Delivering multiple roles every single day, women are undoubtedly the backbone of any society. However, they have also been an ignored segment of the society in many parts of the world. To re-establish their rightful and distinguished status, empowerment programmes need to be started to provide a compact groundwork to encourage the inner strength and self-esteem for the rural women. This research contirubute to weaker section of the women in rural areas which uplift there standard of living through PMUJ scheme in Inida. The Government of India has initiated and implemented the scheme namely Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUJ)-Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) connection helping in a big way to rural women through empowering their livelihood and transforming behavioural changes from using cow dung cake, wood, kerosene to LPG in terms of improvement in health and increase the economic productivity by saving time spent on arranging cooking needs. The Ujjwala Yojana is aimed at substituting the unclean cooking fuels regularly used in the rural India with the clean LPG. It has been stated that nearly 38% of the world's population is still dependent on traditional biomass for cooking. But, in India, the women in rural area have limited access to cooking gas. According to experts, having an open fire in the kitchen by using biomass fuels is like burning 400 cigarettes an hour. Based on this background, this descriptive research paper analyses the impact of Ujjwala Yojana scheme and its effect on transforming the livelihood and behavioural changes among rural women in three select districts in Tamil Nadu, India. The sample unit in this study consist of rural women from eight villages covering six Taluk, who received LPG connection under PMUJ for cooking their food at home. The findings of the study revealed that, there is a positive impact and behavioural changes among rural women due to PMUY scheme.

Hyperthyroidism rarely cause paralysis by redistributive hypokalemia, with periodic attacks of paralysis termed as thyrotoxic periodic paralysis (TPP). It is more commonly seen in the Asian or Hispanic populations, genetic variation in Kir2.6, a muscle specific thyroid hormone responsive potassium channel cause predisposition of TPP. It typically presents in the early morning with limb weakness. Hyperthyroidism signs and symptoms are need not to be present in all patients. TPP attacks can be triggered by factors such a high-carbohydrate diet, sternous activity, mental stress, and steroids. TPP should be suspected in young patients presenting with acute muscle weakness and severe hypokalemia. Arrhythmias can be noted but most of these will resolve with normalization of potassium.

In this study, bioactivity and application of plant latex of Manilkara zapota in agriculture fields had been studied. Latex was collected, extracted and characterized with TLC, UV-Vis and GCMS analyses. Latex was also subjected for seed germination study, pot study and insecticidal activity. This latex was found to increase water holding capacity and soil porosity and soil structure was improved by latex. It was also inducing the root formation and enhances crop yields. It also shown insecticidal activity against mealy bugs.

Introduction and Aim: Sedentary habits, unhealthy dietary patterns and psychological stress are the major potential problems for the advancements of a various life style disorders like Diabetes mellitus. Yoga is a lifestyle intervention, an effort to keep the condition under control and ameliorate overall quality of life. The idea of this research study among Type II diabetics is to assess the effectiveness of metabolic control with life style intervention (yoga) for 6 months. Materials and Methods: 200 subjects aged 30–60 years of either gender recently diagnosed with Type II diabetes were randomized into 4 groups and were given 6 months intervention which included supervised regular yoga practice, diet and educational sessions. Weight, BMI, glucose, HbA1c, Insulin and lipid profile were measured before commencement, and after 6 months of the intervention. The statistical methods‘t’ test and ANOVA were applied to assess the “mean and difference” at p value 0.05. Results: Alterations in the life style of Type II diabetics with the intervention of yoga, diet and educational sessions showed a significant profitable impact on weight, BMI, fasting glucose, insulin, HbA1c, and lipid profile. Conclusion: Short term interventions produced positive modest changes in metabolic control. These lifestyle modifications with the intervention of yoga and diet counselling is effective in the management of weight loss, glycemic control, plasma Insulin and lipid profile levels which on longer duration may yield a better effective result along with constant motivation.

Introduction: Various appliances used in orthodontic treatment behave as plaque retentive sites which can harbor anaerobic microorganisms and this may be associated with a worsening of preexisting periodontal diseases or induce a variety of other conditions. There are contrary reports regarding the increased load of anaerobes during orthodontic treatment. This review aims to analyze the orthodontic literature regarding the prevalence of anaerobes before, during and after orthodontic treatment.Objective: To analyze the literature on the prevalence of anaerobic microbiota and its relationship with orthodontics by using the keywords “anaerobes” OR “anaerobic microbiome” OR “red complex bacteria” AND “orthodontic” OR “fixed appliance”.The Pubmed and Embase databases were searched till January 2022.Results: Orthodontic treatment increases the prevalence of anaerobic microbiota especially the orange and red complex bacteria. The removal of orthodontic appliances has shown a significant reduction in plaque along with the corresponding anaerobic pathogens.Conclusion: Proper maintenance of good oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment is essential to reduce the anaerobic microbial load, thus diminishing the risk of periodontal problems.

Potholes can cause damage such as punctures and wheel damage, dents and vehicle floor damage, vehicle collisions and serious accidents. Therefore, accurate and fast hole detection is one of the important tasks to determine the good strategic in the ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) service and in the route management system. Several efforts have been made for developing a technology which can automatically detect and recognize potholes, Since the image related to road damage includes objects such as holes, cracks, shadows and tracks, there is the problem that it is difficult to detect a specific object. In this paper, we propose a pothole classification model using edge detection in the road image. The proposed method converts RGB (red green and blue) image data, including holes and other objects, to grayscale to reduce the amount of computation. It detects all objects with the exception of holes using an object detection algorithm. The ultrasonic sensor detects holes and alerts the user.

In order to obtain environmentally friendly nanoparticles for the biological applications, this paper explores the green route for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles via sonic bath method using Haematocarpus validus fruit extract as reducing, capping and stabilizing agent. The phytochemical screening of ethanol extract reveals secondary metabolites like anthocyanins, polyphenol, flavonoids, alkaloids and tannins. The prepared gold nanoparticles (HVGNP) were analysed using UV, FTIR, XRD, EDX and FESEM spectroscopic techniques. The antioxidant activity of synthesized HVGNP measured by the DPPH method reveals the synthesized gold nanoparticles appreciable antioxidant activity.

According to Bramble and Panda, globalization plays a vital role in recognizing the necessity of providing online learning opportunities in higher education. The stakeholders and education institutions are very much concerned about the massive potential of online learning models. In the span of a decade, the demand for online courses has increased due to change in technology, lifestyle, economics, concerns of employees to develop knowledge, new competency skills and thinning out the geographical differences, etc. The innovative archetype of the online education is significant in quality, course content, satisfaction, and the perception of the users from various levels when compared to traditional face-to-face classroom systems. As a result, online education is more effective and efficient than the model of face-to-face education. The main objective of this research is to analyse and measure the various factors that affect employer perception towards online education systems in their recruitment process and cycle. 549 articles have been examined in terms of integrated literature review system to measure the impact. The result indicates, awareness, readiness, credentials and reputation are the major factors that affect employer perception on hiring decision.
