğretmeni etkililiği, İngilizce öğretmenlerinin mesleki ihtiyaçları Throughout the last two decades, in-service teacher professional development and the term of 'continuing professional development (CPD)' gain importance with shifts in several fields such as technology, science, education. Therefore, teachers are expected to improve their professional competence and skills and personal skills in order to meet learners' needs and expectations. The professional development process is carried out by both teachers in an informal way such as sharing experience with colleagues, reading about personal professional development and the Ministry of National Education in a formal way such as conference, seminars. The needs of in-service teachers are important to enhance training or development programs for teachers.This study aims to investigate the professional needs of in-service English language teachers. The study was conducted with 163 in-service EFL teachers from different parts of Turkey. Approximately half of participants have between 1 and 6 years of experience. The data was collected through the instrument 'Questionnaire of the In-service English Language Teachers' Needs'. The data was analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The results were discussed in regard to the questions what professional area EFL teachers have a need and whether there are any significant differences about professional needs in terms of demographic information or not. According to results, the first three of the most highly rated professional needs area are respectively 'counselling and special education knowledge', 'English language teaching knowledge', and 'professional teaching knowledge'. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sigorta sektöründe hizmet içi eğitim uygulamalarının ayrıntılı olarak ortaya konularak, elde edilen veriler ışığında hizmet içi eğitim uygulamalarının iyileştirilmesi için önerilerde bulunmaktır. Bu doğrultuda Sigorta Sektörü'nde sigorta şirketleri bünyesinde sigorta şirketi çalışanları, broker çalışanları, acenteler ve banka çalışanlarına verilen hizmet içi eğitim etkinliğinin değerlendirilmesi, hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesi, hizmet içi eğitimlerin yöntemleri ve uygulamalarının neler olduğu incelenmiştir. The purpose of this study is to provide in-service training practices in the insurance sector in detail and to make recommendations for improving in-service training practices in light of the data obtained. In this regard, the insurance company staff on-site insurance companies in Insurance Sector, broker employees, evaluation of the in-service training activities to agents and bank employees, determination of in-service training needs were examined as in-service training methods and practices of what was going on. 89

Tez çalışmasında profesyonel turist rehberlerinin meslek sorunlarını tespit etmek ve bu sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerileri sunmak amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda (a) Profesyonel turist rehberlerinin meslek sorunları nelerdir? ve (b) Profesyonel turist rehberlerinin tespit edilen meslek sorunlarına ilişkin çözüm önerileri nelerdir? şeklinde iki araştırma sorusu geliştirilmiştir.Tez çalışması kapsamında gerçekleştirilen araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak Delphi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, Mart-Nisan 2019 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilen araştırmanın birinci turunda araştırmacının araştırma sorularına cevap bulacağına inandığı 30 kişilik uzman grubu ile araştırmaya başlanmış ve dördüncü tur 19 kişi ile sonuçlandırılmıştır.Delphi yöntemi ile toplanan verilerin analizi neticesinde, profesyonel turist rehberlerinin mesleğin doğasından kaynaklı, seyahat acentaları, konaklama işletmeleri, ulaştırma işletmeleri, müze ve ören yerleri, turistler, meslek örgütleri, meslektaşlar ile yaşanan sorunlar ile diğer meslek sorunlarından oluşan dokuz farklı kategoride toplam 43 meslek sorununun olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu sorunlara ilişkin profesyonel turist rehberleri ile görüşülerek geliştirilen çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda akademik çıktılar ile uygulamaya dönük çıktılar tartışılırken gelecek araştırmalara yönelik önerilerde de bulunulmuştur. In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the vocational problems of professional tourist guides and to offer solutions to these problems. In accordance with this purpose, the main questions of the research can be listed as; (a) What are the vocational problems of professional tourist guides? and (b) What are the solutions of professional tourist guides regarding the identified vocational problems?Delphi method was used as data collection method in the research conducted within the scope of thesis study. In this context, in the first round of the study conducted between March and April 2019, the research was started with a group of 30 experts who was believed that the researcher would find answers to the research questions and the fourth round was concluded with 19 people.As a result of the analysis of the data collected by Delphi method, it has been determined that professional tourist guides have a total of 43 vocational problems in nine different categories consisting of travel agencies, accommodation businesses, transportation businesses, museums and ruins, tourists, professional associations, colleagues and other vocational problems. In addition, professional tourist guides were interviewed and solutions were proposed for these problems. As a result of the research, theoretical and practical implications have been discussed and suggestions for future research have been presented. 179

Сучасні підходи до специфічного викладання англійської мови вимагають постійного вдосконалення, оскільки останні роки відзначається зростаюча глобальна тенденція розвитку комунікації й застосування мов у різних сферах. З одного боку більшість підходів орієнтовані на професійний контекст. З іншого боку проблема полягає в нестачі академічних годин для детального викладання, що є результатом зниження якості і втрати мотивації студентів. У даній роботі розглядається аналіз потреб студентів, необхідність проведення такого аналізу перед початком курсу англійської мови для професійного спрямування. Робота дає літературний огляд типів потреб студентів. The objectives of this study are to define the needs analysis, to review recent research into the importance of needs analysis and to provide a conceptual theoretical framework based on types of needs. In order to achieve the goal, the methods of providing literature review were used: confirmation of the hypothesis and fulfillment of the research tasks, a complex of modern theoretical methods of research and approaches was used: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, systematization, comparison, generalization, which allowed to develop scientific sources, to determine the essence and features of needs analysis, to justify the advantages and shortcomings. This study has reported on the structured definition of needs analysis, presenting different interpretations and componential analysis. This study has also defined the reasons for necessity of providing the needs analysis. The objective of this is to identify the training gap in needs analysis. Furthermore, the literature review has presented the classification of types of needs. They are distinguished as personal, learning and professional. There have been analyzed a number of studies with different structures which have been completed by the authors according to the requirements of time and modern system of ELT. There has been presented the detailed subdivision of target needs into necessities, lacks and wants and more complicated and recent analysis of target needs in the frame of personal and social requirements. Consistent with recent research advocating the identifying needs analysis, our findings indicate that this is a process of defining the training gap between the starting point of where the learners are at present and the target point where they need to be. The process between these two points is called the learning needs, in ESP particularly language competence. Our findings highlight the main identifications of types of needs in the light of personal, learning and professional needs. We also reported on the necessary reasons for using needs analysis in the ESP teaching before designing a course. We are not yet in position to offer the unique classification of needs, which would fit the modern requirements in ESP. This review provides implications for developing the completed questionnaires for identifying the personal, learning and professional needs. Different ways of leaning present one of the main limitations of this study. The definite relationships are present between the types of needs and different models in the educational process. Future work is needed to develop the questionnaire about needs of learners and providing needs analysis in different ways; personal, learning and professional. Современные подходы к специфическому преподавания английского языка требуют постоянного совершенствования, поскольку последние годы отмечается растущая глобальная тенденция развития коммуникации и применения языков в различных сферах. С одной стороны, большинство подходов ориентированы на профессиональный контекст. С другой стороны, проблема заключается в недостатке академических часов для детального преподавания, является результатом снижения качества и потери мотивации студентов. В данной работе рассматривается анализ потребностей студентов, необходимость проведения такого анализа перед началом курса английского языка для профессионального направления. Работа дает литературный обзор типов потребностей студентов.

This study investigates and questions the relation between rational power and social stratification. This investigation is based on an analysis of empirical data collected by means of in-depth interviews done with 35 individuals from 5 different sets of occupational groups and that work in the health care sector as doctors, pharmacists, nurses, pharmacy technician and hospital cleaning staff. The study makes, in light of this empirical and limited data, a critical evaluation of the ability and practical adequacy of the theories of social stratification to explain social stratification in contemporary societies and thus aims at making make a theoretical contribution to providing an alternative explanation of the phenomenon of social stratification in its connection with rational power. By considering rationality as the distinctive feature of modern societies and by taking critical-realist approach to the issue at hand, the study makes an assessment of the adequacy of rational power in its crucial role in forming the relation of individuals to the system of social stratification The main argument of the study is that rational power has no practical adequacy in its claim to form the basis of social stratification based on the occupational requisites but it has an internal relation with the same structure. This internal relation is established and the dominant power of the rational authority exercised through acceptance of this theoretical authority by individuals with regard to the current rational qualifications that vocational system and the system of education requires of the individuals to have in the case of the occupational groups comprised in the study while the past advantages and disadvantages of the individuals are reproduced as structured inequalities under the banner of rational power. So, since rational power may create taxonomic positions, it may also create relations in taxonomic forms in which the positions are rewarded differently with a theoretical internal coherence and consistency under the roof of the rational power. The class relations under the rational power, both separated from the field of production and instead of the contradiction and antagonism between the dominant and the dominated, assumes a form of relationship which arises from the relations of individuals with rational power. On the basis of these empirical observations made about the causal relationships between rational power and the stratification system, the study makes a critical assessment of the practical relevance of contemporary stratification theories and offers a structural and causal explanation of social stratification in connection with practical qualities of rational patterns, professional closure strategies, modern-rational crises, class relations and lifestyle orientations. Tez Orijinallik Raporu………………………………………………………………..215 Bu araştırmada, rasyonel iktidar ile toplumsal tabakalaşmanın ilişkisi sorgulanmaktadır. Araştırmanın somut verileri, sağlık hizmetleri sektöründe tabip, eczacı, hemşire, eczane kalfası (teknikeri) ve hastane temizlik personeli olarak çalışan, 5 farklı meslek grubuna mensup 35 kişiyle yapılan derinlemesine mülakatlardan elde edilen verilere dayanmaktadır. Araştırmada, toplumsal tabakalaşmanın rasyonel iktidarla ilişkisine istinaden, somut ama sınırlı veriler ışığında, toplumsal tabakalaşma kuramlarının günümüz toplumlarındaki tabakalaşma olgusunu açıklama kabiliyetlerinin eleştirel bir değerlendirmesinin yapılması ve tabakalaşma olgusunun açıklanmasına kuramsal bir katkı sağlanması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, akılcılığın modern toplumların mümeyyiz vasfı olduğu kabulünden hareketle, eleştirel realist yaklaşım çerçevesinde rasyonel iktidarın pratik yeterliliği sorgulanmakta ve farklı mesleklere mensup bireylerin rasyonel iktidarla olan ilişkisi değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışmanın temel iddiası, rasyonel iktidarın pratik yeterliliğin bulunmadığı fakat rasyonel iktidarla tabakalaşma yapısının dâhili bir ilişki içerisinde olduğudur. Araştırmanın sonucunda, araştırmaya dâhil edilen meslek grupları itibariyle, mesleki sistem ve eğitim sisteminin hâlihazırdaki rasyonel nitelikleri, rasyonel otoritenin bireyler tarafından da kabul edilmiş baskın iktidarı ve teorik gerçekliğin artan hâkimiyetiyle birlikte, rasyonel iktidarın çatısı altındaki bireylerin geçmiş avantaj ve dezavantajlarının yapılaşmış eşitsizlikler olarak yeniden üretildiği görülmektedir. Bu itibarla, rasyonel iktidar, taksonomik konumlar oluşturabileceği gibi; teorik bir iç bütünlük ve tutarlılıkla, konumların farklı biçimlerde ödüllendirildiği taksonomik ilişki biçimleri de oluşturabilmektedir. Rasyonel iktidarın altındaki sınıf ilişkileri, hem üretim alanından kopmuş, hem de egemen olanlarla bağımlı olanlar arasındaki karşıtlık yerine, bireylerin rasyonel iktidarla ilişkilerinden kaynaklanan bir ilişki hâlini almıştır. Bu kapsamda, çalışmada, bir taraftan çağdaş tabakalaşma kuramlarının önermelerine ilişkin pratik eleştiriler sunulurken, diğer taraftan rasyonel örüntülerin pratik nitelikleri, profesyonel kapanma stratejileri, modern-rasyonel krizler, sınıf ilişkileri ve hayat tarzları yönleriyle birlikte, toplumsal tabakalaşmaya ilişkin yapısal ve nedensel bir açıklama ortaya koyulmaktadır.

The role of the teacher is by far the most important component compared to any other in the whole process of education. Only the trained teachers are supposed to teach at primary and secondary level in the typical system of education in Pakistan. But this is not the case viz-e-viz College and University teachers. Thus this category of teachers cannot be expected to be highly efficient teachers, although they go through a rigorous set of selection criteria before they are offered the teaching positions in their respective educational institutions. The aim of the study is to find out empirically as to what are the teaching and professional needs of the newly inducted university teachers in different faculties at the Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. The study as a corollary recommends that a training course specially tailored for this category of university teachers should be organized at the Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan to optimize their performance as university teachers. The teachers trained through this program are expected to perform better and operate efficiently in all domains of academic activities related to the university.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Düzce ilinde okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine yaptıkları katkının ne olduğunu ortaya çıkarmaktır.Bu çalışma için 28 maddeye sahip olan Likert tipi bir ölçek geliştirilmiştir ve Düzce ilinde rastgele belirlenen ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan öğretmenlere uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın yapıldığı sırada Düzce ili genelinde 3617 öğretmen görev yapmakta iken 725 öğretmenin(tüm öğretmenlerin yaklaşık yüzde 20'si) ölçeği cevaplaması sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine, okul müdürlerinin katkısının ne ve ne düzeyde olduğu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Ölçek geliştirilirken birbirinden farklı iki uygulama yapılmıştır. Birinci uygulamadan elde edilen verilere açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır ve ölçeğin üç boyutlu yapıda olduğu görülmüştür. İkinci uygulama sonucunda ise ölçeğin üç boyutlu yapısı doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile doğrulanmıştır. Bu boyutlar `Doğrudan Destek`, `Dolaylı Destek` ve `Aday Öğretmen` olarak isimlendirilmiştir. Doğrudan destek boyutunda, okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine doğrudan etki eden katkıları ile ilgili Maddeler bulunmaktadır. Dolaylı katkı boyutunda, okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine dolaylı yollardan etki eden katkıları ile ilgili Maddeler bulunmaktadır Aday öğretmen boyutunda ise, okul müdürlerinin aday öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimleri ile ilgili Maddeler bulunmaktadır. Uygulanacak testlerin belirlenmesi için yapılan analizde verilerin normal dağılmadıkları görülmüştür. Bu yüzden verilere Mann Whitney U testi ile birlikte Kruskal-Wallis testleri uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizlere göre öğretmenlerin bakış açısından okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimlerine katkısının anlamlı olarak farklılaştığı tek değişkenin okul türü olduğu görülmüştür. İlkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan okul müdürlerinin öğretmenlerinin mesleki gelişimlerine katkılarının öğretmenlere göre anlamlı olarak farklılaştığı, diğer değişkenlere göre ise (cinsiyet, yaş, kıdem, branş) anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı çalışma neticesinde ortaya konulmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Öğretmen, Okul Müdürü, Mesleki Gelişim, Doğrudan Destek, Dolaylı Destek, Aday Öğretmen The porpose of this study is to reveal what is the school principals contribution to the teacher's professional development in Duzce. A Likert type scale which has 28 items were developed for this study and it was applied to teachers that determined randomly schools in Düzce. 3617 teachers were working during the study in Düzce and 725 teachers –almost 20% of all teachers- answered the scale. The data obtained from this study were analyzed and results interpreted. With this study what and what level of principals contribution to the teacher's professional development has tried to put forward. While the scale development two administrations were made different from each other. Exploratory factor analysis was conducted on data obtained from the first administration and as a result of analysis it was found that scale has three factor. After second administration the three-factor structure of scale was confirmed with confirmatory factor analysis. These factors was called `Direct Support`, `Indirect support` and `Prospective Teachers`. There are sentences about principals direct contribution to the teacher's Professional development in direct support factor. There are sentences about principals indirect contribution to the teacher's Professional development in indirect support factor. Also there are sentences about principals contribution to the prospective teacher's Professional development in prospective teachers factor. It was found that data shown non-normal distribution before to choose which tests to apply. So Mann Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were applied to test. According to the analysis a significant difference was detecdet in the variable type of school. Bu araştırma, Ticaret Meslek Liselerinin Büro Yönetimi ve Sekreterlik programlarında okuyan öğrencilerin yeterliliklerinin sektör ihtiyacını karşılama düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, İstanbul İli Fatih İlçesindeki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı Ticaret Meslek Liseleri çalışmanın uygulama alanı olmuştur. Bu liselerdeki Büro Yönetimi ve Sekreterlik Programları'nda okuyan öğrencilerin staj yaptığı işletmelerin yöneticileri araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada evrenin tümüne ulaşılması hedeflendiğinden örneklem alınmamıştır. Araştırmada problemi açıklamaya yönelik olarak Büro Yönetimi ve Sekreterlik Programları'nda okuyan öğrencilerin çalıştığı 63 iş yeri yöneticilerinin kazandırdığı yeterliliklerin düzeyleri, anket sorularına verilen cevaplardan elde edilen verilerle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada öğrencilerin yeterlilikleri ve bu yeterliliklerin sektör ihtiyacını karşılama düzeyi incelenmiştir. Öğrencilerin öğrendiklerini uyguladıkları iş yeri yöneticileri, sorumlu müdürler ile anket yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS 20.0 (Statistical Packagefort he Social Sciences) programı ile yapılmıştır.Araştırmanın sonucunda iş yeri yöneticilerinin demografik özellikler ile büro yönetimi ve sekreterlik bölümü mezunu öğrencilerden beklentileri ve bunları karşılama düzeyi araştırılmıştır.Yöneticilerin ankette belirtilen yeterliklere ilişkin algılamalarında genel puanlar ve tüm alt boyutlarda aritmetik ortalamaların madde sayısına bölündüğünde katılıyorum düzeyinde olduğu görülmüştür.Yöneticilerin cinsiyetlerine, yaşlarına, görev durumuna, hizmet süresine, çalıştıkları sektör durumuna göre gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılık görülmezken eğitim durumlarına göre sonucunda grupların aritmetik ortalamaları arasındaki farklılık büro işleri ve kişisel beceriler alt boyutunda anlamlı bulunurken toplam ölçek ve teknik beceriler alt boyutlarında anlamlı bulunmamıştır. This study was held in the Vocational Trade High Schools of the Ministry of National Education in Fatih district of İstanbul. The managers of the students' internship institutions participated in this study. All the managers of the internship institutions of the Office Management and Secretary-ship Department in the Vocational Trade High Schools students in the Fatih district were aimed to participated in the study, sampling model was not used. Through questionnaires, the data were collected from 63 institution managers to evaluate the level of the students quıalifications. In the study, the qualifications of the students and these qualifications' meeting the needs of the sector were analyzed. Questionnaires were applied to the managers of the corporation or institutions where the students practice what they learn in the schools. The collected data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 20.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences).As a result of the study, the demographics information of the managers and the expectations of the graduated students and the level of meeting these needs were investigated. When analyzed, it was seen that the answers of the managers to the questions were generally `agree`. According to the managers' gender, age, work experience, position, sector, there was not a meaningful difference in the result. However, according to their education level , there was a small difference concerning their office management work and individual abilities; but , it was seen that this was also not a meaningful difference when analyzed. Bu araştırma Türkiye'de ``Ayakkabı Tasarımı ve Üretimi Lisans Programına Yönelik Eğitim İhtiyaçlarının Belirlenmesi'` amacı ile yapılmıştır. Genel tarama modelinde yapılan araştırma için nicel ve nitel veri toplama araçları geliştirilmiştir. Nicel verileri toplamak amacı ile dört farklı ölçek geliştirilmiş ve bu ölçekler ``Ayakkabı Tasarımı ve Üretimi Lisans Programına Yönelik İhtiyaç Analizi Ölçeği'` başlığı altında toplanmıştır. Ayakkabı tasarımı ve üretimi lisans programı mezununda bulunması gereken yeterliklerden yola çıkılarak geliştirilen 77 maddelik temel yeterlikler, tasarım, üretim ve pazarlama yeterliklerinden oluşan ölçek, Kasım 2011 ve Nisan 2012 tarihleri arasında çeşitli üniversitelerde görev yapan eğitim bilimleri, pazarlama, tasarım, ayakkabı alanında çalışan öğretim elemanları, ayakkabı üreticileri, ayakkabı tasarımcıları ve ayakkabı öğretmenlerinden oluşan toplam 766 kişilik çalışma evrenine uygulanmıştır. Online uygulama öğretim elemanlarına, ayakkabı eğitimcilerine ve tasarımcılara yapılmıştır. Yüz yüze uygulama ise İstanbul, İzmir, Konya, Gaziantep, Adana, Hatay, Manisa ve Bursa illerinde yaşayan ayakkabı üreticileri ile yapılmıştır.Toplanan veriler ANOVA, T testi, Kruskal Wallis H-Testi, kullanarak analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca bazı alt problemlerin çözümlenmesinde Ortalama, standart sapma vb. betimsel istatistik tekniklerinden faydalanılmıştır. Nitel veriler ise ayakkabı üreticileri, satıcıları, tasarımcıları ve eğitimcilerinden oluşan bir katılımcı grubundan görüşme yoluyla ve tüm katılımcılara uygulanan açık uçlu bir soru ile sağlanmıştır. Nitel veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Türkiye'de ayakkabı tasarımı ve üretimine yönelik olarak lisans programlarına acilen ihtiyaç duyulduğu ve bu programların ayakkabı tasarımı, teknolojisi, üretimi, yönetimi ve pazarlamasına ilişkin eğitim süreçlerinden oluşması gerektiği ortaya çıkmıştır. SUMMARYThis research has been carried out to assess the need analysis for the development and establishment of an undergraduate program focused on footwear design and manufacturing in Turkey. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods have been applied during this research. In order to collect the quantitative data, the research has been carried out under 4 different criterias which are classified under the heading ``The criterias to assess the need analysis for the development and establishment of an undergraduate program focused on footwear design and manufacturing?`. Based on the competencies that are required from a graduate of a footwear design and manufacturing program, 77 questions are listed in the questionnaire. The questionnaire aims to measure the (1) core competencies (2) design related competencies (3) manufacturing related competencies and (4) marketing related competencies of a `Footwear Design and Manufacturing? graduate . The research was conducted among 766 people who were working as pedagogs, marketing professionals, designers, footwear instructors/lecturers in various universities and footwear manufacturers, footwear designers and footwear instructors between November 2011 to April 2012.The online questionnaire was only conducted among instructors/lecturers , footwear trainers and footwear designers. The footwear manufacturers who are based in Istanbul, Izmir, Konya, Gaziantep, Adana, Hatay, Manisa and Bursa were interviewed in person. The data collected have been analysed by using ANOVA, T-test, Kruskal Wallis H-test. In order to address some of the obstacles within the research, some statistical calculations (mean, standard deviation and etc.) have been used. Qualitative research was carried out by asking an open-end question during one to one meetings with footwear manufacturers, footwear sellers, footwear designers and instructors/lecturers. Qualitative data has been processed through scanning the content generated as a result of the interviews. The findings of the research show that there is an urgent need to have an undergraduate program in `Footwear Design and Manufacturing? in Turkey. The scope of the undergraduate program should contain the processes of footwear design, footwear technology, footwear manufacturing, management and marketing related issues within itself. Since graduates are the core of educational activities, investigating their viewpoints on clinical, communication, and management abilities to play professional roles can help to promote educational programs. Researches have reported different results from the viewpoints of nursing graduates about the effects of acquired skills during their academic years on their performance and professional needs. The present study was conducted to determine the comparison of educational programs' objectives for professional needs from the viewpoints of nursing graduates in three periods of three years. Materials and Methods: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was performed in the year 2009 on 354 nursing graduates who had graduated from Khorramabad , faculty of nursing and midwifery n the continuous and discontinuous undergraduate courses from 1999 to 2007. Out of 354 posted questionnaires, 222 questionnaires were returned. They were considered in terms of three periods of three years, including 1999-2001 as the first period, 2002-2004 as the second period and 2005-2007 as the third period. The data collection tool was a questionnaire including personal information, appropriateness of educational programs' objectives for professional needs, satisfaction with educational programs and necessity to change them, factors influencing the quality of educational programs from the viewpoints of graduates, and educational and research activities related to after-graduation fields, which was mailed to the participants and completed by them. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Chi-square tests. Results:Most of the first period graduates (74.2%) evaluated their competencies in taking care of patients as high, while those in the second (72%) and third (57.9%) periods represented a reduction. Most of the graduates of the first period (62.2%) considered the training courses more effective on professional efficiency compared to practical (48.9%) and theoretical (51.1%) courses, and in the other periods the influence of theoretical and training courses tended to decrease. The majority of the graduates in the first period believed that 50% of their acquired skills during their academic years moderately fulfilled their professional needs, while in other periods a decreasing trend was found. The Chi-square test did not reveal any significant differences between the three periods. The factors affecting the quality of educational programs from the viewpoints of the graduates were as follows: qualified faculty members and instructors (73%), educational environment (67.6%), facilities for clinical education (66.2%), applied teaching methods (59.9%), and the availability of scientific resources (59.9%), but Chi-square tests did not show any significant differences between the three periods, except for resources. Conclusion: The comparison of educational programs' objectives for professional needs shows a decreasing trend therefore, revising nursing education is recommended to enhance the competency of graduates for patient care, to use more theoretical, training and practical courses in the professional performance, and to increase essential skills in order to respond to professional needs.

While skills and knowledge of harbormasters are critical drivers of sustainable development and management of marine tourism, very little scholarly research has been done to assess the professional-development needs of harbormasters. This study addresses this gap by empirically investigating the perceived importance of the professional needs of harbormasters in the Croatian marine tourism industry. Specifically, the goals of this research are to determine what marine-tourism-management skills need improvement, what skills can be improved through training, and which training courses might fulfill managerial expectations. A two-page self-completed questionnaire written in Croatian is adapted from previous research and administered to a population of Croatian harbormasters. Professional-development needs among Croatian harbormasters are identified to provide guidance for future harbormaster development planning. Implications and limitations are presented in the subsequent sections of the study.

Bu araştırma, hizmetiçi eğitim seminerlerine katılan birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmenlerinin mesleki ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Betimsel tarama modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmanın evrenini, 2010 yılında Türkiye'de hizmet içi eğitim seminerlerine katılan birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 248 birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, ?Birleştirilmiş Sınıf Öğretmeni Özyeterlik Ölçeği?nin uyumlaştırılmış biçimi aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapmanın yanı sıra T-testi ve MANOVA istatistik teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul yönetim işleri, program okuryazarlığı ve öğretim ve değerlendirme boyutlarında çeşitli mesleki ihtiyaçlarının olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bununla birlikte araştırmaya katılan birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmenlerinin mesleki ihtiyaçları, cinsiyet, öğretmenlikteki deneyim süresi, mesleki konum, birleştirilmiş sınıflarla ilgili hizmetiçi eğitime katılma durumu, atanma nedeni ve birleştirilmiş sınıflarda öğretmenlik yapmada isteklilik durumu gibi özelliklere göre anlamlı farklılık göstermemektedir. Bunun yanı sıra birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmenlerinin mesleki ihtiyaçlarının, okula dayalı özelliklerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığına baktığımızda ise, çalışılan okulun bölge düzeyi, bulunulan okulda çalışma süresi, okutulan sınıflar, çalışılan okulun materyal durumu, okulun mali özellikleri ve okulun bulunduğu sosyal çevrenin özelliklerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermezken, birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmenlerinden 3 yıldır aynı sınıfı okutan öğretmenlerin, 1 yıldır aynı sınıfı okutan öğretmenlere göre, okul yönetim işleri boyutunda, program okur-yazarlığı boyutunda ve öğretim-değerlendirme boyutlarında daha fazla mesleki ihtiyaç duydukları yönünde anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir.Anahtar Sözcükler: Birleştirilmiş sınıf öğretmenleri, mesleki ihtiyaç, okul yönetimi, program okuryazarlığı, öğretim ve değerlendirme This research was made to determine the professional needs of the teachers that are teaching in multigrade classes. In this research, the descriptive survey model was used and the population was based on multigrade class teachers that attended inservice training seminars in Turkey in 2010. The sample of this research is 248 multigrade class teachers. Data was gathered through the adaptation of ?Multigrade Class Teacher Competency Scale?. To analyze the data frequency; percentage, average and standard deviation were used as well as T-Test and MANOVA statistics technique. The results indicated that multigrade class teachers have different professional needs about school administration business, program literacy, education and evaluation. However, the professional needs of multigrade class teachers involved in the research are not varied according to their gender, experience in teaching, professional position, attending in-service trainings, their reason of appointment and their willingness to teach in multigrade classes. But ,when we consider whether the professional needs of multigrade class teachers differ as to the reasons based on school or not, while they don?t differ much in relation to the regional degree of the school, experience of teaching, the classes taught, materialistic supply, economical state and social environment of the school, they vary significantly in that among the multigrade class teachers, the ones that have taught the same class for 3 years need more professional help about school administration business, program literacy and instructional evaluation than the ones that have taught the same class for 1 year.Key Words: Multigrade class teachers, professional needs, school management, program literacy, education and evaluation 60
