Con el propósito de determinar la calidad en semillas beneficiadas de Zea mays, se evaluó el comportamiento de los indicadores de calidad de cuatro variedades recibidas del Laboratorio Provincial de Semillas de Cienfuegos, correspondientes al primer semestre de 2021. Para determinar la calidad física de las mismas y el diagnóstico fitosanitario se estimaron las variables cantidad de semillas puras, materia inerte, porcentaje de germinación, plántulas normales y anormales, cantidad de semillas frescas, puras y muertas según la Norma Cubana NC: 70:01, perteneciente a los estándares ISTA. La germinación mostró diferencias significativas entre las variedades evaluadas. Las muestras de semillas híbridas exhibieron porcentajes de germinación inferiores al resto. La cantidad de materia inerte en el diagnóstico fitosanitario fue mayor para MAIG-5461 seguido del híbrido AME-15. Sin embargo, el porcentaje de semillas puras fue superior al 98% en todas las variedades, lo que indica que las muestras están libres de cualquier mezcla de otras semillas y en menor cantidad de materia inerte.

In this article we analyze the problematic relation that the French philosopher Gilbert Simondon establishes between inert matter and living matter concerning his theory of individuation. We attempt to demonstrate that despite the theoretical efforts of Simondon to found the nature of life in the order of the inorganic or physico-chemical phenomena, the processes of vital individuation results in functioning modes, structures, and dynamisms which have no precedents in the inert matter, fact that authorizes a definition of life as pure difference from itself

"Organization" is a concept widely employed in Sade's philosophical novels. The meaning of the term, however, seems to change according to the character's theory. Such a polysemy is not an invention of Sade, since in philosophical works of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries we can discern at least five different meanings for the concept, in the field of natural philosophy: a synonym for a Cartesian machine, a specific disposition of matter that enables life (Cyrano), the form in which living matter is arranged in a continuous whole (Ménuret), a mere geometrical arrangement of particles (Diderot), a property of matter (Robinet). The purpose of the present article is to clarify problems of interpretation of Sadian novels referring to the use of the organization concept by the characters. In order to do this, we must first examine the main meanings of the concept in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, then assign the different meanings to the speeches of the libertines. We must analyze how the concept's plurality in the Modern age extends to the Sadian novel and how a specific notion of organization modifies theories about the same subject or connects discourses on different subjects.
