2. Churning of human resources: A proposal for a theoretical-methodological model.

Purpose: This article presents the results of qualitative research performed through the semi-structured interviews to elaborate a theoreticalmethodological human resources churning model that will allow to statistically describe the relations of interdependence between the selected variables, to analyze their impact, and to test hypotheses in future studies. Originality/value: The relevance of this study lies in the opportunity to contribute to the development of such an intricate, unexplored topic, with scarcely available literature and empirical studies, providing the elaboration of an interview script as an instrument for data collection that facilitates future studies. Churning of human resources (excess of turnover) is solely related to the replacement of workers who voluntarily choose to leave organizations (Burgess et al., 2000). Design/methodology/approach: This study follows a qualitative approach. The process of data collection consisted of developing a semi-structured interview guide to gather information through the performance of 20 interviews. Findings: Through the analysis of the results, it was possible to ascertain that the more favorable churning dimensions are, the greater the retention of workers in organizations. Thus, the elaboration and application of strategic measures by organizations become relevant for the retention of the most experienced and qualified workers in order to avoid high costs with new hiring, which are a direct result of such replacements (churning). Thus, the elaboration and application of strategic measures by organizations become relevant for the retention of the most experienced and qualified workers in order to avoid high costs with new hiring, which are a direct result of such replacements (churning). / Resumo Objetivo: O presente artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa qualitativa através da realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas, com o objetivo de elaborar um modelo teórico-metodológico do churning de recursos humanos, que permita em estudo futuro descrever estatisticamente as relações de interdependência entre as variáveis selecionadas, analisar o seu impacto e testar hipóteses. Originalidade/valor: A pertinência sobre o estudo desta temática recai sobre a oportunidade de contribuir para o desenvolvimento de um tema muito complexo, pouco explorado, com pouca literatura e poucos estudos empíricos, proporcionando como instrumento de recolha de dados a elaboração de um guião de entrevista que facilite estudos futuros. O churning de recursos humanos (excesso de turnover) está relacionado apenas com as substituições de trabalhadores que saíram voluntariamente da organização (Burgess et al., 2000). Design/metodologia/abordagem: Trata-se de estudo com uma abordagem qualitativa. O processo de recolha de dados consistiu na elaboração de um guião de 20 entrevistas semiestruturadas. Resultados: Através da análise dos resultados, foi possível constatar que quanto mais favoráveis forem as dimensões do churning, mais favorável será a retenção de trabalhadores nas organizações, pelo que se tornam pertinentes a criação e aplicação de medidas estratégicas por parte das organizações com o intuito de reter os trabalhadores mais experientes e qualificados, de forma a evitar custos elevados com novas contratações, resultantes de substituições (churning)

Resumo: Este artigo visa a apresentar um panorama das pesquisas realizadas no Brasil a partir dos anos 2000 que utilizam como base teórico-metodológica o modelo do Léxico-Gramática (LG). Surgindo com os trabalhos de Gross (1968) sobre o francês, o LG é um modelo que descreve os fenômenos linguísticos conjugando léxico e gramática, com a análise de propriedades sintáticas, semânticas, estruturais e transformacionais distribuídas formalmente em tábuas binárias. Compilamos e descrevemos 38 trabalhos, entre teses, dissertações e artigos, sob o arcabouço do LG no Brasil. Além disso, os classificamos em três principais eixos temáticos: verbos-suporte, expressões cristalizadas, e análise, descrição e classificação de construções verbais. Espera-se com este artigo contribuir para a exposição dos trabalhos realizados, sobretudo, na Universidade Federal de São Carlos e na Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, servindo como material de referência para os pesquisadores da área de LG do país e fortalecendo, assim, os estudos descritivos do português do Brasil. O presente artigo descreve como os quatro conceitos-chave da Teoria Bioecológica do Desenvolvimeno Humano (processo, pessoa, contexto e tempo) se fazem presentes na metodologia denominada Inserção Ecológica. Tem o objetivo de proporcionar algumas linhas de ação que podem auxiliar equipes de pesquisa na utilização desta proposta em seus projetos de pesquisa. Para isso, foi realizada uma breve comparação entre a Inserção Ecológica e outras metodologias que valorizam o contexto da investigação, e que partem de referenciais teóricos diferentes. Além disso, são apresentados e discutidos estudos que utilizaram a Inserção Ecológia a fim de estabelecer alguns pontos em comum e definir aspectos que possam ser considerados características fundamentais a essa proposta metodológica.This article describes how the four key concepts of the Bioecological Theory of Human Development (process, person, context and time) are present in the Ecological Engagement methodology. The goal is to provide some lines of action that may guide research teams to use this proposal in their projects. A brief comparison is performed between the Ecological Engagement and other methodologies, which value the concept of investigation and have distinct theoretical references. Moreover, other studies that used the Ecological Engagement are presented and discussed in order to establish some common points and to define aspects that may be considered as fundamental characteristics of this methodological proposal.

El proceso de transición de un saber matemático desde que es concebido y desarrollado en el ámbito científico hasta su difusión en las aulas ha sido estudiado por diversos autores y desde diferentes perspectivas de la Matemática Educativa. En este artículo se describe un marco teórico-metodológico que permite analizar ese proceso, que hemos denominado proceso social de institucionalización, poniendo el foco de atención en las prácticas de los actores involucrados en cada uno de sus momentos. El modelo se desarrolla bajo la perspectiva socioepistemológica y se apoya en la teoría del análisis del discurso como acción social para estudiar el discurso matemático escolar.En particular, se desarrolla la manera en que se ha empleado el marco teórico-metodológico para analizar el proceso social de institucionalización del concepto de límite en el contexto educativo uruguayo. Se explora, a su vez, su posible extensión al proceso de institucionalización que atraviesan otros saberes matemáticos, en otros contextos socioculturales. The transition process of mathematical knowledge, since its conception and development by mathematicians to its diffusion in the classroom, has been studied by several authors and from different perspectives of Mathematics Education. This article describes a theoretical and methodological framework to analyze this process, which we call the social process of institutionalization, focusing on the practices of the actors involved in each of its moments. The model is developed from the socio-epistemological perspective and relies on the theory of discourse analysis as a social action to study school mathematical discourse. In particular, it is developed the way the theoretical and methodological framework was used to analyze the social process of institutionalization of the concept of limit on the Uruguayan educational context. It explores, in turn, its possible extension to the process of institutionalization of other mathematical knowledge in other socio-cultural contexts.
