- Abstract
Teachers must carry out innovation and learning reform to face digital transformation. Teachers must be able to find the right formula for preparing effective learning plans that suit the needs of students to meet the challenges of the 21st century. This research explores how primary teachers' understanding of the design and subsequent use of digital tools in their scientific instruction develops as they participate in digital didactic design (DDD). How elementary teachers might increase their expertise of teaching using digital technology is the topic of the study. The method of this article is the systematic literature review, using literature reviews from various sources, both journals, books, and other supporting sources. The findings show that DDD has the potential to foster profound learning experiences by providing a framework that invites educators and researchers to research, investigate, and evaluate the actual designs that are being used in classrooms, where teachers are actively involved in the design process. A new way of thinking about planning, carrying out, and commenting on teaching and learning is provided by DDD. Our empirical research's findings support the use of educational technology in learning expeditions as an effort to shift away from conventional course-based learning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Christian education is a God-centred education, having a transformative and holistic purpose to reconcile students who have fallen into sin and restore the image of God in students. Teachers as transformative and holistic agents need to have the right perspective on students. The teacher's perspective on students will affect the pedagogical competence of the teacher. A good pedagogical competence can create meaningful learning. However, in reality, secular philosophy has influenced teachers in achieving educational purpose as well as the way teachers view students. Secular education makes the teacher as the centre of education and views the students as machines or robots that receive knowledge according to what the teacher delivers. The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of pedagogical competence of teachers in Christian philosophy. This study uses a literature review method by researching several theories and journals. The results showed that it is important for Christian teachers as co-workers of God to develop pedagogical competence. Through this competence, it will help Christian teachers in applying learning methods that are able to transform students to be more like Christ. In conclusion, the basic thing that teachers need to have is awareness and humility to continuously learn and develop every ability they have as a form of accountability before God.

VOCATIONAL school students ,LEARNING readiness ,ACADEMIC achievement ,CLASSROOM environment ,PARTIAL least squares regression - Abstract
The learning process in vocational schools has different characteristics compared to that of the non-vocational. Students' readiness is one significant variable in determining students' learning success. Hence, identifying the antecedent of the variable is necessary. The research aimed to measure the contribution of academic supervision through teachers' professional and pedagogic competence and its impact on vocational school students' learning readiness. The quantitative research employed ex-post facto design with partial least square equation modelling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypothesis. Non-probability sampling, particularly purposive sampling, was used to take the samples, which were 71 teachers and 96 students in three private vocational schools in Gunung Kidul Regency, Indonesia. Meanwhile, the data were analyzed using PLS-SEM because the study involved less than 100 samples. The results showed pedagogic competence contributes to learning readiness, professional competence does not contribute to learning readiness, academic supervision contributes to pedagogic competence, and academic supervision contributes to professional competence. Besides, indirect effect scores concluded two points: academic supervision through teachers' professional competence contributes to learning readiness and academic supervision through a teacher's professional competence does not contribute to learning readiness. The principals and teachers can use the findings to improve their performance at school and in the classroom. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aimed to determine the effect of explain-analysis-doingdiscussion or known as ex-add learning techniques on critical thinking skills and pedagogic competence of Islamic religious education students at State Islamic University (UIN) Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi and at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, Indonesia. The approach used quantitative with quasiexperimental techniques. The number seen in this study was 31 students from UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. The data were obtained using tests, namely pretest, and posttest. The test instrument was in the form of multiple-choice questions, each consisting of 40 questions. Data analysis was carried out using percentage techniques, N-gain analysis, and a T-test. Based on the data and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that the ex-add technique in ‘learning methods and strategies’ can increase critical thinking skill (CTS) and pedagogic competence (PC) respectively by 78 .23% in the ‘high’ category and 59.81% in the ‘medium’ category. This is reinforced by the results of the T-test that both variables obtain a value (2- tailed) of 0.000<0.05. This means that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest scores for each variable. In other words, it can be said that the increase in student CTS and PC after participating in learning with the ex-add technique is significant. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study examines the relationship among the variables that affect the pedagogic competence of Islamic education teachers in Gorontalo. These consist of effective classroom management, effective teaching practices, technology skills, and effective assessment variables. Furthermore, the respondents in this study are 320 Islamic religious education teachers selected by a cluster sampling technique. Here in after, the data were analyzed using a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach due to the implementation of multivariate analysis of the relationship among variables with the help of LISREL in order to describe the structural model. The results indicated that not all relationships among variables possessed a positive and significant influence on Islamic religious teachers' pedagogic competence. In addition, this study showed only three relationships among the latent variables that have a positive and significant effect on teachers pedagogical competence, namely effective classroom management (A) to effective teaching practice (B) with a Tvalue of 5.37, effective classroom management (A) to technological skills (C) with a T-value of 4.10, and effective teaching practice (B) to technology skill (C) with a T-value of 2.55. Thus, teachers' pedagogical competence plays a significant role in achieving successful learning by considering to link one variable to another. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The competencies possessed by teachers have not been as expected, as evidenced by the average value of pedagogic competencies, which are still low compared to the results of professional competence scores on the Teacher Competency Test. This study aimed to develop a model for improving the pedagogic competence of Physical Education teachers which was arranged into a module that contains how to develop a learning implementation plan, how to create and use the learning media, how to create and use the teaching materials, and how to prepare and implement the learning assessments. The development tests that were carried out were: 1) alpha test, 2) beta test, and 3) final product validation. The alpha test is a product validation test by three experts, while the beta test is a load and product suitability test involving 27 teachers and 3 supervisors, followed by a final product validation stage involving 84 teachers who are divided into two groups, namely experimental and control. The research instruments used were a questionnaire and a competency improvement scale. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive data analysis, gain score data analysis, and t-test. Based on the results of the assessment at the alpha test, beta test, and program validation stages, the resulting product was declared suitable for use as a teaching material set. Furthermore, through the process of testing the effectiveness of the product, the model of increasing pedagogic competence based on teaching materials is proven to be effective and can significantly improve the pedagogic competence of Physical Education teachers.

Along with the times, education and human thinking continue to change and develop dynamically. The purpose of this essay is to determine the value of instructors' pedagogic ability in teaching Generation Z in the twenty-first century. There is a gap in the learning process in the classroom because teachers and students have different periods of study, so it is necessary to know the pedagogic competence of teachers in the 21st century and the human characteristics of Generation Z. This study method uses systematic literature review. A total of 20 scientific articles were published in various national and international journals and analyzed according to the theme of pedagogic studies. The problem that occurs today in general is that there is a gap in the delivery of teaching materials in the classroom due to the teacher's lack of understanding in recognizing the characteristics of students. Current students belong to Generation Z, which is a different generation from the teacher, so teachers need to upgrade their pedagogical knowledge so that it becomes an expected competency in the classroom. The results of this study are expected that teachers can develop their pedagogical competencies so that classroom learning can run well and fun. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Covid 19 pandemic has changed the world to adapt to a new normal era. Inevitable changes occur in several dimensions of life. One of them is education. The Blended Learning model is also increasingly being used. The Blended Learning Model requires mixed media as well. One of them is learning videos. This research is an actualization of a mentoring program for MI Teachers in the City of Salatiga in making video learning media using the Canva and Kinemaster applications. The aim of this program is to increase teachers' pedagogic abilities in providing a more attractive and efficient learning environment and Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). But it does not eliminate the interaction of teachers and students. The result of this program is that at the end of the training, teachers have been able to make videos based on these two applications and use them in learning. Apart from using it in their own learning, the teachers also share the videos with the public via their YouTube channel and with their colleagues. They also provide video-making tutoring to other fellow teachers who don't have the opportunity to take part in the training.
