This paper intends to examine public secondary school head teachers competencies and their influence on teacher’s instructional decisions as well the overall school culture. This research paper endeavor to unravel secondary school principal’s managerial competencies and their influence on the performance of secondary school principals and such influence will help to stimulate and transform sophisticated school environment that will make strengthen student’s cognitive, affective as well psychomotor domains. Current study will cover following objective: “To determine the effectiveness of head teacher’s managerial skills on teacher’s academic performance at secondary school level”. Research design utilized for this study is of descriptive qualitative nature. Respondents of the study were secondary school principals/head Masters and secondary school teachers. Population of this research composed of all the 83 females’ secondary and 37 higher secondary schools. Sample of the study extracted from the population were 60 principals/ head masters and 120 secondary school teachers. Through proper consultation the researchers developed data collection instrument titled: “Principals’ Managerial Skills Scale”. Mean, Standard deviation was employed as a statistical data analysis tools. Data analysis was followed by conclusion to render realistic recommendations for the establishment of sophisticated school management.

The purpose of this study is to find out how the effectiveness of the E-Library of Angkasa Pura II (Elora) in increasing digital literacy at PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero). This type of research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research types. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results were carried out from the theory of program effectiveness according to Budiani (2007:53) with 4 (four) indicators. First, namely the accuracy of the program's targets is appropriate, seen from the exact program targets, which PT Angkasa Pura II is aimed at all employees who intend to increase their knowledge. Second, the socialization of the program cannot be said to be effective as seen from the fact that there are still many employees of PT Angkasa Pura II who have not used the Elora application because the socialization does not vary only through WhatsApp groups and corporate email. Third, the program objectives are appropriate, seen from the Elora application, it really helps employees in terms of increasing digital knowledge and literacy. Fourth, program monitoring has been carried out by the organizing team through monitoring and evaluation. In addition, program monitoring can also be seen at the Management Review Meeting every month, but there is still no follow-up to make improvements as a result of the evaluation carried out.

Superior mesenteric artery (SMA) aneurysm is a rare disease, especially if it is mycotic (infective) in origin. It is difficult to detect the problem during its initial natural course and usually presents in late phase due to its complications such as rupture, dissection, haemorrhage, and mesenteric ischaemia. Initially, the patient present with non-specific symptoms like vague colicky abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, discomfort, malaise, and low-grade fever but prompt workup and intervention can lead to definitive diagnosis and uneventful outcome. This report describes the case of a 60-year-old male patient who presented with non-specific abdominal symptoms and, on workup, was diagnosed with superior mesenteric artery mycotic aneurysm. It was successfully treated surgically by resection of aneurysm and reconstruction of superior mesenteric artery by inter-positional Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) synthetic vascular graft. Objective: To compare the prevalence of depression and anxiety between a public sector and a private medical college and assess the psychological health of medical students in general. Study Design: Cross-sectional Comparative study. Setting: Private and a Public Sector Medical College in Mirpur- Azad Kashmir. Period: January, 2020 - September 2020. Material & Methods: Total 434 students (217 from each college) of first year to final year MBBS were enrolled in the study after written informed consent. PHQ-9 questionnaire was used for screening depression and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) for anxiety. Students were classified as having minimal, mild, moderate, moderately severe and severe depression and for Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale, as having mild to moderate and moderate to severe anxiety. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 22. Frequency tables representing demographic profile of medical students were drawn. Results: Overall prevalence of depression was 62%. 29.4 % from public and 20.3% from private sector medical college’s students suffered from moderate to severe depression while 26.7% students from private sector and 20.7 % from public sector suffered from moderate to severe form of anxiety. Cross-tabulation results indicated that indicators of depression and anxiety were more commonly reported by the students of public medical college in comparison to the private medical college students. Conclusion: Significant psychological morbidity is experienced by medical students and its prevalence is higher in private sector medical college.

Historically, the most convenient and commonly employed route of drug delivery has been by oral ingestion. Oral drug delivery has been known for decades as the most widely utilized route of administration among all the routes that have been explored for the systemic delivery of drugs via various pharmaceutical products of different dosage forms. It is considered as the most natural, uncomplicated, convenient and safe route.

Pemerintah Kota merupakan penyelenggara pelayanan publik yang melaksanakan birokrasi. Pemerintah juga bertindak sebagai pengelola dokumentasi , arsip maupun data kependudukan. Maka pentingnya dilakukan pengelolaan arsip dengan baik agar mudah diakses dan dipergunakan oleh yang berhak menggunakannya. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan organisasi dibutuhkan sebuah administrasi yang baik untuk menjalankan roda organisasi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan arsip di Kota Tangerang Selatan belum berjalan dengan baik. Namun langkah Sekretariat Daerah Kota Tangerang Selatan Bagian Kesejahteraan Rakyat dalam melakukan Rapat Koordinasi mengenai pengelolaan arsip merupakan langkah yang tepat.

Salah satu bisnis milik negara Indonesia adalah PT Angkasa Pura II. Bagi PT Angkasa Pura II, Komitmen Penerapan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dipecahkan. Untuk melakukan ini, infrastruktur harus diperkuat, dan sistem serta proses harus secara otomatis ditingkatkan untuk mendukung penerapan Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Sebagai landasan untuk meningkatkan kinerja perseroan, Angkasa Pura II berkomitmen untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai Good Corporate Governance (GCG) yaitu Transparansi, Independensi, Akuntabilitas, Tanggung Jawab, Independensi, dan Kewajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan seberapa kuat tata kelola perusahaan yang diterapkan di PT Angkasa Pura II Divisi Airport Learning Center. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif diadopsi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PT Angkasa Pura II Divisi Airport Learning Center telah berhasil menerapkan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik.

Introduction: Alpha amylases are starch hydrolyzing enzymes that possess high industrial demand. Various strategies have been adopted to enhance cost-effective enzyme production of which utilization of agro-industrial waste is very promising. Methodology: In this study two amylase producers Bacillus megaterium and Exiguobacterium auranticum were isolated and identified by 16sRNA sequencing their growth conditions were optimized via submerged fermentation using banana peels as carbon source. Bacillus megaterium found to be mesophilic alkaline (37℃, pH of 9) strain giving 472 U/ml while Exiguobacterium auranticum found to be acidic thermophilic (50°C, pH 5) that gave 391 U/ml. Results and Conclusion: Production of amylase by acidic thermophilic E. auranticum is reported here for the first time. The crude enzyme also showed better chocolate and curry stain removal capacity when combined with commercial detergent. Also juice clarification assay showed promising results which indicates that the enzymes could be potentially used in detergent and food industry.

Dalam dekade terakhir, kami telah mengamati tren yang berkembang yang melibatkan teknologi baru dan peningkatan otomatisasi layanan, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kecepatan, konektivitas, dan ketersediaan penggunaan. Meskipun bidang aplikasinya bervariasi, ada kecenderungan untuk mengurangi kebutuhan kontrol manusia dalam melakukan berbagai operasi. Yang terakhir mewakili kategori baru toko yang sepenuhnya berbasis komputer dan digital, di mana penggunaan kamera, sensor, dan rak otomatis meminimalkan interaksi manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengetahuan customer tentang cashierless store, dan relevansi berbagai faktor yang terkait dengan jenis toko baru ini. Kuesioner dikirim ke 30 customer untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi situasi aktual dan pengetahuan tentang topik ini. Analisis statistik, mengenai pengetahuan mereka tentang cashierless store dan pengalaman customer, disediakan untuk membahas faktor-faktor paling relevan yang memengaruhi persepsi dan sikap customer, dengan perbandingan per jenis kelamin dan jenis pengguna. Hasil analisis yang diberikan mengungkapkan bahwa mereka mengetahui tentang cashierless store sebelumnya.

Since the very inception of Pakistan in 1947, the nature of relationship between Pakistan and the United States of America (USA/US) mostly remained interdependent for one reason or the other. However, the rational conceptual framework as well as common long term vision seems neglected in the history of their bilateral relations. Their leaders and policy makers preferred to address only temporarily the multifaceted challenges threatening their divergent strategic interests hence any deep-rooted long-term partnership could not emerge. The era of President Donald Trump (2017-2021) was also not an exception in that regard. Examining various developments that had been taken place in the domain of bilateral relations between both these countries during the said era, the instant study tries to dig out that how the then strained relations during the first two years i.e. 2017 & 2018 were converted into comparatively relaxed relations during the latter part of the term. It finds that all that happened not only because of the impulsiveness of President Trump but also due to the tremendous influence of Pakistan over Afghan Taliban which made the Afghan peace process successful. The research is based on qualitative method of reasoning.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic ailment caused due to complex interactions of genetic and environmental factors (dietary and lifestyle). It causes remarkable morbidity and mortality due to microvascular (retinopathy, nephropathy, and neuropathy) and macrovascular (heart attack, peripheral vascular disease, and stroke) complications. Treatment of microvascular complications focuses on blood sugar control. Although preventing macrovascular complications requires correcting classical cardiovascular risk factors that involve insulin resistance (metabolic) syndrome. The use of traditional drugs adopts several antidiabetic remedies. These drugs are effectivebecause most of these drugs are taken by patients for their entire life and causeseveral adverse effects like diarrhoea, abdominal distention, and flatulence emanate by intaking these drugs. Due to these restrictions,there is a need to explore management strategies in medicinal plants with cost-effective antidiabetic potentials and fewer or negligible side effects. Applying traditional medicine for diabetes and its associated complications has received increasing attention. This review explores the antidiabetic potential of some commonly and extensively used phytochemicals obtained from traditional medicinal plants.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the numbered head together (NHT) cooperative learning model on student leadership attitudes in the big ball game at SMA Negeri 1 Cilamaya. This research is an experimental study to find out whether the numbered head togheter (NHT) cooperative learning model has an effect on students' leadership attitudes in the big ball game. The number of samples was 34 students of XI MIPA 6 who were taken by purposive sampling technique where the sample criteria were based on the class that was willing to be given treatment. The data of this research was carried out with a one group pretest-posttest design using a student leadership attitude questionnaire using a Likert scale which was distributed at the beginning and end of the meeting. The results obtained through the normality test of the data with the results stating that the pretest data was 0.095 > 0.05 and the posttest 0.107 > 0.05. 0.830 > from 0.05 that the pretest-posttest data stated that the data was homogeneous and the t-test calculation obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000

One of the pepper crop production obstacles is the presence of pests. The research was designed in a randomized block with three treatments, namely (1) botanical pesticides, (2) biological pesticides and (3) control (water), and nine replications. The treatment application is carried out once a month, done immediately after observing the intensity of the pest attack. The results showed that the attack of pepper stem borer was low (below 10%), so the effect of the treatment could not be seen significantly. The Thrips attack was high enough, it was seen that there was the ability of botanical pesticides to reduce the intensity of the attack. Meanwhile, the biological pesticide had not yet shown its ability to reduce the intensity of Thrips sp.

Upaya pemberantasan korupsi tidak dapat mengandalkan semata-mata pada upaya penindakan yang menjadi kewenangan institusi penegak hukum. Upaya pencegahan korupsi dengan ikut serta membangun budaya anti korupsi di masyarakat menjadi faktor penting dalam upaya pemberantasan korupsi. Sebagai salah satu elemen masyarakat mahasiswa diharapkan dapat berperan sebagai agen perubahan dan motor penggerak gerakan anti korupsi di masyarakat. Untuk dapat berperan aktif mahasiswa perlu dibekali dengan pengetahuan yang cukup tentang seluk beluk korupsi dan pemberantasannya. Pendidikan anti korupsi ditujukan agar mahasiswa dapat mengetahui dengan jelas permasalahan korupsi yang sedang terjadi dan usaha untuk mencegahnya. Pendidikan anti korupsi bagi mahasiswa bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang cukup tentang seluk beluk korupsi dan pemberantasannya serta menanamkan nilai-nilai anti korupsi. Tujuan jangka panjangnya adalah menumbuhkan budaya anti korupsi di kalangan mahasiswa dan mendorong mahasiswa untuk dapat berperan aktif dalam upaya pemberantasan korupsi di Indonesia.

Stunting is a national program that involves specific and sensitive interventions in it. Activities carried out by cadres are still limited to registering, weighing, measuring length/height, filling out KMS and distributing PMT. Infrastructure facilities at the Posyandu Kenanga are still very limited. The measurement of the body length of toddlers who cannot stand only uses a cloth meter. This will affect the measurement results in the process of monitoring the growth and development of children under five. The purpose of this service activity is to provide education about stunting to improve maternal health literacy and provision of posyandu infrastructure facilities in the form of nameplates and digital baby scales. As a result, from around 54 mothers of children under five who participated in posyandu activities, 24 of them were successfully assessed for pretest and posttest scores. There was an increase in the knowledge score from 73 to 79 with an average of 3,042 increasing to 3,291. The value of the Gain Score calculation shows that the average value of N Gain Score for the experimental class (lecture method) is 12.76% which is included in the ineffective category. The handover of nameplates and digital baby scales is expected to improve the function and role of the posyandu.

Objective: To determine the diagnostic accuracy of contrast-enhanced MRI with conventional sequences and MR Spectroscopy in the diagnosis of Glioblastoma Multiforme, taking histopathology as the gold standard. We also determined the MR imaging appearance of GBM on conventional sequences. Methodology: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital from 19th August 2019 to 18th August 2020 on 165 adult patients suspected of having an intracranial space-occupying lesion. Informed consent was sought and a questionnaire was filled out for patient data, MRI imaging findings, and MRS results. Histopathology results were subsequently followed and recorded. The diagnostic accuracy of contrast enhanced MRI brain as well as MRS was determined in terms of sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and diagnostic accuracy, taking histopathology as gold standard. Results: In a total of 165 patients selected for the study, the mean age was 56.34±10.04 years with a male to female ratio of 1:1 and the frontal lobe being the most common location (34.5%). In histopathological positive GBM cases, margins of the mass were ill-defined in 55.1%, intralesional low ADC values were observed in 63.3%, signal drop out on susceptibility imaging in 42.8%, and MRS with raised choline and reduced NAA in 75.5%. MRI had a sensitivity of 81.6% and specificity of 94.8%, and MRS has a sensitivity of 75.5% and a specificity of 100%. Conclusion: Ill-defined margins, necrosis, and hemorrhage are important MRI features suggesting GBM. MRS combined with conventional MR sequences has high sensitivity and specificity in its diagnosis.

Apotek Bunda operates in a crowded environment or is in a supermarket area. This pharmacy has been established since 2016. This study aims to determine customer satisfaction when shopping at Apotek Bunda. The approach used in this research is qualitative-descriptive. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with seven informants who were regular customers or had shopped more than ten times at this pharmacy. The interview questions asked are about seven indicators of customer satisfaction. The results showed that of the seven indicators of customer satisfaction, only three indicators were met, namely product, price, and location. Meanwhile, promotion indicators, employee services, facilities, and atmosphere still need to be improved.

Objective: To see the association of endometriosis with other uterine conditions in our setup. Study Design: Descriptive Retrospective study. Setting: Private Lab in Faisalabad. Period: January 2010 to December 2019. Material & Methods: A total of 297 cases were evaluated in this study. We have included all endometriosis cases with associated other conditions of the uterus. In this study paraffin blocks and previous slides along with clinical data were analyzed according to the standard protocols. All the data including age, location of endometriosis, and association with other uterine conditions were noted and reported as percentages. Results: In this study, we analyzed 297 endometriosis cases, received during ten years. The age group ranges from 15 years to 75 years. The most common age group ranges from 26-30 years, 87(29%) cases, and the least commonly affected group was 71-75 years, only one case. The most common site of endometriosis was in the ovaries, 169(57%) cases. The most common associated other condition was benign tumor leiomyoma, 65(43%) cases while only one case of endometrial carcinoma was noted. Conclusion: This study concludes that ovarian endometriosis is the most common location and there is a strong association with another co-existing benign tumor such as leiomyoma. This signifies the possibility of common risk factors such as hyperestrogenism. Thus it is important to be aware of the possibility of co-existence of other conditions so that they can be treated at once in a single surgery.

Background: Intensive Care Units are the most demanding place in hospital setup as they provide clear and fair information to patients and family. Physical therapy involves several techniques that plays significant role in intensive care unit, focusing on goals like recruit lung volume, improving ventilation perfusion, improving oxygenation, promoting secretion clearance. Studies has been conducted regarding effectiveness of Incentive spirometry and autogenic drainage but there was very low data regarding Comparison of Incentive spirometry and autogenic drainage. Objective: The aim of this study was to find the effectiveness of Incentive spirometry vs Autogenic Drainage in Intensive Care Unit. Methodology: This was an experimental study conducted in LIAQUAT NATIONAL HOSPITAL from MAY-NOV. Systematic sampling technique was used, single blinding was done. Samples were allocated into 2 groups. One group receiving autogenic drainage while other receiving incentive spirometry. Total number of 10 sessions were given to each group. Pulmonary function testing and ABGs were used as assessment tools, consent form was signed by participants. Data was analyzed using SPSS 22 Version. Result: The result of autogenic drainage measuring expiratory reserve volume showed that before autogenic drainage the mean of the group was 748+-182.8 and after session of 7 days there was significant increase of expiratory reserve volume as well which is 864+-207.9, Thus the result of this study showed that Autogenic Drainage was statically significant in improving expiratory reserve volume. Conclusion: Result of this study showed Autogenic Drainage was more effective than Incentive Spirometry in improving expiratory reserve volume. Apart from this, Physiotherapists should use these techniques more in ICUs for better results and to reduce mortality rate.

A street is a passageway for people in a built environment and is one of the essential elements of urban planning. Streets convey a city's history, urban form, and socio-cultural values of societies that shape it. Street patterns must be carefully planned to create safe environments for everyone, particularly youngsters and elders. There are two common street patterns in history: meandering and gridiron. The development of these two opposed street patterns is examined in this study using historical discourse. In this study, the deductive approach is employed to distinguish between the physical traits of the street types mentioned above. According to this study, meandering street patterns reflect more concerns to human senses, socio-cultural values and aesthetics than gridiron. This research instigates further investigation in this regard to create inclusive, safe streets for everyone

To describe the various types of diagnostic utilization (physiological parameters) of contact lens-based sensors and administering drugs for ocular diseases. The early diagnosis of ocular diseases is greatly helped by contact lens sensors. Since the lacrimal fluids include biomarkers, contact lens sensors can be used to do non-invasive direct measurements of a variety of parameters, including corneal temperature, pH, intraocular pressure (IOP), proteins, nitrite, and chloride ions. Wearers can conduct self-examinations at home using smartphones owing to microfluidic contact lens sensors that are based on colorimetric detection and liquid control mechanisms. A Narrative review was done to review the articles available on PubMed, Google Scholar, Medline, Publon, Orcid, Healthstar, and others related to contact lens sensors and drug-administering for ocular diseases. Peer-reviewed articles/ studies were referred to ascertain the available screening tests, contact lens sensors, physiological parameters, and diagnosis of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and others. This review study provides an overview of the contact lenses for ocular diagnostics and delivering drugs for ocular diseases. Thus, soft contact lenses can be used to diagnose specific disorders as well as deliver medications, which have advantages over traditional eye drops in terms of prolonged residence duration and ocular bioavailability.

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang cenderung monoton tanpa memperhatikan partisipasi aktif siswa menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskirpsikan proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning serta mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning. Metode penelitian ini ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian model Kurt Lewin yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Partisipan kelas III SD Negeri Rambay yang berjumlah 8 orang laki-laki dan 4 orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar wawancara, lembar observasi serta soal tes tertulis.Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif deskrptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama dilakukan penelitian. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis yang mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran project based learning. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar.

The limited availability of learning media and the lack of varied media in schools greatly affect the student learning process. Meanwhile, judging from the learning styles of third grade elementary school students tend to follow the audio-visual learning style, meaning that students can learn optimally if there is an audio-visual-based learning media. One of the media that can be developed is media cool application powerpoint interactive. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the design of the development of cool application powerpoint interactive media on the 6 energy theme and its changes in class III SD, (2) to determine the feasibility of the cool media application powerpoint interactive media for students on the 6 energy theme and its changes in class III SD, ( 3) find out the response of teachers and students to the cool application powerpoint interactive media on theme 6 energy and its changes in grade III SD. This type of research is Research and Development, which uses a 4D model with 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The research instruments were media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The results showed (1) the results of media validation obtained a score of 100% with a very feasible category (2) the results of material validation obtained a score of 80% with a decent category, (3) the results of media and material validation by the teacher obtained a score of 100% with a very decent category. and (4) the results of the teacher's response with a score of 100% with a very decent category and the results of student responses with a percentage of 96% with a very decent category. Based on the results of these data, it can be concluded that the development of cool media application powerpoint interactive on theme 6 energy and its changes in class III SD is very feasible to use.

A crowd is a distinct collection of people or anything that is involved in community or society. The phenomenon of a crowd is fairly well known in a wide range of academic fields, including sociology, civil engineering, and physics, amongst others. At this point in time, it has developed into the most active-oriented research and fashionable issue in the field of computer vision. Pada umumnya penyandang disabilitas sering kali dipandang sebelah mata oleh masyarakat. Mereka dianggap sebagai sosok yang lemah atau kurang beruntung. Keterbatasan yang dimiliki oleh penyandang disabilitas berdampak pada kemampuan berpatisipasi ditengah masyarakat dan mengalami kesulitan saat mengakses pendidikan ataupun layanan publik lainnya. Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan kesenjangan atau permasalahan sosial di Kota Tangerang. Terkait dengan jumlah penyandang disabilitas di Kota Tangerang yang terbilang tidak sedikit. Hal ini dibuktikan dari data terpilah Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Tangerang yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlah penyandang disabilitas, yaitu tahun 2017 berjumlah 29. 750 orang dan pada tahun 2018 meningkat menjadi 3.580 orang. Meninjau permasalahan tersebut, pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas pada bidang wirausaha sosial melalui warung miebowl ini hadir guna memberikan kesempatan kepada para penyandang disabilitas untuk berkembang sesuai dengan minat bakat yang dimiliki. Warung ini serupa dengan Warmindo, namun pelayanannya bersifat self-service sehingga hal ini dapat memudahkan penyandang disabilitas dalam melayani pelanggan. Konsep dari warung ini, pelanggan dapat memilih dan mengambil sendiri mie, topping dan minuman yang mereka inginkan. Kemudian, pelanggan menuju kasir untuk memberikan pesanan dan membayarnya. Pesanan yang diberikan kepada pelayan lalu akan dimasak, dibuat dan kemudian diberikan kepada pelanggan.

The study purpose is to investigate the variables that significantly affect dividend payout ratio of dividend paying firms listed on KSE-100 index. This research uses a purposive sampling method where criteria is set to select a sample. Secondary data is collected from non-financial companies using annual financial reports from Pakistan Stock Exchange through the official KSE data portal for examining panel data models using pooled OLS regression. The results showed profitability, firm’s debt and sales growth positively significantly and asset growth, retained earnings to total equity and liquidity negatively significantly affected dividend payout ratio. This research report adds to the existing literature on dividend policy by utilizing the life cycle measure by segregating it with financial performance measure that has not yet done in the Pakistan as a developing market. Results prefer companies to focus on high liquidity, growth in net assets and RETE (life cycle) and management to use profit in the proper way and utilize assets optimally to increase dividend payout. Investors consider ROA to expect high return on dividend. It is suggested that firms pay dividends when there is a chance of decreasing profits and growth rates in future in order to attract more investors and to illustrate better company’s performance in the market for increasing growth opportunities and pay maximum dividends.

Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga dan online customer review secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian di e- commerce Sociolla pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis pada penelitian ini menggunakan data primer kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah non probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling. Alat bantu pengujian yang digunakan adalah SPSS. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan dengan menggunakan uji T bahwa variabel harga dan online customer review berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian di e- commerce Sociolla pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Uji F menunjukkan bahwa bahwa variabel harga dan online customer review berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian di e-commerce Sociolla pada masa pandemi Covid-19.

Objective: To determine the prevalence of the common causes of lower gastrointestinal bleeding by Colonoscopy as a diagnostic modality in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding. Study Design: Cross Sectional Descriptive study. Setting: Department of Gastroenterology, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro. Period: March 2021 to August 2021. Material & Methods: This study was performed in Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro in patients presenting with lower gastrointestinal bleeding. History, examination and investigations were carried out. After stabilizing the patient lower gastrointestinal endoscopy was performed. Results: Total 139 patients were included in this study. Intermittent bleeding per rectum was the main presenting complaint followed by continuous bleeding per rectum. The average age of the patients was 45.61 ±16.40 years. Out of 139 patients, 94(67.6%) males and 45(32.4%) females. Bleeding related to internal hemorrhoids was present in 40(28.8 %) patients 30(21.6%) male and 10(7.2%) females as the most common cause of lower GI bleed followed by rectal ulcers 14(10.1%) and polyps in 9(6.5%) patients. infective colitis, proctitis and colonic ulcers were noted in 8(5.8%), 6(4.3%) and 5(3.6%) patients respectively. Malignant lesions in colon and rectum were noted in 8(5.8%) and 3(2.2%) patients while ulcerative colitis, crhon’s and diverticular disease were noted in 5(3.6%), 1(1.4%), 2(0.7%) patients respectively. 29(%) had normal clonoscopic examination. Conclusion: In our population hemorrhoid bleed is the leading cause of lower gastrointestinal bleeding followed by bleeding due to rectal ulcer and polyps.

Kedisiplinan merupakan hal yang penting didalam segala hal, terutama didalam suatu organisasi ataupun dalam pekerjaan, disiplin yang tinggi akan mempercepat untuk menuju keberhasilan yang inigin dituju. Dari segalamacam tindakan yang tidak mencerminkan disiplin, salah satunya adalah mangkir. Mangkir merupakan sebuah hal yang tidak dapat di benarkan sehingga harus mendapatkan sanksi, dalam penanganan pekerja mangkir dapat di temukan di Undang-Undang sebagai acuan bagi sektor publik maupun swasta dalam menetapkan aturannya dalam menangani pekerja yang mangkir. Di dalam tulisan ini akan membahas mengenai mangkir dan sanksi yang akan didapatkan oleh pekerja yang mangkir khusunya PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional dalam memberi penanganan kepada pekerjanya.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gaya kepemimpinan pada Subbagian Kepegawaian mengarah pada kepemimpinan yang demokratis. Dalam memimpin organisasi, Kepala Subbagian Kepegawaian memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan dalam memimpin yang dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian pemimpinnya.

The method used in this research is quantitative method. The research approach used is correlational using Spearman rank. The population in this study are active consumers or followers on Happybag’s Instagram account. In this study the sampling technique used simple random sampling (simple random sample). With calculations using Slovin the number of samples that must be taken in this study wer 98 respondent. The data is processed using the Ordinal scale. Data analysis was carried out using computer assistance through SPSS version 25 program. Background: Chronic inflammation plays a potential role in development of diabetes related complications in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is one of the potential markers of systemic inflammation. The objective of this study was to examine an association between NLR and T2DM associated complications. Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted at Sheikh Zayed Medical College & affiliated hospital in Rahim Yar Khan from June - September 2022. About 360 patients were divided in to three groups. Group A were comprised of T2DM patients without diabetic complications while group B and C were T2DM patients with micro- and macro-vascular complications respectively. Micro- and macrovascular complications were assessed by history, physical examination and medical records. Association of diabetes related compilations with NLR value was done using regression analysis with SPSS version 25. Results: The baseline demographic characteristics of three study groups did not show statistically significant difference. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan diskusi untuk memberikan gambaran adanya kekosongan norma hukum mengenai narkotika jenis baru. Sehingga hasil yang di dapat dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu implementasi hukum terhadap tindak pidana narkotika jenis baru karena hal itu tidak terdapat di dalam Perundang-undangan di Indonesia. Legal Socialization Against New Types of Narcotics Crime in Tanah Tinggi Village, Tangerang City Community service in the form of socialization and legal counseling carried out in Tanah Tinggi Village, Tangerang City is to find out the implementation of laws related to new narcotics crimes that have not been regulated in Law Number 35 of 2009 about Narcotics and the development of new types of narcotics in Indonesia. In this community service, socialization and discussion methods are used to provide an overview of the absence of legal norms regarding new types of narcotics. So that the results obtained in this community service are the implementation of the law against a new type of narcotic crime because it is not contained in the legislation in Indonesia. The implementation of the law can be used with alternative interpretations from the judges. The interpretation here is used as a legal need and a sense of justice that is embraced in Indonesian society. From the interpretation and looking at the judge's decision, Methylone is a harmful substance and can be reached with the provisions obtained in the Narcotics Law, for its abuse it can be held legally responsible without putting aside legal certainty and the principle of legality.

The present study aimed to investigate the impact of employees’ empowerment on employees’ turnover intentions with mediating role of employees’ commitment in private higher education context. Data were collected from the faculty of the private higher educational institute via stratified random sampling. The collected data were verified through confirmatory factor analysis in AMOS. After confirming the validity the assumptions were tested via path analysis. Result revealed a negative significant effect of employees’ empowerment on employees’ intentions to quit. Moreover, the mediating effect of employees’ commitment was examined and found that fully mediates the association of employees’ empowerment and employees’ turnover intentions. The present study would be useful to the management and administration of the higher education to consider employees’ empowerment while retaining skill full employees and gain competitive advantage.

Changing the shape of Higher Education from Colleges to Universities provides an opportunity for General Higher Education to open Islamic Studies study programs. This opportunity was captured by a Lecturer in Islamic Education (PAI) General Courses (MKU) at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia to open a program of Islamic Education, namely Islamic Science Education (IPAI). The initiative was taken because educational anxiety today uses Western theories and concepts that tend to be secular and value-free. This paper aims to determine the curriculum development carried out by the IPAI Study Program - Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia as one of the Islamic Education Study Programs at General Higher Education in Indonesia. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and study documentation. Data analysis techniques using the model of Miles and Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and conclusion. Test the validity of the data conducted by triangulating data sources, methods and theories, and member checks. The establishment of the IPAI Study Program aims to produce scientific knowledge, theorization and educational concepts that originate directly from the Al-Qur`?n and the Sunnah. The Islamic Science Education Study Program is different from the Islamic Education Study Program in Islamic Religious Higher Education because of its orientation which not only produces Islamic Education teachers but is a scientist in the field of Islamic education, entrepreneurs, and practitioners in non-formal and informal Islamic Education institutions.

Background: A musculoskeletal disorder is the pain or injury in the joints, muscle, tendon, ligament, and its associated structures that support head, neck, upper and lower limb. These disorders can be trigger from repetitive exposure to awkward posture and due to psychological, social and occupational factors. Musculoskeletal disorders are the second leading cause of disability globally. The frequency of musculoskeletal disorders in physiotherapy OPDs of Karachi, Pakistan has not been reported yet, so this study investigated the frequency of musculoskeletal disorders in physiotherapy OPD of Karachi, Pakistan. Objective: The purpose of this study was to find out the frequency of musculoskeletal disorder in patients visiting physiotherapy outpatient department of various tertiary care hospitals situated in Karachi, Pakistan. Material and Method: A cross sectional survey study was carried out by using a self-constructed questionnaire to observe the frequency of MSD in physiotherapy. Data collection was done under the supervision of senior physical therapist. Results: 403 patients were included in this study from various physiotherapy OPDs. to evaluate the frequency of MSK disorders in which 166 were males and 237 were females. The minimum and maximum ages of the candidates who participated in the study were 8 and 69 years respectively. The results showed that 72.5% of patients in OPD had MSD in relevance to 28% of the patients suffering from neurological disorders [Table 3, 4]. Conclusion: Muscular-skeletal disorders are common among patients visiting in physiotherapy OPDs of Karachi, Pakistan. The most influenced region observed were the low back and shoulder due to overuse and also the knee which was persistent in elderly patients. Female patients were seen to have higher rate of MSK disorders which affects their daily activity than man. Suitable preventive and proper management methods are suggested to lessen MSK disorders.

Objective: To investigate the mutation in Vangl1 gene in patients of myelomeningocele. Method: The cross-sectional study was conducted from July 2017 to December 2017 in the Dow Diagnostic and Research Laboratory, Karachi, after approval from the ethics review committee of Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, and comprised clinically diagnosed infants and 10 healthy individuals from the outpatient department of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi. Several anatomical parameters were considered, such as size and site of the cyst. Blood samples were drawn and polymerase chain reaction was conducted for the identification of mutation in Vangl1 gene. Mutation analysis was carried out by aligning the sequence with the reference sequence. Objective:To ascertain the frequency of markers of transfusion-transmitted infections. among blood donors in a blood bank at a tertiary care hospital Material and Methods:The study was a retrospective cross-sectional descriptive study, covering from 1stJanuary 2013- October 2018 and was conducted in the blood bank section, in the Department of Pathology at Dow University of HealthSciences, Hospital. All blood donors were screened for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV (I & II), syphilis through electrochemiluminescence and malaria (immunochromatography).Data was entered and subsequently analyzed by statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 21. The frequency of infectious disease markers (HbsAg, Anti HCV, HIV, syphilis, and malaria) was calculated among blood donors. Results:The total number of donors in our study was 29732, out of which 2587 donors were positive for an infectious disease.Out of the total donors, 29712 were male and 20 were female. There were 12 volunteer donors and 29720 exchange donors. The mean prevalence of donors with positive infectious markers was as follows; Anti HCV was 3 %, HbsAg was 2.9%, Syphilis was 2.0%, HIV was 0.5% and Malaria was 0.02 %. Conclusion:HbsAg and Anti HCV were the most frequent infections (3%) found in our blood donors, followed by syphilis with a frequency of 2%. Objectives: To analyse frequencies and results of anti-nuclear antibodies, anti-double stranded deoxyribonucleic acid and anti-extractable nuclear antigens tests ordered in a tertiary-care hospital. Method: The retrospective study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital in Karachi, and comprised all tests ordered for anti-nuclear antibodies, anti-double stranded deoxyribonucleic acid and anti-extractable nuclear antigens from March 2017 to January 2018. Data was retrieved from the institutional electronic database. The frequencies and results of the tests were determined. Anti-nuclear antibodies test was determined by indirect immunofluorescence, while the other two tests were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Patterns emerging from anti-nuclear antibodies tests were also analysed. Results: Of the 1053 tests ordered, 1000(95%) were for anti-nuclear antibodies.. It was positive in 260(26%) patients, and was repeated in 8(3%) of the positive and 9(1.2%) of the negative patients. Anti-double stranded deoxyribonucleic acid test was ordered in 300(40.5%) and anti-extractable nuclear antigens test in 125(17%) patients who had tested negative for anti-nuclear antibodies. Among those who tested positive for anti-nuclear antibodies, the commonly observed patterns were homogenous 109(41.9%) and speckled 103(39.6%). Rod and ring pattern was seen in 10(3.8%) patients, and none of them was on anti-viral treatment. Conclusion: There was injudicious and unjustified ordering of auto-antibodies testing, indicating the need for greater physician education and cost-effective protocols. Manju Kapur is an Indian novelist. She was born on 25th October 1948. She is an archetypal representative of the postcolonial women novelists. She was a professor of English Literature at her alma mater at Miranda House College, Delhi. But she is retired from there. She joined the growing number of Indian women novelists, who have contributed to the progression of Indian fiction i.e. Shashi Deshpande, Arundhati Roy, Kamla Das, Geetha Hariharan, Anita Nair, Shobha De. Her novels reflect the position of women in the patriarchal society and the problems of women for their longing struggle in establishing their identity as an autonomous being. Her works not only gives voice to the society’s effort to improve its women population but it is for every woman’s self–consciousness in order to improve the society. She has written five novels, Difficult Daughters (1998), A Married Woman (2002), Home (2006), The Immigrant (2008), and Custody (2011). Kapur’s most memorable female characters are Virmati, Astha, Nisha, Nina, Shagun and so many others. All of them strive to assert themselves. These characters give us a rare glimpse of modernized Indian women who are in their aggression may enter into a scandalous relationship with her married neighbor, the professor or develop lesbian relationship as Virmati does in Difficult Daughters and Astha in A Married Woman. But Nisha in Home is different from her predecessors.

Jhamak Ghimire is a Nepali writer having got birth in 1980, in the eastern suburb of Nepal, Dhankuta. She was born with the severe disability i.e. cerebral palsy which has robbed her of her motor controls of her arms, slurred her speech and limited her movement. She writes with her foot. She has published eight volumes of poetry, stories and essays and is a regular columnist in Kantipur newspaper. She has won many awards for her writings in literature. She has won Madan Puraskar, Nepal’s most prestigious literary prize in 2011, for her autobiographical novel Jeevan Kanda Ki Phool which is translated by Nagendra Sharma and Safal Sharma, in English as, A Flower in the Midst of Thorns. The article attempts to explore the challenges which Ghimire has to confront for deconstructing the “ideology of ability” through her novel. So, this article selects some excerpts from the book to show her subordination at multiple levels.

Emotional intelligence plays an important role in teaching and learning process specially when it is about students’ involvement and task orientation in classroom. The main objective of this research work is to discover the effect of teachers’ emotional intelligence on secondary school level students’ involvement and task orientation in classroom learning environment. Quantitative research was design by using a causalcomparative method. The study objectives were to explore the effect of teachers’ emotional intelligence of secondary school on students’ involvement and task orientation in classroom learning environment. The population of study was based on female teachers and students at public secondary schools of Lahore. The data collection was done by using a simple random sampling technique. Two questionnaires were used to find out the cause and effect between teachers’ emotional intelligence and students’ involvement and task orientation in classroom learning environment. The questionnaire was adapted from “what is happening in this Class” and the second was “Social Emotional Teacher Rating Scale (SETRC)”. The data interpretation is done by utilization of various descriptive statistical techniques such as correlation, simple linear regression, standard deviation, and Inferential statistics one-way ANOVA etc. The analysis of research work presents a strong effect of teachers’ emotional intelligence on students’ involvement and task orientation in classroom learning environment. The results showed that teachers’ emotional intelligence must be kept in concern all the time in school. Consequently, it will be beneficial for the educational administrators to promote healthy & positive classroom learning environment/climate and enhance productivity of staff in learning and teaching at the secondary school level.
