Cluster headache (CH) is a common primary headache that severely impacts patients' quality of life, characterized by recurrent, severe, unilateral headaches often centered around the eyes, temples, or forehead. Distinguishing CH from other headache disorders is challenging, and its pathogenesis remains unclear. Notably, patients with CH often experience high levels of depression and suicidal tendencies, necessitating increased clinical attention. This comprehensive assessment combines various reports and the latest scientific literature to evaluate the current state of CH research. It covers epidemiology, population characteristics, predisposing factors, and treatment strategies. Additionally, we provide strategic insights into the holistic management of CH, which involves continuous, individualized care throughout the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation stages. Recent advances in the field have revealed new insights into the pathophysiology of CH. While these findings are still evolving, they offer a more detailed understanding of the neurobiological mechanisms underlying this disorder. Objective: To study the correlation between condylar morphology and clinical manifestations in patients with degenerative joint disease (DJD) of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Methods: A total of 175 joints of 131 patients with DJD were included. Data on patients' basic information and symptoms were collected and analyzed. Condylar morphology was evaluated using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). The correlation between the condylar morphology and clinical manifestations was analyzed. Results: The prevalence of joint noises, clicks, and crepitus was 93/175 (53%), 73/175 (42%), and 20/175 (11%), respectively. Condylar anteroposterior diameter and condylar height were correlated with pain. There was a correlation between the shape of the condyle in the sagittal plane and joint noise. The study delves into the phenomenon of speech deviation from the apparent meaning, analyzing its manifestations, and exploring the rhetorical devices employed, such as diversion, manifestation, ellipsis, expressing the past through future terminology, and vice versa. The research aims to uncover the rhetorical secrets behind these linguistic deviations. At the conclusion of the study, the researcher arrived at several key findings, notably that the examination of this linguistic phenomenon revealed some artistic techniques that justify the transition from implicit to explicit and vice versa. The study also highlights the significance of various forms of speech deviation, such as diversion and expressing the past through future terminology, as important rhetorical methods discussed by scholars of rhetoric and interpretation. These methods play a crucial role in conveying meanings to the reader more clearly. Furthermore, the research establishes the uniqueness of the Quranic text by showcasing a set of stylistic deviations from the apparent meaning in Surah Al-Imran. It solidifies the strong roots of Quranic rhetoric in the field of rhetorical Quranic studies, emphasizing that the Quranic text remains an eternal miracle across ages and times. This study was conducted to determine the level of manifestation of critical performance roles among school heads and the level of school performance in the City Schools Division of Cabuyao that becomes the basis in crafting the performance roles mentoring program. As the results revealed, the level of manifestation of critical performance roles of school heads in terms of relational, authentic, visionary, quality and service leadership were all highly manifested. There is no significant difference between the assessments of teachers and school heads on the critical performance roles. In terms of school achievement rate, none of the public schools has gotten a high level of school achievement rate. In terms of Teachers' Performance, there have been 14% of the teachers who have outstanding level of performance. Meanwhile, 86% of the teachers' performances fall in the very satisfactory level of performance. It implies that there is significant relationship between the level of manifestation of critical performance roles among school heads and school performance in terms of service and teachers' performance. On the other hand, there is no significant relationship between the level of manifestation of critical performance roles among school heads and school performance in relational, authentic, visionary and quality leadership. Based from the findings, the school heads are able to establish good relationship with their teachers and stakeholders; able to perform their duties particularly in developing and promoting an open and change-friendly culture; able to demonstrate leadership skill which focuses in producing self-directed and quality learners by creating and implementing school programs and projects; able to exhibit excellent leadership in handling the teachers, dealing with the school stakeholders, and managing school operations. It also depicts that the teachers' performance in school has been influenced by the service leadership of their school heads. Land disputes have significantly disrupted legal order, production, and social harmony, and has been regarded as a quintessential challenge in public governance, attracting worldwide attentions from scholars. As an emblematic feature of China's latest reform and opening-up strategy, the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) in China has experienced rapid development after entering the new era (2012–2021) alongside substantial risks and challenges, particularly regarding land disputes. Better understanding of the manifestation and formation mechanism of new characteristics of land disputes is beneficial for contemporary public governance and for achieving a high-quality development of the YREB, whose Gross Domestic Product (GDP) accounted for 46.3% of the national GDP in 2023. A total of 325,105 land dispute cases in 11 provinces or municipalities of the YREB from 2012 to 2021 were collected and analyzed. On this basis, an evaluation index system of the new characteristics of land disputes, named the overall land dispute (OLD) index, was constructed according to measurement theory by coupling the interactions of quantity, claim amounts, duration periods, and the appeal rate of land dispute. Then, the OLD index was evaluated by descriptive statistical methods, a geographic information system (GIS) spatial analysis, a center of gravity model, kernel density estimation, and Theil index methods, to reveal the new characteristics and formation mechanisms of land disputes in the YREB from 2012 to 2021. The results indicated that: (1) The OLD index exhibited a trend of an initial increase followed by a decline, indicating that land disputes in the YREB showed signs of alleviation. (2) The government's capacity for resolving land disputes was significantly improved, as evidenced by the decline in the OLD index from 0.59 in 2018 to 0.51 in 2021. This improvement could be attributed to the effectiveness of enhanced governmental working mechanisms, regulatory standards, and the integration of digital technologies. (3) The analysis of the center of gravity model indicated that the focus of land disputes shifted westward, propelled by national policy support for upstream regions of the YREB and the need for land ecological protection. (4) The analysis of kernel density estimation indicated that regional disparities in land disputes within the YREB had declined, driven by a positive trend toward balanced regional development and rural governance. Background: The rich tapestry of student politics and movements in Bangladesh is marked by a history of significant contributions to the country's sociopolitical landscape. This study was prompted by a keen interest in exploring the dynamics of contemporary student movements at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU), Gopalganj, and their interplay with the broader sociopolitical climate of Bangladesh. A critical examination of these movements reveals a complex web of motivations, strategies, and outcomes that both mirror and influence national sociopolitical dialogues. Methods: Employing qualitative research methods, including in-depth interviews (IDI) with 26 individuals directly affected by the culture and mechanics of these movements, this study uncovers the nuanced ways in which student activism at BSMRSTU mobilizes cultural ideologies toward societal change. Purposive and snowball sampling techniques were utilized to select participants, revealing that the rhetoric of movements--framed around justice, rights, equality, and reform--plays a crucial role in recruiting and energizing participants. Results: However, this investigation also highlights a darker facet of these movements: the destructive consequences of specific actions, such as property damage, which not only impact the immediate community but also fuel further unrest. The prevalence of movements centered on themes of injustice underscores the urgent need for both governmental and academic institutions to engage more constructively with student concerns. Addressing this gap requires a nuanced understanding of the motivations behind student movements and a commitment to implementing policies that nurture a culture of dialogue and reform. Conclusion: This study, therefore, problematizes the contemporary student movements at BSMRSTU by questioning the balance between activism and the potential for unintended consequences, urging a reevaluation of how such movements are perceived and managed in the context of Bangladesh's evolving sociopolitical milieu. Hepatic hydrothorax is a pleural effusion (typically ≥500 mL) that develops in patients with cirrhosis and/or portal hypertension in the absence of other causes. In most cases, hepatic hydrothorax is seen in patients with ascites. However, ascites is not always found at diagnosis and is not clinically detected in 20% of patients with hepatic hydrothorax. Some patients have no symptoms and incidental findings on radiologic examination lead to the diagnosis of the condition. In the majority of cases, the patients present with symptoms such as dyspnea at rest, cough, nausea, and pleuritic chest pain. The diagnosis of hepatic hydrothorax is based on clinical manifestations, radiological features, and thoracocentesis to exclude other etiologies such as infection (parapneumonic effusion, tuberculosis), malignancy (lymphoma, adenocarcinoma) and chylothorax. The management strategy involves a stepwise approach of one or more of the following: Reducing ascitic fluid production, preventing fluid transfer to the pleural space, fluid drainage from the pleural cavity, pleurodesis (obliteration of the pleural cavity), and liver transplantation. The complications of hepatic hydrothorax are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. The complication that causes the highest morbidity and mortality is spontaneous bacterial empyema (also called spontaneous bacterial pleuritis).

Recently, there have been reports in the scientific-medical literature about the occurrence of renal pathology after COVID-19 of moderate severity, detected 1 year after this viral infection. Often such changes are detected for the first time. It is now known that after a severe course of COVID-19, interstitial lesions are found in the kidneys, and glomerular changes are added over time. Today, there is no clear answer as to which changes predominate in patients with moderate COVID-19. Of great interest is the probability of glomerulonephritis manifestation 1 year after moderate COVID-19. The aim of the study was to identify a possible relationship between moderate COVID-19 and the manifestation of glomerulonephritis. Materials and methods. We studied 25 patients with stage I-II chronic glomerulonephritis (GN) who had moderate COVID-19 1 year ago, 27 patients who had moderate COVID 1 year ago without the onset of glomerulonephritis, and 20 healthy people with no history of COVID-19. Cluster and classification methods of data mining, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were used to study the levels of IL-1 β, IL-6, IL-10 in blood and urine. We investigated possible relationships between moderate-severe COVID-19 and the manifestation of glomerulonephritis. For this purpose, three different clustering methods were used, which are based on completely different mathematical theories: the classical method of k-means, Kohonen maps (neural networks), fuzzy k-means (fuzzy logic). The research was carried out within the framework of the National Research Council of the Department of Internal Medicine of Bukovyna State Medical University «Clinical-pathogenetic justification of differentiated treatment of patients with combined pathology of internal organs» (0122U002209 02.2022-12.2026). Results. A significant increase in the content of IL-1β (p<0.05), IL-6 (p<0.05) and a decrease in the content of IL-10 in blood and urine (p<0.05) were found in patients with chronic glomerulonephritis who were sick with COVID-19 of moderate severity 1 year ago (p<0. 05), and a decrease in the level of IL-10 only in blood in patients who had COVID-19 of moderate severity 1 year ago without further development of glomerulonephritis (p<0.05). The clustering technique confirmed the association between moderate COVID-19 and glomerulonephritis. Significant indicators were found: IL-1β in urine, IL-6 in urine, IL-6 in blood. The main factor that characterizes the patient's belonging to the healthy cluster is urine IL-1β with the same threshold -4.953≤ urine IL-1β ≤ 9.431, but the factor that determines the belonging to the disease type is urine IL-6 factor (urine IL-6> 0.994). Such an analysis gives reason to believe that COVID-19 of moderate severity may have signs of a factor causing the manifestation of glomerulonephritis. Conclusion. In clinical practice, the method of clustering and classification analysis can be used to determine the main factors for diagnosis and prognosis (urine IL-1β, urine IL-6, blood IL-6). This diagnostic method, which differs from the usual regression methods, is based on the application of clustering and classification methods of data mining and allows to establish the relationship between the diagnosis of COVID-19 of moderate severity and glomerulonephritis manifesting after 1 year. To help explain in a principled way why criminal law doctrine tends to abstract away from motives and other individualized circumstances, I have defended an insufficient regard theory of criminal culpability that is more objective in certain respects than other views in the same camp. This has led Alec Walen to object that my view is too objective to be an account of culpability and is better understood as a theory of criminal wrongs. This challenge is important not least because it requires getting clearer about what wrongness and culpability are and what roles they play on a legal moralist picture of the criminal law. Here, I argue that Walen's objection is mistaken. Once we get clearer on what distinguishes wrongness and culpability, it becomes clear that my account is best seen as a theory of culpability. This is so even though it calculates degrees of culpability in a more objective way than other insufficient regard views. Besides just defending my account from Walen's objection, this paper aims to make a positive contribution by developing a more sophisticated version of the Manifestation Account I proposed earlier. To do this, I focus on the main area of criminal law doctrine where culpability comes apart from wrongness – namely, excuse cases. My earlier Manifestation Account is implausible – or at least limited – because it has nothing distinctive to say about how to determine the culpability of excused misconduct. Accordingly, the theory would be, if not outright false, at best incompatible with the orthodox view in criminal law theory, which takes excuses to accept wrongdoing but deny culpability. To solve this problem and enhance the Manifestation Account's explanatory value, I show how to extend the theory to account for the culpability of wrongs where a putatively excusing condition is in play. This not only fills a gap in the Manifestation Account but has the further benefit of providing a unified reasons-based account of the main categories of misconduct in the criminal law, which shows what separates criminal wrongness from culpability both in justification cases and excuse cases. The hope is that this effort will shed light on the distinct roles of wrongness and culpability in legal moralist theories of the criminal law and provide a better understanding of degrees of culpability for criminal wrongs – not only when justifications are at issue, but also when excuses are involved. One of the significant topics of mystical worldview is the concept of “Manifestation” and appearance of Supreme Being in the world. Ala'a al-Dawla Semnani is one of the prominent mystics of 8th century AH in whose masterpiece, Al-Urwah, manifestation has an especial place. In the present descriptive-analytical study, we have endeavored to illustrate the types of manifestations, its terminologies, and the unique metaphors that attributed to it in Ibn 'Arabi’s theories. By providing evidences from 'Al-Urwah', we aim to demonstrate that Semnani has drawn upon Ibn 'Arabi's concepts of manifestation and its related terminologies. Findings of the present research indicate that the primary source of Ala'a alDawla's words on manifestation is the thoughts of Ibn 'Arabi. Therefore, it is necessary to revise and change the current viewpoints regarding the thought relation between Ala'a alDawla and Ibn 'Arabi. In spite of his famous opposition to Ibn 'Arabi on the issue of the unity of existence (Monism), Sheikh of Semnan has followed ibn 'Arabi's commentary on the issue of manifestation. On the other hand, the idea of manifestation in 'Al-Urwah' has been explained and influenced by Ash'ari's beliefs and firmly linked to the ideas of Divine knowledge and will of God. When governments are structurally unable to provide social services, or when disaster strikes, relief organisations tend to step in. This is also the case in South and East Asia. Such organisations may be faith-based, leading to the emergence of what Asians colloquially call “rice Christians”: persons who (allegedly) convert to a religion in order to access services, or out of loyalty to the aid-supplying organisation. Such converts may continue to practice their traditional religions and beliefs. This raises the question whether rights to religion or belief are still available to “rice Christians” when governments, e.g., seek to redevelop a sacred site that formed part of their original belief system. The present article addresses that question, drawing upon the concept of multiple religious belonging (‘mrb’) and a 2017 decision of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights in which the court accepted that individuals may adhere to multiple religions, especially where conversion happened within a missionary context and the now-claimed belief is Indigenous or traditional. It argues in favour of recognition of mrb within the context of freedom of religion, which would mean that also “rice Christians” can continue to rely on original belief systems to protect their practices and places. Coronaviruses are a large family of enveloped RNA viruses found in numerous animal species. They are well known for their ability to cross species barriers and have been transmitted from bats or intermediate hosts to humans on several occasions. Four of the seven human coronaviruses (hCoVs) are responsible for approximately 20% of common colds (hCoV-229E, -NL63, -OC43, -HKU1). Two others (SARS-CoV-1 and MERS-CoV) cause severe and frequently lethal respiratory syndromes but have only spread to very limited extents in the human population. In contrast the most recent human hCoV, SARS-CoV-2, while exhibiting intermediate pathogenicity, has a profound impact on public health due to its enormous spread. In this review, we discuss which initial features of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein and subsequent adaptations to the new human host may have helped this pathogen to cause the COVID-19 pandemic. Our focus is on host forces driving changes in the Spike protein and their consequences for virus infectivity, pathogenicity, immune evasion and resistance to preventive or therapeutic agents. Sebagai penghafal Al-Qur’an memiliki sifat istiqomah adalah sebagai sebuah keharusan. Dan pada prosesnya ada beberapa kendala yang di alami dalam perwujudan sikap istiqomah dalam menghafal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui bagaimana perilaku istiqomah pada proses menghafal al-Qur’an, serta faktor penghambat dan pendukung, dan bagaimana manifestasi QS: 46 (13-14) pada upaya membangun perilaku istiqomah pada proses menghafal al-Qur’an di SD Takhassus Al-Qur’an Wonosobo. Penelitian ini adalah studi tentang latar belakang situasi yang dirinci secara intensif dan interaksi individu, sosial, dan kelompoknya.. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Manifestasi ayat dalam QS: 46 (13-14) dapat meningkatkan semangat anak agar tetap istiqomah dalam menghafal al-Qur’an dengan didasari dan didukung oleh peraturan sekolah dan asrama serta asatidz dan pembina kamar yang selalu mendampingi dan menjadi juru kunci kesuksesan dalam pengamalan ayat ayat al-Qur’an agar bisa di amalkan kepada anak dalam proses menghafal al-Qur’an.

This research aimed to study the clinical and microbiological characteristics of K. pneumoniae co-infections in pulmonary tuberculosis cases.Methods: Clinical manifestations and examination results of PTB cases co-infected by K. pneumoniae were retrospectively collected from the medical record database of a tertiary teaching hospital in China between November 2019 and October 2021. The K. pneumoniae strains isolated from the patients were sent for whole-genome sequencing. Statistical analyses were conducted using Stata v.14.0.Results: A total of 80 strains were collected from 76 PTB patients with K. pneumoniae co-infections (two strains were isolated from each of the four patients at different time points), including 37 primary and 39 retreated TB cases. Among these, 29 (36.3%) of the K. pneumoniae isolates were extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing strains, and seven (8.8%) were determined as carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) strains. We found that patients in the multidrug resistance (MDR)-group received more respiratory support than the non-MDR group (40.6% vs 18.2%, P= 0.031) and possessed higher elevated C-reactive protein (62.6% vs 41.8%, P=0.008) and lower haemoglobin (87.5% vs 47.7%, P=0.001). We found that 80.3% (61/76) patients had lung lesions and 57.8% (44/76) patients were immunocompromised within one month. The most common K. pneumoniae strain sequence type was ST23 (15%), followed by ST15 (12.5%) and ST273 (7.5%). Among the strains, 26.25% were classically hypervirulent K1/K2 K. pneumoniae, and all carried salmochelin and rmpA.Conclusion: This study demonstrated the important clinical features, phenotypic and genomic characteristics of isolated strains of PTB patients with K. pneumoniae co-infection. These data suggested a special attention for multidrug resistant K. pneumoniae infections with more obvious inflammatory responses which calls for more respiratory support and timely clinical management.Keywords: Klebsiella pneumoniae, tuberculosis, co-infection, manifestation, multidrug resistant

The work takes the perspective of a 'correction' of the phenomenological evidence: understood as an unavailable form of the symbolic experience of meaning, intrinsically marked by the necessary dispatch to the invisible axiological of meaning. In this rectification, the giving of meaning is irreducible to the description of empirical meaning (referred to as "manifestation"), but makes it indispensable for the determination of lived meaning (referred to as "revelation"). Context: Leading up to the March 2020 global COVID-19 lockdown, an important movement was building power across so-called Canada. What began as a continuation of the decades-long, localized struggle for self-determination in Wet’suwet’en territory quickly became a focal point for nationwide Indigenous resistance, refusal, and solidarity. Analysis: Drawing from literature on media framing, this article examines the use of war frames in early 2020 news depictions of mobilizations in solidarity with Wet’suwet’en. The analysis suggests that war frames are operationalized to simultaneously naturalize police violence while also validating the sovereignty of Indigenous nations. Conclusion and implications: This work contributes not only to the literature on the framing of protests by the mainstream media but also to the ongoing project of unsettling conditions of settler colonial power in Canadian society. BACKGROUND In this study, we wanted to evaluate the clinical profile of risk factors of coronary artery disease as first manifestation in women with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) METHODS This is a hospital based prospective observational study conducted among 100 female patients who presented with acute first myocardial infarction to the Department of Medicine of ACSR Government Medical College, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, in a period of 18 months after obtaining clearance from Institutional Ethics Committee and written informed consent from the study participants. RESULTS The average BMI was 27.9 +/- 3.23 kg/m² in the study population. 72 (72 %) had STEMI, 18 (18 %) were NSTEMI and 10 (10 %) were diagnosed as UA. In 6 (5.6 percent) of the patients, ECHO revealed moderate MR, and all of them had STEMI. Mild MR is found in 22 (22%) of the individuals. The average ejection percentage was 47 %. CONCLUSION Diabetes mellitus (DM), hypertension (HTN), dyslipidaemia, obesity and physical inactivity, as well as a family history of coronary artery disease (CAD), are common risk factors in the research population. Patient features such as advanced age, STEMI diagnosis, late presentation, and higher Killip's class and TIMI risk scores were found to be linked with significant morbidity and mortality. Allah SWT has created this environment to meet our needs, as we depend on it for our survival. This shows how crucial it is for us to treat our environment wisely, ensuring it can continue supporting us. However, not everyone treats the environment wisely. Sometimes people prioritize their own interests without considering the long-term health of nature. This can lead to resources running out or becoming damaged. This article explores how the teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW guide us in preserving the environment, both through what he said and what he did. Prophet Muhammad SAW’s guidance encourages us to act responsibly when using the environment. These teachings also highlight that we are responsible for taking care of the environment, as Allah SWT has chosen us to look after it. Allah SWT knows that humans can be greedy and harm nature. So, Allah SWT has rewards and consequences based on how we treat the environment. When we follow Islamic teachings, we are rewarded, and when we disregard them, there are consequences. Following these teachings means thinking about the environment’s long-term well-being. It means taking positive care of nature so that all of Allah SWT’s creations—living things and the environment—can thrive. Ultimately, this approach benefits us, leading to a complete, beautiful, peaceful, healthy, and refreshing environment

A proposition or logical proposition is the smallest unit of knowledge defined as “justified true belief”. Some Qur'anic verses are a single proposition and some contain several propositions. Quranic propositions are sometimes religious laws. Sometimes they are moral and sometimes they are philosophical. In the same way, sometimes Quranic propositions are mystical. What are the criteria and indicators of the mystical nature of Quranic propositions? This question is the main question of this article. According to the findings of this study, being related to the unity of existence in the true and defensible sense, being related to the unity of divine acts, denoting multiple mystical worlds, denoting a descent arc and an ascent arc, denoting the stream of consciousness and knowledge in the whole existence, etc.,… are some of the criteria for being mystical propositions in the Qur'an. It should be noted that in this article theoretical mysticism is the basis of the discussion and practical mysticism requires its own independent writing.

Land disputes have significantly disrupted legal order, production, and social harmony, and has been regarded as a quintessential challenge in public governance, attracting worldwide attentions from scholars. As an emblematic feature of China’s latest reform and opening-up strategy, the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) in China has experienced rapid development after entering the new era (2012–2021) alongside substantial risks and challenges, particularly regarding land disputes. Better understanding of the manifestation and formation mechanism of new characteristics of land disputes is beneficial for contemporary public governance and for achieving a high-quality development of the YREB, whose Gross Domestic Product (GDP) accounted for 46.3% of the national GDP in 2023. A total of 325,105 land dispute cases in 11 provinces or municipalities of the YREB from 2012 to 2021 were collected and analyzed. On this basis, an evaluation index system of the new characteristics of land disputes, named the overall land dispute (OLD) index, was constructed according to measurement theory by coupling the interactions of quantity, claim amounts, duration periods, and the appeal rate of land dispute. Then, the OLD index was evaluated by descriptive statistical methods, a geographic information system (GIS) spatial analysis, a center of gravity model, kernel density estimation, and Theil index methods, to reveal the new characteristics and formation mechanisms of land disputes in the YREB from 2012 to 2021. The results indicated that: (1) The OLD index exhibited a trend of an initial increase followed by a decline, indicating that land disputes in the YREB showed signs of alleviation. (2) The government’s capacity for resolving land disputes was significantly improved, as evidenced by the decline in the OLD index from 0.59 in 2018 to 0.51 in 2021. This improvement could be attributed to the effectiveness of enhanced governmental working mechanisms, regulatory standards, and the integration of digital technologies. (3) The analysis of the center of gravity model indicated that the focus of land disputes shifted westward, propelled by national policy support for upstream regions of the YREB and the need for land ecological protection. (4) The analysis of kernel density estimation indicated that regional disparities in land disputes within the YREB had declined, driven by a positive trend toward balanced regional development and rural governance. This study provides scientific insights into the new characteristics of land disputes in the YREB and guidance for policy decision making on effective land dispute management.

BACKGROUND: Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D) is an autoimmune disorder that leads to pancreatic β-cells destruction and progressive decrease of insulin secretion. Specific islet autoantibodies (AAbs) are the main diagnostic marker of T1D. Residual β-cell function, as measured by C-peptide, has repeatedly been demonstrated to be clinically important.AIM: To study the frequency and levels of residual C-peptide secretion and persistence of pancreatic AAbs in children with T1D with different duration and age of manifestation of the disease.MATERIALS AND METHODS: The levels of C-peptide and AAbs to ZnT8 (zinc transporter 8), AAbs to IA-2 (Insulinoma Antigen 2), AAbs to GAD (Glutamate Decarboxylase), IAA (insulin autoantibodies) were measured. Patients were divided into 3 groups depending on the duration of T1D (1st — 5 years) and age of manifestation (A — prepubertal and B — puberty).RESULTS: The median duration of T1D was 1.8 [0,8;3,9], 76.3% out of 1333 patients were seropositive, 40% had residual levels of C-peptide. With disease duration there were a decrease in AAbs+: 1st group 74%, 2nd group 69%, and 3rd group 48%. In all groups, percentage of patients with positive levels of one or more AAbs was significantly higher in children with T1D manifestation at puberty. Yaşadığı dönemden günümüze değin tasavvuf ehlinin öncülerinden olmuş, Dîvân’ı başta olmak üzere kaleme almış olduğu tüm eserleriyle Türk İslam Edebiyatı alanına büyük katkı sağlamıştır. Tasavvuf Edebiyatı çizgisinden ayrılmayan şair, başta Dîvân-ı İlâhiyât olmak üzere eserlerinin neredeyse tümünde tasavvuf düşüncelerine yer vermiştir. Lucio Phenomenon (LPh) is a reactional state usually observed in untreated or inadequately treated leprosy and is a life-threatening medical emergency. Several cases of LPh have been reported in Indonesia, which is an endemic country with highest burden of new case besides India and Brazil. Generally, histopathological findings in LPh reveal granulomatous and panniculitis reactions with vascular infiltration of acid fast bacilli. However, it is still debatable whether the main pathophysiology of necrosis is due to occlusive vasculopathy or immune complex-mediated process. In this study, we report clinical and histopathological descriptions of 3 patients with LPh. The first case was resulted with severe necrosis, mortality and massive bacilli infiltration with endothelial damage on histopathology examination. The second and third case presented less severe manifestation with multiple ulcers covered with hemorrhagic crust and mild necrosis. The histopathology examination showed minimal inflammation on the endothelial. This serial case report showed that histopathological examination might be useful as a prediction value on LPh since it can characterize the basic pathogenesis process. Nowruz Ali Sorani (1220-1290 AH) is considered one of the prominent figures in the Yarestani tradition. He has a divan of a religious nature, written in Gorani Kurdish, in which he explores various issues such as theology, anthropology, philosophical and religious matters, and more. As no independent research has been conducted on this poet and the subject of ontology in his words, the present study focuses on the Mystic ontology in the writings of Nowruz Ali Sorani. The discussion of being and ontology is one of the important issues in Islamic mysticism, which is reflected as the richest idea in the works of mystical writers and poets. Ontology is a term that is mentioned in recent works with the titles of anthropology, epistemology, cognition of the world, etc. Therefore, one of the main objectives of this research is to introduce the capabilities of this poet to non-Kurdish speakers and to explore his thoughts and ideas. The statistical population includes the book of Nowruz Ali Sorani, which has been analyzed in a library method, using the content analysis technique. The research results indicate that Sorani discusses topics such as theology, human beings, creation, the afterlife, the Day of Judgment, manifestation of the essence and attributes, divine secrets, belief in the Day of Resurrection, and more throughout his writings, indicating the aspects of ontology in his divan. Soil liquefaction remains an important and interesting problem that has attracted the development of enumerable prediction models. Increasingly, these models are utilizing algorithmic learning or "artificial intelligence" (AI). The rapid growth of AI in the liquefaction literature is unsurprising, given its ease of implementation and potential advantages over traditional statistical methods. However, AI liquefaction models have been widely ignored by practitioners and researchers alike; the objective of this article is to investigate "why?" Through a sample review of 75 publications, we identify several good reasons. Namely, these models frequently (1) are not compared to state-of-practice models, making it unclear why they should be adopted; (2) depart from best practices in model development; (3) use AI in ways that may not be useful; (4) are presented in ways that overstate their complexity and make them unapproachable; and (5) are discussed but not actually provided, meaning that no one can use the models even if they wanted to. These prevailing problems must be understood, identified, and remedied, but this does not mean that AI itself is problematic or that all prior efforts have been without merit or utility. Instead, understanding these recurrent shortcomings can help improve the direction and perceptions of this growing body of work. Toward this end, we highlight papers that are generally free from these shortcomings, and which demonstrate applications where AI is more likely to provide value in the near-term: permitting new modeling approaches and potentially improving predictions of liquefaction phenomena. Relevance. In recent years, there has been an increase in the prevalence of allergic rhinitis (AR) in children, which varies depending on the child's age, region of residence, the presence of comorbid allergic diseases and other risk factors.Purpose of the study. To study the nature of comorbid allergic diseases, their manifestation in children of 7–8 years of age with allergic rhinitis on the basis of the data of parental questionnaires.Materials and methods. A survey of parents of first-graders in 3 schools in Smolensk, located in different districts of the city, was carried out. In total, 400 questionnaires were handed out, 379 (94,75%) were returned filled. The average age of children was 7.7±0.02 y.o. The questions in the questionnaire included physically verified diagnoses of allergic diseases, risk factors, heredity, age of children at the time of manifestation of an allergic disease, the presence of comorbid allergic diseases in children with AR. The questionnaire was approved at a meeting of the «Pediatrics» section of the Ethics Committee of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education of the SSMU of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated 25.03.2017. Statistical processing was performed using the Microsoft Excel software package and 95% confidence intervals.Results. It was found that in a cohort of 7–8 year old children in Smolensk, the incidence of AR is 18.2%, atopic dermatitis — 11.9%, bronchial asthma — 2.9%, food allergy — 12.2%, insect allergy — 12.4%, allergic conjunctivitis — 3.97%, drug allergy — 15.6%, allergic contact dermatitis — 4.5%. Analysis of the data obtained in children with AR showed that the manifestation of year-round AR is mainly observed at the age of 2 to 5 years, and seasonal AR — from 3 to 5 years and older than 5 years. It has also been shown that multimorbidity is present, i.e. combination of AR with other allergic diseases; in particular, with atopic dermatitis in 47.8% of cases, bronchial asthma in 10.1%, food allergy in 30.4%, allergic conjunctivitis in 15.9%. One third of children with AR have comorbid diseases of a non-IgE-dependent or mixed mechanism, such as drug allergy, insect allergy, and every tenth child has allergic contact dermatitis. The manifestation of comorbid allergic diseases took place at different age periods, which indicates multimorbidity in children with allergic rhinitis.Conclusion. The results of our study show that AR is the most common allergic disease in children of 7–8 years of age living in the city of Smolensk. In almost half of the cases, AR is characterized by multimorbidity. This fact must be taken into account when developing individual tactics for managing children with AR.

This article discusses a rare case of Meige syndrome, a type of cranial dystonia characterized by blepharospasm and oromandibular dystonia, in a patient with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). The patient experienced symptoms of blepharospasm with apraxia of eyelid opening and jaw-closing oromandibular dystonia after starting levodopa therapy. The symptoms were relieved with a decrease in levodopa dosage and the administration of botulinum toxin type A. The article highlights the rarity of this manifestation in PSP and suggests that further research is needed to understand its significance and frequency in PSP. [Extracted from the article]

Freedom of assembly has several historical roots. In early times, freedom of assembly was closely linked with the right to petition, that is, the self-interest of citizens and the public good were directed against the monarch. In consultative forms of direct democracy, the use of individual institutions of freedom of assembly in public and political processes is very important. Thus, for people to be able to exercise their public rights, they can effectively influence political power through the institution of freedom of assembly, in a consultative form. This is one of the main means of balancing the activities of political power. The freedom of assembly is guaranteed by legal guarantees and corresponding restrictions of the Constitution and international agreements. The main goal of the state is to take appropriate measures for peaceful and free assembly without weapons. The principle of equality cannot be violated in the exercise of this right to freedom. "Assembly" means a temporary gathering of several people in public places for political purposes, which may take the form of public events, rallies, pickets, tent cities, demonstrations, street processions, etc. A person or a group of persons organizing various forms of freedom of free assembly must receive official approval in advance from the executive authority or notify them about the relevant measure. The warning should be justified by the organizers and its purpose should be explained. In holding these mass events, the will of the people should be accepted as the main factor, and the requirements of the law should be strictly followed. The development dynamics of consultative forms of democracy directly depend on the level of democratic statehood of those democratic states. One of the main factors here is the presence of civil solidarity and the state's liberal legislative system. In the application of the freedom of free assembly, the expression of opinion and will of the people and a part of it, as one of the means of influencing the political power, these processes take place in the same direction as the process of democratic development of the state. These political institutions are one of the people's opportunities to control democratic processes and develop them continuously.

ObjectiveSpontaneous isolated abdominal aortic dissection (SIAAD) is a rare aortic emergency and not yet fully understood. This study aims to report the characteristics and treatments of 31 patients with SIAAD in the past 12 years.MethodsA total of 31 consecutive patients with SIAAD between 2010 and 2022 were included. The clinical manifestations, treatment strategies, and outcomes were reviewed. Following the SVS/STS reporting standard, we compared the clinical characteristics with different locations of primary entry, or different numbers of dissected zones. Furthermore, we compared the effects of surgical and conservative therapies on the outcome during the follow-up.ResultsAmong the 31 patients with SIAAD, 16 (51.6%) were in the acute phase on admission. The primary entry of SIAAD was mainly located in Zone 9 (67.7%). Most patient presented with dissection involving 1 or 2 aortic zones (61.3%). In addition, 35.5% and 64.5% of SIAADs involved the visceral and iliac arteries, respectively. Compared with asymptomatic SIAADs, the symptomatic ones had longer dissection lengths (P = 0.008) and tended to involve iliac artery more frequently (P = 0.098). There were differences in the number of dissected aortic zones (P = 0.005) among patients with primary entry located in Zone 5 (Supraceliac aorta), Zone 6–8 (Paravisceral aorta) and Zone 9 (Infrarenal aorta). The involvement of visceral artery (P = 0.039) and iliac artery (P = 0.006) was significantly different between the subgroups of SIAAD involving one, two, and three or more aortic zones. The cumulative incidence of adverse false lumen progression events was significantly lower (P = 0.000) and the rate of false lumen thrombogenesis or disappearance was higher in patients receiving surgery (P = 0.001). The cumulative all-cause mortality was 9.7% at 1-year, and 19.7% at 5-year, with no significant difference between surgical and conservative therapies.ConclusionsClinical features of SIAAD vary depending on the location of the primary entry and the number of dissected aortic zones. Although surgery was not associated with a lower all-cause mortality compared with conservative therapy, it was associated with a lower incidence of adverse false lumen progression and a higher rate of aortic remodeling.

Head and neck infection (HNI) can lead to life-threatening complications, including death. The purpose of this study is to look at the entire clinico-demographic profile of patients with HNI as well as the microbiologic profile of recurring bacterial infection cases with a variety of symptoms. A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted on 1080 HNI patients in a tertiary care hospital in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, from January 2018 to December 2022. Of the 1080 cases, 771 (71.39%) were males, 309 (28.61%) were females, and 603 (55.83%) were from rural areas reporting to a tertiary care hospital. 62% of the cases were between the ages of 31 and 60. Neck abscesses account for 570 (52.78%) of all cases, with parotid abscesses accounting for 233 (21.57%), peritonsillar abscesses accounting for 170 (15.74%), otitis media 32 (2.96%), and oral cavity infection accounting for 26 (2.41%). In 854 (79.07%) cases, the etiology was odontogenic, followed by sinus in 188 (17.41%) and otogenic in 38 (3.52%). The most common presenting features were neck swelling in 537 (49.72%) cases and face swelling in 238 (22.04%) cases, followed by jaw pain in 26 (2.41%) cases and others. Patients were hospitalized for an average of 11.824.38 days. Treatment and recurrence had a strong significant relationship (p 0.001). Microbiologic investigation of recurrent patients revealed 12 microorganisms, including bacteria and fungus, mainly multidrug-resistant in given ascending order Staphylococcus aureus (26.74%), Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans (4.65%), Aspergillus fumigatus, A. flavus, A. niger, C. tropicalis, C. glabrata, C. krusei. Apart from colistin, almost all antibiotics were highly resistant to gram-negative bacteria, whereas against S. aureus, benzylpenicillin, and oxacillin showed 100% resistance, followed by erythromycin (91.3%), levofloxacin (86.96%), and ciprofloxacin (82.61%). This exploratory study would aid in determining the HNI burden and epidemiology, as well as their treatment status.

Urban public spaces play a crucial role in holding various public events. Although events positively enrich the urban environment and encourage real social interactions, there are no guidelines for their spatial organization, posing a challenge in terms of using public spaces. This paper introduces new classifications of public events and temporary structures intended for their maintenance, applied to investigate their role and impact on urban spaces, using Liberty Square in Novi Sad as a case study. This research provides valuable insights for improving urban planning, considering the need for a balance between events and preserving the quality of urban spaces. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this article, we want to show truth and beauty as good, as they are characteristics that are identified with being, that is, transcendental; reveal some characteristics of the perfect being in imperfect entities. This is possible from the thought of Thomas Aquinas, because God, who is the one who creates, in doing so transmits something of his own being to his work; just as the artist is reflected in some respect in his work. In the case of God, this reflection is called vestige, and has an analog character. Tarih boyunca futbol oynandığı her dönemde toplumları etkileyen önemli bir rekabet ve görsel şölen olmuştur. Başlangıçta askeri talim ve üst düzey sınıfı eğlendirmek amacıyla ortaya çıkan futbol, zamanla kurumsallaşma açısından önemli bir ilerleme kaydederek çağımızın popüler spor oyunlarından birisi haline gelmiştir. 19. yüzyılından itibaren küreselleşme ve kitle iletişim araçlarındaki gelişmeyle beraber daha geniş bir halk kitlesine ulaşmaya başaran futbol artık günümüz dünyasında ülkelerin rekabet alanlarından birisi haline gelmiştir. Bu sportif faaliyetlerden birisi olan futbol, insani bir girişim olması hasebiyle içinde birçok kültürel öğeyi bünyesinde barındırmaktadır. Futbol bu özelliği sebebiyle basit bir oyundan öte pek çok sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel olguyla ilişkilendirilen ve anlamlandırılan bir oyun hâline gelmiştir. Bugün ülkelerin futbol ile olan ilişkileri incelendiği zaman kendi milli takımlarının başarısında büyük pay sahibi olan futbolcuların, üstün futbol yeteneği sayesinde adeta mitleştirilerek içinde yaşadıkları toplumun gözünde sıradan insanlardan farklı konumda değerlendirildiği görülmektedir. Amacı kutsalın futboldaki tezahürlerinin tespit edilmesi olan bu çalışmada, dokümantasyon metodu kullanılmıştır. Bu çerçevede tespit edilen kavram ve semboller etnometodolojik analize tabi tutularak yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada tespit edilen en önemli husus post-modern çağda bireylerin veya grupların kutsalla olan ilişkisini geleneksel dini kurumlar olmadan da bir şekilde devam ettirmeleridir.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. In December 2019, cases of pneumonia with unknown cause were first reported in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Confirmed cases and death rates due to COVID-19 in the world are still increasing. One part of the body that is affected and causes clinical symptoms in COVID-19 is the skin. This review aims to describe and analyze cutaneous manifestation in COVID-19. This study method is a review of the literature sourced from Google Scholar and PubMed. The literature was selected using English language criteria, using the clinical study method in the form of case reports. Meanwhile, literature review, systematic literature, and meta-analysis were excluded. Journal searches were carried out using the keywords "skin" OR "cutaneous" AND "manifestation" AND "COVID-19" OR "coronavirus". The skin manifestations of COVID-19 have been observed. The most common clinical symptoms of COVID-19 were fever (47%), dry or productive cough (25%), sore throat (16%), generalized sore throat (6%), and pain (5%). However, currently there has been a shift in the approach to diagnosing COVID-19 because it can cause symptoms in other organ systems, one of which is skin manifestations. There are early reports of skin involvement (erythematous rash, extensive urticaria, and chickenpox-like vesicles) occurring in 20% of patients in the course of the COVID-19 disease. In addition, several case reports provide descriptions of petechiae and chilblains. Based on the cases that have been reported, patients with COVID-19 who have manifestations on the skin can give a picture of maculopapular eruptions, vesicular eruptions, petechiae, and also childblains.
