The content of this thesis deals with emergency situations and behavior during their occurrence. The main objective was to investigate the awareness of the population of the Karlovy Vary region regarding behavior during emergency situations. This knowledge was verified by a questionnaire survey, which also tested the theoretical knowledge of the population in this field. Based on the results obtained from the questionnaire, a proposal for a possible two-hour seminar was created to supplement the missing knowledge and strengthen the existing one. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of an emergency event and its classification according to the method of occurrence. The issue of civilian protection is also addressed, including the evacuation of civilians, warning of the population, evacuation bags, and improvised means of protection. The reader will also learn what a crisis situation is and how to distinguish between its types. The basic components of the integrated rescue system and their tasks are listed here as well. The last chapter covers selected emergency events and recommendations on how to behave during them. The practical part is devoted to the research survey itself. The following work deals with the genus Malus in terms of the significant diversity that this genus represents. It summarizes a basic knowledge about the taxonomic position and world centers of the genus evolution. Part of the thesis also discussed reproductive mechanisms as a source of the genus diversity. The thesis then focuses on the species Malus domestica, its evolution and the hybrid origin. In this context, old varieties of apple trees, their significance and pomologically important regions of the Czech Republic are presented. An integral part of this work is also devoted to the protection of old varieties, its limits and possibilities. The protection of old varieties also encompasses the extensive orchard as an important agroecosystem. Finally, different Czech regions are compared with respect to the quantity of reported old varieties.

This thesis deals with the establishment and operation of the Delta rescue unit, established at nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic. Although in principle the activities that are conducted in both facilities are the same, due to certain differences, the thesis will deal in more detail with the specification of the unit located at the Temelin nuclear power plant.

In nuclear power plants, we encounter a number of safety systems that complement, replace or assist each other and thus reliably perform their safety functions. A number of advanced tools are currently used to develop and test these safety systems, which must meet not only industry standards but also legislative regulations and directives. These tools include the very powerful industrial simulation program Apros 6 Nuclear, which was developed directly for use in nuclear power plants, and is therefore able to help meet the requirements of nuclear power plants in the field of nuclear safety. Within the theoretical part of this work, the issues of safety of industrial units, safety of nuclear facilities and demonstration of the Apros 6 program itself, including a description of the work in this program, are presented. This therefore means acquaintance with the most important terms used in nuclear safety, with the structure and classification of safety systems used in nuclear power plants and with the basic principles used in the field of nuclear safety. The last theoretical chapter introduces the Apros 6 program itself, the basic tasks that can be performed in it and which were used in the practical part to create a model structure. After getting acquainted with the theoretical contexts, the practical part of the work emphasizes the characteristics of a specific safety system of the primary circuit of Dukovany NPP and the implementation of the model of this safety system in the program Apros 6 Nuclear. The content of the model is an introduction and description of all the most important parts together with their settings and location.

Protection of a victim of a criminal offence Abstract This thesis adresses the protection of victims of crime, a serious and currently very topical issue. The initial part of the thesis is devoted to victimology as a scientific field, the subject of which is mainly the victim of crime. This chapter introduces basic victimological concepts that are important for a comprehensive understanding of the issue under study. The next chapter provides a brief overview and comparison of the definition of a victim across basic international documents, EU legislation, and the legal order of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, this section proceeds to analyse and evaluate the currently valid definitions of victim and particularly vulnerable victim as defined in the Victims Act, and offers a brief introduction of the Act. Subsequently, the third chapter describes and analyses the individual rights that victims are entitled to exclusively under the above-mentioned law, and, in the light of the findings from practice, presents a proposals for their improvement. The Victim Act has established a number of important rights that improve the legal position of victims, nonetheless their exercise is problematic in certain cases, in particular with regard to the victim's right to information. The submitted work is focused on selected rock-climbing areas in the Czech Republic, characterizes those areas by terms of their location and the predominant type of rock, shows and describes the characteristics of the individual rocks, including their propensity to destruction by natural as well as anthropogenic factors. Included in this work is also a brief introduction to the history of rock climbing in our country and describing the differences in the rock-climbing techniques and the usage of different rock-climbing equipment on each type of rock. The last part focuses on the possibilities of protection of often inadvertently damaged rocky areas, including photo documentation of the various types of damage with added commentary.

As endemics are considered plant and animal species including birds, which are in the focus of this thesis, that are found in a restricted geographic region and nowhere else in the world. Such endemics typically occur on the islands that are often recognized as important global biodiversity hotspots. However, many endemic species are very vulnerable due to numerous factors (mainly genetic and demographic) closely linked to the way of life on the islands. Huge effort is dedicated to their conservation, and it thus reasonable to ask whether such an effort made a significant contribution to prevent their loss. Here, I evaluate the overall success of island bird endemics conservation compared to continental conditions because such a global analysis has been lacking up to now. In addition, this thesis examines how three major threatening factors (namely habitat destruction, invasive species, and overexploitation) driven by anthropogenic activities affect population trends of continental and island bird species. Finally, I mapped and explained, using examples, which conservation tools are effective for supporting the populations of island endemic species. Článek se zabývá následkem uplatnění nároků na náhradu nemajetkové újmy z titulu práva na ochranu osobnosti. Jeho primárním cílem je nalézt odpověď na otázku, zda jsou rozhodnutí o těchto nárocích konstitutivní nebo deklaratorní povahy. Správná klasifikace rozhodnutí o nárocích na náhradu nemajetkové újmy má význam nejen teoretický, ale i z hlediska právní jistoty a správného rozsahu žalobního nároku. The article deals with the consequences of claims for compensation for non-pecuniary damage under the right to protection of personality. Its primary aim is to answer the question whether the decisions on these claims are constitutive or declaratory in nature. The correct classification of decisions on claims for non-pecuniary damage is not only of theoretical importance, but also of importance in terms of legal certainty and the correct scope of the claim. The article deals with the consequences of claims for compensation for non-pecuniary damage under the right to protection of personality. The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to describe process of making training panels for course elektrotechnology. The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part describes the function and principl of electrical components used for the panels construction. The second part describes procedure of creating schemas, construction and its functionality and controls.

This bachelor thesis offers an analysis and evaluation of the knowledge of individual members of selected fire departments when responding to industrial chemical accidents. Since this issue affects most of the Czech Republic, the thesis is not focused on any particular region. The theoretical part provides an introduction to the issue. First of all, it deals with chemical accidents in general, their causes and manifestations, followed by the toxicology of selected industrial chemicals and a simple list of the provisions of Act No. 224/2015 Coll., on the prevention of major accidents. The subsequent passage of the theoretical part concerns fire departments, primarily those targeted in the practical part of the work. This presented here are their activities during various types of responses, in particular to chemical accidents. Also included is a list of the activities of departments set up to respond to accidents with hazardous substances. The last part of the theory talks about the basics of physical protection against chemicals and decontamination. The aim of the thesis is to compare the results of the research with general procedures and requirements. The practical part of this bachelor thesis consists of the research itself and a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire is mainly designed to map out the knowledge of the individual respondents. The questions are mainly based on the Fire Fighting Code of the fire departments and the related Performance Regulations of corporate fire departments, volunteer municipal fire departments and volunteer fire brigades of companies. The questions were chosen to cover what I consider to be the core issues. The results of the research have been presented graphically and all questions discussed individually.

In present time the high efficiency switching DC/DC converters, e.g. buck and boost are often used. This work describes some problems of DC-DC converters, which can occur, when the load is suddenly disconnected or simultaneous disconnection of the load and the capacitor at the output. The results were derived both by simulation but also by measurement. A special measuring system has been developed for these measurements, which enables the realization of fault conditions. Therefore, measurements were performed on 2 different types of DC-DC converters. The results of simulations and measuring are presented in the work. Error conditions usually cause an overvoltage that can damage the equipment connected to the converter. A solution how to prevent overvoltage and thus damage connected systems is also described.

Hunting law as a tool for environmental protection In the scope of three main chapters, introduction and conclusion, the thesis attempts to capture the relationship between the Czech hunting legislation and nature conservation. The question is whether we can consider the current concept of the Hunting Act (449/2001 Sb.) as one of the tools of environmental protection. For the elaboration I based the research, among other things, on my personal experience with pro-landscape hunting in the vicinity of the village Vinaře, Central Bohemia. Furthermore, I elaborated on interesting cases of judicial and administrative practice and, last but not least, I took into account the relevant legal norms and appropriate literature or professional texts. The first chapter deals in more detail with the very concept of hunting, including various interpretations and therefore also meanings. The second part of the first chapter describes - rather briefly - the history of hunting predominantly in the Czech territory. In this context, greater emphasis is placed primarily on the first signs of nature protection. The subject of the Bachelor thesis entitled "Security Measures to Protect Soft Targets Around the World" is to map of security measures of soft targets in the world. The thesis is mainly focused on the measures of soft targets before emergencies and terrorist attacks. The aim of this work was to compare individual terrorist attacks on soft targets in selected countries and to test public awareness in the area of soft targets and terrorism. The theoretical part is divided into four main chapters. The first of these chapters provides basic information about soft targets, such as their definition, their distribution, as well as what makes soft targets attractive, how they are protected in the event of danger then general methods of protecting soft targets and protecting them in selected countries around the world. The second chapter deals with security measures and basic information about attacks on soft targets. The third chapter is about terrorism. Its definitions, division and types of terrorist attack. The fourth chapter describes specific terrorist attacks on soft targets. There were the terrorist attacks commited by organized groups on soft targets described in detail in the practical part. These attacks were further compared. Afterwards there was Quantitative research demonstrated by a questionnaire survey. The purpose of the questionnaire was to find out how the general public is doing in the field of knowledge of soft targets and terrorism. Based on the research, it can be stated that the general public is well versed in the issue of soft targets and terrorism and is informed in this area. After a comparison of terrorist attacks, it was found that thanks to individual politicians of selected states, it is possible that a similar act could be committed on the territory of the Czech Republic. The results of this bachelor thesis can serve for a deep study of this issue.

Prohibition of diskrimination, constitutional legal level of protection of the rights of ethnic minorities against discrimination Abstract The thesis deals with the concept of discrimination from a theoretical and practical point of view and focuses closely on the issue of ethnic minorities and racism. To clarify the whole issue, the work is presented by the theoretical inclusion of anti-discrimination law in the legal framework of human rights law in both the Czech Republic and the global framework in the form of international agreements. It deals with ideological sources, including the historical origin of law related to discrimination. It also contains a definition of basic concepts, which are necessary to clarify this complex phenomenon. It thematically defines both the legal regulation of individual protection of the individual and the collective concept of protection against discrimination and the rights of ethnic minorities as a whole. The main part of this work refers about case law in the field of discrimination on the grounds of ethnicity or nationality and all other forms of protection against illegal exclusion or segregation. 1 Protection against discrimination in employment relations Abstract The thesis discusses legal instruments of protection against discrimination in labor relations which are applied in accordance with the current legislation of the Czech Republic. Using the perspective of the discriminated employee, the thesis distinguishes between preventive and reparatory instruments. However, the thesis indicates that the boundary between these two basic categories is often blurred. In the introductory chapters, the thesis attempts to identify and define the features of discriminatory behavior, which, according to the theory of law, lies within the domain of private and public law. The thesis points to the intertwining of public and private law as a typical feature of labor law. The related second chapter reviews the parallel existence of the public interest in protection against discrimination in employment relationships and the private interest - or individual claims - of discriminated employees. However, exercising the public interest on the one hand, and exercising personal, legitimate interests of employees on the other cannot be understood as antagonism. Slovenská príroda, krajina a životné prostredie, ako aj organizácie a iniciatívy na ich ochranu prešli za uplynulých 30 rokov zložitým vývojom. Podobne zložito sa vyvíjala aj percepcia tejto problematiky zo strany verejnosti. Vari najvýstižnejšie sa dá tento vývoj charakterizovať slovíčkom nejednoznačný. Pokrok pri znižovaní znečistenia ovzdušia, vôd a ďalších zložiek životného prostredia sprevádzala bezprecedentná neúcta k iným jeho zložkám, najmä k zeleni a úrodným orným pôdam, celkové dlhodobé podfinancovanie starostlivosti o ŽP a zaostávanie v budovaní environmentálnej infraštruktúry (najmä kanalizácií a čistiarní odpadových vôd) ako aj riešenia problematiky starých environmentálnych záťaží. Príspevok sa zameriava na stručnú charakteristiku stavu a vývoja jednotlivých zložiek životného prostredia, úspechy a neúspechy pri ich ochrane, ako aj na úlohu jednotlivých aktérov tohto procesu. Súčasťou príspevku sú aj výsledky niektorých výskumov, zameraných na reflexiu tejto problematiky zo strany verejnosti., Slovak nature, landscape and environment, as well as organizations and initiatives for their protection have undergone complex developments over the past 30 years. Perception of the issue by general public was similarly complex. In an attempt to be precise, this development should be characterized ambiguously. Progress in reducing air, water and other environmental pollution has been accompanied by unprecedented disrespect for its other components, in particular for vegetation, fertile arable land, which is accompanied by an overall long-term underfunding of environmental care and lagging behind in building environmental infrastructure (especially sewers and wastewater treatment plants) as well as in finding solutions to the issue of old environmental burdens. This article focuses on a brief description of the state and development of different components of the environment, successes and failures in their protection, as well as the role of specific actors in this process. The author also include the results of some of the research which focused at reflection of these issues by the public.

Technologie žárového nástřiku zajišťují ochranu povrchu součástí proti působení okolního prostředí i umožňují renovovat povrchy již opotřebené. jejich využití v oblasti jaderných a klasických elektráren, a to v rámci řešení projektu Národní centrum pro energetiku. Výzkum byl zaměřen na vývoj a testování funkčních vlastností vhodných materiálů povlaků a technologií nástřiku pro konkrétní aplikace. Pozornost byla zaměřena zejména na vývoj ochrany a renovaci povrchu kotlových těles a na preventivní nástřik kořenové oblasti heterogenních svarů. Pro nástřik nedemontovatelných částí kotlových těles byla zvolena mobilní technologie nástřiku elektrickým obloukem, pro nástřik vnitřního průměru kořene heterogenního svaru moderní technologie nástřiku za studena. Vyvinutý a optimalizovaný postup žárového nástřiku a různé materiálové kombinace byly ověřeny nástřikem reálných komponent. Prezentované výsledky byly získány v průběhu řešení projektu TA ČR TN01000007 Národní centrum pro energetiku. hermal spraying technologies make it possible to protect the surface of components against environmental influences and to renovate already worn surfaces. The potential of their use in the field of nuclear and conventional power plants was mapped within the solution of the National Centre for Energy project. The research was focused on the development and testing of functional properties of suitable coating materials and spraying technologies for specific applications. Attention was focused mainly on the development of protection and renovation of the surface of boiler bodies and on the preventive spraying of the root area of heterogeneous welds. The mobile technology of electric arc spraying was chosen for the spraying of non-dismantled parts of boiler bodies, while the modern technology of cold spraying was identified as suitable for the spraying of the inner diameter of the root of the heterogeneous welds. The developed spraying processes and material combinations were verified by spraying real components.
