Phyto-electricity is the process of generating or getting energy from green plants by using them as an electrolyte and inserting different metal plates in them to act as electrode in other to tap into the energy embedded in them and converting them to useful electric energy. Nowadays generating electricity from green plant has become very popular, but phyto-electric power generation has not been able to supply substantial energy to humans and this is due to the low electron in the plants used to generate electricity. In past research people have used trees to generate electricity. The phyto-electric power system works on same principle as the battery. In this design potato will be used as a source of power or as the green plant the battery which is filled with electrolytes, the more the electrolyte the higher the voltage that is readily available to be used, in other to be able to savor the power from the potato two dissimilar metals was used and the metals used were iron and zinc. After completing all of the paper design and analysis, the project was implemented, built, and tested to guarantee that it functioned properly. Electricity was generated and it was used to power a LED, the total resistance of the wire is 1Ω, there is also voltage loss across each node. This project was a success, but more research still needs to be done. And this project is a prove that energy are available in our surroundings, they are just needed to be investigated and further researched and there are more areas of energy and technology development that are yet to be addressed that are various problems faced by man in his day to day activities.

Veronica ,free volatile compounds ,hexadecanoic acid, hexahydrofarnesyl acetone ,phyto - Abstract
Plants of the genus Veronica (family Plantaginaceae) are used in traditional medicines in countries around the world. This sparked interest in studying these plants in terms of their chemical composition and biological activity. Veronica officinalis L., and Veronica urticifolia Jacq. which are the subject of this study, are traditionally used in the medicine of Balkan peoples. The objective of this study was to investigate free volatile compounds (FVCs) of Veronica urticifolia and. V. officinalis species especially in the terms of comparing FVCs from essential oil (EO) and from water residues (hydrolates, HY) and also discussing differences and similarities in the composition considering different plant material collection locations. Hydrolates are condensed water vapours containing dissolved molecules of EOs and more water-soluble (polar) FVCs. For the purposes of this research, EOs and HY were isolated by water distillation of dry plant material of the species V. urticifolia and V. officinalis in a Clevenger type apparatus. These plant species were collected in different areas in the territory of the Republic of Croatia. The phytochemical composition of FVCs was determined by GC and GC-MS analysis of isolated EO and HY, and the relative percentage of the identified compounds were calculated. The individual peaks for all samples were identified by comparison of their retention indices of n-alkanes to those of authentic samples and literature. The most abundant compound In EO of V. officinalis collected in Lokve - Mali raj (Site 1) was hexadecanoic acid (49.5%) whereas in the material collected in Zagreb (Site 2) heptacosane (25.1%), hexahydropharnesyl acetone (phyton) (21.8%) and phytol (17.1%) were the main components. The most common compounds in HY of V. officinalis from the Sites 1 and 2 were hexadecanoic acid (34.1% ; 30.3%), phytol (17.3% ; 23.3%) and phyton (14.5%: 18.5%), respectively. In the EO of V. urticifolia collected in Mala Kapela (Site 1) and Zelin Crnoluški (Site 2) the most common compounds were hexadecanoic acid (28.3% ; 30.3%), phyton (20.2% ; 18.5%), heptacosan (17.9%, 17.2%) and phytol (15.4% ; 20.3%), respectively. The most common compounds in the HY of this species from the mentioned localities were phyton (35.9% ; 40.3%), hexadecanoic acid (22.9%) and phytol (20.3% ; 21.1%), respectively.

GENE expression , *CHOLESTEROL , *FATTY acids , *NUCLEAR receptors (Biochemistry) , *ESTROGEN - Abstract
Several nuclear receptors bind substances in the diet or metabolites of dietary substances. This makes nuclear receptors a fascinating link between nutrition, toxicology, endocrinology and molecular biology. Nuclear receptor ligands may broadly be divided into two groups. The first group consists of steroid and thyroid hormones, and compounds that constitute intermediates in different biosynthetic pathways in steroid hormone, sterol and bile acid biosynthesis. The second group consists of the very diverse array of compounds that, with no or minor modifications, directly originate from foods, drugs or environmental pollutants. This review summarizes recent results on nuclear receptors with an emphasis on those with ligands of dietary relevance. The finding that several dietary compounds regulate gene expression in the same manner as steroid hormones has provided tools to help unravel molecular secrets and mechanisms behind many diet-associated diseases such as diabetes and obesity. - Abstract
Background: Various medications, surgeries, and assisted reproductive techniques are used to treat male infertility, but the high cost and low effectiveness have made these methods unpopular. The use of herbal medicines such as Withania somnifera, Ceratonia siliqua, Nigella sativa and Alpinia officinarum for the treatment of male infertility has become highly popular in recent years., Objective: We conducted this systematic review to evaluate the recent scientific evidence regarding herbal medicines used to treat idiopathic male infertility (IMI)., Methods: Online literature resources were checked using different search engines, including ISI, Web of Knowledge, Medline, PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Date restrictions were applied to 2020, and the publication language was restricted to English and Persian. The risk of bias was evaluated using the Cochrane method., Results: Out of 851 articles, 14 trials with 1218 participants were included. Of the 15 plants and medicinal products introduced in the selected studies, 12 cases were effective in treating male infertility. Each of these plants or products affects specific components of male fertility for which various mechanisms were mentioned, but most of them had antioxidant effects. No serious side effects were reported., Conclusion: Whitania somnifera roots, Alpinia officinarum, Nigella sativa seeds, Tomato, and Ceratonia siliqua and the formulation of Xperm, PHF, Churna Ratnam, Svaguptadi Churna, Y virilin capsule, manix capsule, and Tradafertil tablet revealed successful outcomes in treatment of idiopathic male infertility., (Copyright© Bentham Science Publishers; For any queries, please email at epub@benthamscience.net.)

Growing number of studies are using metabolomics as a research tool to aid in hypothesis generation or in solving a question. Unsurprisingly, a vast number of ethnopharmacology, herbal medicine, and phytomedicine investigations have started to rely on metabolomics approaches to find the mechanisms of action or to characterize a herbal medicine. However, it is often encountered that the reported study fails to report the metabolomics data in a comprehensible format or accessible to a larger audience. Hence, this effort is to make the authors and readers aware of the existing minimum standards for reporting metabolomics in addition to current developments and advances in this exciting area of research. Moreover, data archiving is becoming very important for FAIR (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability) purposes. Understandably, all requirements may not be met by novice authors and research groups, however, best put must be put forth to meet the standards as a practice.

Lista Aluminiumverk, Farsund
