Quality learning outcomes can only be achieved through a quality learning process. The situation faced by the author is that the learning outcomes in Mathematics among fifth-grade students at GMIT Atambua III are low. This is due to the teaching methods used by the teacher, which are primarily lecture-based, and a lack of active participation from the students. This study aims to develop and implement an innovative and interactive learning model in mathematics education to enhance active participation and student understanding of concepts. This learning model is designed to address the challenges in mathematics education that are often perceived as difficult and boring by students. The research procedure involves stages of planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the learning model through classroom teaching activities. This model combines active learning strategies, such as group discussions, educational games, and the use of visual aids. The research results indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of mathematical concepts as well as their motivation to participate in learning. The use of this innovative and interactive model also helps reduce students' boredom with the subject of mathematics. The conclusion of this study is that the innovative and interactive learning model can improve the quality of mathematics education in the classroom. As a followup, it is recommended that this model be tested in various learning environments and educational levels to measure its effectiveness more broadly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
