Studies of the dynamics of linear and nonlinear differential equations with delays described by mathematical models play a crucial role in various scientific domains, including economics and biology. In this article, the Lambert function method, which is applied in the research of control systems with delays, is proposed to be newly applied to the study of price stability by describing it as a differential equation with a delay. Unlike the previous work of Jankauskienė and Miliūnas "Analysis of market price stability using the Lambert function method" in 2020 which focuses on the study of the characteristic equation in a complex space for stability, this study extends the application of this method by presenting a new solution for the study of price dynamics of linear and nonlinear differential equation with delay used in economic and biological research. When examining the dynamics of market prices, it is necessary to take into account the fact that goods or services are usually supplied with a delay. The authors propose to perform the analysis using the Lambert W function method because it is close to exact mathematical methods. In addition, the article presents examples illustrating the applied theory, including the results of the study of the dynamics of the nonlinear Kalecki's business cycle model, which was not addressed in the previous work, when the linearized Kalecki's business cycle model is studied as a nonhomogeneous differential equation with a delay. Gunung Merapi National Park (GMNP) is an inseparable conservation area from the surrounding community, as the buffer village community has used its existing forest resources. Therefore, this research aimed to identify the forest resources used by the buffer village community and assess the economic benefit value generated by GMNP. The economic benefits evaluation adopted the direct use value approach and market prices. The results showed that the community used water, firewood, grass, land, and sand. Utilization was conducted in utilization, traditional, and rehabilitation zones. These resource utilizations generated a value of IDR426,230,560,828/year, significantly contributing to the welfare of the buffer village community.

We present a framework for linking hedge funds to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investments based on systematic ESG risk. We proposed a double-factor model to explain the co-movement of asset returns due to two systematic risk factors: Adjusted market risk and systematic ESG risk. Complementing prior work that introduces ESG characteristic indicators as determinants of agents' utility functions, this framework leverages modern portfolio theory by establishing a channel through which systematic ESG shocks affect asset risk and, in turn, equilibrium expected returns. This approach enabled us to estimate empirical market prices for systematic ESG risk from real-world observations and derive the relationship between equilibrium expected returns and the loadings on systematic risk factors. Applying this framework to U.S. equity mutual funds, we found that the loadings of systematic ESG risk were significantly correlated with the expected return of the sorted portfolios. These results suggested that it is possible to design hedge fund strategies that capitalize on systematic ESG risk that varies over time.

However the published financial statement of The Development District Company of Medan Sub Unit Zoo year 2015 and 2016 does not reflect the characteristic of appropriate qualitative financial statement yet with SAK. The animal in the zoo can be identified as company asset, but cannot be categorized yet as an asset, whether current asset, fixed asset or non-fixed asset. Another phenomenon is some animals cannot be detected their own fair value, because those animals are not for trade and have no market price. The animal has similar characteristic with fixed asset, but the estimation assessment of depreciation percentage and amortization, useful life and residue value cannot be measured yet trustfully. By the phenomenon, the problem comes up that is measurement (identification, categorization, and the assessment of economy transaction) so that it is enable for animal cannot be presented in the financial statement. Hopefully the applied method can help in resolving the problem of this research, so the long-term goal of this research can give the policy recommendation in three subject matters; first the implementation of PSAK 69 adopted from IFRS 41 concerning biological asset; second, the implementation of PMK No. 247/PMK.06/2014 concerning the fixed asset; and third the implementation of UU (regulation) No.36 year 2008 concerning Income tax. Based on the observation result, it is acquired that animal collections as many as 38 animals, each consists of 20 species for aves class, 11 species for mammals and 7 species for reptile. According to UU No. 5 year 1990, PP No. 07 year 1999 and PP No 08 year 1999 there are 21 protected animals, so that the fair value cannot be determined, but the unprotected animals and the category of cite appendix II as many as 10 animals can be determined due to enable to be traded. In the article, the efficiency of two-phase rearing of piglets was compared with a change in the feeding system from dry to liquid feeding for different periods of the phases of this production cycle. It was discovered that animals reared in a one-phase system with dry feed had the lowest daily feed intake on average. In contrast, those in a two-phase system, with the second phase involving liquid feed for 9 days, showed a 14.8% increase in average daily consumption. This figure rose to 20.3% with an 18-day duration of the liquid feeding phase and further to 32.4% with a 27-day duration, compared to animals in the single-phase system. It was found that when the piglets were fed liquid feed for 18%, 35% and 53% of the total rearing period in the second rearing phase, their live weight increased by 3.4%, 7.9% and 12.2%, respectively, at the transition to fattening with analogues with single-phase top-up and 100% dry power supply system. The highest income was achieved in animals reared in two phases with a phase duration of 27 days on liquid feed, which was 6.2 % higher than in animals reared in one phase on dry feed, and 16.0 % higher in two-phase rearing with a second phase duration of 9 days and 7.3% higher than in two-phase rearing with a second phase duration of 18 days. This research examines how the price-to-earnings ratio and other financial indicators affect Nepalese commercial bank market prices. It emphasizes the prominence of the market P_E ratio in Nepalese investors' investment decisions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the P_E ratio, in addition to other financial indicators, with the market prices of Nepalese commercial banks. Multiple regression models were employed to analyze 209 yearly observations from the fiscal years 2012/2013 to 2022/2023 of all the commercial banks listed at the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The data have been gathered from financial reports and stock market data provided by NEPSE. The study reveals that the price-toearnings ratio exhibits strong predictive power in explaining the market price of commercial banks in Nepal. This finding highlights the significance of profitability measurement in influencing investor decision-making in the Nepalese banking sector. The findings of this study are expected to benefit investors, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders by enhancing financial literacy and informed policymaking. By understanding the impact of financial indicators on market prices, stakeholders can make more informed investment decisions, thereby contributing to a stronger financial system and economic stability. In this study, we derive a simple transportation scheme by post-optimizing the costs of a modified problem. The strategy attempts to make the original (mainly feasible) option more practicable by adjusting the building components' costs. Next, we employ the previously mentioned cell or area cost operators to gradually restore the modified costs to their initial levels, while simultaneously implementing the necessary adjustments to the "optimal" solution. This work presents a multi-goal, multi-item substantial transportation problem with interval-valued fuzzy variables, such as transportation costs, supplies, and demands, as parameters to maintain the transportation cost. This research addresses two circumstances where task ambiguity may occur: the interval solids transportation problem and the fuzzy substantial transportation issue. In the first scenario, we express data problems as intervals instead of exact values using an interval-valued fermatean neutrosophic number; in the second case, the information is not entirely obvious. We address both models when uncertainty solely affects the constraint set. For the interval scenario, we define an additional problem to solve. Our existing efficient systems have dependable transportation, so they are also capable of handling this new problem. In the fuzzy case, a parametric technique generates a fuzzy solution to the preceding problem. Since transportation costs have a direct impact on market prices, lowering them is the primary goal. Using parametric analysis, we provide optimal parameterization solutions for complementary situations. We provide a recommended algorithm for determining the stability set. Evaluating the ecological and economic potential is an effective step and a suitable tool to guide the current activities and uses in the land towards comprehensive management and sustainable rural development. Identifying and evaluating the potentials of each region is a guide for achieving development in sync with nature in rural areas dependent on nature. In this study, the economic value of forage production in Rangelands of ChaharBagh village of Golestan province was investigated.Typing the vegetation cover of the region by going to the desired area and field survey and also with the help of the topographical map of the region and also by using the plan to recognize the ecological regions of the country and based on the specified floristic-physionomic classification method and sampling of each plant type. It was done randomly and systematically.6 plant types were identified in the study area. The results of the study showed that the total forage production in the pastures of Chaharbagh village is equal to 6203605 kilograms of dry forage and available fodder (sustainable forage) is equal to 1763925 kilograms. The economic value of the total forage produced in the pastures of Chaharbagh village is equal to 52,284,110,52 riyals, and the total economic value of the available forage of these pastures is estimated to be 11,904,012,960 riyals. The capacity of the total number of livestock units with efficiency and economic value was 4749 heads, and the total annual profit was estimated at 12,760,821,000 rials; therefore, the added value of animal husbandry in the studied pasture is equal to 040,747,917 rials. The virtual power plant (VPP) concept, which offers energy efficiency, benefits significantly from the tremendous potential of integrating distributed energy resources (DERs). This work proposes optimal economic dispatch of virtual power plant (VPP), and the problem is formulated in a novel way considering the potential of energy storage systems (ESS) of electric vehicles (EVs) and data center (DC) in a data center facility test model using optimized energy management system (EMS). The problem is evaluated for maximizing the revenue for VPP considering market prices and the uncertainties in the distributed energy resources. To this purpose, a techno-economic analysis of the proposed test system of VPP is evaluated using mixed-integer linear programming (MILP). Renewable generation, electricity price, load demand, and real-time EV behavior uncertainty analysis are forecasted using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) along with DC battery degradation analysis which constitutes the optimization model. The results showed that the VPP EMS can perform optimal power scheduling with the day ahead and real-time electricity price scenarios. Moreover, further analysis including battery degradation cost of DC UPS ESS proved the capability of the proposed framework by up to 2064.4 $/h revenue for day-ahead price and 562 $/h revenue for the real-time price compared to revenue without battery degradation cost. A simulation scenario is also carried out where the constant load demand and the battery storage powers are varied between 50% and 150%. It can be concluded that the 500 kW and 750 kW ESS (100% and 150%) are better choices as compared to 250 kW (50%) during increased load demand for investors due to their higher revenue. Hence it is concluded that this research highlights the importance of revenue benefits from deploying VPP with the collaborative operation of DERs.

In an unstable external environment, an urgent task for enterprise managers is to determine a pricing strategy based on internal accounting and financial data to preserve the market position in the long term. The article aims to form a model for making strategic management decisions in the field of pricing at enterprises of the commercial sector of the economy based on accounting and analytical data on the costs of the enterprise. Analysis of accounting and financial models of strategic pricing at enterprises based on market, cost and mixed approaches was carried out. Accounting and financial models of price calculation based on accounting data on the costs of production and sale of products, as well as analysis of the life cycle of products, taking into account the expected rate of return, are given. It was determined that the basis of the market approach to price determination in the long term is the life cycle of products, which allows setting a competitive price for products taking into account the stages of market development and the position of products on it. The characteristic stages of the product life cycle are product development, market use, growth, maturity, and decline. The article analyzes the process of incurring costs at all stages of the product life cycle, which is the accounting and financial basis of strategic pricing at the enterprise and management in the long term. The cost approach involves the application of mark-up to various types of pricing for the base (variable costs, production cost of products, full costs of production and sale of products). It reduces managers' motivation for strategic cost management. Transfer pricing methods in the framework of the activities of a group of interrelated enterprises, which can be determined by cost and market approach, were also considered. The research results show that when making strategic pricing decisions, it is necessary to combine market-oriented pricing models and accounting-financial cost pricing models skillfully.

Locke’s short essay, “Venditio,” offers a series of thought-provoking examples of prices that might or might not be viewed as just. Locke writes as though these examples and his comments about them point to a coherent doctrine about which agreed-to prices are morally acceptable and which are morally unacceptable. However, despite the acuity of some of Locke’s observations, no such coherent doctrine emerges from Locke’s discussions of these examples. Indeed, many of the conclusions Locke reaches as he moves from example to example are implausible in themselves or inconsistent with one another. Nevertheless, not all is lost. Locke’s observations can be viewed as thought experiments on his part which, in conjunction with insights from Locke’s other economic writings, indicate what features a doctrine of acceptable and unacceptable prices needs to possess. I show how a line of argument which appears almost as a sidebar within “Venditio” offers a doctrine that provides those needed features. That doctrine affirms both “the common law of traffic” and “the common law of charity” and a view about when the latter takes priority over the former.

Efficient budget management is crucial for the successful execution of construction projects. To achieve this, the design of a Construction Project Audit Budget Management System based on combinatorial optimization offers significant advantages. Combinatorial optimization techniques focus on finding optimal solutions from a vast number of possible combinations, making them well -suited for complex budget management scenarios. This system employs advanced algorithms to analyze and optimize various factors such as resource allocation, cost estimation, risk assessment, and scheduling. This paper focused on the construction of the Project Fuzzy Audit System in China. The developed model computes total investment decision, preliminary design, design, contracting, construction, completion acceptance and other stages of the investment/cost, namely investment estimation, budget estimate, control price, contract price and settlement price. According to the project total investment/cost control needs in China Project. The constructed model uses the combinatorial Optimization model for the estimation of the investment estimation of the Construction Project for the cost index. Through the Fuzzy Audit System new method abolishes the "maximum price" in the bidding document with the limit as the unit, and gradually terminates the preparation of the budget quota, highlighting the market price, so there is an urgent need for a set of cost index in line with the actual needs. This study examines the relationship between Hungarian wine prices and the results of the 2023 Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA). The study analyses the relationship between the DWWA and the prices of medal-winning Hungarian wines and the impact on the Hungarian wine sector. An analysis of the correlation between the Decanter World Wine Awards and Hungarian wines shows the price-shaping effect of wine competitions on the Hungarian and international wine market. By taking advantage of the recognition and credibility provided by the DWWA, Hungarian winemakers have the opportunity to position their wines in higher market segments, serving discerning consumers seeking premium and award-winning wines. Three regions seem to be best suited for this: Tokaj, Eger and South Pannonia (Villany and Szekszard). The winning wines will contribute to the economic viability and sustainability of the Hungarian wine industry, providing access to new sales channels, international recognition and promoting the unique and diverse Hungarian terroir. The medals achieved in this prestigious competition will facilitate market entry in competitive markets and foster cooperation with distributors and importers seeking quality-driven wine portfolios. Continued investment in quality development, sustainability practices and market diversification will be essential for Hungarian winemakers to capitalise on the success of the competition for long-term growth. Globally, people started gravitating toward organic food as health consciousness rose. From the farm to the consumer's fork, organic food is produced using a comprehensive method. Organic farming has provided farmers and producers with many opportunities, but there are still difficulties concerning the cost of production and distribution. Due to environmental sustainability challenges, climate change, soil fertility, biological assortment, and consumer well-being, organic farming is attracting more attention than conventional farming. Organic farming can be done using standardised methods and has many common issues with conventional farming. Organic farming has some unique problems as well. With the right strategies, careful planning, and government assistance, many difficulties faced by farmers can be addressed. The downstream material flow of the supply chain, and in particular demand estimation, market price, and identifying customer segments, has been identified as a significant problem in organic farming. Massive losses have been incurred along with the entire supply chain a due to the inadequate demand estimation that has caused surpluses and shortages in the produce. A few farmers have resolved the cash flows and material information controlling problem. This article proposes various related hypotheses associated with identifying customer segments, forecasting demand for the product, and profitability as market price changes in the crop.

Cluster farming is increasingly recognized as a viable means of improving smallholder economic integration and commercialization in many developing countries. However, little is known about its impact on smallholder welfare and livelihoods. We examine the relationship between cluster farming and smallholder commercialization using a large‐scale survey of 3969 farm households in Ethiopia cultivating high‐acreage crops such as teff, wheat, maize, barley, and sesame. Using switching regressions and instrumental variable estimators, we show that cluster farming is associated with commercialization measured as commercialization index, market surplus value, and market price. To further deal with endogeneity concerns, we also employ some pseudo‐panel models where we observe similar insights. Beyond this, we account for heterogeneities by disaggregating households based on farm scales and crops cultivated. Our findings show that cluster farming is positively associated with commercialization for all farms and crop types despite this disaggregation. However, the related gains are higher among medium and large farms and vary per crop type. These findings imply that cluster farming is crucial in improving smallholder commercialization and may be a critical entry and leveraging point for policy. We thus lend support to initiatives and plans that seek to upscale cluster farming as they can potentially improve smallholder commercialization with ensuing impacts on rural livelihoods and welfare. Recent developments have increased the availability and prevalence of renewable energy sources (RESs) in grid-connected microgrids (MGs). As a result, the operation of an MG with numerous RESs has received considerable attention during the past few years. However, the variability and unpredictability of RESs have a substantial adverse effect on the accuracy of MG energy management. In order to obtain accurate outcomes, the analysis of the MG operation must consider the uncertainty parameters of RESs, market pricing, and electrical loads. As a result, our study has focused on load demand variations, intermittent RESs, and market price volatility. In this regard, energy storage is the most crucial facility to strengthen the MG's reliability, especially in light of the rising generation of RESs. This work provides a two-stage optimization method for creating grid-connected MG operations. The optimal size and location of the energy storage are first provided to support the hosting capacity (HC) and the self-consumption rate (SCR) of the RESs. Second, an optimal constrained operating strategy for the grid-connected MG is proposed to minimize the MG operating cost while taking into account the optimal size and location of the energy storage that was formerly determined. The charge–discharge balance is the primary criterion in determining the most effective operating plan, which also considers the RES and MG limitations on operation. The well-known Harris hawks optimizer (HHO) is used to solve the optimization problem. The results showed that the proper positioning of the battery energy storage enhances the MG's performance, supports the RESs' SCR (reached 100% throughout the day), and increases the HC of RESs (rising from 8.863 MW to 10.213 MW). Additionally, when a battery energy storage system is connected to the MG, the operating costs are significantly reduced, with a savings percentage rate of 23.8%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper focuses on capturing price movement and price stability in rural and urban markets. Pakistan collects prices from both markets, but only for the computation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which is calculated on a monthly basis. It is proposed to include rural markets by widening the scope of the Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI), computed by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). The inconsistency in the prices of rural markets is observed on the basis of different measures, including descriptive and inferential statistics. Therefore, it is suggested to include rural markets as well in the SPI computation. Large numbers of head counts make transactions in rural areas, which may be taken into account for capturing the accurate weekly consumption pattern of the consumers. Prices of all SPI items were taken from urban and rural markets and checked for normality through the Kolmogorov-Smirnovand Shapiro-Wilk tests. Further, the normality was checked graphically by the Q-Q plot (Quantile-Quantile plot) and histogram. Due to the skewness of the data, non-parametric methods like the geometric coefficient of variation and the coefficient of mean deviation from the median have been applied to check the consistency of the prices in rural markets. Introduction: Power load forecasting and market price analysis have become crucial in the context of complex power energy systems and volatile market prices. Deep learning technology has gained significant attention in time series forecasting, and this article aims to enhance the accuracy and reliability of power load and market price predictions by integrating and optimizing deep learning models.Methods: We propose a deep learning framework that combines artificial neural networks (ANNs), long short-term memory (LSTM), and transformer models to address key challenges in electricity load forecasting and market price prediction. We leverage ANNs for their versatility and use LSTM networks for sequence modeling to generate initial predictions. Additionally, we introduce transformer technology and utilize its self-attention mechanism to capture long-distance dependencies within the data, further enhancing the model’s performance.Results: In our experiments, we validate the proposed framework using multiple public datasets. We compare our method with traditional forecasting approaches and a single-model approach. The results demonstrate that our approach outperforms other methods in predicting power load and market prices. This increased accuracy and reliability in forecasting can be of significant value to decision-makers in the energy sector.Discussion: The integration of deep learning models, including ANN, LSTM, and transformer, offers a powerful solution for addressing the challenges in power load and market price prediction. The ability to capture long-distance dependencies using the transformer's self-attention mechanism improves forecasting accuracy. This research contributes to the field of energy and finance by providing a more reliable framework for decision-makers to make informed choices in a complex and dynamic environment.

The goal of this article is to predict the further development of the market price of farmland in Czechia. As part of this goal, the environmental and socio-economic factors affecting the quantity and quality of farmland and, subsequently, the amount of its market price will be discussed. In addition to the quality of the farmland, the market price of individual plots of land is influenced by a number of other factors, such as the size and shape of the plot, location, erosion risk, the concluded usufructuary lease agreements, competition from buyers in the vicinity, and other factors. The average market price of farmland in Czechia was 29.4 CZK/m2 in 2021, which represents an increase of 16.1% against the amount of 25.3 CZK/m2 in 2020. According to the results of the statistical analysis, it is possible to assume a constant increase in the prices of farmland precisely because of the ever-decreasing area of land intended for agricultural production. Another factor for the increase in prices can be increased inflation. In 2027, market prices for farmland could reach up to 40 CZK per m2. Nevertheless, Czechia is among the countries with the lowest market price of farmland; the price is even lower than in neighboring Poland or Spain. This also contributes to the fact that the market prices of farmland in Czechia are increasing at a relatively fast pace every year. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Valuing the ecosystem services can relate the concepts of structure and function to management issues. The absence of a valuation system endangers the ecosystem services, such as regulating services, that cannot be traded in the economic market. Valuing the ecosystem services can facilitate managers’ and policy makers’ understanding of ecosystem services and their place in decision-making processes. To protect the Protected Areas (PAs), the ecosystem components, opportunities, and threats should first be identified for these ecosystems. In this study, the ecosystem services were evaluated for three services (i.e., forage production, oxygen production, and carbon sequestration), and market pricing methods as well as alternative values were used for valuing these services. The study area was Tang-e Sayad protected area in Iran. The field studies include the implementation of 24 transects and using the plots with 2 m × 2 m dimensions at a distance of 100 m from each other. Based on the results, the value of the protected area for the above three ecosystem services was 4173 USD per hectare per annum, which is a significant amount. Of this amount, 1% is related to the value of forage production, 19% to oxygen release, and 80% to carbon sequestration. These values can be a good guide for planning to focus on carbon sequestration and to reduce grazing pressure in the protected area. Aquaculture is an established technique for producing marine species. However, it creates large amounts of nutrient‐rich waste. Therefore, it is worth examining the methods available to use these nutrients and close the nutrient cycle. This review covers research activities of different saline water methods for food production. These are Integrated Multi‐Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA), Biofloc Technology (BFT) and marine aquaponics. IMTA combines on‐ and offshore aquaculture with macroalgae and filter feeder production. Commercial implementations have been achieved but are not widely used. Especially shrimp are suitable for cultivation in saline BFT systems. Few commercial deployments exist. There is a well‐established market for the products of IMTA and BFT systems. Marine aquaponics is increasingly being tested as part of an expansion of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) and BFT systems, but commercial implementations are not known. Moreover, there is no established market for the resulting salt‐tolerant plants (halophytes). Market prices and popularity were evaluated to assess the economic potential of the different plant and aquaculture species farmed with IMTA, BFT and marine aquaponics. There are established markets for well‐known products, but therefore the competition is greater. Niche products are offered occasionally, but often achieve top prices. Closing nutrient cycles and increasing saline water usage for food production as well as high product diversity are necessary to mitigate the increasing pressure on freshwater resources and to be able to feed the growing world population. Therefore, IMTA, BFT and marine aquaponics are promising techniques for reducing pressure on freshwater resources and improving food supply. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Globally, people started gravitating toward organic food as health consciousness rose. From the farm to the consumer's fork, organic food is produced using a comprehensive method. Organic farming has provided farmers and producers with many opportunities, but there are still difficulties concerning the cost of production and distribution. Due to environmental sustainability challenges, climate change, soil fertility, biological assortment, and consumer well-being, organic farming is attracting more attention than conventional farming. Organic farming can be done using standardised methods and has many common issues with conventional farming. Organic farming has some unique problems as well. With the right strategies, careful planning, and government assistance, many difficulties faced by farmers can be addressed. The downstream material flow of the supply chain, and in particular demand estimation, market price, and identifying customer segments, has been identified as a significant problem in organic farming. Massive losses have been incurred along with the entire supply chain a due to the inadequate demand estimation that has caused surpluses and shortages in the produce. A few farmers have resolved the cash flows and material information controlling problem. This article proposes various related hypotheses associated with identifying customer segments, forecasting demand for the product, and profitability as market price changes in the crop. This study analyzed the role of non-timber forest products in income enhancement of mountainous people of purposively selected two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa namely Swat and Mansehra. From these districts six villages were selected purposively and from those villages sample size of 321 households was selected randomly. In the study areas majority (45%) of sample households had 5 to 10 family members which indicated joint family system. Literacy status in study areas was very low (30%). Sayed, Swati, Awan, Gujjar and Kohistani tribes were residing in the study villages. Crop production was their primary occupation, secondary livestock rearing; tertiary sale of non-timber forest products; fourth source of income was remittances and fifth was labor work respectively. Study results discovered that 69% of sample households had earned income from the sale of NTFPs above mean income (60458 Pakistani rupees) per season while 31% of sample households had earned income from the sale of NTFPs below mean income (60458 Pakistani rupees) per season. Sample households reported that during emergencies, only income earned from nontimber forest products stabilized their economy. Sample households identified certain market constraints that were responsible for low earning from NTFPs. These were lack of road infrastructure, communication, storage and market facilities, no information about product price, negative role of middleman and informal money lending process. Based on these findings this study made following recommendations. Road, communication and storage facilities should be built in the study areas. Villager’s access to information about certain NTFP price and its market should be enhanced through radio and other media. The real estate market in areas with many socio-economic activities needs to be strictly managed due to the difference between the market price of urban land and the price of land set by the state. This study identifies and analyzes the influence of some factors on land prices in peri-urban areas to develop land pricing standards consistent with the price level in Nghe An province. The study surveyed 362 land users and 200 samples of successfully transferred properties in the study area. Based on the multivariate regression method, the study builds a residential land price model and calculates the market price of residential land. The authors also established a map of land value areas to help State agencies manage land prices effectively. The research serves as a basis for State agencies to study the formation and development of the real estate market to develop appropriate land price management measures.

Hydrogen will be an important part of China's energy system in the future and an important carrier for energy-using terminals to realize green and low-carbon transformation. It is important to establish a nationwide hydrogen market to promote the healthy and orderly development of the hydrogen industry chain. The core is to form a complete hydrogen price mechanism and play a decisive role in the process of resource allocation by the market. In this paper, we have developed the framework of the 'China Hydrogen Price Index' system by establishing the 'Assessment + Collection' model, which covers four types of hydrogen: hydrogen, clean hydrogen, renewable hydrogen and high-purity hydrogen. The model considers the raw materials required for hydrogen production, fixed equipment, engineering construction costs and carbon prices, and conducts sensitivity analysis on the trends and influencing factors of national and regional hydrogen prices of multiple categories since 2018. The results show that, with respect to the level of hydrogen prices, fossil-energy-rich and renewable-energy-rich areas have more advantages than other regions. The price of raw materials is the main factor of the hydrogen price change, and the utilization hours of renewable energy and hydrogen production equipment have a key influence on the price of renewable hydrogen. Next, by establishing an index update mechanism, improving the standard system and building a trading platform, we can further exert the role of price signals and continue to promote the efficient and smooth expansion of the domestic hydrogen market. The restrictions and requirements imposed by historic preservation regulations bring about many changes to the rights of property owners. They might impose additional costs, most notably by prohibiting the demolition of designated buildings and thus decreasing property-development opportunities. The objective of this study is to examine what happens following world heritage designations; specifically, if and how such designations impact the property values of historic buildings. Using the hedonic price method, we measure the value of the option to demolish and rebuild that is denied to owners of designated buildings. We also measure the value of preservation regulations, expressed in the prices of apartments in designated buildings. The study area is the “White City” of Tel Aviv, which UNESCO designated as a world heritage site. The findings suggest that the market price of a designated building is on average 12.5% lower than its theoretical value if the building was not subject to historic preservation regulations. Moreover, a premium of approximately 14% was found in the price of apartment units in designated buildings if the building underwent preservation. These findings could have a direct impact on public policies designed to promote the preservation of historical buildings in world heritage sites.

This study investigated the effects of COVID-19 on the market prices, spending on fish purchases, and consumer satisfaction level based on a random survey of 247 fish consumers in Bangladesh. The Propensity Score Matching (PSM) was employed to make comparisons between two consumer groups (who consumed Pre-COVID-19 and during COVID-19). Besides, consumer satisfaction with income, purchase frequency, quantity consumed, market price, fish quality, and availability during the pandemic was analyzed using the relative index, while the Tobit regression model was used to estimate the determinants of satisfaction level. Prices of cultured and captured fish species such as pangas, catla, mrigel, common carp, mola, tengra, bayeem, boal, shoil, have experienced sharp price fluctuation during COVID-19 due to supply chain disruptions and changing fish supplies in the market. The reduction in expenses on culture fish species varied from $4.190 to $4.212 while the reduction in expenses on capture fish species ranged from $7.985 to $8.178. In addition, low-income individuals are relatively less satisfied with their income, amount, frequency, and price of fish purchases than the lower middle, upper middle- and high-income groups. Consumer satisfaction declined during COVID-19 while income, frequency, and quantity of purchases plummeted and fish market prices increased. Therefore, the government might place a greater emphasis on eradicating supply chain disruption during pandemic like COVID-19 by avoiding nationwide lockdown to maintain stability in the market prices of fish, spending on fish purchases, consumer income, and make all income groups satisfied.

Russia is China's main log supplier and has implemented a series of log export control policies. The implementation of Russia's export control policy has inevitably had an impact on China's timber processing industry. This paper uses breakpoint regression to analyse the impact of the increase in the import price of logs under the Russian log export control policy on the market price of timber products in China. The results show that under the control policy, the increase in log import prices had a significant positive impact on the timber product market when April 2008, January 2010 and January 2019 were the breakpoints. Due to the lag effects in price transmission, the impact on China's timber product market was not reflected when July 2007 and January 2018 were the breakpoints. Sustainable land use is one of the emergent mountain concerns which requires immediate policy and regulatory attention. This study examines land use change and land prices at three different 5-yearly intervals: 2019, 2014 and 2009 respectively in three urbanizing districts of Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan. Empirical evidences are gathered by using mixed-method approaches. Findings of the study suggest that households' land holdings of cultivated and uncultivated patches have declined significantly whereas, built-up area continued to rise over the years. Simultaneously, value of land in the urban centers has increased exponentially. As a result, sustainability of future economic benefits and ecosystem health becomes a major challenge for local community and policy makers. Therefore, this study recommends effective and sustainable land use planning with the emphasis on legislation, policy making, judicious and healthy use of ecosystem services and local ownership synced with customary laws and traditional knowledge. This study focuses on the production and profitability of the broiler farming by using Cobb-Douglas production function and Benefit-Cost analysis. For this purpose, data were collected from 50 broiler farmers living in Birol and Sadar upazila of Dinajpur district in 2020. The result revealed that involvement in broiler production seems to be profitable for the small-scale broiler farmers for the study areas notifying by net return as Tk. 6681 with a benefit-cost ratio greater than one, whereas the gross return was Tk.193367. The net return over the total cost is 0.075. Stock collapse has profound impacts on ecosystems and fisheries, while the economic impacts have been less studied. The blackspot seabream stock collapsed in the early 1980s and has remain depleted since. The relationship between landings and prices was strongly negative during the decades spanning the collapse (1973–1990) and less during the low stock period with management measures (2003–2020). For other selected species, a significant negative relationship was only found for two species (out of 14) during the earlier period. In contrast, since 2003 prices decreased with landings for most species (10/17) irrespective of their characteristics and their management by a TAC or not. Short-term variations in blackspot seabream prices and landings were also negatively related during the collapse period, indicating rapid market adjustment to decreasing availability. In contrast, in recent years, short-term price variations were not linked to availability change, neither for blackspot seabream nor for most other species (10/17). The study reveals the strong unique effect the blackspot seabream collapse had on price. In this article, we introduce an intelligent probabilistic uncertainty-guided prediction model for energy market price modeling based on the lower–upper bound estimation method. The proposed method borrows the prediction interval (PI) concept to replace the traditional point–point estimation process. Making use of the PI, the forecast error would be captured within the upper and lower bounds of the PI. The proposed method uses the long–short term networks to learn the complex and nonlinear dataset of market prices with high accuracy. Considering the conflicting nature of the prediction indices, a fuzzy min–max solution is introduced to get into a compromised solution. From the optimization point of view, a new method based on the grey wolf algorithm (GWA) is proposed to adjust the model hyperparameters suitably. Moreover, a new modification is introduced to increase the diversity of the GWA and, thus, enhance its search capability.
