Liquefied wood is a potential alternative to the synthetic adhesives which are used for the bonding of wood. Despite the ability of liquefied wood to self-crosslink, bonds formed during the bonding of wood with liquefied wood do not achieve sufficient shear strength and have poor resistance to water. For this reason the process of the curing of liquefied wood, the influence of various parameters on the shear strength of bonds, and the structure of bonds formed during the bonding were analyzed. It was found that the chemical curing of liquefied wood started after water and solvent had been removed from it. When bonding wood, the curing liquefied wood takes place faster because, in addition to evaporation, the transition of both vaporous components from the liquefied wood to the lamellas also occurs. During the bonding of 5 mm thick beech lamellas with liquefied wood having a negative pH, at optimal bonding conditions (180 °C, 12 min), a specific type of bond was formed. It consisted of a central part of carbonized wood cells of the bonded lamellas and the cured liquefied wood, and a narrow layer of partly delignified wood cells at the border between the central part and bonded lamella.

Predmet diplomske naloge je statična analiza in dimenzioniranje mostu za pešce in kolesarje. Bistvo diplomske naloge je dimenzioniranje že obstoječega mostu po evropskih standardih EUROCODE. Posebnost mostu je v stropu in tleh, sestavljenih iz CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) plošč in štirih lepljeih nosilcev. Nosilci in plošča delujejo kot T-nosilec. Za podrobno analizo T-nosilca je bilo potrebno modelirati linijski element v interakciji s CLT ploščo. Ker v Evropi za dimenzioniranje CLT plošč še ne obstajo veljavni standardi, je bilo potrebno izpeljati porušne mehanizme CLT plošč. Most je osrednjega razpona 35 m in visi na dveh vrveh, ki delujeta kot verižnica. Že obstoječi most smo hoteli prilagoditi slovenskim standardom. Poleg mehanske odpornosti smo navedli še nekatere rešitve za komunalno opremljenost takšnih mostov. Navajamo tudi postopek za pridobitev ustrezne dokumentacije pred izgradnjo mostu. The subject of my diploma is the constructional analysis and dimensioning of a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. The essence of this diploma is adjusting an existing bridge to suit the European EUROCODE standards. The special feature of the bridge is its ceiling and floor consisting of a CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) panel and four glued beams. Panel and beams function as a T-beam. The detailed analysis of a T-beam required modelling of a line-element in interaction with a CLT panel. Due to the lack of valid CLT panel modelling standards in Europe it was necessary to derive equations for failure mechanisms of CLT panels. The bridge has a central span of 35m and is suspended on two steal ties. Our goal was to adjust the existing bridge to suit the Slovenian standards. In addition to mechanical resistance, we have listed some other solutions for municipal equipment of such bridges. We also offer the procedure for obtaining the appropriate documentation before the beginning of the construction work on a bridge.

Predmet diplomske naloge je konstrukcijska analiza tročlenskega lepljenega nosilca pri idejni zasnovi športne dvorane dimenzij 40 x 80 m. Bistvo diplomske naloge je torej računska kontrola nosilnosti in stabilnosti glavnega nosilca in njegovih priključkov po najnovejših slovenskih in evropskih standardih glede na maksimalno predvideno obtežbo. Glavni nosilni element objekta je tročlenski okvir, ki ga sestavljajo dva nosilca in trije priključki: eden se nahaja v slemenu in dva v podporah. Razpon okvirja meri 40 m. Nosilec je iz lepljenega lesa GL 30c. Statična višina nosilca meri od 1.2 m — 1.4 m, širina nosilca je 20 cm. Vzdolžni raster je konstanten in meri 5 m. Nosilec bomo dimenzionirali po mejnem stanju nosilnosti in mejnem stanju uporabnosti. The subject of my diploma is the constructional analysis of the three-armed glued arched beam of a sports hall of 40 x 80 dimension, based on the conceptual design. The essence of the assignement, therefore, is a calculated control of load-bearing capacity and stability of the main beam and attachments, according to current Slovenian and European standards, considering a maximally foreseen loading. The main load-bearing element of the sports hall is a three armed frame, consists of two bearers and three attachments: one can be found in the ridge and the two of them in the supporting structure. The range of the frame measures 40 m. The beam is made of glued wood GL 30c. Its static height varies from 1.2 m to 1.4 m and its width is 20 cm. The longitudinal raster measures 5 m and it's constant. The beam will be dimensioned according to the extreme load-bearing capacity and usefulness.
