This study aims to elaborate on the implementation of critical thinking values in several textbooks used in Indonesia as an essential aspect of the Pancasila Student Profile. The research approach utilized a qualitative content analysis method to examine elements of critical thinking in four Grade IV Indonesian Language textbooks within the Merdeka Curriculum, published by Erlangga, Yudistira, Bumi Aksara, and Kemendikbudristek. The findings showed that Grade IV Indonesian Language textbooks from these four publishers clearly implemented critical thinking characteristics, each with different emphases. Erlangga focuses on "Obtaining and Processing Information and Ideas," Yudistira emphasizes "Reflecting on Thought and Thought Processes," while Bumi Aksara highlights "Considering and Solving Problems." Lastly, the textbook from Kemendikbudristek also placed more focus on the "Considering and Solving Problems" element. Nevertheless, each textbook adopts a unique approach in fostering students' critical thinking and character development. Conceptually, the implementation of this study’s findings underscores the importance of varied approaches in teaching critical values, while practically encouraging educators and the curriculum to formulate balanced strategies for developing students’ skills in line with the Pancasila Student Profile.

The Situational Judgment Test (SJT) is very well known for measuring non-cognitive and non-academic attributes. Merdeka Curriculum contains the ‘Pancasila’ Student Profiles, those are global diversity, cooperation, critical reasoning, creativity and independence. This systematic literature review answers three basic questions, namely (1) in what fields is SJT used and for what purposes? (2) what dimensions in the Pancasila Student Profiles have been measured using the SJT method? , (3) how does technology influence the implementation of SJT? The Scopus database with the keyword Situational Judgment Test from 2013 to 2024 was explored and filtered using the PRISMA stages and measurement variables that were appropriate to the profile of Indonesian students. The results show that the medical sector uses SJT the most for student selection purposes. Indicators in the profile of Indonesian students namely collaboration, teamwork, empathy, cultural competence, understanding of ethnic diversity, decision-making skills, exploration, emotional management and emotional intelligence have appeared to be measured using the SJT method, and gamification, video and computer based test technology have been utilized in the implementation of SJT.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening training for Early Childhood Education teachers using the expository method. The expository method was chosen to provide a systematic and direct understanding of the Pancasila student profile concept, where participants received material through lectures and presentations delivered by the training facilitators. This research employed a quantitative approach by collecting data through post-training evaluation tests to measure the teachers' level of understanding of the presented material. The training results showed that 80% of the participants successfully comprehended the Pancasila student profile concept and were able to design activities relevant to its objectives, while 20% of the participants did not fully grasp the material. Factors influencing these differing results include participants' prior knowledge, professional experience, and the intensity of their engagement in the training sessions. Based on these findings, it is recommended that follow-up training adopt more interactive learning methods, such as group discussions and case studies, to enhance the understanding of participants who have not yet mastered the concepts optimally. Character Strengthening ,Local Wisdom ,Pancasila Student Profile ,Education (General) ,L7-991 - Abstract
Integrating local wisdom into Indonesian language learning can enhance students' love and pride in their own culture while helping them understand the values embedded within it. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method aimed at analyzing the needs of students and teachers for teaching materials based on local wisdom in the subject responding to and analyzing texts. Research data were collected through surveys using questionnaires and interviews with seventh-grade students and Indonesian language teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah Rappang. The results showed that both students and teachers agreed on the integration of local wisdom to improve understanding of the learning material. The local wisdom concepts identified as essential are Sipakatau, Sipakalebbi, and Sipakainge. The preferred types of teaching materials include both print and electronic formats. Therefore, it is recommended to design and develop teaching materials based on local wisdom to support character development aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile framework. In conclusion, integrating local wisdom into teaching materials for responding to and analyzing texts is a crucial need to enrich students' learning experiences and foster character development rooted in cultural values and Pancasila principles.

Arabic plays an important role in the history of education in Indonesia and must remain as focus of attention. Arabic language learning at MTs under the Ministry of Religious Affairs needs to be well-integrated into the existing curriculum, so that it is relevant to the values promoted by the current vision of Indonesian Education, especially the Pancasila Student Profile which focuses on building the character of students. However, in practice, Arabic language teaching materials at MTs are not fully connected to these values. For this reason, efforts are needed to test the feasibility of one of the teaching materials. In this context, the researcher chose the teaching material "al-Muthalaah" by Abu Abdurrohman to test its feasibility for the Pancasila Student Profile. Exploratory descriptives will be used in this feasibility test with the Miles and Huberman model data analysis technique. The validation test was carried out by two experts, including a material expert and a media expert. The validation test results show that al-Muthalaah's teaching materials received an average score of 87.75% and were categorized as extremely valid by material experts. The aspect of the relevance of teaching materials to the Pancasila Student Profile also received a high score with 95%. However, media experts gave an average score of 80% with the category being sufficiently valid and requiring slight revision. This shows that Al-Muthala'ah teaching materials were declared feasible and relevant to be applied in Arabic language learning at MTs. So that it can become practical material for aligning ourselves with the vision promoted by the government and also helps students understand and internalize the values that support their interactions with the surrounding environment.

This study aimed to investigate whether Physical Education (PE) in schools can strengthen the character of the Pancasila student profile of Indonesian citizens. In addition, it tried to find out the roles, strategies, gaps, and challenges encountered to achieve the objectives. Using a systematic literature review, this study collected data from articles searched through Google Scholar. The search focused on those published in Scopus-indexed journals between 2019 and 2024. During the search, inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied. The keywords used were; "Character Building And Students And Pancasila And Through And Physical Education And School". The initial search generated 5.790 articles. These articles were then screened again in several stages, and 16 articles that fit the theme and met the inclusion requirements were yielded. During the article selection, this study followed the PRISMA guidelines. The findings of this study confirmed that the integration of Pancasila values in PE at school plays a strategic role in creating student character that is in line with the state ideology of Indonesia. PE not only improves physical abilities but also becomes an effective means to internalize social values such as gotong royong (community cooperation), tolerance, honesty, and integrity, which are the core of Pancasila. Nonetheless, this study found a significant gap between Pancasila-based character education policy and practice on the ground. This gap was mainly due to teachers' lack of preparedness, limited professional training, and resource disparities. These challenges were compounded by academic pressures that reduce the focus on character development, as well as social norms that inhibit inclusivity, such as discrimination against students with disabilities. Addressing these challenges requires a holistic approach that includes the development of a more integrative curriculum, improved training and professional development for teachers, and the use of innovative and inclusive teaching methods. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of collaboration between government, schools and communities to create supportive learning environments, as well as greater investment in PE infrastructure. Character measurement has become increasingly relevant and needed in recent years due to its significant impact on an individual’s success in various aspects of life. However, existing methods of character measurement such as self-assessment, peer assessment, and observation, still have many limitations. The Situational Judgement Test (SJT) is a behavioral measurement tool with the ability to minimise measurement bias. Therefore, this study aims to demonstrate the content and construct validity of the SJT-based PSP instrument and estimate its reliability. The research findings include an Aiken’s V index of 0.864, loading factor of all variables ≥ 0.5, Goodness of Fit statistics with χ2/df = 122.299/48, CFI = 0.938, TLI = 0.915, RMSEA = 0.066, and SRMR = 0.046, all within the good fit category. The empirical data of PSP align with the GRM model, with item fitness MNSQ method showing 59 items fit to the model. PSP has a Construct Reliability (CR) of 0.967 and an Average Variance Explained (AVE) of 0.830. These findings contribute theoretically and practically to the field of measurement, indicating that the SJT-based instrument is valid and reliable for measuring the PSP.

Indonesia is in the fifth highest position out of 78 countries where most of the students experience bullying. The Ministry of Education and Culture has issued various policies intended to overcome this problem, one of which is establishing the Pancasila student profile as the vision of Indonesian education. To support this, educators are needed who have high qualifications, competence, and dedication in carrying out their professional duties. Based on extracting information from preliminary research that has been carried out by researchers, the main problem faced by early childhood teachers is the lack of references regarding activities that can be carried out by early childhood teachers to realize the themes set by the Ministry in realizing an integrated Pancasila student profile, teaching media, and evaluation tools. This research aims to produce an activity book for teachers based on social emotional learning, which has been proven to be practical and effective in increasing the competency of early childhood postal teachers, and to produce an activity book for students based on social emotional learning which has an impact on the growth and development of Pancasila student profiles for PAUD students. The data collection and analysis methods used in the first year were documentation methods to obtain data on teaching materials before they were developed, questionnaires to obtain expert validation data, and readability by partner teachers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning paradigm in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era began, requiring students and teachers to carry out an electronic-interned learning process. Reading skills, as an entryway for learning language and other subjects, have become a strategic step that can increase learning 4.0 in terms of cognitive (literacy and numeracy) or non-cognitive (character) components. There have been teaching resources, particularly in the genre of language texts. However, it is still usually in the form of printed books or e-books that do not focus on character education. Consequently, the researchers developed "Literasiku 1", a Digital Reading Box that includes the AIR flow in tasks and activities that show different types of text genres: descriptive, procedural, fantasy, and inspirational stories mixed with fascinating pictures and video illustrations. The research findings can help teachers apply character education in language learning based on the six components of the Pancasila student profile. Furthermore, this product can provide students with information on digital literacy relevant to their needs, as evidenced by the development of texts close to the natural environment or tangible things. Educators must serve as role models for students by highlighting the ideals of the Pancasila student profile through their examples. Teachers who instruct in the classroom can impart this. Instructors serve as role models for moral behavior, modeling moral principles in their interactions and behaviors. Based on the Pancasila profile ideals, students are therefore more likely to emulate and accept the behavior displayed by their teachers. The purpose of this study is to describe two things: 1) how teachers implement Pancasila profile values to help students develop their character and behavior as a class culture; and 2) how they integrate Pancasila student profile values into the cultural context of vocational school classes. This kind of study is qualitative and descriptive. Participants in this study included two teachers one for the basic PPLG skills program and the other for homeroom as well as class X PPLG students. Two participants' in-person interviews, four hours of subject observation, and documentation were employed as the data-gathering methods. The study's findings demonstrate how X PPLG at SMK N Solo uses classroom culture as a platform for character development. Although there is no physical barrier between the teacher and the pupils in this approach, the teacher still serves as the class leader and an example for the students. The instructor highlights the importance of the Pancasila student profile in the learning process. This attempts to mold kids' honorable and moral character.

The transformation of education in Indonesia after Covid-19 has experienced quite significant changes, namely the latest Merdeka Belajar curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum develops learning according to interests, learning styles and abilities that are connected to the competence of teachers and students. There are six competencies in Pancasila students formulated as key dimensions that are interrelated and strengthen each other, namely 1) faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character, 2) global diversity, 3) mutual cooperation, 4) independence, 5) critical reasoning , and 6) creativity which then requires module development. This research aims to produce a product, namely a project module for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students which includes ethnomathematics. Etonmathematics means a module developed by integrating curriculum, pedagogy, mathematics and local wisdom. The use of local wisdom as an integrated module for the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students makes students trained and able to explore mathematical concepts that exist in their cultural environment. In this research, the context is local ethnomathematics wisdom in Tuban Regency, East Java. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research with a 4D model. 4D model design consists of four flows, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Desseminase. This development research was validated with 3 validators, namely design validator, language validator and material validator. The validation results from the design validation were 88%, which means it is suitable for use, the language validator is 94%, which means it is suitable for use, and the material validator is 90%, which means it is suitable for use. Then the module was tested on 48 phase A students. The average pretest result from trial 1 was 62.75, then in trial 2 it was 63.75. Followed by the posttest results from trial 1, namely 90.33 and trial 2, namely 91.58. After carrying out the pre-test and post-test at the trial stage, the researcher calculated the N-Gain Score value, namely N-Gain trial 1, namely getting a score of 0.76 which means high and getting an interpretation of N-Gain effectiveness of 76.78% which means effective. Then students filled out a student response questionnaire, and obtained presentation results of 85% in the very satisfied category. So it can be concluded that the project module for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students based on ethnomathematics in the Phase A independent curriculum in elementary schools that was developed is suitable for use and effective in learning mathematics.

The use of plants by local communities as ingredients for daily needs such as medicine, art, cosmetics and others is known as ethnobotany. In the context of cosmetics, ethnobotany is concerned with the use of plants in the formulation of natural beauty and skin care products. This research aimed to examine the use of plants as cosmetic ingredients by the Baduy people, an ethnic group in the Banten Province of Indonesia, which is famous for its local wisdom and strong traditions. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and literature study. Key informants were selected using purposive sampling and selected traditional leaders (pu'un), the inner Baduy community, the outer Baduy community, and elders in the Baduy tribe. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The research succeeded in identifying 22 species of plants used for body care activities such as body scrubs, facial masks, eye moisturizers, teeth cleaners, powder, lip color, perfume, soap, shampoo and hair oil. Knowledge and habits regarding the use of this plant have been passed down from generation to generation to maintain healthy skin, teeth, eyes and hair. The implementation of this research is used as a recommendation as content in Biology learning, especially in the project to strengthen the Pancasila students Profile through the preparation of teaching modules with a culturally responsive teaching (CRT) approach as an effort to preserve traditional knowledge, promote sustainability in the use of natural resources, and develop potential environmentally friendly cosmetic products. This study explores the planning of character education projects to strengthen the Pancasila student profile through local culture in early childhood education at TK Sukoharjo 1 and TK Desa Majasto 02. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings reveal comprehensive strategies for planning, implementing, and evaluating character education projects. At TK Sukoharjo 01, the project involved forming a facilitator team, identifying readiness stages, and developing specific learning modules. Implementation utilized real-life experiences such as gardening and local markets, while evaluation focused on cooperation, communication, and care. At TK Desa Majasto 02, the project preparation included curriculum development, facilitator team formation, and methods centered around the local culture of "Ngapem," emphasizing global diversity, cooperation, and independence. The implications of these findings are profound for educational policy and practice. Integrating local cultural practices into character education effectively strengthens the Pancasila student profile, fostering values essential for national cohesion and global citizenship. These insights suggest that policymakers and educators should adopt similar culturally embedded educational frameworks, ensuring that character education is theoretically sound, practically relevant, and contextually appropriate. Despite the promising outcomes, limitations include the study's scope confined to two early childhood centers and reliance on qualitative data. Future research should explore applying similar projects in diverse settings, investigating long-term impacts, and integrating quantitative measures to enhance the evidence base. This study examines the effectiveness of the Garuda Book, a tailored educational tool for instilling the Pancasila Student Profile in early childhood education within Indonesia's Independent Curriculum framework. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) approach, this research involved creating, implementing, and evaluating the Garuda Book in an early childhood educational setting at RA Nurul Hadina. The study's methodology incorporated the development of project activities linked to the curriculum, including "I Love the Earth" and "I Love Indonesia," with the book designed for durability and child appeal. Data collection entailed various questionnaires assessing media and material validity and the effectiveness of the Garuda Book in imparting Pancasila values. Results indicated a significant improvement in children's understanding and embodiment of Pancasila values post-intervention, as evidenced by increased scores in assessments related to faith, diversity, cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. However, challenges such as teachers' limited understanding of the independent curriculum were noted, necessitating further training. This study's findings underscore the potential of contextually relevant educational tools like the Garuda Book in early childhood education, contributing substantially to pedagogical practices aimed at value formation. Future research could explore such tools' longterm impacts and adaptability across diverse educational contexts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
