Physical Education teachers are considered to be a special group in the educational system, as well as a community 'at the forefront' of pedagogy. This article proposes to test these widespread social representations by mobilising quantitative and qualitative data from four collective surveys devoted in whole or in part to PE teachers. By providing a means of comparison with secondary school teachers from a range of disciplines, this data set challenges the characteristics and delineation of the group. It confirms the importance within this disciplinary group of dispositions linked to the pedagogical dimensions of the profession and highlights the different moments of their development during primary socialisation and professional training. In this way, the mechanisms and conditions for the emergence of an effective singular teaching ethos are revealed, without prejudging the effectiveness of the associated teaching practices. Some studies point out that the social groups closer to or in contact with migrant populations may develop prejudices, both explicit and subtler than those generated between populations in which the contact with members of other cultures is still insignificant (Retortillo y Rodríguez, 2008; Cea D'Ancona, 2009; Checa y Arjona, 2011). The aim of this work is to find out what schoolchildren think about and what their attitudes are towards the arrival of migrant people to the classroom and other nearby settings. These opinions and attitudes have been compared in two Spanish areas with different trajectories in the presence of migrant people, Salamanca and Murcia. The possible differences in these attitudes were examined, also taking into account the gender and the educational level of the participants. The methodology includes a comparative study with a first descriptive approximation, via a questionnaire. The results indicate the widespread perception, especially on the part of school children, that migrant groups are inappropriately treated. With certain nuances, geographic location and educational level are not important variables when it comes to considering the influence of migrant people on the class. However, positive attitudes are more frequent among Elementary Education students. In this reflective article, the transition from the 19th century Modernity to current Postmodernity is described and analyzed. In Western advanced societies, social and cultural conflicts arise due to the complexity, fragmentation and loss of social models. These elements are in the entire social structure, likewise in the school and the family. These two institutions are in crisis, for not giving satisfactory answers to the challenges posed. Minors are the most affected group by social decomposition and the prevailing relativism. Within the realm of management, productivity and marketing logic, academia deepens the contradictions that define it. In this sense, the goal of this theoretical article is to critically discuss labor relations in the academic world as it pertains to leisure, in the Greek sense (scholé), displeasure and pleasure. It is important to conceive these latter two concepts arranged with the first as a critical reflection of the role of the professor in higher education. Otherwise, little attention will be paid to the construction of emancipatory mechanisms of work derived from individual and collective conduct that help renew the relationship of the individual to the work. Ultimately, it is necessary to value this scholé space, not as instrumental purposes, but as a human condition of professional relationships in order to broaden a social reality extended through instruction and research. Explora-se a literatura nacional e internacional sobre resiliência e educação, por meio de um estudo de revisão crítica. A base de análise foi a hermenêutica dialética. Identificamos dois núcleos temáticos: a dimensão relacional da resiliência e a estrutura educacional; a estrutura da política educacional e a resiliência na prática docente. O primeiro subdivide-se em dois campos: um relacionado à psicologia do desenvolvimento, valorizando o lugar do indivíduo na construção de posturas e comportamentos resilientes, e outro que se vincula à perspectiva sistêmica das instituições, incluindo escola e família. Concluímos que na educação são produzidos "processos resilientes" e muito menos resiliência como conceito destituído de contexto, realidade e reflexão. Sugerimos que uma análise dos campos simbólicos, dos capitais gerados nesse universo e do diálogo entre tradições pode ser útil para análises futuras da temática da resiliência e da educação.

This study identifies the measures provided by the government of Castile and Leon in the years 2007-2011 to prevent and combat early school leaving. It also conceptualises teachers' views about the phenomenon, what they know about these measures and how they rate their degree of implementation and effectiveness. This community is known for its educational success considering international benchmarks such as PISA assessment or diagnosis evaluations. However, its dropout rate has touched the national average since 1998 and went over it in 2011. After a documentary analysis of the measures referred to in the Agreements with the Ministry of Education and related documents on ESL, we designed an evaluation questionnaire validated by experts in order to know the implementation of the measures to combat early school leaving; another questionnaire with a sample of 67 High Schools schools in Castile and Leon and a group discussion were also used. Results allow us to contrast institutional and teachers' views, a key dimension for the mobilisation and coordination of measures for the prevention and mitigation of ESL. Our study concludes that further efforts are to be made in the implementation of measures, in improving coordination with other ministries and agents outside the field of education, in giving more support to schools, and in performing a wide dissemination of the problem and its educational, economic, social and labour consequences. Résumé L’anesthésie-réanimation s’est engagée depuis plusieurs décennies dans la recherche de l’excellence tant dans le domaine clinique que dans celui de la recherche. L’exigence de notre discipline s’applique également à la sélection des universitaires. L’objectif de cet article est, d’une part, de porter à la connaissance de la discipline les critères d’évaluation indispensables à l’inscription sur liste d’aptitude aux fonctions de maitre de conférences des universités – praticien hospitalier (MCU-PH) et de professeur des universités – praticien hospitalier (PU-PH) en anesthésie-réanimation, et d’autre part, de décrire en détail le long processus conduisant à cette inscription. Since several decades, anesthesia care and intensive care, as well, are engaged in the way of excellence in clinical care and research. This requirement is also applied for the selection of professor and academic workers. The goals of this article are twice: first to diffuse this knowledge at the medical community and second to describe in details the long process leading to the final appointment. The objective of this paper is presenting a critical discussion about the teacher training to whom teaches Mathematics in the early years of elementary school. It begins by outlining the matter of difficulties in teaching and learning Mathematics, recurring in research and academic discourses, highliting as one of the factors to teacher training. Then we present the contributions of two different theoretical, Lee Shulman and V. V. Davydov to face this problem. It is concluded affirming that V. V. Davydov's contributions are more effective and that its proposal could be better used to advance in the quality of Mathematics education.
