The article describes why the Trieste issue is the only one of the territorial disputes Italy had with neighbouring countries at the end of the Second World War that still influences Italian public opinion and policy. The first part of the work briefly describes the problem that Italy had with its former colonies, and with France, Austria and Yugoslavia. While the topic is not discussed in detail for the sake of brevity, emphasis has been placed to the mutual impact each of these territorial issues had on the others during the period when the looming Cold War influenced all of them. The second half of the article explains what made the Trieste issue unique and why it still plays an important role in the Italian national consciousness. The article is based on Italian, Croatian and Slovenian historiography and refers, for specific aspects, to documents from the Office of the Marshal of Yugoslavia (Fond 836 - Arhiv Jugoslavije) and the Political Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia (PA - DAMSP)., U članku se objašnjava zašto je, od svih teritorijalnih pitanja koja je Italija imala sa zemljama u susjedstvu na kraju Drugog svjetskog rata, tršćansko jedino koje još uvijek utječe na talijansko javno mnijenje i politiku. U prvom se dijelu članka ukratko opisuje teritorijalni spor koji je Italija imala s Francuskom, talijanskim bivšim kolonijama, Austrijom i Jugoslavijom. Ta su pitanja promatrana u glavnim crtama radi konciznosti, s fokusom na uzajamni utjecaj koji su međusobno imali jedna na druge u fazi kad je početak hladnog rata utjecao na sve njih. U drugom se dijelu članka objašnjava zašto je tršćansko pitanje tako posebno i zašto još uvijek igra važnu ulogu u talijanskoj nacionalnoj svijesti. Članak se temelji na radovima talijanske, hrvatske i slovenske historiografije, a kako bi se bolje objasnilo određene detalje, korišteno je nekoliko dokumenata iz Kancelarije Maršala Jugoslavije (Fond 836 - Arhiv Jugoslavije) te Političkog arhiva Ministarstva vanjskih poslova Republike Srbije (PA - DAMSP).

The Autonomous province of South Tyrol possesses a rich cultural heritage. There are more than 70 museums with collections ranging from the prehistory, the early history, the popular culture, the arts and handicrafts, but also the nature, the technology, the industry as well as the working reality of South Tyrol. There are more than 6000 protected architectural monuments that give evidence of the history of our country. Only a few collections are catalogued completely and according to international standards. There are different cataloguing systems whose data cannot be connected in a net or exchanged because of their respective different methods of documentation. Therefore, the administration of the Autonomous province of South Tyrol realises the necessity to sustain institutions like for example museums or the church, or associations concerned offering them the necessary support. The aim of the project cataloguing of cultural heritage in South Tyrol is the uniform registration and cataloguing of the movable and immovable cultural riches in South Tyrol and thus the preservation of its cultural heritage. The result should be an electronic catalogue of all the cultural assets in South Tyrol, which are accessible in both Italian and German language and which correspond to the international regulations and laws. This virtual catalogue of the cultural riches of South Tyrol offers different “levels of information” for different kinds of users (public end user, researchers, administration authorities and employees, organisers of expositions) and it is going to be the basis for the development of further offers . Starting from the results of the investigation of the actual status, the digitisation plan and the estimated concept for the realisation of the virtual catalogue have been created. They are also the basis for the call for tenders of a cataloguing software, which is published in March.

U radu se interpretiraju najvažniji rezultati istraživanja provedenog prema metodologiji TOMAS u Južnom Tirolu u ljetnim mjesecima 1992. i to: zanimanje, izobrazba, veličina domicila, vrsta putovanja, motivi, iskustvo, duljina boravka, smještaj, organizacija putovanja, način prehrane, troškovi putovanja, namjera ponovnog dolaska, ocjena kvalitete okoliša, stavovi o prometnim ograničenjima, športske i druge aktivnosti, ocjena turističke privlačnosti/ponude mjesta, ocjena smještajnog objekta, ocjena restauracije i ostalih ugostiteljskih objekata.

Es werden die Genista radiata-Bestände an der Mendel in Südtirol (Italien) beschrieben und ihr Gesellschaftsanschluß diskutiert. Das Genisto-Festucetum alpestris Peer 83 besidelt steile südexponierte Kalkhänge der hochmontanen und subalpinen Stufe und ersetzt z.T. den Zwergstrauchgürtel mit Pinus mugo. Ähnlich zusammengesetzt ist das Genisto-Festucetum alpestris pinetosum Peer 83, das in den ¡lockeren Erika-Kiefernwäldern auftritt und bis in die tiefmontane Stufe hinunterreicht. Keinerlei syntaxonomische Bedeutung besitzt Genista radiata in den thermophilen Buschwaldgesellschaften, in denen die Pflanze lediglich eine Variante zum Orno-Ostryetum seslerietosum Peer 81 darstellt und speziell in der Saumzone anzutreffen ist. Auch in den Lärchenwiesen der Kammlagen kommt Genista radiata nur sporadisch vor. Sie ist hier mit dem Festucetum nigrescentis laricetosum subass. prov. verzahnt., Istražene su vegetacijske sastojine vrste Genista radiata u južnom Tirolu i razmatrana njihova fitocenološka pripadnost. Asocijacija Genisto-Festucetum alpestris Peer 83 nastava strme, južne vapnenačke obronke visokobrdskog i subalpskog pojasa. Subasocijacija Genisto-Festucetum alpestris pinetosum Peer 83 dolazi u rijetkim borovim šumama s crnjušom i spušta se do u niži brdski pojas. Termofilne niske šume, u kojima Genista radiata nema posebno sintaksonomsko značenje, označene su samo kao varijanta zajednice Orno-Ostryetum seslerietosum Peer 81. Genista radiata dolazi također na travnjacima s arišem, ali samo sporadično i to u mješavini sa zajednicom Festucetum nigrescentis laricetosnm subass. prov., The Genista radiata-communities of the Mendel in the South Tyrol (Italy) are described and their connection to other plant-communities is discussed. Genisto-Festucetum alpestris Peer 83 settles on steep, south- exposed colcareous slopes of high-mountain and subalpine altitudes and replaces particularly the dwarf-shrub-belt with Firms mugo. Similar contents aire found in Genisto-F estucetum alpestris pinetasum Peer 83, which occurs in undensed Erico-Pinetum-communities and reaches down to the low-mountain-altitude. In the thermophilic bush-communities, in which Genista radiata is found only as a variant of Orneto-Ostryetum seslerie- tosum (Peer 81), the plant has no syntaxonomic importance. Genista radiata especially is found in the edge-zone. In the grassland of the larch- communities of the ridges Genista radiata appears only sporadically. Here the plant appeals in Festucetum nigrescentis laricetosum subass. prov.
