The main goal of my Bachelor thesis is to analyze the potential for tourism development in the South Bohemian Region. The studied region is divided into nine tourist areas. The potential is evaluated using the modified method of Jan Bína from 2002. The highest value of potential is 229 points in the tourist area Lipensko, the lowest in Třeboňsko (166 points). The evaluation of the real use of the potential is based on a survey through questionnaires. All of the 207 questionnaires were gathered through November and December 2021. In general, the potential of the South Bohemian Region is using sufficiently. Another objective of the questionnaire research was to find out what respondents are dissatisfied with in this region, what they lack here or what they would welcome here. To increase the use of potential, I propose to build a new aquapark in Toulava, to increase the number of parking places and better promoting children's cultural events.

The main objective of this Master Thesis is to assess the potential of the model territory of the Jindřichův Hradec Region from the perspective of rural tourism on the basis of historical, socio-demographic and geographic description and analysis of the use of its potential for tourism, including the analysis of opinions of selected entities on tourism and its development. In the theoretical part, there are characterize the basic terms from the field or tourism, or rather rural tourism, using professional literature. In the following part of the Thesis, the entire territory of the municipality with extended powers ("ORP") called Jindřichův Hradec is characterized within the individual tourism factors, i.e. localization, selective and implementation factors. The assessment of the tourism potential of the ORP Jindřichův Hradec is based on the evaluation of the factors and the questionnaire survey that was focused on the staff of tourist information centres and their opinions on tourism and all elements of tourism infrastructure. Also, table, picture and map outputs are an essential part of the presented Thesis.

This thesis focuses on capacity potential and transportation workload of the most attractive part of Orlík dam in terms of recreational navigation. The thesis deals with area of orlík dam between Podskalí and Marina Orlík. The objective of this thesis is assessment of actual recreational use of Orlík dam for recreational navigation, infrastructure, and potential capacity in connection with investment of the European Union into navigability of river Vltava.

New comparative method for assessing tourism potential: the case of Georgia, Israel and Cyprus _______________________________________________________________________________________ Abstract This bachelor thesis presents a new comparative method by which it would be possible to evaluate the tourism potential of states or regions at the international level while comparing them in terms of eligibility for tourism development. The main goal of the thesis is to create the own new methodology. However, this is preceded by a relatively detailed theoretical and methodological literature review, in which mainly the current approaches to assessing the tourism potential are introduced. The use of the new method in practice is presented on the example of a comparison of three different destinations - Georgia, Israel and Cyprus. These countries have surprisingly many in common, including approximately the same number of international tourist arrivals. However, the tourism potential is very different, not only when comparing its final value, but even more when comparing all the values of individual factors from which the overall potential is compounded. The main objective of the master thesis was to compare municipalities within the Telč region from the perspective of rural tourism. The comparison was based on historical, sociodemographic and geographic description and analysis of their potential for tourism, including analysis of opinions of selected subjects towards tourism and its development. In the theoretical part, basic concepts of tourism or rural tourism were characterized, based on the review of pertinent professional literature. In the next section, the Telč region was characterized in terms of particular tourism-related factors, i.e. localization, selective and implementation factors. The characteristic consisted in comparing the objective data of the municipalities studied. Evaluation of tourism potential of the Telč region was based on evaluation of the factors and on the survey that addressed representatives of the municipalities with the aim to acquire their opinions on tourism and all components of tourism infrastructure.

This thesis is focused on tourism in a microregion called Vitorazsko, a small border district in the south of Bohemia. The thesis analyzes the potential of tourism in the area. It investigates demografical and political characteristics of the microregion, but also turisitc attractions and infrastructure, which are necessary for the development of tourism in the area. All these factors of the tourism potential are evaluated by a numeric value and put into the form of thematic maps. In the end of the thesis, there are two improvement suggestions. The first one is a creation of a website, which could raise public awareness of the microregion. The second one is a creation of two long-distance cycling routes focused on the history of Vitorazsko and the nature reserves in the area.

The goal of this bachelor thesis is a creation of data model for further development and implementation of tourism potential in the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. The thesis describes the necessary steps starting by data collection, data analysis using GIS software and data visualization into sub-components of tourism potential. In the final part, the data models are evaluated and their future development is discussed.

Bachelor thesis is dedicated to evaluation of tourism in microregion Horňácko. This microregion is located in Southmoravian county and also it is a part of region Slovácko. In first part of bachelor thesis, is description related to topic, specifically a definition of tourism, assumptions of tourism, potential and its options of evaluation. Practical part is focused on description of the territory and evaluation of potential pursuant on method of evaluation from Mariot. Use of the SWOT analysis provided informations about strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the territory. On the basis of this finding I was able to create particular suggestions to improve the use of potential of the area for improvement in development of tourism.

Bachelor thesis elaborates charting of tourism in specified area of Krkonoše with more focus on cadastre unit of Špindlerův Mlýn. The introduction defines aims of work, followed by theoretical solutions and methology with suppositions. Furthermore it deals with physical-geographical and socio-geographical territory characteristics. In the following practical part tackles tourismus development in Špindlerův Mlýn regarding catering and accomodation establishment, visit rate according to nationalities and provided service survey. Furthermore it deals with analysis of tourist trade potential in a particular Krkonoše region resolving the natural, cultural and implementary prerequisites of particular communities. In conclusion there are the practical part evaluation, hypothesis verification and work aims recapitulation. A list of tables, pictures, diagrams, maps and abbreviations also is a part of the thesis, with a list of applied literature and the appendix part.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the potential of tourism in district Břeclav which is located in the south of Moravia. First theoretical part of this thesis contain basic summary of tourism including typology, effects and prerequisites for further development. Another part is about my own research and processing information and documents relating to the selected area Břeclavsko. There are described natural, demographic and socioeconomic characteristics and evaluated the localization and implementation assumptions for tourism and overall attractiveness of the area. In the last part was potential evaluated of methods according Bína (2002) and then there were identified strengths, weakness opportunities and threats of the area.

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of tourism potential in territory of microregion Svazek obcí Panství hradu Veveří. Thesis contains literature review on the topic of tourism, characteristics of the area of interest and localization and implementation assumptions of microregion. For the evaluation of potential was chosen methodology by RNDr. Jan Bína, CSc. from the year 2002, evaluation of realized questionnaire and SWOT analysis. Finally there are suggested recommendations for more effective use of potential of microregion in a relation to development of tourism. These results provide preview on current development of microregion.

The main objective of master thesis was to compare the potential of tourism in two rural communities in the Klatovy region. The theoretical part explains the concepts of literature related to rural tourism and tourism outlined in the Pilsen district. The practical part was to compare the objective data of selected municipalities and survey focused on the views of the population on tourism and business in their village. Based on empirical field research were identified attitudes and opinions of individual categories of respondents and established recommendations for the decision-making system.

This thesis evaluates the use of grant funds from various grant schemes for transnational, national, regional and local level in relation to support the development of tourism. The chosen problem area for the evaluation is the micro-region Horňácko. Review of the literature explains the concepts related to the evaluation of strategic documents, programs, projects, contemporary approaches and documentation as well as methods for the evaluation. Especially in the area of tourism there is a potential area specific for such development. There are also included characteristics of the area, history and explanation of the specific municipalities. The usage of financial aids for the development of tourism is evaluated in the analysis of realized projects. Various projects in the field of tourism development in Horňácko are specialy evaluated with objectives of strategic documents and the usage of potential in the area. In the evaluation we find essential persistent problems which are confirmed by the content of the new LAG strategy for the next programming period from 2014 to 2020. There are researched further possibilities of financial aid for new programming period from several sources availible on different levels in the framework of ascertined facts.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the responsible tourism in the area Lipensko. The main goal of the bachelor thesis is an evaluation of the current state of responsible tourism in this location. Based on the study of literature and websides is carried out the analysis of supply at first. Through the analysis of demand based on the questionnaire research is then evaluated the interest in selected activities of responsible tourism. On the basis of results of analyzes of supply and demand are devised suggestions of optimization for using this area through the tourism.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Responsible tourism in the Prachatice Region. The main goal is an evaluation of the current state of responsible tourism in this location. Through the fractional goals is evaluated the structure of assumptions of development of responsible tourim in this location and preferences of visitou for types of responsible tourism. For the accomplishment of goals of the bachelor thesis were created the analysis of supply that was done from internet and book resources and the analysis of demand through the questionnaire research that was used for the detection of interest of respondents in individual activities of responsible tourism. Data obtained through the analyzes of supply and demand led to the devising of suggestions of optimization for using this area through tourism.

This bachelor thesis "Study of tourism development in the Bílé Karpaty mikroregion" focuses on assessing the potential of tourism development in the Bílé Karpaty mikroregion. The paper defines terms related to the issue of tourism, describes the evaluation methodology and wider regional relations. The practical part describes the evaluation of the tourism potential of the methodology by Bína (2002), SWOT analysis, evaluation questionnaires and conflicts of tourism and conservation. In conclusion designed the recommendations to support the development of tourism in the Bílé Karpaty mikroregion.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the prerequisites tourism and the tourism potential in the defined area of the Pelhřimov district. The theoretical part focuses on the basic terminology of tourism, regional development and theoretical determination of preconditions for tourism development. In the practical part, the prerequisites of the defined area are analyzed and evaluated from the tourism point of view. This is followed by the evaluation method of tourism potential. Based on the analyses, several recommendations for the use and connection of local attractions are suggested with the aim to promote local tourism in the defined area.

The main goal of the thesis was to compare a potential of rural tourism at two villages in Jindřichohradecko, one is located in a protected landscape area and the other is outside of this region. This task is intended to show the potential, which is affected by different conditions in protections of nature. The theoretical part of this work is not only focused on the rural tourism through a literature review, its forms, evaluation of its potential and benefits as well but also negatives of its development. The practical part assesses the potential of Jindřichohradecko for activities of the rural tourism and particularly analyzes in detail the situation in a village Pístina (lying in the PLA) and Zahrádky by using a descriptive case study, which is situated outside of the area with an enhanced protection of the nature. The thesis includes a questionnaire survey, whose results present an opinion of citizens of the villages on the rural tourism in their villages.

This bachelor thesis deals with assessing the potential of tourism in the microregion Strážnicko. The investigated area is located in the south Moravia at borderline with the Slovak Republic. The first part of this work contains the basic concepts related to the tourism and selected methodologies. The second part includes location and description of the area. The area is evaluated according to the methodology by RNDr. J. Bína 2002. The final part suggests possible recommendations for the development of tourism.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is an evaluation of a selected area considering development of regions in relation with leisure time utilization of the environment. The micro-region discussed was chosen, due to its positioning within the Opavian-Silesian touristic area, which is at the beginning of its development and forming an appropriate functioning of destination management. A literature concerning destination management, country touristic and evaluation of tourism potential according to different authors was explored. The custom evaluation of the tourism potential comes from controlled interviews with mayors and vice-mayors wthin particular municipalities and from a personal field surrvey. After the analysis of the area is processed, it is followed by a summary of the results found and a proposal of a possible development of the country micro-region of Moravice. Book publications, internet sources and information gathered during interviews and a field surrvey, are used to reach the goal of the diploma.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the assumptions of tourism for chosen tourist destination, concretely Malá Morávka and Karlov pod Pradědem. Results of analysis will be compared with already existing results of analysis of potencial. On the basis of both analyzes and opinions of third parties will be realized SWOT analysis. According to identified strategy, which results from SWOT analysis, will be suggested a several recommendations for development of tourism in analyzed area.

This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of tourist potential in micro-region Bojkovsko. For this evaluation were used Bína's method (2002), SWOT analysis and questionnaire survey. This thesis contains a literature review focused on the issues of tourism. There is also described the characteristics of the micro-region and its localization requirements. Part of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of the level of development of tourism in the micro-region. Based on evaluations and observed results the aim of bachelor thesis is to propose some activities to help the development of tourism in micro-region Bojkovsko.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the tourism development potential in the district of Třebíč, but also to describe and analyze the district. A part of this thesis is a general characteristic of tourism, its forms and types and also the definition of the tourism development potential. A part of it is devoted to tourism organizations that help with the development of the district. The thesis is mainly based on a questionnaire survey of the general public. There was made a SWOT analysis of the district of Třebíč based on gathered information, there were interpreted results of the questionnaire survey and designed recommendations to increase the attractiveness and quality of the destination.

This bachelor thesis evaluates developing the tourism potential in the natural park Bobrava. The main goal is to evaluate the potential of tourism in the park Bobrava, which is situated in the region Brno-province. In the literature review is defined the concept of tourism and tourism potential, overview of the methodologies, which evaluate developing the tourism potential and basic characteristics of the defined territory. In the second part was natural park evaluated of methodology by Bína (2010), a SWOT analysis was made and framework measures to promote tourism in natural park Bobrava were made too.

The bachelor thesis deals with tourism and evaluation the assumptions for the local tourism and its development. The problem is practically solved on the example of the Orlik Dam. The hypothesis assumes, that the region use the benefits from its potential lack. This was confirmed by acomplished situational analysis, SWOT analysis and evaluation of the potential of tourism by own method based on method made by RNDr. Jan Bína. There was found several critical areas, that prevent a more intensive using of the tourist offer. The main problem is eutrophication of water and the lack of tourism infrastructure. Increase the attractiveness of the area for tourists represent proposed projects listed at the conclusion of the thesis.

This diploma thesis analyzes the senior tourism, its development, status, structure and perceptions of accommodation facility owners. We used leisure development and the evolution of older people (55 years and 65 years) for the theoretical framing theory. We also used development funds and the theory of subjective and real age for better explaining the actual trends. The methodology of thesis was based on a survey, informal interviews and email survey. A questionnaire survey was conducted on two levels. The first aims directly at senior citizens (240 respondents) and the second at the owners of accommodation facilities. An important source of information was informal conversation among the elderly. These interviews helped to clarify and to explain phenomena that were discovered in surveys. Another source of information was planned as a telephone poll of travel agents. However, for fear of misuse of data and retaining its "know-how" there were no results and this method of information obtaining was avoided. A very important source of information were reviews of Czech and foreign literature. Finally, I used and Internet sources. This thesis deals with the possibilities of tourism development for families with children in Tabor region and the selection of the latent potential of tourism for the reference segment. Based on the findings of the situational analysis and carried out field research the proposals, were designed to offer innovations, to improve the attractiveness of the Tabor region on the tourism market for families with children and then the tourism product compiled.

The diploma paper Impact of tourism attractiveness on geographical distribution and intensity of tourist services at the Lipno area? characterizes the existing situation of tourism and its historical development in the delimitated territory of the Lipno municipality cluster micro-region. The paper is focused on the determination of different types of touristic centers, the identification of primary potential?s attractiveness level and its impact on the distribution of tourist services within the delimitated area, as well as the barriers for natural development of those services.

The subject of the bachelor thesis named "Analysis of a potential for tourism development in a selected area" is to design methodics for the analysis and to analyze each chosen part of the potential on the Šumava-west microregion. This work is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part I describe the characteristics of tourism, its potential and possibilities of its measurement. In the practical part I concentrate on the Šumava-west microregion and its rating from the tourism potential point of view. I am dealing with the analysis and rating of assumptions for the tourism development in this area. The conclusion consists of a summary rating of the tourism potential and suggestions for further development of tourism in the Šumava-west microregion.

Hlavním cílem práce bylo analyzovat cestovní ruch ve zvolené oblasti s důrazem na zázemí této oblasti a na základě zjištěných skutečností aktivovat jeho skrytý potenciál. Byla zpracována situační analýza, jejímž cílem bylo důkladné zmapování zkoumané oblasti. Dále bylo provedeno terénní šetření a na základě jeho výsledků byly konstatovány návrhy a opatření pro zlepšení. Vedlejší cíl práce byl navrhnout produkt cestovního ruchu se zaměřením na vybraný segment návštěvníků ? na seniory.

The subject of my bachelor thesis is The present state and potential of development in the field of tourism in the Žďár nad Sázavou district. The aim is to assess the present state of analyzed territory and to suggest particular arrangements for development of tourism for the future. The first part of my thesis contains general definition of tourism, its forms and potential. The second part is divided into several chapters and is focused on estimation of the present state of the territory in the field of tourism. We assess the natural, cultural-historical potential and moreover the essential and concomitant infrastructure of tourism. In the third part, suggestions of concrete arrangements which might contribute to the development of tourism in the given region in the future are outlined.

The main object of this thesis is to analyse the total potential of tourism in Znojmo District and to suggest the main measures and priorities for further tourism development in this region based on the analysis.

This thesis analyzes the intensity of tourism in Strakonice and a potential for further development. The analysis was performed first, using computer software ArcGIS and through a personal interview visitors Strakonice. Based on the findings of these analytical solutions have been proposed how to increase the attractiveness of the reference region.

Bachelor thesis deals with quantitative and qualitative spatial distribution of bed capacity and ancillary services within a defined territory Trebon. At the beginning the thesis deals with the definition of tourism and consequently its theory. In the next section is developed characteristic of the defined area, divided into the physical-geographical and socio-geographical part. In the main analytical section based on my own data collection, I appraise the quantitative bed capacity based on the inventory, the quality of bed capacity and ancillary services, the bed capacity by individual micro regions, and time and space relation of distribution of bed capacity. The work is supplemented by tables, graphs and maps.

The thesis consists of six chapters and its aim is to appraise the current situation and potencial of tourism in the region of Liberec and its options for a future development. The Paper is devided into a theoretical and a practical part. The teoretical part explains the basic terminology related to the subject and the practical part is oriented to description, analysis and evaluation of a current situation of tourism in the region and suggestions for its growth.

This thesis deals with Iran as a tourist destination. As is implied in the title, the definite aim of the thesis is to evaluate the potential of tourism in this country and its attractiveness for Czech tourists. Initially, there is a general characterization of Iran of the population and the land from geographical, economic and other facets. The general characterization is followed by an analysis of tourism in Iran -- the current situation and the anticipated development. The very important part of this thesis is represented by the analysis of the tour offers provided by Czech tour operators to this destination and evaluation of the questionnaire research, which was aimed to find out how Iran is perceived by the Czech public and also to examine the interest in travelling to this country among Czech tourists.

The object of the diploma was to analyse cultural and heritage tourism in the region Telčsko. The research was made, which helped to recognise common characteristics of visitors and to recognize why do they come to region and which atractivities are the most visited. The result of the research problems gives us some problematic areas and it was made a suggestion of the solutions of this problematical points.

The paper analyses the position of the narrow-gauge railway of Jindřichův Hradec in tourism of the region. The first part characterizes the area, its potency for tourism and analyses visitors in the region. The second part deals with detailed description of the narrow-gauge railway and the company Jindřichohradecké místní dráhy a.s., which owns and conducts the railway. The last part analyses the position of the narrow-gauge railway in tourism based on ascertained data and according to analisys suggests further development of the railway.

The aim of this thesis is to describe a chosen microregion with focus on the given sphere of commercial services and to specify predispositions of development of this sphere of commercial services. An intention was to carry out the situational analysis which is a very important point for the formation of the strategy, whether it is necessary to find out the current market condition. The next purpose was to explore, whether the microregion has any specific predispositions so as to be successful in the sphere of commercial services and what the region should concentrate on at the present time and in the future. The Union of municipalities Chlum u Třeboně, Staňkov, Hamr is situated in the South Bohemian region and consists of three municipalities: Chlum u Třeboně, which is characterized as a small town, Staňkov and Hamr are villages. This union of municipalities is the recreational area and was established in 1999 for the purpose of obtaining grants for the building of a new technical infrastructure in the member municipalities. The area is placed in a landscape attractive for tourists. Beautiful and intact country-side can be found in the surrounding. A number of Czech sights and significant cities are situated nearby and fishpond cultivation has a long tradition there. However, the microregion encounters problems including bad state of some historical monuments, unsatisfactory conditions of local roads, aging population in municipalities, migration of younger population to the bigger cities, insufficient equipment of schools and bad transport availability to neighbouring municipalities. Using of the funds from EU could be the solution for improvement of this situation. The biggest potential for development is found in Chlum u Třeboně where the most important difference between potential and used opportunities occurs. The town endeavours to improve living of both local inhabitants and tourists. The activity is rather declining in Hamr and Staňkov, especially the inhabitants of Hamr don't care for tourism very much. On condition that tourism is used, it is possible to reach balanced development leading to the raising of the standard of offered services and also to raising of the quality of residents' lives.

Suitability of an area for tourism and recreational needs belongs among traditional issues of the Czech geography. Generally this problem is divided into assessment of natural potential and assessment of cultural-historical potential of an area for tourism and recreation. This contribution is aimed at possibilities of quantitative expression of cultural-historical potential using spatial interaction models in the area of the South Moravia region.

This dissertation is concerned with three areas whereas each has another stadium of turism development. One of them is Spain, which has been a member of European Union for more than twenty years. So during this time it has been well-prepared and well-educated how to use european money to support and boost the travel tourism not only at the seaside. The travel turism has its own tradition on the Croatia coast since the beginning of 20th. century. But after the separation and break up of former Yugoslavia the war freezed the travel turims in this area.And the last one is Czech Republic and area of {\clqq}Novohradsko``. The {\clqq}forgotten area`` because of its location- at first in Sudeten and than in frontier zone- behind the ribs. Thats probably the reason why it has so untouched and unspoiled landscape.
