This study was conducted to examine value reorientation for youths as an imperative for national development. The study was carried out because of the observed growing rate of moral decadence among youths in Nigeria. The youths seem disoriented and this calls for value reorientation. The study adopted descriptive research design of the survey type. Population of the study consisted of all youths in Ekiti state within the age of 15 and 35 years. The sample consisted of 500 youths in Ado Ekiti selected through simple random sampling technique. A self-designed questionnaire titled “Value Reorientation for Youths Questionnaire” (VRYQ) was used for data collection. The instrument was validated while reliability test conducted yielded 0.79 coefficients. Findings of the study revealed that self-discipline, humility, hard work among others are the societal values required by youths. The study showed lack of value based leadership, parents’ failure to inculcate values in children at early stage and impunity as factors militating against youths’ development of societal values while demonstration of positive habits by all citizens and value based leadership were suggested as means of reorientating the youths. It was concluded that youths need reorientation to develop values and attitudes that will make them contribute meaningfully to national development.

Relatório de estágio de mestrado em Ensino de Música, O presente Relatório de Estágio, desenvolvido ao longo do ano letivo 2015/2016, no Conservatório de Música de V.N. de Famalicão – ArtEduca, teve como principal objetivo explanar a importância da realização de exercícios de relaxamento a fim de melhorar a aprendizagem do violino. Em concreto, este projeto tem o intuito de induzir nos alunos a consciência da importância do corpo e do seu correto uso na otimização da prática do instrumento. O objetivo da investigação era perceber se incentivar um melhor conhecimento da higiene postural e, o uso adequado da respiração, aliados a uma seleção de exercícios de relaxamento, podiam tornar-se hábitos positivos no estudo do violino, e, finalmente, verificar se essas práticas são benéficas efetivamente para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem. A intervenção pedagógica, assente na metodologia de investigação/ação com carácter exploratório, foi avaliada a partir da observação participativa e não participativa, de questionários realizados aos alunos intervenientes e professores da classe, e através de gravações vídeo em dois momentos concretos, para identificar que hábitos estão presentes no estudo individual dos alunos. Com base em literatura existente foram implementadas práticas e estratégias para o reconhecimento de posturas erradas na prática do instrumento e para realizar exercícios que promovam o relaxamento na prática do instrumento, visando melhorar a eficácia do ensinoaprendizagem do violino, procurando dados que possam orientar no futuro sobre este aspeto do ensino deste instrumento. Os exercícios realizados foram retirados de: Playing (less) Hurt: An Injury Prevention Guide to Musicians (2009) de Horvath, Life Class (1986) de Menuhin, e da minha experiência como aluna de ioga., The present Internship Report, developed during the academic year 2015/2016, in the Conservatory of Music of V.N. de Famalicão - ArtEduca, had as main objective to explain the importance of relaxation exercises in order to improve the learning of the violin. Specifically, this project intends to induce in students the awareness of the importance of the body and its correct use in the optimization of the instrument practice. The aim of the research was to understand whether to encourage a better knowledge of postural hygiene and the proper use of breathing, along with a selections of relaxation exercises, could become positive habits in the study of the violin, and finally, to verify if these practices are actually beneficial to the teaching-learning process. The Pedagogical intervention, based on exploratory research/action methodology, was evaluated with participant and non-participant observation, questionnaires to the intervening students and class teachers and through video recordings in two concrete moments to identify which habits are present in the student's individual study. Based on existing literature, practices and strategies were implemented to recognize wrong postures in the practice of the instrument and to perform exercises that promote relaxation in the practice of the instrument, aiming to improve the teaching-learning efficacy of the violin, looking for data that can guide in future about this aspect of teaching this instrument. The exercises were taken from Playing (less) Hurt: An Injury Prevention Guide to Musicians. (2009) from Horvath, Life Class (1986), from Menuhin, and from my experience as a yoga student.

O aynı zamanda yeryüzündeki bütün canlıların hayatıyla beraber onların insanla olan ilişkilerini belirler. İşte bu bağlamda ele aldığımız güzel huylar, dünya insanlık ailesi için rol-model bir müslüman tipini özlenen bütün meziyetlerle tasvir etmektedir. Bu bir bakıma yeryüzünde Yüce Allah'ın başlangıçta yaratmayı dilediği insanın tanımı mesabesindedir. Yapıp ettikleriyle anlam kazanan insanın varlığı bir bakıma güzel huylarla misyonunu murad-ı ilahîye göre tamamlamış olmaktadır. When primary Islamic sources is closely studied, it can be observed that Islam is an ethical system in theory and practice. This thesis which is entitled ?Good Habits in the Holy Qur'an? aims to study individual Muslim's ethical qualities as stated in the Holy Qur'an.Islam, requiring its followers to avoid bad habits and to be insistant on good ones, does not only form human individual's life but also designates relations of all beings.In this context good habits describe prototype of role model muslim individual for all humanity with positive features. In a sense, it provides a definition of perfect human being which Allah created at the beginning.The existence of human individual is being realised with good habits in accordance with divine will.
