Abstract

The paper designed a kind of intelligent mail box with remote visual inspection function based on the rule of "a visual examination must he made before the closing of mail box" when the courier receiving the packages. The remote visual inspection on express packages was designed based on the remote audio and video transmission, remote robot control and illegal gas detection and other functions. Hence it prevented the operators from different visual inspection standards or no visual inspection. A Bluetooth scatter net based on nRF52832 realized wireless connection of the manipulator arm, the main control computer, mobile phone or PDA. so that the system could be seamlessly integrated into the existing express cabinet system, the cost of the system was reduced. The automatic volume measurement technology could automatically open, the appropriate size of grid for the package could avoid the waste of space resources. After operation tests, the system has stable performance and convenient operation, and the performance of the system has reached the design requirements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

This report is intended to provide model ordinances for common situations for county highway departments and local street departments in Indiana where no current sample or model ordinance is readily available. Information to prepare model ordinances was collected from other Indiana counties and municipalities. Some of the model ordinances were created at the request of local highway and street departments. The purpose of this report was not to duplicate regulations already in place such as where state governments cover issues such as road signage, or traffic control, but to provide references for situations that have no other regulation or where specific needs might not be covered by other regulation. Such an example is the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. This manual does not cover political signs or realty signs. The model ordinances included in this report might be common in some counties but not so in others. The intent was to provide a reference so each county could determine what its own needs are and a starting point to meet those needs. Consultation with local legal counsel is suggested prior to implementing any ordinance contained in this report. While these ordinances can be a starting point the local counsel has the training to insure legal conflicts and specific provisions are enforceable should the ordinances be challenged in court.

Cílem práce je navrhnout především funkční a praktickou schránku, se kterou se bude dobře manipulovat a zároveň bude designově ojedinělá. Finální návrh vychází z designérské analýzy, průzkumu současných schránek veřejných pošt a jejich technických řešení. Přináší nápaditý, avšak jednoduchý tvar, který je ergonomicky vyhovující a splňuje požadavky kladené na poštovní schránku. Schránka by mohla nahradit současné řešení z 80. let., This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of the Česká pošta mailbox. It aims to find a functional and practical letter box which will be easy to manipulate with and at the same will be designed in a unique manner. The final design is based on an analysis of the current mailboxes around the world and their technical solutions. It brings an imaginative yet simple shape that is ergonomically pleasant and meets the requirements for a mailbox. The product could replace the current solution from the 1980s.

Abstract

This issue begins with a tribute to Dr. J. Hugo Reed, Professor of Veterinary Science. Agricultural articles pertain to creating antifreeze mixtures, the commercial incubator in the poultry industry, and sales efficiency in the dairy industry. Other articles address the meaning of "bluestockings" in literary circles, the value of college debates, and the will of William Dunlop. Published in this issue is the first prize essay for the O. A. C. Review competition. The editorial debates the merits of also publishing a weekly student newspaper and reviving college songs. The highlight of the campus news is the success of the first College Royal. Other campus news reports on a farewell party for alumni leaving to work in Cuba, the Short Course Reception, the annual banquet for the freshmen, and the Union Literary Society meeting. The Alumni column provides an update of alumni activities.
