This study evaluates parental views on first grade teachers in primary schools. The aim of this research is to gather insights from parents of students in the first grade, focusing on their opinions about first grade teachers. A case study, which is one of the qualitative research designs, was chosen to determine these views. The study group consists of parents of students attending first grade in schools affiliated with the Osmaniye Provincial Directorate of National Education during the 2023-2024 academic year. The study group was determined by purposive sampling and consists of 53 parents. In this research, structured interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research data collection methods, was used. Content analysis, which is among the qualitative data analysis techniques, was utilized to analyze the data obtained from the study. According to the results of the research; the majority of first grade parents stated that first grade teachers are fundamental to education, act as role models and parent figures for students, and they highlighted that first grade teachers should be understanding, compassionate, and sensitive to individual differences, distinct from teachers at other grade levels. Based on the results of the study, it can be suggested that seminars on teachers' rights, authorities and responsibilities, and curriculum content be given to parents. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
